CWB: Task Access

Hello,
Has anyone had any luck implementing task access in CWB?
We require one of the tasks - Set Budget - to be available only to our 10 senior managers in the entire organization while other tasks (Allocate Compensation, Manager Approvals etc.) remain available to all (200+) middle and (700+) junior managers. Seems simple but we just can't get it to work.
Using "Employee Administration" we can set the task access to "Hidden" for a given manager but then we will have to perform this for over 900 managers - one by one. Ideally, we would like to hide the "Set Budget" task for everyone and then use "Employee Administration" to make it visible for the 10 senior managers.
Is that possible?

Hi SD,
This can be achieved as follows.
1. Before running the participation process, go to the plan and set the task to be hidden.
2. Process Participation Process. this will include the task as Hidden for everyone.
3. Now go to the plan administration and make the task visible for those 10 or 20 managers you wish to give access for.
The important thing to note is that the task access previleges get carried over from the plan definition to all the individual participants during the participation process. Let me know if you need any further information.
