    Hi
    I dont think there release strategy for sales orders.
    You may use credit management functionality or delivery block.. set it in the item level or header level for the order, provide authorization to one person who can remove block.
    or Use TCode BS02 and create a status profile, maintain statuses and assign the authorisation code to the release status. You can get into details of each status and set the actions permitted for the status.

  • Changing schemas for the existing domain

    Hello! Is it possible to create a domain using one schema (in this case we've already used the "integration" env schema), but later replace it with a differenct schema for the same domain (we will need to replace this with the "produciton" env schema).
    In our use case, we've configured a base_domain with the "integration" schema and had completed all the configuration for SSL and SSO.
    In couple of months we will need to use the real "production" schema for this same environment. I am trying to understand the cleanest solution: if it's possible to just replace the schema for the domain somehow, or to create a new domain with the new production schema and complete the SSL and SSO configurations there from scratch.
    Any advice?

    Our use case is that we have just finished configuring the "production" environment. However, from the start we coudn't use the Production Database schema, since we would be having a release One of the UCM customization in this environment and it is possible that we would be reverting back to the clean instance of the server and the database after this Customization release. For that we were thinking about simply removing/switching from this old schema and using the new clean "Production Schema", which is already prepared for us for the DB admins.
    My questions is that probably I cannot simply "switch" the schema for the already existing domain, but would have to create new domain for WebLogic and configure it the same way as for the first time, plus use the default ports (16200, 7001, 443) for the new domain.
    Also, we have done the SSO and SSL configuration for the old domain. I am wondring if we would have to create a new domain, can I simply copy the configuration files for SSO (primarily the keytab file, krb5, etc.) and the certificates for SSL into the new domain, so the switch to the new domain would be seemless, besides some WebLogic reconfigurations, of course?

  • How to customize the logout page in release 2?

    In release 1 I customized the login page and the change password page using the example provided by John Riggs. Now in release 2 there is a logout page that we also need to customize. LOGIN_URL in the table WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO$ is 'UNUSED UNUSED UNUSED' by default. I assume that the third UNUSED should be changed to point to the procedure that generates the (custom) logout page.
    Which input parameters does a logout-page-procedure need to have?
    Does anyone have some example PL/SQL code?

    Thanks Malin! The note, 191345.1, seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.
    However, I just can't make it work.

  • Skin Customization in Oracle Identity Manager 11g Release 2 (11.1.2)

    I was recently tasked with branding an OIM instance to match pretty stringent branding standards. To accomplish this task, I extended the fusion theme which is provided out of the box into a new custom skin. In the example below, I took the design as far as I could, which required decently advanced css knowledge; however, even a novice web designer could easily make simple updates to the backgrounds and fonts which would also greatly enhance the user experience.
    Utilizing FireBug for Firefox, I inspected elements of the OIM interface to see which div's I needed to modify in the css file. You can edit as little or as many elements as you'd like in your custom skin; however, I'd recommend preserving the primary elements original placements to avoid confusion for users that are already used to an out of the box version of OIM.
    This is the Oracle doc I used when creating the custom skin: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/dev.1112/e27150/uicust.htm#BABJIJIA
    Notes regarding the Oracle tutorial mentioned above:
    Be sure and remove the temp directory, shut down your OIM server, upload your files, then restart your OIM server with each css modification.
    30.3.1 - Configuring Skins: 1. After you create the skin in the trinidad-skins.xml file, make a copy of the trinidad-skins.xml from the /iam-consoles-faces.war/WEB-INF/ directory to the
    oracle.iam.console.identity.sysadmin.ear/WEB-INF/ directory AND the
    oracle.iam.console.identity.self-service.ear/WEB-INF directory.
    (The doc references admin.ear: the fully qualified name of the ear is: oracle.iam.console.identity.sysadmin.ear)
    30.3.1 - Configuring Skins: Make all of your changes in the /oracle.iam.console.identity.sysadmin.ear/WEB-INF/trinidad-skins.xml file, /oracle.iam.console.identity.self-service.ear/WEB-INF/trinidad-skins.xml file, and the /iam-consoles-faces.war/WEB-INF/trinidad-skins.xml file.

