CV01N Error

Hi,
We are getting the following error message while checking in and storing the Document with T-CODE -CV01N. We have check the required thing for Content repository in OAC0 and it is working fine. We are using the SAP HTTP Content Server 640.

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to create a document through CV01N and i wnat to attach it to material .
We have created some Z- Document types and the origin for the file(source) is picked up from another system.
Suddenly iam creating an error File extension type XX not allowed for work station PDF.
I can able to pickup documents from my Desktop, but when i try to pull it from the document management system by mentioning the URL it showing me the above error.
Users are able to create by specifying the URL path till last week.But this week they are facing the above problem
Can anybody have any idea of where we missing or what the error is. Suitable answers will be rewarded

Error while attaching document in cv01n

Hi,
We are attaching document in transaction cv01n,at the time of saving it gives error massege change is not allowed,but still system is saving saving that documet.can anybody suggest solution to avoid error massege.

Error CV01N and CV02N content server

Hi, we have an content server configured on aix using apache and maxdb, the configuration on OAC0 and CSADMIN are ok, but when i try archive an document on CV01N or CV02N, an error occurs: "Error while checking in and storing", on SLG1 i can see the following logs:
Connection to http://xxxxx.xxxx.xxx.xx:1090/ContentServer/Conte: Document does not contain any data
An error occurred when calling module SCMS_DOC_CREATE_FILES
Message no. 1R579
Diagnosis
Exception number 7 occurred when function module SCMS_DOC_CREATE_FILES was called with document 5333457CC61910C0E1008000AC11DD66
I tried many others apache's versions, but without sucess.
Can anyone help us?

Seems like n/w problem. Could you check the program RSHTTP80 in SE38. There you can find the reason if its mainly issue in n/w.

Uploading the document giving error in CV01n transaction

Hi All,
I created one content repository in ECC 5.0, when i was created that time it was giving the error http 401..etc. I solved it by entering the Content server Administrator username and password.
After creating the content repository, i am trying to upload the document using the transztion cv01n in xls format.It is giving the following error Error while checking in and storing: C:\Documents and Settings\Sridhar\Desktop\DailyChecking.xls Message no. 26253..
Is there any wrong in that configuration or what?
Can i have solution for this problem? Please let me know...

Hi Sridhar
The path in dc20 C://abc is the path where the temporary files wud be stored..
For example, when u double click a checked in document, it will open the file and a temporary file would be created in the path mentioned in dc20 against data carrier PC..
The path mentioned is the area where these temporary file should be stored while u process an original application file..
If u dont want any temporary files to be stored in ur desktop, simply do not put anything in the path..

ABAP Runtime Error at the time of saving of Document Through CV01N tcode

We have install seprate DMS Server for storing various documents of different module.
While saving of Document through Transaction CV01N one small screen gets pop up.Which is as follows

I am selecting above line from Kpro, then when i click on save system gives ABAP Runtime Error.

What happened?

     come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
I am not understanding why this dump is coming.
How i can come up from this issue.Pls guide me.If any customizing is required pls give the steps

There is a programming error somewhere.To get a solution quickly, do as follows:
1. Turn off all badi's, user exits and whatever you have changed in standard SAP.
2. Rerun - if it still fails - search in SAP notes for relevant notes
3. If it doesnt fail - you have an error in your own programming
4. If you are on relevant Support packages etc, send a message to SAP.

Error in CV01n

hi ppl,
Actually iam new to DMS.I have some queries like-
1) Is it necessary to have DMS server..with out DMS server cant we store the documents.
2) I have created a simple docu in cv01n ..but iam facing errors like-Network address DEFAULT of your computer is not maintained.
3)what is data carrier..i have tried to give the input as zcarrier:(..its displaying 'does not exist in TDWD table.so do i need to configure the TDWD table or its BASIS consultants work.
4) please give me the clear picture of CV01n,CV02n,CV03n steps and for keeping Material creation for req.

You can save your documents in sap server itself if you dont need to store many documents.
I think you have to maintain the path In Define data carrier typeserver front end: c:/temp like that for that error. You have to define the data carriers like server, frontend pc, vault, archive link etc in spro.
cv01n--used for creating the document
cv02n- change the document
cv03n- Display the document

Error in inserting field to CV01n

Hello Dears,
I should insert new Zfield to Tcode CV01n.
Then,
I created a new Zfield and added it to the tabel ( DRAT table ),
and want add this Zfield to the screen layout.
Program: SAPLCV110
Screen No: 102
I'm going to Layout Editor and try to change layout, but unfortunately after edit screen, some errors occur and some I/O fields hide and I can't find them into the layout and they deleted from element list.
(For Exp: : "Input/output field "DRAT-DKTXT" not defined.")
Therefore, kindly request you to guide me on this matter.

I added I/O field DART-DKTXT and other necessary fields to screen and I could activate screen.
But status of my inserted fields (And other I/O fileds like DART-DKTXT) are not correct.
For exp: in view mode (CV03n) these fields are editable.

CV01n Duplicate entry into kssk error - SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC

I am trying to create a document using cv01n transaction .Upon saving, we get the message saying 'This change is not allowed' and this is followed by an update termination saying SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC into table kssk. Any insight into this issue is well appreciated.

regarding the mentioned error message please see the SAP note 980124 and 1251623 for help. Further the report RCCLZUOB with table DRAW and class type 017 could be useful to find and correct existing classification inconsistencies.

Error with cv01n, cv02n

hi experts,
I am facing one major problem while saving the document in CV01N CV02N transactions.
when i am pressing save button it is saving the document but showing the error message at the bottom that THIS CHANGE IS NOT ALLOWED.(Message class 26, number 455). and not going to initial screen. every time i want to press stop /exit button to move back to initial screen. why this happening. this error is coming from last 4 days
please give me the solution asap.

Error message while creating Document in CV01n

Hi DMS Gurus,
I am creating Inspection Methods (Doc type Q05) in Easy Doc Mgmt System. While creating, the system is throwing error message: "Update error: table DMS_AUDITS function insert return code 4" This comes as a pop-up window in SAP Mail.
Request guidance on this issue. What mistake I am doing ? Do I have to change something in Config ? Please guide me.

Hi,
Looks like: there is some problem with the Number Range settings here. I wanted External, unchecked Number range as desired by my client. The settings I made in DC10 are:
Doc type: Q05 (Inspn Method)
Number assignment: 4 (External number assignment without number range check only)
External Number Range: AAAAAAA0000001 to ZZZZZZZZZZ999999999 (I created it)
I am still getting error message with a pop-up as express SAP Mail.
Did anything go wrong in this setting ?

please check in transaction OACT if the storage category is assigned to the correct content repository. Further please read also through notes 707568 and 833576.

Docno generation in cv01n with concatenation of 3 fields in addtiaonal tab

I am struck in my program . I got a requirement for doc number generation automatically when user gives input in cv01n. there is a standard program mcdokznr which i copied and modified as per requirement . but in t-code cv01n second screen ,second tab we have additional details (characteristic values) functional consultant created 3 fields i need to concatenate these 3 fields along with docno . how should i acheieve .
i also tried badi coiped standard badi DOCUMENT_NUMBER01 into ZDOCUMENT_NUMBER0 . in method i wrote

i need to make this concatenation because i have more tables except the subdivisions i have got each subdiv_indicator table and i have made the relationship of those indicators with the subdivisions and to recognize them properly i have chosen to concatenate charachters .just for the ease of making thing recognizable plus plz also tell me that how to refressh a sequence baecause when we delete a record form a table the sequence gets disturbed and last number still remains thatof the deleted record . how to solve this problem plz suggest.
