Customizing incorrectly maintained

Hello all,
while creating a service PR in maintenance order while maintaining the service package I am getting the above error. Message no SE729.
Also after entring the required data under service I am getting an error 'G/L account XXXXX not created (please check your input) Message no. ME042.
Please help to resolve this query.

And how to the cost element gets copied from service master, through valuation class? How to change it?

we are using ECC 6.4 , while confirm and save the service entry sheet, system gives information message as Customizaing incorrectly maintained instead of document posted information. we are trying in somany ways but we cant solve the issue. please help me to avoid such a issue. here i am not getting any document posting information.

I think it is the same problem as I answered in this [thread|Getting a message that "Customizing incorrectly maintained";.
It is possibly a problem with definition of screen SAPLMLSP/400 (services). You will need to follow the instructions in note [1382685|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1382685]. This note references ML81N transaction but is relevant for the services screen. Check the table entries mentioned to verify and then correct if necessary.

Customizing incorrectly maintained message is appearing in service entry sheet in ML81N without showing the mat doc no. We want to get rid off this message and material document number has to appear.
When we create SES message came "Customizing incorrectly maintained" & Message no. SE729. When we release the SES then Material Document is not showing in foreground.

Reason and Prerequisites
You have recently made an upgrade
Number of entries in table T162V is different to the number of columns in table control for screen SAPLMLSP/400.
Solution
The variants maintained before and after upgrade are probably different.
Since different customers maintain different number of entries for each variant, it would not be possible to release a standard note to all customers to fix this. Moreover this cannot be fixed using the Note Assistant, the changes have to be done manually.
The entries in the Table 'T162V'(for each of the 6 variants) should always be the same as that of the columns in the table control(TC_View).
Table Control(Screen) Screen 400 SAPLMSP(TC for services ).
Below is the standard logic to verify if the customising is correct.
Determine number of lines in customizing tables
describe table t162v_tab lines lv_t162vlines.
Determine number of columns in table control
describe table tc_view-cols lines lv_tclines.
lv_tclines = 6 * lv_tclines.
Here 6 signifies the 6 variants for the TC.
if lv_t162vlines ne lv_tclines.
message s729.
endif.
Please make sure that the entries maintained in T162V are the same as the columns maintained in the Table Control (TC).
For this case, you can use SM31 transaction to maintain the same number of entries in table T162V as in TC.
Please see the attached files "SE729_A.doc" and "SE729_B.doc" for further help, that explain exactly how to check the situation and how to use SM31.
The most important thing is that you have the same number of entries in lv_t162vlines as in lv_tclines.
After all changes are made please test the behaviour again.

Issue two
The button for services selection is missing and when you want to record a new entry sheet, the system show messagge SE 729.
This is owing to the incomplete coding of the user-exit that must be performed by the user.
When the SAP enhancement SRVEDIT is not active, the call of the user-exit is not performed and the value of I_EDIT_KZ is set to 'X', and never changed.
When you activate your project, which contains the SAP enhancement, you
need to write the code of the include ZXMLUU18, so that the export parameter E_EDIT of EXIT_SAPLMLSR_001 returns a value. Without code, the parameter value will be blank, hence I_EDIT_KZ will be blank, and the end result is the [Service selection] button disappears. Time out's can also be a result.

Message "Customizing incorrectly maintained" in IW42

Hi All,
Our client system has been recently upgraded to ECC 6.0. And after that when i am executing transaction IW42, i am getting this message "Customizing incorrectly maintained". Though i am able to successfully complete and save the whole process but still this message is being displayed. I am not getting this kind of message in IW41 or IW44. I have checked configuration settings, but dint find anything missing. Has anyone encountered such type of message. Am i missing out on any configurations. Please help

when i go for control key PM03 in Maintenace order and click on ACT DAtA to see the purchase requisiton i get a message that Customizing incorrectly maintained

Check that there is a default 'unit of measure at item level' defined in MM customizing:
> External Services Management > Source Determination and Default Values
-for Client
-for Purchasing Organizations
If no unit of measure is defined for the purchasing organisation level then it must be made available at client level. If both are blank then message SE729 is issued.