  • Pick Release customization

    Hi
    We are currently running 10.7 and EDI to transfer orders to a vendor that does our shipping for us. To do this, we insert a row into so_picking_batches and run the concurrent job OESREL. Then, we execute a query that creates a flat file of orders based on the batch_id. This batch_id is stored on so_picking_headers. In the 11i release, I am unable to find where that batch_id is stored. What I need to know is, how do I know what orders where released by a particular execution of the pick release job? In 11i this concurrent job is called wshpsgl.

    Pl. refer to WSH_PICKING_BATCHES.

  • MD04 release reject problem

    Sir in MD04 when i am converting planned order to production order i am getting following message also release is rejecting :-
    No valuation variant found for valuation area AMBA
    Message no. C6015
    Diagnosis
    The system could not find a valid valuation variant for valuation area AMBA.
    If the valutaion variant is not assigned to a valuation area, this will have the following effect on the valuation of the goods receipt of the finished product:
    u2022     If the price control indicator in the material master of the finished product is S, it will lead to price differences.
    u2022     If the price control indicator in the material master of the finished product is V, the goods receipt will be regarded as a delivery free of charge.
    Procedure
    Assign a valuation variant to valuation area AMBA in the configuration menu.
    Can u please tell me in which tcode i have to do customization to overcome above error message.
    I online wait.

    Dear,
    You must  check the maintenance of "Valuation variants for order  (Transaction OPK9)", which you can also access via the Customizing path "Production --> Production orders --> Integration --> Define valuation of goods received":it may be that an assignment valuation area - valuation variant is missing."

  • How to let other users use my customization?

    Hello,
    I have a few nice dynamic pages with bind variables.
    I use the user PORTAL to customize my bind variables, but what I customize is not for other users, they see the result of the default bind variables.
    Surely there is a way to set the customization from a designer for the whole comunity. My question is how to pull that off.
    Thanks for any information in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    Arnoud M. Barth

    Hi,
    You can set customizations at the system level by clicking on the edit defaults link of the portlet. This changes the default values of the portlet. In 309 or release 1 clicking on the edit page will show you the edit defaults link on the right hand corner of the portlet. In case of 902 or release 2 each portlet has a actions icon. Clicking on that will bring you a list of actions you can perform on a portlet. You will have "Edit Defaults" link here.
    Thanks,
    Sharmila

  • Wlp10/wls10: Remote access to Portal Customization

    Hi!
    I am developing a portlet that will be used to customize some portal content in the same domain, but in a different server environment (A preview environment will be used to let users with an editor role publish some portal inventory items to the production environment).
    To do this, I am using the com.bea.netuix.application.persistence interfaces with:
                final CustomizationContext ctx = new CustomizationContext(request.getLocale(), request);
                ctx.setVisitorMode(false);
                ret.setCustomizationContext(ctx);
                final Hashtable<String, String> env = new Hashtable<String, String>();
                env.put(javax.naming.Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory");
                if (url != null) {
                    env.put(javax.naming.Context.PROVIDER_URL, url);
                    //env.put(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_AUTHENTICATION, "Simple");
                    env.put(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "weblogic");
                    env.put(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "*********");
                initialContext = new InitialContext(env);
                final PortalCustomizationManagerHome pcmh = (PortalCustomizationManagerHome) initialContext.lookup(
                         ApplicationHelper.getVersionedAppName() + "." + PortalCustomizationManagerHome.LOOKUP_NAME);
                ret.setPortalCustomizationManager(pcmh.create());
            initialContext.close()
    ...The url follows the pattern "t3://server/port"
    Invocation is
                            final PortletView doppelgaenger = deployManagerManager.getPortalCustomizationManager().getPortletView(

    Can you customize what folder MAIL goes to when adding attachments?

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether your problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
    Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
    When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
    If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click  Log in.
    *Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.  The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • How to get the Last releaser of PR ?

    Dear Expert,
    I am working on PR release Workflow.As it is Overall relase so I am using BUS2105. Depending different value and document type differen person is responsible for relasing the PR.I got the requirement that when  the last releasing authority will release the PR only then the Procurement manger should get the information to raise PO.
    I can send the information after any release but I am not able to find any way to send him after the final release.
    I found the the Field FRGKZ the release indicator of Table EBAN is gettin the Value 02, Blocked for PO.
    I tried to use this one in WF container but it is not getting the Value.
    Can Anyone help me , How I can achieve the Requirement.
    Regards
    Sony

