I run concurrenct request ALL Scema of 'Gather Schema' yesterday.
Because page moving is very slow.
After that it is fast than before.
But when I check today I't is slow again.
Before I run concurrenct request ALL Scema of 'Gather Schema' page moving time is about 2~3min....
After I run it, 3~6 sec...
Today, 20 sec....
Our System configuration is below
EAI -> API call -> TCA of EBS < about 3000 (insert or update) /day, real time> -> transfer data to other system by java
page moving time is slow only

but it is fast to go reports, data Quality, Import, Admin ....
why occure like that? and what id have to do ...???

Today, 20 sec....Gather Schema Statistics concurrent program should take longer than seconds when you run it for all schemas. Did the concurrent request complete successfully? Please confirm this from the log file.

Enable functionalites on Customer Online Page

Hi,
Is there any way to enable following functionality on the customer online page
1. Person languages
2. Restrictions
3. Do not use email/phone Flag
As i see these functionalities are available on the E business center form under telesales manager responsibility. Does customer online also offers these features. If not how can we store the contact and contact point Preferences on the customer online page (We need to store do not call/do not mail flags and languages of the contact). I ma on R12.1. Any help would be really appreciated as I need this urgently.

By default these functionalities are not availble on Customers Online page, But you can add it using OAF customizations if you want!.

Why Customers Online is very slow?

I did insert data(party) about 1,500,000 using API
The API is
HZ_PARTY_V2PUB.create_person,
hz_location_v2pub.create_location,
hz_party_site_v2pub.create_party_site,
HZ_EXTENSIBILITY_PUB.Process_Person_Record .
It is work fine all about that in vision.
Page moving is fast like 'person simple search'
But It is too slow in fresh.
version is R12.1.1.
I working hard why very slow it is.
I found out that It is work fine while concurrent request is running (Staging all data).
But after concurrent request is complete, It is to be slow again.
When I login my id, work fine, I can see responsibilities.
But when I clicked about 'Customers Online User' or ''Customers Online Super User', It is very slow.
It seems sleep about 1~3 minutes.
After about 1~3 minutes I can see the page what I wanted.
Why it is too slow?
Advice me plz.

Firefox is moving too slow!

I notice that my firefox bowser is moving too slow for me. i cant explain why this is happening but i have been using firefox for a long time and id hate to stop using it because it's speed is moving at a turtle's pace. My internet connection is fine(in fact very fast) and i scan my computer for viruses and junk every day and nothing. if there is a faster way to speed up the browser then i will be happy. P.S i even have to use google chrome to type this message

Xircal, I've spent some time 'prodding about' and have found the add-on page/list and found that I did indeed have some add-ons so I have disabled quite a few of them and Firefox loads much quicker now. Thanks for that help. However, I still do not see a 'Firefox Button' on my home page.

ACE Load balancing web page hosted by Microsoft CMS reponding too slow

My pages hosted by an CMS (content managment server), open too slow when passing trought the ace. Any ideas?

2 GB is the minimum memory configuration to run Yosemite at all. Given that limitation you will constantly need to be mindful of the programs you're running.
ESET will only place additional demands on that Mac's limited system resources. Uninstall it. It is capable of nothing beneficial and your Mac cannot operate properly with it installed.
Back up your Mac prior to making any changes to its file system. To learn how to use Time Machine read Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac - Apple Support.

Plugin reloading too slow of multiple applets per page

Hi,
I want to share a problem with this community and try to shed some light on this.
We all know that an applet loads slow when the JVM loads for the first time or when an applets JAR gets loaded. Fine and not the problem here.
However, applets load too slow when loaded again during the same browser session. Why is this important? Well, in an AJAX-like intranet application you may use multiple applets per page which are loaded again and again as you navigate. The applets could enrich the user experience much the way AJAX does -- if only the applets would not slow down loading of pages.
For example: we have pages with about 10 applets which take about 4 seconds to reload, or 400 ms per applet. This is disappointingly slow because there is no technical excuse for this -- everything is up and running on the Java side and Flash prooves that loading ActiveX can be fast, too. Moreover, it became slower and slower from 1.1 to 1.5.
Nobody at Sun or elsewhere seems to care about this. And therefore, the plugin has now became problematic in Ajax-like intranet scenarios.
This is a pitty and we would very much welcome any kind of activity to improve this.
Anybody knows why this is slow and what is planned to improve this?

There is one known optimization (which may be useful for the readers of this topic):
One may try to keep at least ONE applet with the given EXACT (IDENTICAL archive string) classpath active, e.g., in a frame. This keeps the classloader referenced all the time and avoids reconstruction of the class loader.
However, we already apply this technique and the question is how to get reloading of applets with a ready classloader as fast as FLASH...

