Customizing Reports In BPM Worklist

Hi all
I have a 11g BPM worklist. Inside the BPM worklist i find a Link called *"Reports"*,going into it iam able to find 5 reports which is defaulty available. Now my question is that how can i create my own reports inside BPM worklist. Where do i need to make changes to create my own reports other than these 5 default reports.
Thanks

The documentation has not been updated since early days of planning, I am not even sure if it is still valid as in my experience it is hardly ever used.
If you are version 11.1.2 then I would assume it would be the file in the planning product installation directory.
Cheers

Can I use external reporting tool (Cognos) to produce customized reports from BPM 5.7? Is it possible to query BPM DB for historical data (not BAM dashboard)?

    Hi Steve,
From memory, I think you can just use ContactCallDetail and Resource. Just look for calls where originatorType = 1 (for agent) and originatorID = resourceID of the agent. So your where clause would look something like:
    WHERE
    originatorType = 1 AND
originatorID = resourceID of the agent AND
    LEN(destinationDN) > 7
    Hope that helps.
    Cheers,

  • BPM 11g : Custom BPM Worklist Application

    Hi ,
I am trying to build a Custom BPM Worklist App using the instructions provided in
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm#CIHDAABE
The tutorial talks about building a URL similar to
    http://<soa_server>:8001/integration/worklistapp/TaskDetails?taskId=c848ca41-71ae-4852-b774-518e1354aa8e
in order to navigate to the specific task.
The above URL does not work for me. I get a 404 Error page.
Please help me to get around this issue.
    Thanks
    Rakesh

    Hi,
I also face the issue to port Worklist in JSP or portal other than using adf.
I am using SOA 11.1.1.2 and using BPEL and Human workflow. I did a complete flow from JSP ->BPEL->Human worlist. Whenever i
submit a form values in JSP, it hits BPEL and i am
getting proper message list in Human worklist and wherein i can able to assign, escalate and delegate tasks.
Now i need to customize the worklist in Weblogic Portal 10g or to JSP. My requirement now is to port the Worlist default skins to jsp or Portal.
I also gone through SOA 11g developers guide and in worklist sections but no idea how to implement.
If any body knows please advise.
    Thanks..

  • BPM worklist in custom portal server

    Hello
I have extended a domain containing soa, ucm and webcenter with the custom portal template to create a custom portal server. I am trying to integrate the bpm worklist taskflows on a page here. I have managed to get the bpm taskflows in a adf app deployed on a soa server. Most of the soa libraries are targeted to the custom portal server. The page the worklist is displayed on is only displayed to an authenticated user. the page still shows up blank. No errors.
Has anyone here managed to get this working on a custom server?
    thanks

  • Oracle BPM custom report

hi i'm new to this BPM product.
how can i create a custom report with interface like BAM ?
and i also want to add few combobox / input for the user to fill in and then can impact the report result.
e.g : i have a credit approve process. at the begin of process, user has to propose the detail of the credit(budget amount, period, income, etc)
and after that, user can generate report based on which user has most credit proposal, highest amount of the credit, most busy period, etc.
i've already tried generate a report with ADF using business control and put it in my process task flow UI, but the problem is, if i have 100 report, then i have to create 100 process & 100 taskflow UI.
looking for a best practice in generating report in BPM.

  • Customizing the BPM Worklist  removing attachment functionality

    Hi
I am still new to the BPEL but we would like to remove the attachment functionality from the BPM Worklist. We gave our users attachment functionality of our main jspx page using Frank.Nimphius solution. Hence users do not need to have the attachment functionality within the BPM worklist.

