  • Customize SAP GUI Logon screen

    Hi,
    I have seen that some logon screens (where you enter client, user, password, language) has additional written information, like "needing a user for this system, please call xxx". My question is how and where can i define this additonal information on the SAP GUI logon screen?
    Best regards,
    Martin

    Hello, it means the system creators (for example if is IDES or trial SAP systems) or system administrators creates this information, try read how --> Note 205487 - Own text on SAPGui logon screen

  • Question about logon screen customization

    Hi,
    I have to customize the web logon screen of the BEx.
    In SICF, on the BEx service, on the Error Pages tab, System logon is checked. If i click on the Setting button I have :
    Define Service-Specific Settings
    System ID
    Language
    System Messages
    Logon and SI
    etc ... and in "Logon Layout and Procedure", Sap Impl, Netweaver and SAP Tradeshow.
    I have defined a header image in "Adjust Links and Images" and it works !
    But ... on my logon screen I have 4 fields, which 3 of them a inactive (system, users and password) and the log on button. Only the drop down menu language is active. Users and Password fields content is "Via popup".
    In order to logon myself, I have to select my language and enter in a system popup (not a web form) my login and my password. How can I change this boring sequence ? Isn't it possible to enter directly its logon and password in the first screen ?
    Thanks for your help,
    GC.

    Hello CG,
    I think you can pre-define your language, using the parameter 'BspLanguage', in the the url defined at 'Error Pages' of BEX service.
    An example:
    /sap/public/bsp/sap/system/login.htm?sap-url=<%=PATHTRANS%>&BspLanguage=EN
    You can also do other things, such pre-define the client, or show the option to change the password.
    An example:
    Run default.htm of BSP system_public, to know the parameters available.
    /sap/public/bsp/sap/system/login.htm?sap-url=<%=PATHTRANS%>&BspClient=010&BspChangePasswordVisible=X
    Kind regards.

  • Portal logon screen customization: size of branding image

    Hi Experts,
    1. the portal log on image should be changed to custom image. i replaced the branding image in D:\usr\sap\DP1\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.security.core.admin\servlet_jsp\logon\root\layout
    and cleared the cache and refreshed the screen. the new image is seen. But i placed an image over 25kb (standard branding-image.jpg) size, it is not shown. is this the standard behaviour?
    2. i would like to change the "Welcome" text, what is the best method to change.
    I changed the test in D:\usr\sap\EPD\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.security.core.admin\servlet_jsp\logon\root\WEB-INF\classes
    in <b>logonLabels_en.properties </b>file.
    3. what is the way to change "SAP Netweaver Portal Internet Explorer" on the logon screen which appears on the interenet explorer top left corner!
    i am on NW2004s SP11. EP7.0 SP11
    thanks for reading. points will be awarded for the responses.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    When you want to chane the text appering on top of Internet explorer, do following things,
    Go to System administrator-->system config -->  In detail navigation panel, find Service configuration --> open it --> Open Portal runtime --> right click on central configuration > configure>find property named <b>portal.html.head.title</b> here enter any text you want and restart the J2EE engine.
    2)You want to change "Welcome" text to say "welcome to my company", in this case you have done changes in <b>logonlables_en</b> properties, Now you have to again create the <b>umelogonbase.zip</b> file and then change the extension to <b>.jar</b> now replace this file in your<b> PAR file project in NWDS</b>, then deploy the project,
    Once this is done, In your NWDS project find <b>portalapp.xml</b> file and click on default component and <b>run</b>, see if changes are appearing..if this is successfull, then its time to change the <b>authschemes.xml</b> file.
    IF you have done with all this then please update the thread, we will proceed with authschemes file.

  • Logon Screen Customization

    Hi,
    I figured out how to change the branding image on the Portal logon / login screen.   However, none of the other images (such as the branding text) changed when I did it.  This is how I changed the branding image:
    System Admin -> Support -> Portal Runtime -> Browse Deployment -> WEB-INF-> deployment -> pcd -> com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak
    I downloaded this par, changed the images in folder "layout" then redeployed the new PAR file to overwrite the old one.  Now the branding image on the logon screen is set to the new one, but all other images remain unchanged.  Does anyone know why this is?
    Thanks!

  • Customization of Logon Screen... Question?

    Hi,
    If we want to remove the words WELCOME from the logon screen what file do we need to edit in the com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par? I've found the reference in umLogonTopArea.txt
    <td colspan="2" valign="Top" width="300" height="24" class="welcome">
          <%=logonLocale.get("xtit_WELCOME")%>
        </td>
    but I am not sure how to edit this. Any help provided would be most appreciated. Our portal environment
    is NW04 Stack 12.
    Thanks,
    Kris

    hai Kris
    hai,
    try this
    1.The text seen on the logon page is not in the JSP page, but in properties files which are called by tags like the Welcome text : <%=logonLocale.get("xtit_WELCOME")%>
    2.In order to change "Welcome" to "your company name" you have to :
    - Unzip the file umelogonbase.jar which you can find under dist\PORTAL-INF\lib
    - Find the file "logonLabels_" which contains your language;
    e.g. for german logonLabels_de.properties,
    for russian logonLabels_ru.properties or
    for English logonLabels_en.properties
    3.The default is in the file logonLabels.properties .
    - Find the key which is used in the tag (here it is xtit_WELCOME) and change
    the text after the equal sign.
    - Save the changed file and create a updated JAR file using a zip program. The
    file needs to be named umelogonbase.jar, not umelogonbase.zip or
    umelogonbase.jar.zip.
    - Put the JAR file back to dist\PORTAL-INF\lib.

