Customization Source in many languages

Hello Everyone.
I'm apply a new language in EBS 11.5.
I have doubt about customization source. Do I need create one source to each language? Or can i use Oracle Manager Translation to put others languages into same source?
What does commun do in these cases?

If your customization let us say will using in Turkish language and your customization maden by english than if you want to see your customization in turkish yes you need to create customization for turkish too

XCode is Apple's official SDE (as in Software Development Environment). It is meant to be used to develop all kinds of full-fledged applications, which are organized as projects. To use it that way, you run the main XCode front end, called appropriately enough Xcode. In the older versions of the product, prior to Lion's v4.3.x, everything was found inside the /Developer folder located at the root of the boot volume. (If you ever move on to Lion, XCode 4 is now an app found in the Applications folder and there is no longer a /Developer folder.)
An alternate way to access the compilers is via command-line mode in Terminal, on traditional Unix fashion. After installing XCode, it will have set up the PATH variable to point to the appropriate directories so that gcc and its ilk are directly accessible. For instance (note that silverflash is the name of my Mac and my userid is macjuan):

Many Languages in an iOs App

Sorry for my bad English, I'm French !

The home screen is in French, and i want to translate in many languages.
But how can I get the device language ? I want to change the homescreen for an English/German iPad.
Is it possible ?

Did you try the Capabilities.language? It returns two letters code for the most common languages (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/system/Capabiliti es.html).

if you buy it in the UK, you would expect it to support your region's main languages or for Europe. for example, i am in asia-pacific region (australia) so the languages i have available to me are English, Pilipino, Tieng Viet and im guessing Japanase/chinese. so how many languages it supports depends on your region of course.
to check what languages are in your phone, goto Settings > PHone > Lanuage Settings> Phone Language (this is for S40 devices, no idea how to check in S60)

Someone who have advice for a folio production in many languages

I'm sitting right now in the planning stages for dps which will be published in at least 18 languages.
Thinking now of a multi-folio viewer where there is a folio for each language. Does anyone have a better solution?
Does anyone have any advice? maybee examples of other dps in many languages? We have a Professional Edition.
Are grateful for all tips and advice

This has come up a few times before. You can use the filter feature of DPS to apply a language to each of your different folios, and then use the filter UI in the app (or via a custom store/library) to restrict the list of issues to just the language the reader cares about.

Yes, this is something that must be included in the design phase. And if you truly have no idea how to design it, my advice would be to hire somebody who does to help you. Or, if you have plenty of time, then the Sun site is a good place to search for "internationalization". You will then find a good tutorial, and references to other resources that you can use to dig into the subject yourself.

Powerbook 15 Problems.....Reboot in many languages...

My father-in-law just bought a new Powerbook 15 and after a few weeks of using it is experiencing some problems. Every time it reboots a message comes up saying something about needing to restart the computer and it is in many languages...and it continues to come up with the same message every time I reboot. Any ideas?

MBP 17 screen freezes in middle and many languages says restart!!!

I have a Macbook Pro 17inch- bought 3 months ago. This problem just came up recently when I was watching youtube videos and browsing web. My computer just froze and a black translucent curtain comes over it and in many languages says that you need to power off your computer, and then turn it on again.
I'm not sure but this is probably happening after the last software update i did.(updated: 1 week ago, this problem occurred for about 3-4 times in this past week)
I'm glad it didn't happen when I was working on my research paper.
Any ideas mates?

It's always prudent to boot from your install disc and repair your boot disk after forcing a shut down with the power button. Also good practice to repair permissions after downloading software, although there will be many permissions that do not get repaired.

Customize one entry (value) in many languages

Hi, Do anyone know how to customize one entry (value) in 2 different languages, for example so it will appear with english text when you are logged in from UK and swedish when being logged in from sweden? Also, do anyone know how to do the same with organizational objects?

I do not know of any freeware DVD/BD authoring programs, that offer Sub-Titles.
While there may be more commercial programs available, I only know of DVD Architect, Adobe Encore (only available with Premiere Pro) and Sonic Scenarist (monsterously expensive at about US $ 50,000 for the full DVD program, and even more expensive for the BD version).
I do Sub-Titles in Encore, and it works fine. Steve has used DVD Architect, and has even written a book on that program. For other possibilities, you might want to look to CyberLink, Roxio and Nero, as they also have some authoring capabilities, but I do not know if any of their programs do Sub-Titles.