  • Task details in BPM worklist on SOA 11g could not retrieved.Experts plz adv

    Hi,
This is regarding issues when I click on the Task details on the BPM worklist 11G. I am invoking a BPEL process using custom JSP and from the custom JSP form values are
sent to BPEL and from BPEL i am invoking the Human workflow.
Tech used: BPEL 11.1.1.2, RCU 11.1.1.2.1, WLS 10.3.2 and DB 10.2.0.4
I am using one jsp named "myFlow.jsp" to call the BPEL process and i can able to get the Task in worklist but i click on "Task details" , i am getting "404 error".
Note: There was no errors when i tried with ADF autogenerated form. I can able to approve, reassign and do all operations.
I got one soultion for that, i mean i have to create another custom jsp(taskDetails.jsp) to fetch the values based on the Task Id and finally i have to give that URI in EM to fetch the details.Today i created that also but i dont know how to give the URI IN EM for the task details jsp. I am refering soa developes guide also to get the API's.
    My Ref: http://sqltech.cl/doc/oas11gR1/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm
    http://docs.tpu.ru/docs/oracle/en/owl/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_designtf.htm
    1. myFlow.jsp used - To initiate the BPEL to create a Task in worklist.(By mistake i gave this URI in EM and i am getting the same request page in the task details). Now i created another jsp which queries the task details based on the Task ID. i dont know how to give the URI in EM for this Jsp.
2.taskDetails.jsp - Used to retrive the task details based on thr Task id.
Both Jsp's are displayed below. Please advise how to fetch the task details.
worklist API provided by oracle is used to fetch only the metadata on the Task details but i have to get all the form values also in the task details that has been submitted
    by my Jsp(myFlow.jsp)
    Both are shown below,

You can set if the outcome requires comments in General section of the Human Task.

  • Ageing wise vendor  and customer report

    hi....
Where i can get ageing wise vendorĀ  and customer report?
    Thanks & Regards
    Rekha shrama

    Hello
First configure credit management & customise.
    A/R Summary
    Degree of ageing
You can set the allowed degree of ageing in Customizing for Sales, under Basic Functions ® Credit Management/Risk Management ® Credit Management ® Define Automatic Credit Control.
Under Checks in financial accounting/ old A/R summary, you can enter the permitted degree of ageing for the A/R summary, in the fíelds Permitted days and Permitted hours. Here, you can define how old the A/R summary can be, in order to be called up for a check. If the permitted degree of ageing for the A/R summary is exceeded in the credit check, then the document is blocked.
Fields allowed days and allowed hours are only available for entry if you have entered an X in field Read A/R Summary in Customizing. The path is: Accounts Receivable and Accounts ® Credit Management ® Credit Control Account ® Make basic settings for credit management.
    Updating
The A/R summary is either sent periodically (with the help of the report RFCMCRCV) from central Financial Accounting to the decentralized Sales and Distribution units according to ALE distribution model or, if an obsolete A/R summary is presented, updated for the credit check by the system per remote function.
In order that the system is burdened as little as possible, SAP recommends you stick to the following order:
Program run: Incoming payments in central FI
Program run: Distribution A/R summary from central FI to decentralized Sales and Distribution units
Program run: Renewed credit check for blocked sales documents in decentralized Sales and Distribution units
Status Management for Obsolete A/R Summary
If the A/R summary is obsolete, the credit status Credit data obsolete is set. This means that the document is blocked, and appears in the credit representativeu2019s worklist. In Customizing for Sales, in the section Automatic Credit Control, for the single, aforementioned checks, for which FI data is necessary, you can define whether a warning appears in the obsolete data, or whether a status is set.
If you are working with the A/R summary, and would like to re-process obsolete data, it is recommended that you set a status.

  • How to Enable the Oracle BPM Worklist?

    Hi!
    Newbie here.
So how do you enable the Oracle BPM Worklist?
Sure there a tutorial for this found in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e17366/chapter16.htm#BABHCICI
and in section "16.2 How to Enable the Oracle BPM Worklist" it says
"By default, Oracle BPM Worklist functionality is disabled. You can enable this functionality in AIAConfigurationProperties.xml.
To enable the Oracle BPM Worklist:
    -Access AIAConfigurationProperties.xml located in <AIA_HOME>/aia_instances/$INSTANCE_NAME/AIAMetaData/config.
-Set the EH.INVOKE.HWF property value to true.
-Reload updates to the AIAConfigurationProperties.xml file."
However upon searching for the file "AIAConfigurationProperties.xml" or even the directory "aia_instances" in our servers, I could not find them. Please help me!

