Customer service - Online chat (anyone know what happened to it)?

Because I don't think it is healthy for me to call Adobe support any longer (bottling up anger, frustration, rage, etc... is dangerous for one's health). Actually, I am usually a calm/jovial person, that is, until I began this Captivate 4/Connect Pro project. But after the last few tech 'support' calls to Adobe, I am worried that this faking politeness may be affecting my health.
Anyhow, I thought I would try out my luck with the Adobe chat system. I have had successes in the past with this service. Unfortunately, I noticed that for the longest time, the chat system has been unavailable with the message:
OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALISTS ARE OFFLINE NOW. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.
Does anyone know the status of this service?

Check that your computer is compatible with Mountain Lion.
To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) model number 5,1 or higher
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) model number 3,1 or higher
Your Mac needs:
OS X v10.6.8 or OS X Lion already installed
2 GB or more of memory (More is better - 4 GB minimum seems to be the consensus)
8 GB or more of available space
If your computer isn't compatible, you might be able to upgrade to Lion.

Printing my own photos! Does anyone know what happened to the area on the left hand side of iPhoto when you went into printing your own photos? I used to be able to create a page of wallets and print it from my own computer and now I can't find it.Help

You most likely have zoom on. Double tap with THREE fingers to turn zoom off, if it is on, then: Settings>General>Accessibility...turn it off for good.

Well the app "Polarize" is still available on the app store.
As for the question regarding what is hapening when you chose a picture I do not know.

You are correct, there is no flash player on the iPhone, find an alternate browser that may be able to help your quest.
Or use the corresponding app in the App Store.

You may have more then one catalog. And you opened the old one by accidente. To switch back to your cuurent one close lightroom and click again the Lr icon to open it before lr lunch click Ctrl+Alt it will open a dialog box from there you can choose which catalog you want to work with.
NB : you can not open two catalogs in same time.

Vanishing Firewire drive - anyone know what happened?

The power went out for a moment earlier today, and when it went back on (and I rebooted) my external firewire drive did not mount.
I turned everything off, waited a couple of hours - same thing. I repaired permissions - nothing. Finally, I moved the input into the other firewire port, and the drive mounted and everything works again.
Anyone have any idea what happened here? I'd like to think the machine just got confused somehow and wouldn't mount rather than something nasty happening to the firewire port. Thanks

So have you tested the Firewire port to which the drive was originally connected? Is it OK now? Or is it dead?
You posted a similar story about a "disappearing" firewire drive back on 4 MAY 2006. Is this the same drive? Did you resolve the previous problem? Have you spoken with Tech Support?
