Customer to be also created as vendor and link required
Hi Experts,
Invoice is booked to a customer and for which commision needs to be passed as expense and TDS is applicable to such expense. If i create the same customer as vendor and deduct tds while passing commission entry would partly meet my reqirement but client requires to the net balance like in fbl5n for all the transaction made. How to go about this
Thanks and Regards
If you are using the print program RFKORD10 for print, then please note the following system behaviour when the selection parameter 'Clearing' is activated: For creating the open item list the customer is the 'leading' business partner, because the correspondence should be sent only once to the business partner.
For example:
Customer AB is vendor XY. In the master data AB is linked with XY and vice versa. If the indicator 'clearing' is set in the customer master data and in RFKORD10 the open item list for customer AB contains the open items of customer AB and for vendor XY. But unfortunately the other way around doesn't work for vendor XY. Due to the requirements of many other customer a correspondence should be send only once.
If a open item list is printed for customer AB with open items of XY and for vendor XY with open items of AB, the same business partners is getting two letters, which is confusing.
So as workaround you have the possibility to request the correspondence for the customer if clearing with a vendor should be taken into account.
Hope this information helps.
Kind Regards
Soumya

Creating a Vendor and Accounts Payable Invoice
Hello Everyone,
At the moment we are using transaction FK01 or XK01 to create a Vendor on the SAP system. We want the process of "Creating a Vendor" and "Creating Accounts Payable Invoice" to be available on Portal which allows us to automate some part of our business process.
Could anyone suggest me a proper approach for this requirements. I would appreciate your help. It is a bit urg*nt.
Regards,
PG.I would check in SE37 to see if there is any other BAPIs. Alternatively you could debug the transaction in R/3 to see which function modules it uses. It's possible that there is no BAPI, but there is a non RFC function module for creating a vendor. In that case, you can create a "wrapper" for it, ie your own function module that is rfc enabled and that simpley forwards the call internally to the function module that creates the vendor.
I would also search the ABAP forums to find out if there are any function modules that provide this operation. If you don't find any threads you can try posting a question. It's best to post questions concerning BAPIs and function modules in the ABAP forums (or related forums).
Failing all this or if none of the above fits your requirements, you could create your own BAPI to perform this operation. But 9/10 there is a standard function module to perform most operations. Don't worry if it's not rfc enabled like a BAPI, just create a wrapper around it.
Cheers,
Dion -

You should also create directories for and mount any other partitions
Hi,
I've downloaded archlinux-2012.12.01-dual.iso and wrote it to USB. I've booted from that USB and set up partititons using command cfdisk.
/dev/sda5 ==> /boot
/dev/sda6 ==> /
/dev/sda7 ==> swap
/dev/sda8 ==> /home
I don't remember if I've created /mnt or if it was already there. I've created two directories: /mnt/boot and /mnt/home as per instructions:
"https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Installation_Guide
Mount the partitions
We now must mount the root partition on /mnt. You should also create directories for and mount any other partitions (/mnt/boot, /mnt/home, ...) if you want them to be detected by genfstab."
I've mounted /dev/sda6 on /mnt
and now there are no /mnt/boot and /mnt/home under the /mnt
I don't understand what to do now because instructions state that I should create directories /mnt/boot and /mnt/home and mount them but now that I've mounted / on /mnt the /mnt/boot and /mnt/home are not available to mount partitions /dev/sda6 and /dev/sda8
Regardsmount /dev/sda6 /mnt
mkdir /mnt/boot
mount /dev/sda5 /mnt/boot
Then do pacstrap etc. Add /home to fstab before you reboot.
Alternatively you can mkdir /mnt/home and mount /sda8 there too, then genfstab will add the entry in fstab for it for you.

How to show Html5 created in eclipse and link to any cloud application like c4C through HCP
Hi Experts,
How to show Html5 created in eclipse and link to any cloud application like C4C through HCP
Regards,
Vijay.Your question is very unclear, please elaborate what you are trying to achieve.
Also, did you click on the Alert Moderator link? This is for reporting abusive content, spam, points cheating, etc. It should not be used w/o a reason (one of the above) as what it does is putting the content in the Moderators' queue and hiding it from public view. -
How to create data transfer and copying requirements
Hi Gurus,
Can you tell me how to create data transfer and copying requirements in copying control for SD?
Thanks,
pAULHi John,
Go to Transaction code - VOFM.
In the menu select Data Transfer and select where you want maintain the copying requirements i.e. at the order level, delivery level etc.
Here, you can either create a new routine or change the existing routine according to your requirement.
Make sure you activate the routine (click on Edit - Activate from menu) once you are done with the routine.
REWARD POINTS IF HELPFUL

