i am trying to use dual monitors when editing with FCPX. I have a macbook pro and an apple cinema display monitor. I have connected them and opened Fcpx but the option to use second monitor is not active! what do i do ? please help going bonkers!

When I try to link my Macbook to my TV, I cannot find the "Arrangement" button that would lead me to "Mirror Display". Please help!
The Arrangement tab only appears in System Preferences Displays pane if a second display is recognized by the system (the OS). So it seems like your MacBook is not seeing the TV as being connected.
Describe the video connection between MacBook and TV... What type of video out port does your MacBook model have? How is it converted to the type of port used on the TV? -

My iphone screen has turned black, phone is still on as screen shots can be taken. When home button and power button are held - no apple icon will appear. Please help??
If this iPhone has had the screen replaced previously, possibly LCD Display connector has simply come loose from the Logic Board. Possibly the LCD Display is faulty and the front screen assembly needs to be replaced. If you have Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple. This is handled by Apple with Replacement iPhone 4S.

How to get rid of new menu button on far right side of toolbar
Honestly, I don't know why developers can't offer us new features which we can use or not use, by choice. Instead, things are forced upon us.
Would someone please tell me how to get rid of the new menu button on the right side of the toolbar?
There doesn't seem to be any option to remove it via the Customize toolbars window.

Hey Hi, to apple Family.
Few days back, when i was doing some normal work on MS word, i found that i my paste option is not working.
Then i tried to use it for normal work like Moving Pics from here and there, but still found the same result.
When i try to select anything and then copy/cut anything, it got the intial action, but when i got to paste it anywhere, it won't do the action, and after checking in status bar, (above), It shows Paste option Faded, like i can't use it.
If some one from Users or any one From Apple Support can help me please do the need full done.
I have lotss of data in my Macbook, and i need to move it to somewhere else.
Please Help me.

Besides the good advice so far, might try this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.) -
My LCD Screen burned out, but the computer still works. I currently have it connected to an HDTV via, Mini DVI to VGA, VGA to VGA on the tv. Problem is, I can't get the function bar (maybe not the right term) or the bar at the bottom with all my programs on it. I get my screen saver and have managed to drag (by sheer luck since I can't see anything on my iMac screen) some of my pics I had on my desktop over, but nothing else. Please help!

you should have on your key board "mirroring key" , or F7 on old keyboard
for now your tv is an extended screen for your imac not a miror , so you can not see menue barre on top of screen

F Buttons (eg. F1, F2) have lost usual functions please help!
Bought my MacBook a few days ago and today I think I've done something inadvertently which has knocked all the shortcuts out of whack. For example, F1 has a sign on it to decrease the brightness on screen, F2 has one to increase, F3 I think is something to do with Expose and F4 has a dashboard thing on it, then F7 to F9 are various controls to fastforward/rewind things and F9,10 & 11 are sound related...however, none of these work now, they do different things and I don't know how to get them to go back to doing what I want. When I hold down the fn button they work but it's a pain because I can't turn my sound on and off otherwise, PLEASE help, I'm getting really frustrated!
Open System Preferences.
Select "Keyboard & Mouse".
Select "Keyboard".
Uncheck the box labeled "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys".
That should do it. -

As suggested by Kapil, Please check for authorization error. You can also view SU53 immediately after you enter into Planning book.
C_APO_FUN is the authorization object which has two key functions C_SELECTION and C_SELORG. User of C_SELECTION is - If user is not assigned C_SELECTION function then selection icon does not appear in Planning Book.

FACETIME MISSING
The governments in some middle eastern countries have banned Facetime and it is disabled on iphones purchased in those countries. The countries include KAS, UAE and others. There is no way to get Facetime on such phones (for example it cannot be downloaded and installed) and taking the phone to another country does not cause Facetime to reappear on such phones. In support.apple.com/kb/ts3367 it says “Note: FaceTime may not be available, or may become unavailable, on devices purchased or used in certain countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Check your device's region of purchase for more information.” -
My phone was charging and then it wouldnt turn back on and the lock button is jammed so i cant really do anything. Please help me, i havent had it for very long.
i put that i held down the home button and all that... sorry, should of made my message a little clearer hun.. but i did try that, ive been searching video's on the net trying to figure out how to fix the problem, but nothing seems to be working... ive just tried pluging the usb lead into my phone while holding the home button then connecting it to my computer to see if itunes fires up, but even that didnt work... i dont know what else to try.

How do I access content that has been backed up to iCloud? I no longer have an iphone, but I want to access the music/pictures I've stored to the cloud. When I logged in to iCloud, there was no tab or option to view content. Please help.
Without an iPhone or iPod Touch to restore the backup to, you cannot access the camera roll photos stored in the iCloud backup. Signing into the account on your computer and enabling photo stream will only allow you to access photo stream photos from the last 30 days, and any shared stream you were subscribed to.