Acrobat 9 Customization Wizard - Force Installed Language

Hi,
I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Customization Wizard to generate an .MST file to install Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 silently. I've selected in the wizard to install the product in French language. But when the product is installed, it's in English. The users have to manually change the setting in the Preference menu to get the French language.
Is that a "known" bug ? Is there a workaround for it ?

first of all make sure the msi you create is indeed an English French and German installer and not just an English one.
Easiest way to check is to see the Acrobat setup file directory which should included 1031.mst 1033 and 1036 mst files as well as the Acrobat msi file.
The option you are referring to in the customization wizard only refers to the language during the installation, not the (UI) language of the installed application.
One way of installing the French version would be to use a command line pointing to the customized mst as well as the required language mst file:
msiexec /i AcroPro.msi TRANSFORMS="1036.mst;custom.mst" /qb (or /qn or whatever you like)
this will result in a french installation of Acrobat.

Linking Source and Target language PDFs with ref. points

Dear adobe folks,
I am new to this forum, so my excuses if such a topic has already been discussed. I could not find anything:
In my department, we are often handling English source and language-specific target pdfs, for example to do a review of a translation.
What I would like to achieve is to LINK these two pdf documents in such a way that when I scroll through one, the other one scrolls with it to the appropriate point.
IMHO, this should be possible with a grid of "reference points" that an automated function/tool identifies in both docs and creates links. Such reference points would be: chapter beginnings, cross references, images, anyhting that is safely identifiable in both the English pdf and the Target language pdf.
The precision rate of the grid determines how accurate the linking works, of course. But even a rough relationship would help. It could be very beneficiary to all translators, reviewers, anybody who has to compare versions or translations of the same.
Is there any technique of doing such a thing? I am not a programmer myself, but we would perhaps have this done by somebody. I do have a wee bit of programming knowledge though, to understand your answer :-)

Porting Java Sources to other languages

well, I know I might be in the wrong place with this, but since the subforum's theme is somewhat related to my question, I'll try to get an answer here.
Along with the upcoming hype around AJAX (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AJAX) I see the need for a clean and extensible code base for rapid development of GUIs.
That's why I started to port the swing-framework to JavaScript. This may sound like a stupid idea to you (specially because of the flaws a scripting language like javascript has) but it works like a charm. Classes I have ported so far are:
the javax.plaf.basic.* package
JButton
JToggleButton
JRadioButton
JmenuBar
JMenu
JMenuItem etc. pp.
Of course I had to redesign and adapt some designs from the Java-language to Javascript, like the EventQueue.
Anyway, since lots of the sources are ported 1:1 I somewhat feel unsure regarding the SUN PROPRIETARY/CONFIDENTAL license found in the sources within the javax.* and java.* packages.
So, here's my question: Am I allowed to port the sources, and if so, in which context? Am I allowed to attach an OpenSource license to the port? May Sun be interested in the port?
And if this is not the proper place to ask, could you point me to someone who could answer this question?

My guess would be that if you copy code, you're asking for trouble, and if you merely copy the API then you're probably ok. Do not use "Java" anywhere in the name of the toolkit.

Sourcing East asia language pack

My blackberry curve is from t mobile (UK). Have called them up about how to get chinese character (simplified) support and pinyin input, however, they dont have i idea where this can be sourced from, and refer me to here. Any ideas ??

I had Downloaded and Installed an OS All Language pack install it on my PC getting Thai Character and font support as well as language and input support.I think you had messed up something. Ok so let start it from begaining ,Please do exactly as mentioned :
First of all Remove any OS packages from your PC or Laptop which you had installed .
1.Locate and download the OS Pack having All Language from here and Install it in your PC or Laptop Carriers
(make sure you are downloading for the same model as you have )
2. Download and install the latest BlackBerry desktop software from here BlackBerry desktop software
Then using desktop software perform your full backup of your device.
3.Search your C: drive for Vendor.xml and delete them, there may be one or two vendor.xml ( On your Pc change your folders option to show hidden files/folders ) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
5. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For 64-bit Vista or Windows 7, the path will be C: > Program Files x86 > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double click Loader.exe.
After Installation of New OS I am sure you will the desired language.

Hi,
Copy the original layout set into temporary layout it will show all the languages.
Follow the below procedure.
1. Go to SE 71 Tcode then pass the original layout set name.
2. Go to Utilities menu then select copy from client.
         Copy from Original Layout set name
         Client to which client u want to copy
         Copy to Target Layout set Name
3. Then click on Execute button.
It will copy the existing layout into target layout set and   it will show all languages which are existing.
