Customer Recon Change(FX impact) @ the time of F101.

Hi Gurus,
I had a query regarding change of Customer's recon account and the impact of FX .
After checking few threads i found that through Tcode:- F101 the amount from old recon account will be reclassed to a new GL account(Adjustment GL) and after closing again it will be reversed.The same process will continue till collection of payment aginst those old items(old recon balance).
The amounts are getting reclass from old recon to new gl (Adjustment gl)by taking the fx value which is creating problem.The user needs to transfer only the closing balance(open items) at the month end without taking the FX impact.
Please suggest what is the exact process to proceed in the above situation.
Secondly i request a tutorial for the process of "Vendor/Customer" recon change process from starting to end.
Points will be rewarded.

1. Go to FS00 -Enter the Recon accounts (Old and New) and tick the field "Ready For Input"
2. Assign the New Recon account against the Old recon account
IMG > FI > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business Transactions > Postings with Alternative Reconciliation Account > Define Alternative Reconciliation Accounts....
3. Now make a transfer posting from F-02, Dr and Cr the same customer... In the Dr Line item, change the Recon account and in the Cr Line item, do not change the same

It will be displayed in the SD (BIlling document) itself, you clikc on the VF03. The customer name and number will also appear in the SO document also Tcode VA03

The iphone 5 can only be located if connected to a data or mobile network. If in Airplane mode or switched off, it can't be found.

I am totally new to the whole mac thing and have just bought my first iMac, second hand, 27" late 2009 model, I have been trying to change everything from the previous users names to mine when I got stuck trying to change the home folder name...

I tried everything to change it but nothing would work, I seen a tutorial online on how to do it using terminal, suso, I didn't really know what I was doing but I gave it a go, entered the existing name and then entered my name, I then confirmed with password, everything seemed fine, I restarted my computer and when I booted up I had lost everything, all the apps had gone, mail, files, everything?! This mac had the full adobe 6 suite on and I'm really gutted, I had also transfer loads of things over from my pc, which are no longer there!! Is there any way to get this back? Like on a pc, running the pc from a week ago? Any help would be much appreciated as I don't really know what I'm doing, thanks

It appears that you really screwed things up. If the machine had CS 6 on it, the seller should have provided the discs and registration info. Since that machine shipped with Snow Leopard, you should start from scratch. Boot with disc one, launch Disk Utility from the Utilities menu, select the HD, erase and reformat it, then select zero out data from the security options. Once the HD is wiped clean, quit Disk Utility, and select install the operating system. Once installed and it reboots, personalize the machine to suit your needs. Once up an running, see these:

How do I use pots on my client machine to change values, from the field, on my server machine and all other client machines?

I am using Lookout 4.5, build 12, and I am having a problem concerning pots. I have data tables created for the different size sewer stations my system monitors. For each station, there are setpoints for starting and stopping of the pumps. I want to be able to change the setpoints for a station on the client file using a pot and have it change on all other machines running Lookout. I did this in 3.8 using DDE, but I don't want to use DDE anymore.
I created a pot on the client file and URL'ed it to a pot on the server. On the server I created a table with a generic member "A" named "Lead Setp" and then created a member "A1" named
"C5_1LeadSetp" then a member "A2" named "C3_1LeadSetp" and so on....
In this table I connected the generic member "A" to the Pot I created on the server, and I connected A1 to its corresponding setpoint signal coming in from the field.
On the client file I connected (in the table similar to the one on the server but with all signals for the station) the "A1" member to the setpoint signal coming in from the field, and I connected the "A" member to the Pot I created on the client file which is URL'ed to the pot on the server file.
But, when I change the value of the pot on the client file, only the pot on the server and the "A" member in the table on the server change to the value of the pot on the client. The "A1" member whose screen I am changing the values from on the client does not change! This is the last thing I have to do and my file will be completely converted to 4.0. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Jason,
If I understood your task correctly, you want to change the Setpoints on the Server DataTable using Pots from different clients. And also reflect these changes on the clients locally.
You correctly remoted the Pots on the Clients to the corresponding Pots on the Server. However, you do not need tables on your clients. All you need is Expressions on each client to the particular cell of the Clients.
So, to summarize: On the Server, the Pots write to the DataTable. And since the Pots on the Clients are remoted to these Pots on the Server, you can affect any change using these Pots. Because of the common remote source (Server Pots, i.e.) all of these Pots will always be in sync. Finally, to get the Setpoints on the Clients, just insert Expressio
ns to the Server's DataTable.
I am attaching a simple example (exmpl.zip) which does this. There are three processes -- My_Server, My_Client1, and My_Client2. I had them setup on the same machine so the paths are all process relative, but you can always change those to computer relative or absolute and move the client processes to diff machines.

