Is there any way to customize error page in HTMLDB.
and How can we change error page conditions , like if its an authorization error (not a valid user ) and process error in a page etc..\

My Sceniro is Full load from ODS1 to 5 other ODS. Iam uploading the data to other 5 ODS by selecting 1 ODS at a time.
Problem i am facing is upload is ending up with error mesg. Error Mesg are

Req xxx in ODS2 must have QM ststus green before it is activated - RSM1110</b>
I have seen the the OSS notes for given error no, but they are not applicable to me. what could be the other possible solution.
In detail tab of the monitor i see red light at Extraction step and Subseq. processing.
Its quite urgent bcoz this error is occuring in Production system.
Plzzzz urgent help needed.

go to RSA1->Modeling->Source Systems and right-click on your BW system, and click on 'Replicate Datasources'.
also, go to the ODS that's causing the problem (via RSA1->InfoProvider and go to your ODS), right click and click on 'Generate Export Datasource'.
one more thing, make sure that all your record/s in the source ODS is active. if you're not sure manage its contents and click on 'Activate'. if there are any entries in the the next screen that comes up, you need to activate it first, then try everything again.
let me know what happens. also try to look for error messages in ST22 and SM21 that may be related to this and post whatever possible error you see there here.

You can set up the maintenance page when at the Web server level when the application is down in the App layer. Here is the reference for Oracle HTTP server, same you can do it for any other web server too..!!
You can achieve this by configuring an error page at the WebServer (part of web-tier).
For example, in the case of a Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), you could do the following:
1. Place your maintenance page at <ORACLE_INSTANCE>/config/OHS/<component_name>/htdocs.
For Example, <ORACLE_INSTANCE>/config/OHS/<component_name>/htdocs/errorPage500.html
2. Open the OHS httpd.conf located at <ORACLE_INSTANCE>/config/OHS/<component_name> in an editor and search for the string ‘ErrorDocument 403′ which can be seen as commented text. Next to the commented text line, add the below lines for configuring the Error
Pages (500 —> backend server unavailable, 403 —> forbidden request, 404 –> Resource Not available). For the below example, we had 3 html pages errorPage500.html, errorPage403.html and errorPage404.html are deployed in OHS htdocs.
ErrorDocument 500 /errorPage500.html
ErrorDocument 403 /errorPage403.html
ErrorDocument 404 /errorPage404.html
3. Save the changes to the httpd.conf file.

Updating to MAXDB 7.5.00.29- user logon failed error! Urgent Help

I am trying to update MaxDB 7.5.00 to MaxDB 7.5.00.29
on WAS 6.40. When I run the update via SDBUPD, I get the error "cannot establish database instance". i have looked in the log files(MaxDBUpdate_install-16.07.2005-16.13.log)
and the error is

ERR
-24950,ERR_USRFAIL: user authorization failed</b>
I am following "MaxDB update SAP note 735598" and under Windows section it states I should call the SDBUPD from the cmd prompt as follows:
SDBUPD -d <database_name> -u <dbm_userid>,<password>
so i run
<b>SDBUPD -d J2E -u Administrator,portal</b>
I assume <dbm_userid> is the default userid which is Admisitrator when installing WAS and MAXDB. I ahve not changed the default during the installation.
I have tried <b>SAPJ2EDB</b> as dmb_userid as well as <b>J2EE_Admin</b>, they still give the same error.
Any help on this?

I used control,control as user,password. This worked 100%, but then it reached to a point where it gave this error, i get this from the log file:

What causes this error, and how can i get pass this ?
I assume some instance is started, but before I ran the SDBUPD, I stopped the J2E under sap system in SAPMMC.

Error page? help!

so.. when i tried to login to my account in a website.. i got the message i copied below. I never had problems going in it before. It happened right after I installed the latest firefox browser. I can't find the root directory they are talking about and dont really understand what to do. someone help me!

Customised Error Pages

Im just wondering how easy it is to create customised pages in JSP.
For example I have a registration page on my website. I have registered with the usrername jbloggs. If another user tries to register after me with the same username they will get a Tomcat error page or a bad gateway. I want to be able to display a page that says something like "Username jbloggs has already been chosen. Please chose another username". Does anybody have any idea how to do this.

Your code has to detect a user has registered with the same username.
I presume you are using a database?
So you can do this pre-emptively. Check if the username exists before entering.
Or you can just let it enter, and (presumably) catch the SQLException caused when you try and enter duplicate values (thats if you have the constraint on the database of course)
In either case, you catch the exception in java code, and can use the RequestDispatcher to forward to any page you like.

Error while reading native data.
[Line=6, Col=7|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/] Not enough data available in the input, when trying to read data of length "22" for "element with name PurOrderNum" from the specified position, using "style" as "fixedLength" and "length" as "22".
Ensure that there is enough data from the specified position in the input.
Let me also give you the brief scenario of what I am trying to achieve.
INTERFACE FUNCTIONING:_
I have an interface which reads the records in a file in a chunk through ChunkRead adapter and and after one successful reading if chunk it calls the DB adapter to insert the records in the table.
Now these records are committed and next chunk is read and the process goes on till all the records are read.
After this the API is called which does the processing of these records.
Inserting records in the DB is a XA transaction which means if anything goes wrong while inserting the data, the records which are added earlier are rolled back.
ISSUE:_
Now the issue comes when I do the negative testing. Since my file is based on fixed length schema., I change the length of last record from 15 to 13. (say total are 10 records)
Now what happens is when chunkread tries to read the record of 15 length it gets only 13 characters and hence ignores the records.
But the chunkread reads all other 9 records correctly and sends this to DB adapter which now inserts them correctly in the DB.
But being a global transaction I want that if any record is missing from DB in comparison to those in file then whole transaction should roll back.
So I am unable to make this whole process as global transaction. This is because the ChunkRead adapter inspite of detecting the error doesn’t throw it back.
Moreover if this problem occurs in say next chunk then also I am unable to find out how to rollback the whole transaction. Because the first chunk was correct.
So basically two concerns are there:+
How to detect that chunkread adapter has missed one record?+
Secondly, If it’s detected then how should I rollback the transaction that caused earlier records to enter into database?+
Please let me know if anyone has faced this issue earlyer and how it got resolved. Any pointers regarding this would be of great help.