    Regards,
    Jagadish Babu Kanikanti.

    Hi Jagdish,
    I have an easy solution for this..
    1. Place your new image files here:
    \J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.security.core.admin\servlet_jsp\logon\root\layout
    2) Log on to the Portal as administrator and go here:
    System Administration -> System Configuration -> UM Configuration.
    3) Click on the "Direct Editing" tab.
    4) Change the parameter:
    ume.logon.branding_image=/logon/layout/YOUR_BRANDING_IMAGE_FILE.gif
    5) Change the parameter:
    ume.logon.branding_text=/logon/layout/YOUR_TEXT_IMAGE_FILE.gif
    6) Click "Save all changes"
    7) Restart the Portal
    You're done. Your branding images should now appear in place of SAP's standard images
    Hope this helps..

  • Workspace Logon Screen Customization

    Hi Gurus,
    I am on 11.1.2.1 and attempting to add my client's logo to the logon screen. I have replaced the logon_panel.gif files in the below directors in the bpmui.war file according to http://www.orahyplabs.com/2012/01/customizing-epm-workspace-1112.html#.UFr0wY1lSMl
    bpmui_WAR\bpmstatic\themes\theme_tadpole\images_global
    bpmui_WAR\bpmstatic\themes\theme_fusionfx\images_global
    bpmui_WAR\bpmstatic\themes\theme_tadpole_hc\images_global
    Unfortunately, the client's logo is only showing up when I access Workspace or SharedServices via 28080 and not on 19000. I've restarted the system and cleared my browser's cookies but the logo has not changed on 19000.
    Is there something else I should be modifying so the logo will show up on 19000 or do I have to do a reconfigure (just leaving the ports the same)?
    Thanks in advance.
    Gerald

    We experienced the same thing.
    Solution: To remove the browser history from the command line.
    Run->cmd
    Type: RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 255
    Hope it can help you too. :-)

  • Regarding Logon screen

    Hi All,
    I would like to change the Portal Logon Screen.
    I am having two IP for my portal Intranet and Public IP.
    I would like to change the logon screen according to the IP.
    Is it possible?
    If yes, how can I achieve that?
    Thanks and regards
    Vivek.

    1.
    umLogonPage.jsp
    HttpServletRequest req = request.getServletRequest();
    req.getServerName()  will give you the server name
    So you can have include the logon pages according to the servername

  • How to display a specific SAP logon screen per system?

    Hello,
    I woud like to display a logon screen which contains system-specific information, e.g. for the QAS system it would be something like "This system was created by a system copy from PRD on MM/DD/YYYY"...
    I have gone through the SAP Note 205487 and my understanding is that I have to create the ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO in the development (changeable) system and transport it.
    Note 205487 : "Creating/changing this text requires a changeable system. Therefore, for production systems, SAP recommends maintaining the text in the upstream system and then transporting it."
    Can anyone please provide me with some hints on how to create a different logon screen for each system and apply them via transport requests?
    I prefer not to "open" the QAS system in order to create the logon screen because I would then have to "open" the productive system to create a different logon screen...
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Michel M.

  • Problem while deploying new logon screen par file via NWDS

    hi
    i have a problem with deploying .par files out of the NWDS.
    i want to change the look of the logon screen in our EP Portal (SAP NetWeaver 2004s).
    when i just import the (working one) par file into NWDS and deploy it without ANY changes i get then an error when trying to call the portal:
    instead of the logonscreen i get some IView error (like IView: N/A).
    if i just copy the par file, and put it back to the pcd, everything works fine.
    my problem seems to be the "compiling/deploying" via NWDS.
    any suggestions?
    i followed the guide:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/23/c0e240beb0702ae10000000a155106/frameset.htm
    i followed also the BLOG:
    Modifying The Logon Par(or customising the Logon Screen)
    and the help:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/23/c0e240beb0702ae10000000a155106/content.htm
    thanks for your help.
    markus

    Markus,
    If you import the par file using NWDS, most likely you wouldn't import the associated jar files (I think 2 jars) that are originally part of the par file. So, when you make changes and update your custom jar, it would lack the two jars and your application would fail. Try downloading the par file using System Administration -> Support -> PCD Administration -> Browse Deployment..
    Save the jar file on desktop and then import it to NWDS.
    Hope this helps,
    Kiran