How To Create a SubVi and Limit Required Inputs
Hello,
Description:
I have created a VI that reads in voltage values from the NI USB-6008 device. After putting that value into a formula, I compare the new value with an array of data and output a corresponding value (this is not too important for the problem).
Problem:
The VI currently works great. My goal is to make it into a SubVi that can read in various channels and output their values. However, when I attempt to make a subVi thourgh Edit>>Create SubVi, the subVi created requires many inputs because of the many controls I utilize in the VI.
What I want to do:
Is there any way to use the default values of the controls in the SubVi and not require the user to input each control's value into the SubVi? Or, do I have to change my controls to be constants?
Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.
Attachments:
YSI_R_to_T.vi 379 KBYou don't have to create a subvi by using the Edit - Create Subvi button. Any vi can be a subvi. Go to the front panel, right click on the icon in the top right corner, select show connector. Figure out how many inputs and outputs you want to connect to the main vi. Right click on the connector pane and select Patterns, then the pattern that fits your needs. If you want to have the main send a channel and have the subvi send an output, choose the 4 connector pane pattern. Put Error In and Error Out clusters on your front panel. Wire the channel input control to the top left terminal of the connector pane, the output indicator to the top right connector, the Error In to the bottom left, and Error Out to the bottom right. It is good to use the Error In and Out to indicate errors and to help control execution order through data flow. Save the vi. In your main block diagram, go to functions - Select a VI, and select the vi you just saved, which now becomes a subvi to the main. You can wire a control to the new subvi top left, and so on...

Hi ABAPER's,
This is Sekhar. I have a idea can we creat and modify vendor data using transactions MK01, MK02 by using BDC.
Kindly send me an option.
waiting for ur responce.
beyHi,
Using MK01 and MK02, you can create and change vendors only for the general and purchase org view. You wont be able to create vendors in company code view. If this suits your requriement you can go ahead with MK01 and MK02 . If you have to create even for company code view, you can use the generic transactions XK01 and XK02

Attempting to create 2nd instance and links for Ingres to Oracle conversion
I have an oracle instance called ORCL that was set up with a DB link to the Ingres Database and it works. I want to create
a second instance using the same binaries so that I don't clobber a developer. Using DBCA I created CONVERT.
Here's were my memory is faulty as to how the first instance was set up. I create a db link, and also entries in the
ORACLE_HOME\hs directory for the init.ora I have one listener running at it lists both instances in the sid_list ...
then when I try to query the ingres database I get
ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source name not found and no default driver specified.
ORA -02063: preceeding 2 lines from SDFA_INGRES
My oracle Database is on Windows. This is Oracle 11
ORACLE_HOME is F:\apps\oracle\product\11.1.0\db_1\ for both ORCL and CONVERT
db_2 is set up for the 2nd instance for only the redo logs and control files...
db_1\hs has two init files ... one for ORCL and CONVERT

using "SDFA_ODBC";
My select is from the CONVERT instance as SYS ...
select count(*) from test_table@SDFA_INGRES;
and then I get the above error.
What am I missing or have wrong ? Can I have 2 HS services defined in one listener or do a need seperate listeners ?
Appreciate all assistance. Excuse my typing errors ... I am on a another system and can't cut and paste. So I might have
some typos ... thank you.Andy:
That's was it !!!! I had forgotten that we needed to do this ...
I still have one little ouch though....
When I bring up the driver to define it..... on the DataSource Panel, it asks for a VNODE. It gives me 2 drop down
items which are neither of the systems I want. I can't seem to over write this value ...
Any idea of how to get my system in the VNODE field ? I can ping the box that I want to get to from the system.
I have the IP address .. where does this get set ? Every thing else seems to be good. -
I have created a web page with a photo gallery of thumbnails that link to bigger images when you hover over them. When the bigger image opens there is an odd shape at the bottom right hand side , that when pressed, will take me back to the home page. But its not the correct sought of button or symbol. I dont know how to set this up properly. I have linked J.Query style sheets. But must have missed something. Can anyone help??? this is my first web page design. It is all done except for this.
Very sensible advice. However, the second sentence in the following statement is incorrect:
1. Make sure that you have updated all recordsets to the latest (CS4) version. Older ones created before the GetSQLValueString function was introduced are vulnerable.
The GetSQLValueString() function has always existed in Dreamweaver server behavior code. However, versions of this function prior to Dreamweaver 8.0.2 are vulnerable to SQL injection.
Unfortunately, you can't update older server behaviors simply by deleting the old version of the function and replacing it with one from DW 8.0.2 or later. Other small changes were made in the server behavior code for compatibility with the revised function. PHP server behaviors created prior to DW 8.0.2 need to be deleted and rebuilt. Yes, it's a pain, but far less of a pain than being hacked. -