Just a thought, you could set the terminator for the last field as {eol} instead of length, this means that it should read the last field regardless of the length.
Depending on the logic of Db adapter the error could be traped due to incorrect length.
If the file starts each row with a constant(s), e.g. 01 then you can terminate the previous line on that, this is the better option but relys on the file format.
The other option is a little thing call compensation, ouch. Basically this allows you to back out commited rows but you have to provide all the logic, it is generally something people avoid because of the complexity.

I had create two objects: MainFrame class that will call an Alert class.
I had it compiled and run okey so many time.
But I don't why an error is just generated when I tried to compile two object.

If you are using Oracle 8i (or higher), then to check the number and types of arguments to your "SXPA_UPDATE_PAID_REQUEST" stored procedure, start up a SQL*Plus session and enter the following command:
desc SXPA_UPDATE_PAID_REQUESTThe java code you have posted has incorrect syntax. It should be:
st = cnX.prepareCall("{CALL SXPA_UPDATE_PAID_REQUEST( ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ? )}"); Note the curly braces:- "{" and "}"
Also, the variable "st" (in the above java code) must be a "java.sql.CallableStatement". Is it? (It's not clear, from your post, whether it is.)
If the above doesn't help you, then perhaps you could supply some more information, including:
1. Oracle database version you are using.
2. Java version you are using.
3. Platform you are using.
4. JDBC driver you are using.
5. Entire error message and stack trace you are getting.
6. A bit more of your code, including:
a. how you are connecting to the database
b. how you are creating the "st" variable
c. how are you executing the stored procedure call

Problems after reloading the OS after the 0015 error. Urgent help needed

Hello,
The phone was working perfectly until today then out of the blue it just gave the 0015 error. Then I reloaded the OS. I wiped the data (security wipe). I did this three times.
Phone boots twice, takes too long to boot and randomly reboots. It gives the "SIM is from a foreign source" error. How do I solve this? Not to mention again, phone then reboots randomly.
The funny thing is, this phone (or any BB product) is not officially available in Turkey. So, there is no warranty. Please help me.

Error 1935; urgent help needed :(

Hello, I'm required to run a program which gives an error of something "side-by-side" and cannot start at all, and further probing reveals that the cause is something wrong with the visual c++ 2005. I've tried reinstalling .net framework,
to no avail.
I've also removed all versions of visual c++ from my computer. I'm currently stuck trying to install visual C++ 2005 sp1 redistributable package (x64) which always gives the following error:
Error 1935. An error occured during the installation of assembly 'policy.8.0.Microsoft.VC80.ATL, type="win32-policy",version="8.0.50727.762",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",procecssorArchitecture="amd64".
I've been looking for solutions online and have tried most of them only to arrive back at the same error again and again and again and again. I'm on the verge of tears as I require to run the program to proceed with my work.

Urgent help req : work item id not getting passed in the method

I have created a subtype zcats of business object CATS and delegated it .
I have created a new method Approve1 ( with attributes SYNCRONUS & DIALOG ) in zcats which is similar in coding to Approve method of CATS ( DIALOG) .
I have include the method Approve1 of business object zcats in a standard task .
The problem is that when the eorkflow gets triggered , the workitem id is not getting passed in the method APProve1 of zcats.
Can someone please help me with this .

How to find end of the Page in Crystal ? or I need to add one Horizontal line at the end of the page.--- URGENT HELP NEEDED

Do you know how many detail records are showing up per page?
If you do - you could create a Details B section that is suppressed except for on Record N (where N is a counter, and N is the last Detail record that will show up on a page).
The Page footer is indeed built so that it will be rendered at the bottom of your physical page of paper.

"rwcgi60.exe - Application Error"
"The instruction at "0x77f6754b" referenced
memory of "0x016dle18". The memory could
not be "read". Click on OK to terminate
the application".
For your info, development was by using
Javascript with Netscape 4.7 as my default
browser. Is there anything wrong with my
setting? Before this, I've been using the
same server for the past three (3) months
but nothing happen. Kindly provide some
solutions to this problem.

How do i get personas do load from the gallery? I'm hitting the button and nothing happens. When I try to add to fav I'm sent to error page. Help?

I TRYING TO CHANGE MY PERSONA (HAVE PERSONAS PLUS) EVERY TIME ON EACH PERSONA I'VE TRIED, I CLICK ON THE YELLOW BUTTON THAT SAYS -CHANGE PERSONA- THE SCREEN FLICKERS BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. IF I TRY TO ADD THE PERSONA TO MY FAVORITES FOLDER I AM SENT TO ANOTHER SITE THAT HAS A -2 ON THE SCREEN. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I AM DOING INCORRECTLY. I REALLY LIKE THIS FEATURE AND WOULD LIKE TO ADD SOME OF THE PERSONAS I LIKE BEST.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
