Customize exported data

The submit button includes ALL the PDF's fields in the XML file it generates.  Is it possible to pick and choose the fields that are used to create this XML file?   If yes, how please?

You could also construct your own xml data in hidden fields.
This example is for making a csv file but you could do the same by building the xml structure:
this.rawValue = empSub.AeroplanNumber.rawValue + "," +
empSub.EMPLastName.rawValue + "," +
empSub.EMPFirstName.rawValue + "," +
empSub.AeroplanNumber.rawValue + "," +
areacode + "," +
phonenumber + "," +
empSub.EMPEmail.rawValue + "," +
accountSub.Client.rawValue + "-" +
accountSub.Responsibility.rawValue + "-" +
accountSub.ServiceLine.rawValue + "-" +
accountSub.Project.rawValue + "," +
privSub.Privileges.rawValue + "," +
empSub.EMPMinistry.rawValue;

  • Customize trf rules for an export data source

    Hello
    I am loading data from an ODS into another ods and cube through its 'export data source'. Now, I want to customize it by writing some routines in the mapping. I am able to write my routines in the upd rules but not in the trf rules. Why is this so? I know that the trf rules are system generated, is that why users cant edit it?
    Regards,
    Srinivas.

    Hi Atul,
    You are right , transfer rules cannot be written, though transfer structure can be appended with new fields.

  • Error: Export data missing

    while Invoice-Release to accounting I got error as "Export data missing"
    when I check I found that Foreign trade data is incomplete as per system. Also I have seen foreign trade no also in invoice foreign trade/customes view.
    I dont know why this error is coming. system is asking to complete foreign trade for which no customizations available.
    So I want to know what triggers to generate foreign trade no means why it has become essentials to provide these data?
    which master data are important to trigger foreign trade? I have not maintained anything in foreign tarde view in material master.
    Also let me know how can I resolve this problem?

    Hi Vijay,
    The note 173411 described that there are hard-coded checks for the
    listed in the note. If you choose for business reasons not to use the
    incompletion procedure, then it can be de-activated. For this, kindly
    refer to note 118573.
    Please complete the following steps:
    - create a new customer project via CMOD.
    - assign the enhancement V50EPROP (which contains the userexits) to
      the customer project.
    - place source code inside the include found in exit_saplv50e_005
      & _006, for example,
      INCLUDE ZXV50U06
           if ( i_exp_imp_flag eq 'E' ).
             clear: c_complete.
             c_complete = 'X'.
           endif.
    - generate the two new objects (exit_saplv50e_005 & _006) via
    SE37.
    - activate the project via CMOD.

  • Export data to CSV in SQL Server

    Hi,
    I am trying to write a Java JDBC program exporting data
    from the database into CSV file using SQL Server 2005 DB.
    From that query:
    String="SELECT * into OUTFILE '"+filename+'" FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' FROM table1";
    getting: "SQLException: Incorrect syntax near 'myfilename.csv'
    Yes, I put filename in single quotes. Same problem without them, but it strips out csv file extension.
    Using JTDS driver 1.2.4 on WinXP.
    Will later need to insert that into a batch process.
    What is a reason for that error? - I saw many many posts on the net, but no good explanations so far.
    So how do I fix that ?
    Is there a better way of doing it in SQL server ?
    I am a Java developer, not a DBA or Unix Sys Admin ;-)
    Please help !
    TIA,
    Oleg.

    Here is one way to do it in Java. You can customize as you like. Do a Google on how to get a DataSource (or DriverManager) connection for SqlServer. If you do not know how to get a PrintWriter, you do something like:
    PrintWriter writer = new PrintWriter(new FileOutputStream('results.csv");This will generate a generic CSV. It is probably not ideal, but should get you started.
        public final void serialize(final DataSource ds, final String sql, final PrintWriter writer)
            throws SQLException {
            Connection conn = null;
            PreparedStatement stmt = null;
            ResultSet results = null;
            try {
                conn = ds.getConnection();
                stmt = conn.prepareStatement(sql);
                results = stmt.executeQuery();
                ResultSetMetaData meta = results.getMetaData();
                int columnCount = meta.getColumnCount();
                while (results.next()) {
                    for (int current = 0; current < columnCount; current++) {
                        Object value = results.getObject(current + 1);
                        if (current > 0) {
                            writer.print(", ");
                        writer.print("\"" + (value == null ? "" : value.toString()) + "\"");
                    writer.println();
                writer.flush();
            finally {
                if (results != null) {
                    try {
                        results.close();
                    catch (SQLException e) {
                        e.printStackTrace();
                if (stmt != null) {
                    try {
                        stmt.close();
                    catch (SQLException e) {
                        e.printStackTrace();
                if (conn != null) {
                    try {
                        conn.close();
                    catch (SQLException e) {
                        e.printStackTrace();
        }My advice is to use BCP to start. The docs for the tool are here: [http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa174646(SQL.80).aspx]. You can manipulate the results in Access or Excel if you need to. Since it seems you are being thrown into an emergency and getting it fast is more important than you spending months learning additional Java API's.

