Customer receiving notification of comment published ?

When using the commenting module on a product page, is it possible for the customer who submits the comment to receive a workflow notification that the comment was approved and published ?
Here's what I've tried and failed at doing.
1. Set up a workflow and ticked the box that says "Send workflow message to customer"

2. Then under module > comments > manage comment rules, only logged in users can publish a comment and that the above mentioned workflow is triggered.
Not sure if there's a bug, but those internal users in the workflow are NOT notified

Thanks Liam. Comments have been approved but the workflow still doesn't activate the message to customers. Reckon it's a bug. I'll get onto support.

    Request and Response should be part of same agreement. I hope you are not confused between Acknowledgement and Response. Acknowledgement can be received in the same session (sync mode) but Response will always come in a different session and will be treated as a different document. If, for request, party A is initiator and B is responder then for response party B will be initiator and party A will be responder (as Requset and Response are two docs in case of Custom Document)

    Received notification that my password had been changed but it was not done by me. How do I ensure this doesn't happen again ?

    I agree with TSN; it could be a phishing scam.  Clear indications: if the email message does not mention your name (but "dear valuable customer").
    Always check the originating IP address from where the message really came from (the 'From:' email header can easily be forged).

    I use a different approach to getting the folder spec.
    See attached jpg.
    This sub-VI repeatedly strips a path until it finds the folder spec.
    This approach works in all environments including dynamically loaded VI in exe's.
    It should also be cross platform compatible, but alas I can not say that I have ever tried it outside a Windows environment.
    This method does not require any property nodes which can affect the thread the VI runs in.

  • Sap fiori app, is it mobile app or app works in mobile browser, for receiving notifications

    is fiori app is a real mobile app, or is it purely application that works on mobile browser.
    we have installed sap fiori client from google playstore. configured sap fiori client with fiori launchpad url, so we are able to access the fiori app.
    if we want to develop fiori mobile app to work like news app, for e.g. a notifications should be received to the mobile user, even without mobile user explicitly opening the sap fiori client app. e.g. incase of news app, when the mobile user gets notification, then clicks on the notification, this opens the news app.
    can we achieve/develop sap fiori app, which can send the notifications to mobile users.
    our customer wants notifications like "Your leave request approved" to their employees on their mobile, as soon as the leave is approved by manager.
    currently our customer can see only when they manually launch fiori launchpad from their mobile.

  • How to get the last received notification timestamp when app in background

    Hi All,
    We are developing the app in windows phone Silverlight 8.1.
    We need to show the last received notification time stamp even when the app is in background.
    When the app in foreground, I can get the timestamp.
    Since we cant write the background task for the Silverlight phone 8.1 app, I don't know how to get the time stamp of the last
    notification(toast/livetile/badge) in the app for display.
    Can anyone help on this.

    Yes, continuous background execution is not supported but you can use background tasks. 
    (Continuous background execution in this context refers to the special run state permitted for GPS Navigation apps.)

  • Financials- Aging- Customer Receivables Aging

    Hi,
    I'm not able to export Customer receivables aging report to PDF with the option File->Export ->PDF.
    But, I'm able to export with the option, preview and exports as pdf.
    All other documents like PDF to Purchase order works fine. 
    This issue with Aging report is happening with 64 bit and works fine on 32 bit.

  • Overdue amount in Customer Receivable Aging report

    Hi all!
    Got a question.
    In customer receivable aging report SAP Business One displays the relevant open receivables in columns representing the specifications you made in the Interval field in the selection criteria window. But how does it counts them? I've tried to pick all total from invoices,where between doc date and aging date 30 days passed. But it displays incorrect values. Is there any specific query for that?

  • SAP Business One 8.8 - Customer Receivables Ageing Report

    Hi All,
    We have one client on ramp up for SAP Business One 8.8. They love the new version and the feedback has been exceptional. I have one issue with the customer receivables ageing report. Once the results are displayed we are applying a filter on the report which does not seem to meet our expectations (Possible Bug?) We are trying to filter a particular ageing column only to display values if they are greater than 0 for that column. The filter partailly works since it displays the values greater than 0 but it also displays values where the column value = "Blank" thus not achieving the desired result! Does anybody know how to do this and if not should I log this on the SAP Messages Dashboard?
    I have also tried to use a condition where the column is not equal to blank but then again it displays customers who have a negative balance in that column! Once again not the desired result.
    Any help / feedback will be much appreciated!