I have checked all the customization, all are maintained properly.I have not maintained order and notification integration.I thought It might be because of the integration the warning message might be coming.
I have gone through the SDN related to message SE729.
But after referring to few threads I came to know its issue of updgarde,Please correct me If I am wrong.Please suggest me suitable solution to solve my problm.Any suitable note,please suggest.

Dear Sappers,
Whenever I do ML81N ,system is generating the message Customizing incorrectly maintained. Message No. SE729
I have the updated version of ECC 6.0
Whenever I try to save service entry sheet ,instead of showing the message for material document created it is showing the message customizing incorrectly maintained
I have searched all the threads related to this issue on SDN Forum .I changed my configuration according to these threads but the message is continued appearing in that particular screen
I tried the OSS Notes 1067124,1020850 but thses are not effective

Suggest to sit with ABAPER and work with going into debugging mode. Try this and hope you can trace the possible reason for the error.

Cutomizing incorrectly maintained

Dear All,
While creating an Service entry Sheet, the System is showing a message " Customizing incorrectly Maintained" Message no. SE729. I have checked all the configuration related to P.org & Client for the SES.
The system is generating the Correct SES and generating the same number for SES.Also,Same problem I have faced while making changes in the Service PO.While I run the ME21N, as the system opens the ME22N screen the same message (Customizing incorrectly Maintained) displays every time & system allows me to make the necessary changes in PO change & SES.
I have checked the Note number OSS note 1067124 - SE729. It was initially miss. I have applied the same note but still the prooblem persists.
Please revert ASAP.

I found the reason for SE729. There are 6 obsolete entries in table
T162V for the field ESLL-/SAPBOQ/CK_QTY.
These entries - as per note 1020850 are obsolete, so please delete it.

I have checked the Note number OSS note 1067124 - SE729, Initially it was miss, Then after applying this I have found that these entries are not necessary after this Note application and should obsolete. So I deleted this and my problem got solved.

Customer not maintained in sales area

when i create sales order system is throwing a error message
like
customer not maintained in sales area....
in va01, after entering sold to party i am getting this error....
what should be configuration setting for setting this right.... kindly advise

As told by Venkat, you are required to maintain the Sales Area data.
By seeing the error there is something that you are missing in Configuration.
Go to XD02 and extend your customer. You only must have created two segments. Extend the customer to sales are segment.

Not possible
Because whenever you are going to create customers /materials or conditions for a distribution channel the system is going to check the reference distribution channel in VOR1 (whether any entry is there) and will accept when there is entry there only
Similarly
Because whenever you are going to create customers /conditions for a division the system is going to check the reference division in VOR2 (whether any entry is there) and will accept when there is entry there only
Without configuring VOR1 and VOR2 creating master data is not possible
If you dont want to havecommon distribution channel or division keep the same as common
Suppose in VOR1 for 1000,10 if you have to define common distribution channel then you can maintain as Ref DC customers /materials as 10 (the same) and Ref DC for conditions as also 10 (the same)

From the error its clear that its a problem of Pricing/Euro and euro customization,drill down the error and check the analysis fo theis error,if its there.
If not,check the customer master setting,as what is the customer pricing pro.
and also check the doc.pricing pro.

Import Duties are maintained in PO as per the fixed % and assign Customs Office Vendor code to all the conditions. Also you have to maintain these duties in MIRO (LIV for Customs Invoice) as per Bill of Entry.
Following condition types to be used in MM Pricing.
JCDB IN:Basic Custom Duty
JCV1 IN : CVD
JECV IN : Ed Cess on CVD
J1CV IN : H&SECess on CVD
JEDB IN : Ed Cess on BCD
JSDB IN : H&SECess on BCD
JADC Addnl Duty of Custom
Import Process: -
1. ME21N - Create Import PO
2. MIRO - Customs Invoice
3. J1IEX - Capture Bill of Entry
4. MIGO - Goods Receipt
5. J1IEX - Post Bill of Entry
6. MIRO - LIV for Vendor Invoice
7. MIRO - LIV for Clearing Agent
Mandatorily, use a Zero % Tax Code in Import PO.
Import Duties will not come from J1ID, in J1ID only you have to mainatin material and Vendor (Customs Office and Import both) excise details.
Above all, check the Excise Defaults for CVD conditions in SPRO > LO > Tax on Goods Movement > India > Basic Settings > Mainatin Excise Deafults
