Customizing HR Administrator 1.41

We are trying to configure the HR Administrator scenario in R3 to be able to Start and Display processes in sap EP 7.0 SP6.Somebody have any manual or tutorial about it?
The Business Package we are using is HR Administrator 1.41

The Custom View / Administrative Events is a compilation of all the other event logs in the Event Viewer.
Entries in this log will be removed when the log where the event originated from is cleared.

Saving Custom Preset "Administrator Error"

Hello Everyone.
I am trying to save a Custom Preset. I have created a new folder Inside Preset Folder for my custom presets. Also, I have selected the Effect and I click on Create a new Animation Preset. I get this Error message:
You do not have a Permission to save in this folder, contact the Administrator to obtain permission.

I have tried saving the Preset in any folder, I still get the same Error. I created a custom folder in my presets and I got the error message, If i tried saving it outside the Presets folder After Effects gave me a Warning that
It would be better not to save outside the presets folder. I have Window 8.1.
As far as Permission, I don't know how to change the settings.

I noticed The Error message telling me that Do you want to save it in the Computer/C:/Users/ Username.
and If I say yes, I can save the custom preset into my username folder which is wrong.
I did go back to After Effects, and I created a new movie clip and I Browsed to my username folder and I could attach the custom preset from the user folder into my after effects video. But I want to be able to save my custom preset in my After Effects Preset folder not In my C:/Username/ User folder

I want is to have the sample NewTab from AM's samples working in both Legacy model and Realm mode. The chapter 11 Customizing the Administration Console on the AM 7.1 Developer's Guide (http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-4675/aduci?l=en&q=access+manager+7.1&a=view) is for the Legacy mode. Where do I find the one for the Realm mode? The Readme.html in the sample is for the Legacy model and parts of its information is outdated.

IStore - B2B users registration by iStore administrator

How can a iStore/CRM HTML administrator register new customer user/administrator?
We are now in R12.
In 11.5.9, via CRM HTML responsibility, we had to do the following steps in order to setup a new user account:
1/ Find the organziation and create the contact
2/ During contact creation process, there was a radio button to make the contact iStore user
3/ Enter name, contact info, user name and password for the new user.
4/ AFter the new user is created by CRM HTML Administrator, user receives email notification with username and password
5/ When new user attempts to login to the store using the login credential from the email, user will be prompted change password page
Do we have a similar functionality in R12?
If not, what is the alternate solution? no customization please
Just to be clear, basically we do not want the customers to have the ability to self-register. Therfore, sales organization would want to have complete control over the user registration.

Restrict permissions to use the groups/users/roles in User Administration

Hello gurus,
I want to find out if there is a way we can restrict permissions to use the GROUPS in User administration. We want to assign the user administration role to the users, but do not want the users to have permissions to DELETE groups from User administration page.
Please also let me know, if we can just have users use the NWA to do the user administration instead of from the Portal?

Koti is right, you need to create custom User administration role from standard role and restric the access in the custom role and assgined to the users.

I have a Dell All-in-One that I had to send in for a new motherboard. While they had it, I had them reformat it. I'm trying to put Skype back on it, but I keep getting this error message after it downloads and when it tries to install: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. None of my other programs that I've had to reinstall have caused me a bit of trouble, but Skype will not move past this error message. Any help would be appreciated.

Open Windows Event Viewer -> Custom Views -> Administrative Events. Look for the recent error messages with timestamp corresponding to Skype crash. Copy and paste here the text from the General tab.

Skype Startup Crash on Windows 7

After login sound and two seconds of loading, the Skype windows cease to respond and Skype will crash when one clicks on any Skype window. I am using Skype version 7.6.0.103. The problem began on Skype 7.2, but I uninstalled that and installed Skype 7.6.0.103. The problem persisted and I reinstalled Skype 7.6.0.103 which still did not help. How do I add a new Support Identifier to My Oracle Support?

I have one support identifier shown for my company. I need add a second but the number is not recognized. The number is correct. Is it possible to have more than 1 in My Oracle Support? Even if I delete the other identifier the new one I need to add is not found.