    Hi,
    Please check by selecting any amount appearing in the list in the column you are filtering in the "Greater than". After selcting the value update the same to be zero and then filter the results.
    Check if it bring the desired results.
    Also, if not, please update us with the patch you are checking in order to test.

  • Invoice Date needs to be date when Customer receives goods

    Client when shipping by sea would like the Invoice Date to be the same day the customer received the goods, basically the Pick Up Date even though the delivery might have been 'shipped' from the jetty.
    How can this be done? Would the Invoice Date be the Pick Up date?

    Hi,
    I guess you're asking about OM shipping and AR invoices. If you have invoicing at line level, as soon as you ship a line, OM insert a line into AR interface and this line is ready to be imported into AR. If you ship from USA to Europe by sea it will take about 10-15 days to goods be delivered. As invoice date is defined when you import it into AR, in order to achieve your requirement, you will not be able to import your invoice into AR and will not have info on Receivables. Or do you want to import your invoice into AR as soon as goods are shiped and change the invoice date when customer receives them?
    In the first option, you could do the following: define two AR batch sources: AIR and OTHER, for example. The first one will be used to sea shipping and the second one to ground or air shipping. In the first AR batch source, uncheck derive date. In OM, define two order types: OT_AIR and OT_OTHER, one to sea shipping and other one to ground/air shipping. In order type AIR, define AIR as batch source, and in OT_OTHER define OTHER as batch source.
    Normally import your transaction with batch source OTHER into AR. For the orders shipped by sea, you will have to import them one by one. As soon as you receive the customer acks, go to ar autoinvoice and import the order received by the customer and define as default transaction date the date informed by the customer.
    I know it is not a good solution, so I think you will need some custom to have it done.

    For example, I will be in the messages app texting someone and I will still receive a sound and vibration letting me know someone sent me a text message even though I'm in the app and ALREADY KNOW THAT THEY ARE TEXTING ME.
    Is there any way that I can fix this problem?

  • My boss is receiving notifications for every employee's calendar. How do I make it stop?

    The company that I work for uses google calendar for scheduling appointments, meetings, ect. Each employee has their own calendar. Additionally there is a "master" calendar that is maintained by our office assisstant. The calendars are shared and everyone in the company can see each calendar. The issue that my boss has described to me is that he is receiving notifications for each of our calendars and the master calendar. For example... when we have our Monday morning meetings and all employees are scheduled to be there there is a meeting posted on all of our calendars as well as the master. An hour before... he receives eleven notifications of the Monday morning meeting. I have both my personal google cal and work google cal synced with my iPhone and I do not experience this problem. Neither do the two other gentlemen in the office that I have approached with this issue.
    Here is what I know:
    I have two google accounts added to my iPhone including my work account and do not receive multiple notifications of an event.
    My boss has five accounts, not all of them google, in his iPhone. One of them appears to be set up as a google sync account.
    I double checked his notification settings in google cal and he does not have notifications/reminders set for any calendar other than his own in the calendar settings.
    He has shared notifications turned off on both his device and on his iCal.
    I would appreciate any advice or guidance on this issue. Thanks in advance!!

    There's a fault with the blocklist.xml file which was updated on Friday, it should be fixed on Monday and you should get the updated file on Monday or Tuesday.

  • I used to be able to double click the home button to choose to receive notifications via iPhone speaker instead of the Bluetooth. With ios7, that's gone as well as any obvious way to do it.  I don't wear my Bluetooth on my ear every minute of the day!!!!

    If you are getting Siri when you double tap, then your home button must be sticking. Siri comes up when you hold the home button. Try tapping quickly twice. When that happens, the multi-tasking list comes up and you will see the app icon and then a thumbnail, or reduced size view of the app above it. You put your finger on that thumbnail and swipe upwards with your finger.
    For that issue, you might want to do a reset of the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. This will not affect your data.
    To be honest, your novel is a little difficult to read, and I think you put too much information in there, and a lot of it is unnecessary. Be to the point and just add information necessary to understand the issue.

    We need a Customer Receivables Aging Report but the one that is in this pack makes use of PLD_ITEMS field, which is making it really difficult for me to move things around. What tables and joins will I need to create this in crystal getting the data directly from the database ?