Albums page too slow/doesn't load properly

I am publishing to a folder and then uploading to my own web hosting with Easyspace.
I have a few issues with apostrophies and ampersands in file names but I'll find a fix to that.
My main issue is the new "My Albums" feature. When I first migrated my site to iWeb 08 and uploaded it, the My Albums page would take 3+ minutes to load. I figure this was because of the number of albums I have in there and skimming turned on.
I turned off skimming, and turned off ALL animations for the My Albums page and it still loads too slow for my liking in Firefox and Safari on OS X and Win XP. I do have Google Analytics code embedded on all html files but that shouldn't cause this slow load surely?

Thanks for the suggestions, you beat me to it, my next step was indeed to break it down to an album per year, 2007, 2006, etc, i still found your album pages took quite a long time to load though.
It just seems ridiculous to have to break albums down, why can't we have album's withing albums?
There are a few sections on my site (http://www.scoopz.com/albums/ and http://www.scoopz.com/photos/) where I use jalbum and to be honest I think I might just stick to that until the my_album pages load quicker.

Pages 5.2 on iMac is too slow!!!

I have upgraded right now Pages 5.1 to Pages 5.2. I opened my file, but it is quite impossible to write. Pages is becoming very slow. One word needs a lot of seconds to appear on the screen! What is happened? Any solutions? I have already restarted Pages, My iMac, without success. What can I do?

Fruluda shows you how to export to Pages 09 format. The issue is that Pages 5.2, like Pages 5.0-5.1, is not only lacking in features, it is also very buggy. USers have complained of slowness while editing and searching (endless beach balls) and there have been widespread reports of data corruption and files that won;t open. 5.2 may fix some of these issues but I won;t not use the software for any important project. It is a toy, not a tool.

Pages is too slow

My pages app is too while while typing, I have to wait until the word is complete. So i restarted my mac but nothing changed, so i turned off and on my computer but pages still the same. What is wrong? What i have to do to solve this?
(I have the last Pages' update installed)

If you are trying to run Yosemite on an underconfigured machine, or one that is running one or more anti-virus products (don't), then your interactive performance in Pages will crawl — especially if you are working on a big document with multiple high-resolution images in it.

pages before displaying first page
is there any way to format pages only when it's being viewed?
or any other way to boost the performance?

Safari too slow to load a page, need help

Hi mi name is roberto carlos and i really need help please. Since a time ago my SAFARI has become too slow that i can see the difference. I don't know what to do with it. Please somebody help me, how do i fix it.

Try this:
The following usually works on both Tiger and Leopard:
(First, if yours is an Intel Mac, check that Safari is not running in Rosetta, which is enough to slow it to a crawl.)
Many, including me, have had success with adding DNS codes to their Network Settings, with good results in terms of speed-up:
Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu. Click on TCP/IP and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' enter the following two numbers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Click on Apply Now and close the window.
Restart Safari, and repair permissions.
If that didn't do it, then try this as well:
Empty Safari's cache (from the Safari menu), then close Safari.
Go to Home/Library/Safari and delete the following files:
form values
download.plist
Then go to Home/Library/Preferences and delete
com.apple.Safari.plist
Repair permissions (in Disk Utility).
Start up Safari again, and things should have improved.
Less likely, but possible, is that the slowness is caused by a Trojan such as the one called 'DNSChanger' or 'OSZ.RSPlug', which can alter the DNS settings of your network connection. This particular Trojan can be inadvertently installed if you have come across certain Quicktime movies where got a window stating that you have to download and install a particular codec in order to see the video.
If you have agreed to that installation, your system can be infected and your DNS settings altered, which results in your system using the wrong DNS servers, which can slow web surfing to a crawl.
This can be fixed by downloading and running a freeware utility called DNSChanger Removal Tool which you can download from here:

Once you have run that utility you have to re-boot your Mac, then reset Safari, and re-enter your DNS settings in System Preferences/Network.

How slow is too slow?

In December of 2005, I bought a mac mini. I bought it because of my pervious experience with the complete invulnerability of macs to doltish users like me, and because I just happen to like the way macs run. My mini has been fairly slow the entire time, but because my previous mac was from about 1995 and running OS 8.6, I thought it was simply slow because computers are slow. Lately I've begun to wonder if there is something wrong with my computer, and if it is hardwarde I should have repaired before the warranty is up or if it's software related and something I can fix.
My question: Is my computer functioning below expectations for its specifications? If so, what can I do to fix it?
My computer is runing OS 10.4.7, and its hardware is as follows...