Hello rmoff,
Here are the steps for adding a Support identifier to your My Oracle Support (MOS) Account:
Once in MOS:
Go to More / Settings tab
Select My Account (left hand side menu)
In the Support Identifiers region, click on the Request Access button
Enter the Support Identifier you want to add. Provide a justification if need be and click the Request Access button
Your request will be sent to your Company's Customer User Administrator who will approve your request and grant you necessary privileges

Windows 7 crashing - several triggers identified with no apparent link between them

Hello,
Since over a month i'm struggling to solve another issue with my Windows 7. Normally i should have done a clean install till now, but i also want to upgrade my system in the near future so i want to re-install windows when all my new components are in place.
So what is happening is that when i try to start some applications or i insert an USB stick, windows crashes partially. I mean i can still use the computer for some applications like games or internet browsers but what has some relation with explorer wont
work anymore. Applications like peazip, malwarebytes or opening of any removable drive remain somehow stuck, with processes open which cannot be killed in task manager. If i want to restart, it will hung in the logging off phase. Only a hardware reset its
solving the problem but then everything starts again.
I restarted in Safe Mode, where everything works just fine so from here i came to the conclusion that it might be something that can be solved and a clean install might be avoided at the moment.
In Event Viewer/Custom Views/Administrative Events there are plenty of critical, errors and warnings but i cannot identify trough them which one is the root of the problems...maybe anyone here can help.

Clean Boot is used to troubleshoot the problem. Did you read that link arnavsharma provided carefully?
"What is next when I have a clean boot environment? " entry tell you how to narrow down the issue.
•If the program runs correctly, this issue is caused by application or service interferences. Follow "How to determine what is causing the issue by performing a clean boot" to determine which application or service causes the issue.
Please follow that to see if could find the culprit.

DFSN-Server ID 516 Flooding Event Log

Good Day,
Since setting up a Server 2012 server as a DFS root the Administrative Events log is getting flooded with DFSN-Server ID 516 warning events. We have multiple name spaces and we get a message for each every 15 minutes, so for our 6 name spaces
that is over 500 messages a day.
DFSN service has started performing complete refresh of metadata for namespace <DFS-Root>. This task can take time if the namespace has large number of folders and may delay namespace administration operations.
Although I found one solution on the Russian Technet forum DFSN-Server EventID 516 this disables the entire DFSN-Server
Admin log, so if there are any problems with the refresh they will not appear.
The main cause of the problem appears to be that the 516 Events have a Warning level 3 for something that should be Information level 4. There is no reason for a warning to be issued for what is a regular update process.

What bothers me is that those events mention only "started a complete refresh", but they never mention so far completing one ... weird...

If you look directly at the log, you'll see this message is quickly followed by ID 517 which states it has completed the refresh. Event 517 is an informational event, so it won't display in the default "Administrative Events" filter.
My suggestion to Microsoft: Change the severity on ID 516 to Informational. I don't believe
anyone would consider this routine refresh a warning-level concern!!
yes, you are right. sorry for super late reply, but I was swamped in company move and server upgrades, new installations, new IP phone system, new IP cams, site-to-site VPN, new faster firewall for new faster Internet link, NAT config changes ... man ...
a bit too much for a single person to manage sometimes ...
anyways, I didn't see the 517 events in "Custom Views - Administrative Events" that's why I was alerted with a flood of 516 (there is 1 every 12 minutes), can't understand why MS would drop one informational event (categorized wrongly as warning)
and not add the other one stating it was completed right after (because it's still informational only) ... I finally found the following 517's when I went to the tree of Apps and Services Logs - MS - Win - DFSN-Server - Admin ... it's kinda buried down there
very annoying it still is in end of October, especially then I am troubleshooting a non-replication conditions without any errors between two DFS servers (also DC roles installed) running 2012R2. Ended up removing DFS from secondary DC (VM actually) and
building a new DFS dedicated VM with fixed sized disks on Hyper-V 2012 R2 server, hoping it resolves the issue when replication would just stop without error creating a huge file count (and content!) mismatch over time... a flood of meaningless events in administrative
logs in not helping with troubleshooting ...

ERROR CANNOT OPEN SKYPE AT ALL

Hello, I have version of skype 6.22 and windows 7 64-bit professional (fully updated) and cannot open skype at all, the message appears is: Application Error: Exception EOIeSysError in module Skype.exe at 0012A0F1. Access is denied.
I have tried several times to unistall and install skype but no any progress.

Open Windows Event Viewer -> Custom Views -> Administrative Events. Look for the recent error messages with timestamp corresponding to Skype crash. Copy and paste here the text from the General tab.

How to save picture in SERVER ---- B1_SHR Folder

Hi Experts,
                  In my user form i have added a new picture box & browse button,using the browse button iam uploading the picture into my picturebox & saving the path in database,again in form load mode again my picture is getting loaded....everything is fine.
But only problem is when i select the jpg file from desktop it's should be default save into below SERVER path
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\B1_SHR\MyPicture1.jpg

Attachment patch and bitmap pacth can be customized in
Administration\System init...\General Settings\Path folder.
These path values are avaiable in SDK, properties of company object.
In this case at least the BitMapPath should be set to
SERVERNAME\B1_SHR\
You should copy it, by io.File.Copy command, and you can determine the system attachment pacth as ocompany.AttachMentPath or ocompany. BitMapPath
This is the answer for you question.