    Hope you are using the Standard workfow WS20000077 for PR. As per the design, notification is sent to the WF Initiator after each and every release.
    Inorder to avoid this and to send notification only one time, copy the standard workflow and customize it as follows:
    1) Customize the Buiness Object BUS2105 and add a new method. use the sample code for reference.
    DATA: z_ind_task type FRGKZ.
    DATA: z_rel type FRGKZ.
    DATA: zpr like eban-banfn.
    swc_get_element container 'z_prnum' zpr.
    if sy-subrc EQ 0.
    endif.
    select FRGKZ from eban into z_ind_task where banfn = zpr.
    endselect.
    swc_set_element container 'z_ind_task' z_ind_task.
    2)  Create a background task and use the above method in the task. (to find release indicator).
    3)  Insert the task created in step 2 above the "Requisition Released" step in workflow template.
    4) put a condition step which says if the release indicator is 2 only then the "Requisiton Released" Step will be processed otherwise it wont be processed before final release and hence you can avoid multiple notifications after each release.
    Hope it gives you some idea....
    Regards,
    PR.

    Post-installation steps
    The bug fixes for bug numbers 1817550, 1830898, 1832632, 1840420, 1664594,
    1810741, 1807325, and 1819442 are not installed via the patch script
    because you must shut down your Web server prior to applying them. The
    sections that follow describe how to apply these fixes.
    JPDK.ZIP
    On the Web server where the provider is running:
    Unzip the contents of jpdk.zip into a directory (e.g., JPDK_30901).
    Shut down your Web server.
    Change your zone.properties file to include <extract
    dir>/jpdk/lib/provider.jar in the wrapper.classpath.
    If you are using Java Portal Development Kit (JPDK) samples from a
    previous release of the JPDK, update your samples using those
    included in the zip file. Refer to <extract dir>/installing.jpdk.html
    for more details.
    Restart your Web server.
    Note: Refer to <extract dir>/release.notes.html for a list of changes made
    in this release.
    wwpage.jar
    On the middle tier where the Portal listener is running:
    Shut down your Web server.
    Create a backup of your current wwpage.jar file.
    Replace /$IAS_HOME/Apac he/Jserv/servlets/wwpage.jar with the new
    wwpage.jar provided in this patch.
    Restart your Web server.
    New Parameters
    The Parallel Page Engine now accepts two new parameters in the
    zone.properties file:
    minStall is the minimum stall value allowed for a contentfetcher
    before it assumes there is a problem and times out. This value
    defaults to 120 seconds. It was added to help upgrades from
    308, which had a normal stall value of 40 seconds. The meaning
    of stall has changed slightly, raising the need for a minimum
    value.
    minTimeout is the minimum timeout that may be sent by a
    portlet. At times portlets send very small values, like 1
    second. This almost always fails, and pages are rendered
    incomplete. The minTimeout defaults to 5 seconds, but may be
    set otherwise if this is not large enough. The minTimeout is
    different from the requestTime. The requestTime is used when no
    timeout value is sent for a portlet.
    opca.jar
    Back up your current opca.jar file, which is found in the
    <IAS_HOME>/assistants/opca/ directory.
    Copy the opca.jar file provided with this patch to the
    <IAS_HOME>/assistants/opca/ directory.
    To install the Portal repository, run the launch.bat (on NT) or
    launch.sh (on Solaris) to invoke the Portal Configuration Assistant.
    Follow the steps in the configuration assistant.
    Oracle Portal Cache
    Go to Oracle MetaLink and retrieve the patch for bug number 1817550.
    Stop your Oracle HTTP Server.
    Apply the patch you downloaded from Oracle MetaLink as per the
    instructions in the README.txt file.
    Login to your system as root and delete all cache files and
    subdirectories under the directory
    <IAS_HOME>/Apache/modplsql/cache/plsql. Make sure the directory
    <IAS_HOME>/Apache/modplsql/cache/plsql is empty.
    Start your Oracle HTTP Server.