If you are talking about 11g Worklist app, then you won't be able to do that, since the source code is not shipped with the product. The better way is to create the custom worklist application using the Worklist APIs. Refer to the SOA Developers Guide.
In case of 10g, you can access the source code of Worklist app, even in that case, you can do your requirement using the exposed APIs.

  • Customization of Human tasks the BPM Worklist App with ADF App

    Hi All,
We are building a custom ADF application which aims to combine several business process human tasks to a unified interface.
And how to integrate the Human Task Flow BPM Worklist to my ADF App.
    Otherthan that
To the BPM Worklist App we want to do customizations also like
1.Want to customize to apply our own custom skins to customize banner logo, title to the BPM Human Task Flow App.......
2.And based on the logged in user/role we wanted to restrict the features of the Work List App.
Say for Example should not provide the Facility to Add New Page if the logged in user is not an Admin, like wise no provision to add or modify or delete the Worklist Views like that...
How to get control the App based on User/Role
Any help or pointers would be appreciated!
I have ADF Experience from projects Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.
But, for me this is the first BPM case.
    Renuka

    Hi Renuka,
There are basically two ways to create an ADF UI for a BPM Task:
    1. Generate it from the task
    2. Create a ADF Taskflow based on Human Workflow Task
Since I tell this by heart, I might be slightly wrong in the terms.
You probably want to try the second option. It is accessible from the "New Gallery". You'll have to provide the Human Task from the BPM project, but then you can build up the ADF Taskflow by your self, based on the customizations of the rest of your application.
Should not be rocket science for someone with ADF11g experience. Since it is not my dayly job, I need to figure it out every time again ;). But I did it in the past and it wasn't so hard.

  • BPM Worklist as a Task Flow

    Hi all,
    I have a peculiar requirement.
I have a complex workflow for which i am using the BPM Worklist to show different human tasks and take requisite actions on them.
Now I have another system where i have some simple maintainances developed as ADF screens. There are approvals for these screens to.
So to route these approvals too i will push their tasks too to the BPM too.
Now, I don't want to create a custom BPM worklist. I want to use all the functionality provided by the current BPM Worklist. But there is one problem. I do not want BPM to be available as a separate web application. I want to use it as a TASKFLOW in my application. It seems it can be used in Webcenter Spaces.
But does anybody have an idea, if Work-list is available as a TaskFlow which can be used in the ADF Screens. Please help.
    Thanks,
    Neerav

  • BPM Worklist 11g

    Hi All,
Is there a way you can customize the BPM 11g worklist ?
We want to remove the worklist default options that appear at the bottom namely ---- "Comment" and "Attachment" section (we dont need it). How can these be removed ?
Also, we want tobe able to ADD more customized tabs at the top and left side of BPM worklist (in addition to existing "My Task" "Initiated Task" "Administrative Task") Is this possible ?
On the other note, we created the ADF TaskForm from HumanTask - Auto Generate. Currently we have 3 XML variables so it generated three inputText in ADF Task Form. But what if we want to add 4 th element to appear in ADF Task form that is say SelectOneChoice dropdown. How can we include dropdown in auto generate Task Form ?
    thx
    p

    Sundar,
TaskForm gets created by --- right click Human Task in BPEL ---- Auto generate TaskForm and it will autogenerate the form for XSD variables passed to Human Task.
By default, it creates ALL InputText in TaskForm for BPEL variables. I want one of the variable to be a SelectOneChoice and not InputText. How do I make that one selectonechoice and still be able to submit (bind) the submitted value to XSD variable in BPEL(After all all the values submitted from TaskForm GOES to BPEL variables for further processing.
In short, how you BIND the TaskForm SelectOneChoice OR RadioButton values to TaskFrom variables on submit. Also, can I ADD a submit commandbutton in task form ? Instead of default (Approve, Reject) I want commandbutton to submit the TaskForm values back to BPEL ?
and last question, I have 2 dates field in TaskForm --- Start and End Date. How do I make sure, user has NOT put End date value BEFORE Starrt date even before the TaskForm gets submitted ? Is there a client side (form side) validation possible ? using like javascript etc ? How can this be done ?
    thx
    p