  • Export data to Excel + use of xsd

    Hi,
    I'd like to export data from oracle to excel using pl/sql. These files go to subcontractors who will have to make some kind of customization to that data. I want to prevent these subcontractors from writing trash to this excelfile (writing text to a numbercolumn). As far as I know, this can be done using xml schema (supported since excel 2003).
    Is it possible to generate an excelfile using pl/sql and also include an xml-schema according to the columntype defined inside the database?
    Oracle Version is 11GR1
    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply.
    As far as my understanding of xml and xsd is correct: XML is used to transfer data to an excel-sheet. This is the data from a table/query or something like that.
    The XML Schema defines the structure of this data. Lets say you have the following table:
    create table test(
    x number
    ,y varchar2(20)
    Exporting the content of this table might result in the following excel-sheet
    x | y
    |20 | test |
    |30 | test |
    Because this excelfile is sent to a subcontractor, I can't control the data he inserts into x or y. He might insert
    x | y
    |20 | test |
    |30 | test |
    |test | 40 |
    When trying to import this table, there would be errors. Now I'll call the subcontractor telling him that he's not allowed to insert text into x. To avoid this situation, I'd like to use XML Schema. If there is another way to prevent this situation from happening, pls tell me.

  • Exporting data from a materialized view in Oracle 10g

    Can anybody tell me how to export data to a remote server and import data in that remote server without using ftp utility. Actually I want to export the data from a materialized view to the remote server and import the same in the remote server.
    If everything works well, I'll put the exporting and importing in a cronjob.
    Please let me know how can I do that if that's possible .
    Any reply would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Here is what I'm trying to do.
    I created materialized views using multiple base tables in my local server and the base tables got populated using a long process.
    Now I want to copy those data alone to some remote server since it doesn't have any base tables in it. For now, the remote server should depends on the localserver's data. I'm going to use the remote server's data for some testing purposes.
    I know it is easy to create mat.views in the remote server but it doesn't have I don't want to do that now. I just want to copy the snapshots from my local server to the remote server.
    Please let me know how to do that.
    Thanks.

  • Can not export data from form tracker

    Hi there,
         I have set up a lovely form for collecting data. It all comes into the Adobe Tracker and the Responses file fine.
         What i wish to do is export data from the responses file into another format. I should be able to do it from the Export button on the left but it is 'blanked out' and does nothing if I push it. I can't find any details on here or the internet relating to this. And yes, there is data in the file to export .
    Hoping you can help.
    Many thanks in advance.

    I have the same problem but... I created two forms for two separate purposes and have had responses to both.
    One of them allows me to export the data and the other does not.
    Does anyone out there have an answer for this seemingly random anomoly?

  • Missing export data in R/3

    Hi,
    I haven't setup customs management (i.e. not setup for proforma transfers from ECC) to GTS.
    However, I get a message when creating billing document in ECC that missing export data even though billing doc is saved.
    Do I need to do any config in ECC foreign trade
    ANy idea?
    Thanks,

    As now you using GTS for Foreign Trade acitivity you need not to maintain any detail under Foreign Trade Configuration in Feeder system.
    You will be getting this message because of the incompletion log schema activated  under  "Incompleteness Schemas for Foreign Trade Data" (Control Foreign Trade Data in MM and SD Documents). Deactivate those schema .

  • Unable to generate "Export data source" for Master data infoobject

    Hi Gurus,
    I'm in BW 3.5
    I need to generate "Export data source" for a master data info object.
    I followed below steps:
        I ticked the checkbox "Characterist. is export data source" in the master data Info object maintenance screen.
        In the Infosource area, for the desired Infoobject --> Right click --> Generate export datasource --> a dialog box displays saying "The generation of DataSource  was successful"
    Problem:
    Even after refreshing, etc.. I couldn't find the generated datasource 8**** for the above master data. I also tried to replicate the datasource from the myself source system, but couldn't find it even there. I don't know where the generated export data source is hiding ???
    Could anyone please help ????
    Thanks,
    Venkat

    Hi Venkat,
    I guess that after creating an export datasource for infoobject this DS should appear in the RSA1-Source systems - MYSELF - datasource overview (with name starting with 8). Since it's a datamart, it should appear also as system generated infosource. And in this case you would be able to assign in URs of data target the appropriate infosource (make sure that in Infoproviders tab of RSA1 you have inserted your infoobject as a data target).
    However, there are some bugs related to export data source. CHeck if you see you export data source in RSA6.
    If you don't see it - consider applying OSS Note #816892 - "30BSP26: Export DS for master data is not generated".
    Note #876845 - "30BSP29: InfoObject change: Export DataSource not adjusted" is also may be useful.