    SLOW.
    1807325 FETCHERS TIMEOUTS, AND PORTLET PRODUCED AN ERROR.
    This bug pertains to a synchronization issue in the 3.0.9
    fetching of portlet content. The Document could not be
    contacted error is randomly raised. However, it may be
    that other problems are causing this error. This bug only
    refers to the synchronization issue in which the Parallel
    Page Engine causes the problem.
    1810741 PROVIDER USER DOES NOT DETECT PUBLIC USER CORRECTLY.
    Previously, the JPDK did not correctly detect if the
    current user was logged in or accessing the portal using
    a public session. This bug also affected providers
    registered with a login frequency of PUBLIC. Failure to
    detect the logged in state of the user correctly caused
    ProviderUser.isPublicUser() to return an incorrect value
    when a provider written using JPDK release 3.0.9 was used
    with earlier releases of Oracle9iAS Portal.
    The most common symptom of thi s error is the Customize
    link being shown to public users when the provider
    definition specified that it should be hidden. A new
    username parameter has been added so the JPDK can
    correctly detect the logged in state of users while
    maintaining backwards compatibility with older versions
    of Oracle9iAS Portal.
    1811275 GROUP NAME IS REPEATED IN LIST OF GROUPS IN SPANISH,

    Oracle Portal Configuration Assistant hangs at 90% during
    the Oracle9iAS 1.0.2.2 installation.
    1819442 PROVIDE MINTIMEOUT FOR PPE TO OVERRIDE SMALLEST
    TIMEOUT(S).
    Previously, there were no minimum values for timeouts.
    The fix for this bug adds some minimum values for
    timeouts and changes the defaults such that the Parallel
    Page Engine works better without any configuration by the
    user. These changes help to prevent getting the Portlet
    could not be contacted error message.
    1830898 SSOUNLCK.SQL DOESN'T UNLOCK SSO USER ACCOUNT.
    1832632 BITMAP INDEXES IN EXPORT-IMPORT FAIL TO INSTALL ON ORACLE

    1833509 SITE MANAGER BUGS FOR CATEGORY, ITEMTYPE, FOLDERTYPE, AND
    PERSPECTIVE.
    This bug covers the following:
    Showing the category popup correctly when you hide
    categories.
    Same Banner appears more than once while rendering.
    All Item Types show up when you create Custom Item
    Types.
    All Folder Types show up when you create Custom
    Folder Types.
    No data found error occurs in perspective list of
    content area manager.
    All item types get hidden when you hide different
    item types in different content areas.
    Categories are not displayed appropriately when you
    go into content areas of default languages other
    than "us."

    Richard,
    I have just applied patch to upgrade from Portal 3.0.9 to 3.0.9.8.1 (Patch applied to loginserver and portal schema) and the External Applications that were previously set up have gone from the portlet.
    Does this relate to your note at the bottom:
    "Minor issues with Bulk action. 1840420 CUSTOM WRITTEN EXTERNAL AUTH MODULE NEED TO BE UPDATED AFTER 3.0.9 UPGRADE SSOXOID.PKB DOESN'T LOAD.
    External authentication modules that were written before 3.0.9 need to be updated after upgrading to 3.0.9. ssoauthx.pks is updated in 3.0.9 and contains additional routines that need to be implemented." ??
    If I go to the "Login Server Administration" portlet and select the link "Administer External Applications" I get a list of 5 External Applications that have previously been set up.
    If I go back to the Home Page and select "customize" on the "External Applications" portlet I get the message "Your Login Server administrator has not registered any external applications".
    Does that mean I should just run 'ssoauthx.pks' & 'ssoxoid.pkb' or do I need to do something else ??
    Thanks
    Simo

  • Customize  report for PO GR IR

    Haii SAP expert
    I have use standard sap code ME2N, ME2I and MR11 for PO GR and IR status. My user here said that standard report is hard to read.
    Is there any customize report that have been build? if there is can anyone post its in this forum
    Help-help

    Hi,
    The standard report / update funstion, is MR11. This is designed to show the individual records that have a GR/IR balance.
    As for the ME2L, M, N reports. they are very difficult to read but there is a BIG tip if you are using release 4.7 or newer.
    You can configure a flag on the "scope of list" to switch the list display to the ALV format.
    This turns these almost useless reports into a whole set of VERY useful reports (due to the ability to change the layout, filter it, add subtotals, etc. etc) and it makes it VERY much easier to pass the results to a spreadsheet due to the column type layout it provides.
    So if you are on 4.6 or earlier, then sorry, you are missing a GREAT improvement.
    If you are lucky to be on 4.7 or newer then simply get someone to set the ALV flag on the "scope of list" config.
    Then when you run your first report for the new layout, click on the multicoloured cube icon (change layout) and change the layout to whatever you want (first of all remove the subtotalling that normally comes as standard, this makes the screen lok very messy)