My performance; I like to keep Safari, Mail, Microsoft Windows, and Preview open all at the same time, so I can write things about PDFs while keeping an eye on my email and looking up things online. I also have "Google Earth" running fairly often. When typing more than a line or two quickly, I always have the spinning disk of processor busy. All I'm doing is typing. Now, I'd think that I'm simply overloading the processor and I should shut down some programs already, but I get the spinning disk even when just one program is open. In fact, I tried having everything closed (although I can't quit Dashboard: does that slow my computer down?) and typing in Text Edit for the lowest demand possible, and I still get delays. I also tried this after restarting the computer, in case I had serious memory leak problems. Normally, I almost never restart my computer; it starts up very slowly.
I tried a second user account ... the computer was still very slow.
I ran Apple Hardware test from the startup disk, and it didn't find any problems.
I've almost given up on using iCal because I can't add a single event without waiting at least three seconds, usually more.
When I type quickily, the words stop appearing, the pointer becomes a spinning disk, and about two to three seconds later all of the words appear on the page. This is a problem because I'm not as good a touch typist as I wish I were, and if I don't see the words appearing, my typing is usually full of errors.
With presumably processor-intensive programs such as Google Earth, the computer will pause for 30 seconds or more on a regular basis, even if Google Earth is the only program running.

It does sound like you have unusually slow performance in some areas.
I think it would be worthwhile to have it examined and just get a professional opinion on it if it is still under warranty.
But, it could be software causing the problem as well.
So, you may actually find that a fresh installation of OS X might bring your performance back up.
Personally, I think it is more likely that software would be affecting the performance than hardware.
Hardware tends to break completely rather than just work slowly.
The only area that tends to cause slow performance is over-heating.
So, you might check that.
Does your fan spin-up when you do more intensive things (graphics, etc.)?
If you never ever hear the fan, then it may not be working.
Unfortunately, most of the temperature monitors don't get a CPU and system reading from the Mac Mini G4. I think they just don't have the same sensors as the other systems.
But, if the system over-heats, then it will typically run slow. But, it's not likely that it's over-heating because Macs usually shut-down when they get too hot as a protection mechanism.
So, I would personally first try running the maintenance routines in OnyX as I proposed previously.
Then, if no improvement is observed, then try a completely fresh installation of OS X. And, by that I mean formatting the hard drive and installing completely from scratch. Be sure to archive anything important to an external drive, another computer, or a CD-R or DVD-R disk.
Then, if the machine is still too slow after a fresh install, then take it in for examination.
Until you try installing fresh, that's going to be the first thing they tell you to do anyway. So, you might as well try it first.
As for the benchmark results, the areas you reported are explaining the performance of the graphical user interface (the interface you are working with when you click on stuff), and the performance of the hard drive when it is dealing with fresh information that it hasn't had a chance to pre-cache or hasn't handled before.

Perhaps those more familiar with the program could offer better analysis.
But, since the hard drive is working, I think you have something that is otherwise inhibiting it's performance. It could be the system just not working properly. But, I would first rule-out software / Operating System.
It would be extremely unusual for a hard drive to just perform slow. Their failures are usually complete failures.
Anyway, let me know if you have other questions. I'll check in with the discussion tomorrow.

Safari 5.1 too slow to print tab content?

Since Safari 5.1 I do have a problem with the JavaScript function window.print() in new tabs
For instance:
win = window.open();
win.blur();
self.focus();
win.document.open();
win.document.write('<html><head><meta charset="UTF-8"><title>test</title>');
win.document.write('</head><body id="print">some content here</body></html>')
win.document.close();
win.print();
win.close();
This code opens a new tab and the Safari print popup but without any content. Safari even generates multiple pages when the content requires more pages. But all pages are blank.
First I thought my print stylesheet isn't compatible with the new webkit engine or something like that.
But it turns out Safari is too slow with the .print() function and already closed the tab before the content could be rendered.
So I fixed it by setting a timeout
setTimeout(function() {win.close(); }, 1000);
Is there any chance that this problem could be fixed in general?

Hi everyone, first thanks for helping...
My SSD is 256GB and it still has 128GB of free space for now... So I don't think this is my issue.
Then I tried the the reset thing (good tip, I didn't know about that), but it's still the same. I didn't try the virus scanning, because I'm on a Mac and don't have one installed. I just let the OS dealing with it.
I think it's a graphic issue. Whenever I clic onto a folder, inside of Bridge, it's like nothing happens, execpt I can see that the name dispayed onto of the app window changes. So Bridge DID actually get me into that folder, but the graphic interface doesn't show it.
If I use Exposé or Space then the change does appears.
So everytime I move into another folder, I drag my mouse to one corner of my screen to activate Exposé, then come back and here I am in the new folder.
But this trick doesn't work for preview. My preview window allows me to play sound from video files, but wont display any image for it (like if it was sound only files). Still images (jpeg, psd...) wont show up as well.
So it is definitly a graphic problem. The softaware is not slow, like I though at first, it just don't reflect what's going on on the interface.
When I click "about this Mac" to get info on my graphic card it reads:
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Why do I have 2 of them? No idea... But I see guys online that have the same in their Mac...
I'm not sure to understand if I can or cannot update graphic card drivers for Mac... Usualy the only upgrades I need are coming from Apple, and my Snow Leopard is fully up to date...