  • Export data from database table before database migration

    Hello,
    We are planning to migrate our SAP ERP 6 Ehp4/NW7.01 from Oracle 11.2 to IBM DB2 v. 9.7 database. During test migrations I have established that we spend a lot of time for one particular table (COEP). Because we donu2019t have possibility to archive this table before migration I have an idea to export data from previous years from this table to the file system (using an ABAP report), delete those data from table before migration and then after migration, import back to the database from the file system.
    Does anybody have any concerns or suggestions about this idea?
    Thank you for your answers
    Andrej

    Hello Andrej,
    I strongly do not recommend to do so.
    I am not sure whether technically this could work at all..
    Even it if would work .. In order to really save time, the export and the import would have to be a dirty one (meaning the system is operational and in production). With this there is a high risk to produce inconsistencies on this table.  And you most likely will receive no support if something unforeseen happens and you end with problems.
    Also  your approach (if it should work at all) , would have to be tested thoroughly by you , also protecting the table from any changes.
    I do not believe that this can save any effort compared to implementing advanced migration techniques like table splitting.
    On top, you would go high risk to end with an unsupported system, with not using official migration procedures

  • Unable to export data from Web Access Data Sheet in Sharepoint to local excel or access file

    Greetings and good morning.
    I'm going to start off in broad terms with this question because I'm not 100 percent sure what information to provide.
    Long story short, we've got a Web Access Data Sheet list hosted in a Sharepoint 2010 environment. It is accessed and used by multiple people throughout the day. It contains several thousand line item entries. I'd call it a large data sheet.
    I think the size of the data sheet is casuign some instability in the list. I'd like to be able to export a defined range of data from the list into a local excel or access file. After that, I'd delete the stuff on the Access list to improve performance.
    But...when I attempt to use the Sharepoint Action bar to export - Excel locks up/crashes. If I try to export to Access, I get a similar issue.
    Any ideas? Could anyone begin by telling me what other information is required?

    Hi,
    If you would like to export data from Access Web Database in SharePoint 2010, you could go to Design With Access page in Settings. The url in my environment is http://sp/tt/_layouts/accsrv/ModifyApplication.aspx . Then choose the Table and export it to Excel
    or Modify it in Access.

  • Problem with Import and Export Data Wizard

    Downloaded and installed SQL Server Express 2008 R2 today because I want to explore how Access interacts with SQL Server (using my home computer). I'm using Access 2010 (under Windows 7), so the 2008 version of SQL Server Express seemed to be the version
    to use.
    After a couple of false starts, installation appeared to go okay. After the installation. My Start menu listed Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2. The latter listed Import and Export Data (64-bit). When I clicked that, the first Import
    and Export Data Wizard page was displayed. I wasn't ready at that time to explore the wizard, so I closed it. An hour or so later I again attempted to open the Import and Export Data wizard. This time, the wizard didn't open. Instead this error message was
    displayed: "The SSIS Runtime object could not be created. Verify that DTS.dll is available and registered."
    I found DTS.dll on my computer at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn, so the file is available, but don't know whether it is registered.
    How can I correct this problem?

    First can you please post all log file errors
    >> I can't really give you a solution or specific recommendation since I did not saw this error yet myself, but on your own risk you can try:
    1. You may try to just register 'dts.dll' using regsvr32.exe, but this error may indicate a bigger problem with setup.
    If you are running SQL Server 64bit then try running this at the command prompt: %windir%\syswow64\regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\dts\binn\dts.dll"
    2. You can try reinstall from start (In this case you have to make sure that you un-install all)

  • Report script taking too long to export data

    Hello guys,
    I have a report script to export data out of a BSO cube. The cube is 200GB in size. But the exported text file is only 10MB. It takes around 40 mins to export this file.
    I have exported data of this size in less than a minute from other DBs. But this one is taking way too long for me.
    I also have a calc script for the same export but that too is taking 20 mins which is not reasonable for a 10MB export.
    Any idea why a report script could take this long? Is it due to huge size of database? Or is there a way to optimize the report script?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the input guys.
    My DATAEXPORT is taking half the time than my report script export. So yeah it is much faster but still not reasonable(20 mins for one month data) compared to other DBs that are exported very quick.
    In my calc I am just FIXING on level 0 members for most of the dimensions against the specific period, year and scenario. I have checked the conditions for an optimal report script, I think mine is just fine.
    The outline has like 15 dimensions in it and only two of them are dense. Do you think the reason might be the huge size of DB along with too many sparse Dims?
    I appreciate your help on this.
    Thanks

  • Help with exporting data from pdf form

    I have about 100 pdf forms that I created in adobe forms central and distributed as a pdf form (rather than on the web). I am trying to export the data into a spreadsheet but when I export it, the fields are all jumbled in the csv file, as in they are not in the same order. I need to export the data all together so I'm going to the forms menu and selecting "manage form data" and then selecting "merge data files into spreadsheet". I tried exporting a single file but that gave me something really weird.
    Please help, I have a deadline next week to analyze this data and can't make sense of it once it is exported to a spreadsheet.

    Would you please share your form with me and send me one of your pdf forms and some of the csv files?
    You can share your form by doing the following:
    1. Click on the “Share” icon on the bottom left corner.
    2. Click on “Add Collaborator” on the popup menu.
    3. Enter [email protected] under “People to share with”.
    4. Set subject to "Export data from pdf form"
    5. Click the “Share” button on the bottom right of the dialog.
    Thanks