How do you get a topic to open in a custom window when accessed from the index?

I right click on an index key word and open Properties. There is only one topic associated with this key word. I click on the Advanced tab, select the custom window that I created. Click OK, compile, etc.
When I try to access this topic from the index, it still opens in the default pane. When I access it from the TOC, it opens in the custom window. How can I get the topic to open in the custom window from the index?

Hello,
The link might not work in Preview (When the option to open link in new tab is checked) however it will work if you do a File>Preview page/site in Browser.
Muse Preview has only one tab and cannot open another tab/window which is why this functionality does not work in Muse Preview. but works in preview in Browser and in published site.

Why is Bookmark Favicon Changer missing from the add-ons list?

The Bookmark Favicon Changer add-on is currently installed on my browser [ESR 31.2.0] and it seems to work, although imperfectly. Yet the add-on pages (https://addons.mozilla.org/) do not list it at all, as far as I can see. What's going on?

The developer was flaunting the rules that AMO operates under. AMO cut him some slack, and provided a month warning about uploading an updated version. '''Then''' that extension was downgraded, and after warning the developer again and not getting a response from the developer Mozilla disabled the listing for that extension. All he had to do was to upload a new "fixed" version to have that extension enabled again.
Fair or unfair, the rules are the rules. Violate the rules and you're liable to be tossed out. ''I use 6 different extensions that aren't hosted at AMO; two were pulled from AMO years ago due to "new rules" similar to what this developer didn't like and the other 4 were never hosted at AMO for one reason of another.'' And at least Mozilla doesn't do like some of the App stores and restrict add-ons to being installed '''only''' from the Mozilla Add-ons website or Market Place as will soon be known. Add-on developers still have the choice to host add-ons on their own website, and users still have the choice to install add-ons from any website that they want to.
As far as "notification" goes - why would Mozilla want to do that? Mozilla didn't like a "call" the developer was using, so why should Mozilla contact users? And how would Mozilla even go about contacting users? There's no "registry" of users for each extension that is kept by Mozilla, and IMO keeping track users like that would violate each users privacy. Who wants to be tracked in that manner?

Download the "change_passwd". Follow the instruction from the plugin.
Change some files as follow:
1)Set these values in config.php:

I am not going to say that I originated this hack, but since I came up with the hack to the plugin and it works for me, and I also implemented some other functions like checking for alpha and numeric characters (since we have that set on our LDAP password policy), here you go. Just upgraded my OS from the app store, so I don't have the actual disk. What do I do if my hard drive crashes (again) and I have to reinstall the OS?

The hard drive on my computer crashed a couple of weeks ago, so I had to re-install the old OS from the CD that came with my computer almost four years ago. After dealing with all that, I decided to upgrade to OS 10.8.4 and purchased the upgrade from the app store. And then about 20 minutes later I made the realization that hey, if this happens again, I don't have an actual disc to reinstall from should my hard drive crash again. I'm planning on getting a new computer once I get my financial aid in September, but it would be just my luck that my hard drive crashes two weeks before I get that, so what should I do to make sure I don't have to re-purchase the upgraded OS?

It should be installed automatically through Software Update (ie, the App Store's Update tab), if you have Java installed. Java is not installed by default in Mountain Lion, however. If you don't have Java, you can try to open the Java Preferences app (in /Applications/Utilities) to be prompted to install it. Note, though, that the current version of Java from Apple no longer includes a web applet plug-in. If you need that, you'll need to install Java 7 from Oracle.
