Customize Welcome User Email Template... Where would I find

Okay using 10.6.2 Server you can send invitations to new users. This is great and we are looking to use this rather a lot; however I need to be able to modify the email more than just the email message settings option allows me to do. We want to be able to include a logo and some other features/messages in the Welcome email beyond what seems capable. Anyone know where I would find the file .css or .rb or whatever it is.. I have searched, googled, and looked the docs at this point without any success.. Any help would be appreciated. I did manage to find the Podcast Email template previously in 10.5 Server so I am assuming this would fit along those same lines just can't find the location of it

Perhaps there REALLY ARE some valid reasons for wanting a calendar in Numbers itself... for presentation purposes, for example, or for customized printing ...
In any case I saw helpful answers here:

BTW, on my machine the built-in OS X app in the Applications folder has been called Calendar for quite a while now, not iCal.  Probably the case for most folks these days.

  • I'm running LabVIEW 8.5, so where would I find a list of compatible for certain cameras and user reviews?

    Hello All,
I'm narrowing down on my selection of cameras for my lab.
First there are two cameras from Point Gray which are:
    - Grasshopper: Grasshopper
    GRAS-14S3M/C
    - Flea2: Flea 2 FL2-14S3M/C
And the third camera is from Allied Technology:
    - Prosilica GX1910 GigE Monochrome Camera
One question is where would I find actual reviews from users who've had these cameras? Instead of referring to the website and looking at datasheets.
Will these camera run on LABVIEW 8.5/IMAQ-DX?
    Your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    HumanCondition

    Hi HumanCondition,
I just wanted to let you know that the latest version of our NI Vision Acquisition Software 2010.08 supports LabVIEW 8.5 development.  Also, if you are looking for currently supported cameras I would check out our Industrial Camera Advisor. This lists all currently supported cameras.  It appears as though we do not currently support the Grasshopper GRAS-14S3M/C or the Prosilica GX1910.  We do support the Flea2 FL2-14S3M/C cameras.  If the camera that you are needing is currently unsupported, you do have the option of generating a cameras file for that camera using our NI Camera File Generator.  This software is free to download on the Overview tab.
    Enjoy!

  • HT1495 My husband and I share an i cloud account but each have our own separate ipads. We were told this would work, but now I can't find a book that I've downloaded on my ipad anymore. Where would I find it?

My husband and I share an i cloud account but each have our own separate ipads. We were told this would work, but now I can't find a book that I've downloaded on my ipad anymore. Where would I find it?

You and your husband can share a store account and still have seperate iCloud accounts for your contacts, bookmarks and stuff like that.  Click here for instructions to make an apple account without entering a credit card.  Make sure you use a different email address for each apple account.
Set up your iPhone/iPad whatever using the new account for iCloud.  Then go into settings/store and sign in with your purchasing account, you may need to sign out of the other account.  To the best of my knowledge, your household is allowed to share purchased legally, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Once you each have your own devices set to your own accounts you can set them to backup to that account and it will keep all your contacts seperate.

  • Where would i find mail, safari bookmarks, etc?

im reinstalling maverick on another HD. where would i find my mail folder to drag and drop and also safari bookmarks? so i want have to start over compelety? thanks

One way to deal with the Safari Bookmarks is to open Safari and use the "Export Bookmarks..." item on the File menu. You can specify where to save them.
Mail is in Users > username > Library > Mail
Library is normally hidden in Finder. Use the Finder Go menu and hold down the Option key to see and click on Library. I've never tried copying the Mail folder and moving it to another machine, so there may be more to it than just the above folder.

  • Is it possible to run two different versions of Apple operating system (for ex. 10.6.8 and 10.9) on a MacBook Pro, either on the same disk or from an external hard disk? If so, where would I find the details?

Is it possible to run two different versions of Apple operating system (for ex. 10.6.8 and 10.9) on a MacBook Pro, either on the same disk or from an external hard disk? If so, where would I find the details? (In order to be able to use the older applications no longer supported in 10.9)

If you want to add a second partition to the internal drive (in Disk Utility, select the drive, then open the partition tab and just click the + button), you should first be sure that you will have enough room to accommodate whatever the second volume will be. I am currently doing this for Snow and Mountain Lion.
To get to whatever volume is not the startup disk, restart and hold down option/alt at the chime, which will bring up a selection of the two volumes. Use the left or right arrow keys to select it and then hit enter/return.

Where would I find how much space I have left on my MacBook?

Choose Computer from the Finder's Go menu, control-click the internal drive, and select Get Info. Alternatively, open any folder on it, and if needed, choose Show Status Bar from the View menu.

  • Using Apple IOS Numbers on my iPod Touch 4th gen, where would I find... ummm... let's say b200?

Using Apple IOS Numbers on my iPod Touch 4th gen,
where would I find... ummm... let's say b200??
I use the row numbers and column alphabet all the time, and yet they don't appear on the IOS5 version of Numbers.
This is kinda short-sighted, isn't it? On the desktop version they show up just by clicking on a cell.

Yeah, we in the real world call it stupid design.
I discovered a real stupid, stupid, stupid way of seeing the header columns and the row numbers. You need to select a cell, and double tap it and the keypad pops up, at the top of the keypad window is a black wide tool button-bar with "42", "a clock symbol ", a "T" and an "="  The "42" stands for numbers, stars dollar signs, ±, etc. The "Clock symbol" is to put in days, hours, minutes... that sort of thing. The "T" is for words. AND the "=" is for formulas and stuff. HOWever, when you selct the "=" the column header (ABC...etc) and the Row numerators appear! Done so you CAN select certain column and rows to include those certain cells for calculations.
What a crappy design, right? Must be an engineer without any human interface design skills whatsoever who designed THIS Numbers for ios GUI... you have to hunt through crap to find the simplest of spreadsheet information. A real human interface designer would have made it easy option (for aesthetic reasons or "save space" Hah. Save space on a spreadsheet... why do you think they call them SPREADsheets anyway?).
And while we are on the Stupid, Engineer-Minded GUI, whose idea was to make you shake your ios device to "UNDO"?  There is plenty of space where the title "Spreedsheets"  and 3 toolbar buttons are located at the top of the spreadsheet workspace for a simple ø <--(circle with a line symbol)
This Numbers for IOS needs a big retooling.

You have to update the iPad to iOS 5.
    Here are the instructions.

Or you can connect the iPad to the computer, launch iTunes. Select the iPad under the devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update

  • HT4623 Is there virus protection for the iPad?  Where would I find it?  Thankd

Is there virus protection for the iPad available?  Where would I find it please?  Thanks
    CathyJ248

There are no viruses for iOS currently.
iOS employs security features built into it-mainly sand boxing.
You can not download apps from the Internet, apps cannot make changes to the core system or system wide, apps can access data inside the app itself and a very limited set outside itself.
Sand boxing also prevents AV software from working in iOS.
You can't scan the device from the AV software because it can't access the other apps or their data.

  • I want to delete some photos of the user pictures. Where can I find them?

I want to delete some photos of the user pictures. Where can I find them?
I mean those pictures, which come on when clicking on the user-picture, here "latest".

    Unfortunately I don't speak German.
Go back to Recents (Letzte), select a picture, and then hit the delete key. Delete all that you want to. At this point the 'Done' button will be grayed out.
Click the Show All button at the top left.
Then go back to see if the user pictures were removed. It worked for me.

  • How do i authorize a computer? where would i find that info?

how do i authorize a computer? where would i find that info?

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:
