CWMS 2.5 stuck at WebEx logo while booting

Hi,
Just deployed a CWMS 2.5 OVF template.used 250 user admin option. When I power the VM on, the booting process is stuck at the webex logo. Does not go further. Have ensured that NTP is setup correctly on the ESxi.
Attaching the console screenshot
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi,
Did you use vCenter to deploy the OVA file or you connected vSphere client to ESXi host directly?
You must use vCenter for deployment of CWMS.
Additionally, CWMS VMs must be deployed on a dedicated ESXi host per system requirements, which doesn't seem to be the case per the screen shot.
Here is some useful documentation that can help you in setting this up:

I hope this will help.

  • Apple tv freezes at apple logo while booting

My apple tv was working pretty well, then I unplugged it ti connect my iPad via Hdmi and when I back to connect my apple tv it freezes at apple logo while booting it can stay like that for hours

I don't even know if this will work...buy a USB to micro USB cable and connect the AppleTV to your computer and try doing a firmware restore. Here are the instructions from the manual:
If Apple TV still doesn’t respond:
Disconnect the power and HDMI cables from Apple TV.
Connect one end of a micro USB cable (sold separately) to the back of Apple TV, and the other end to your computer.
Open iTunes on your computer, select Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.
The problem is, I don't know if your computer will be able to talk to the AppleTV if it can't even boot. So this procedure may not work. Good luck!

  • My Macbook is stuck on Apple logo when booting up!

    Hello,
I have a Macbook Core 2 Duo that is stuck on apple logo, And I already tried inserting the mac OS x leopard disc but when I insert the disc and power up the Macbook it shows this picture down below. So if you have any answers that could solve my problem please comment down below Thanks!!!!

Note that panics at startup usually signal a hardware failure.

These are related but not identical issues. Their causes are outlined in Intel-based Mac- Startup sequence and error codes, symbols. Solutions may be found in:
A flashing question mark appears when you start your Mac
Mac OS X- Gray screen appears during startup
In most cases the problems may be caused by:
Problem with the computer's PRAM - See Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM.
Boot drive's directory has been corrupted - Repair with Disk Utility.
Critical system files are damaged or deleted - Reinstall OS X.
The disk drive is physically non-functional - Replace the hard drive.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
The main difference if you are using Lion or Mountain Lion is that you must first boot from the Recovery HD:
    Boot From The Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.

    2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed with reinstalling OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Freezing On Apple Logo While Booting Up

Hello, my name is Joseph. Purchased my Macbook Pro 13" mid 2012 in September so I have had it around two and a half months. Love it. Last night I turned it on and it then became frozen at the apple logo and spinning wheel (booting up).
I contacted support today and I believe his name was Brett was very helpful and polite, unfortunately he says I will need to re-install the OS. Thankfully I should be able to grab my important files and folders.
Out of curiosity though while going through troubleshooting steps such as trying to boot in safe mode (didn't work), Disk Utility options (didn't work), and having the background operations appear while booting I noticed an error that neither of us could identify and was repeating.
vnode validate compressed file Type4 error: 22
Can anyone explain this? I have only found one instance of this before.

    Corrupt system file.

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

  • Snow leopard in Mountain lion partition stuck on apple logo when booting. How to boot?

Hi, Im running Mountain Lion on an early 2011 macbook pro, I know it can run Snow leopard so I partitioned my HD and installed snow leopard from another mac (It was the only way to install it because ML blocked the SL install dvd). If I boot from the snow leopard partition in my macbook pro it gets stuck on the gray/apple logo screen. I can run it in HD mode into another mac so I know SL is functional, what can I do so it boots in my computer?

You have to make sure Snow Leopard is updated to 10.6.8 with the Combo update downloaded from the Apple download site. The problem you are having is either the version of SL isn't updated to 10.6.8 or it wasn't updated to tht version usingthe Combo update. The normal Software Update version only has drivers for the hardware it is being installed on and the Combo update has and installs all drivers for al Apple hardware.

  • Hangs on white screen with Apple logo while booting

I can not get my Mac Pro Quad Core to boot up. It gets to the plain white screen with the Apple logo and will not go any further. I shut down the computer and unplugged it before a bad thunderstorm. Since then I haven't gotten it to boot up just once.

The Genius Bar said it was a "blip" in the OS. I just love the technical terms Apple uses. They did a repair install of Tiger. All of my software and documents seemed to have remain safely on my computer but none of my hardware was. I had to reinstall all related software for my hardware (Apogee Ensemble and wireless keyboard and mouse).
Hope this helps you Yogafreak. I could have reinstalled the OS myself but I had already carried the heavy mac pro all through the mall so I let the pros handle it. I would have preferred some service through the phone that didn't cost $50 for 30 days.

  • Mirror front G4 stuck on apple logo on boot ?

Hi all, Friends just called to say his G4 won't boot.. it gets to the grey screen with apple logo an goes no further. He's tried re-booting. Unplugged everything .. HD etc.. still no joy. Any ideas? HD failed? logic board?
    many thanks.
    Simon

I should have said to try using Disk Utility to repair your startup disk (hard drive) as shown in Dr.Smokes repair thread first. Then try those other links.
Do everything in his link once a month and you'll keep your Mac running smooth.
    Cheers!

  • Apple Logo Stucks while boot up song is playing

So, since I found the problem, the music of the booting is hearing. BUT the screen is stuck with the Apple Logo and the "beach circle" frozen. Any problems with that?
    Please help !!!
    Thank you

Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them. Disk Utility's Disk Repair is not perfect and may not find or repair all directory issues. A stronger utility may be required to finish the job.
    After that Repair Permissions.
No need to report Permissions errors....we all get them.

  • TS3694 hi i recently updated into ios 7.0.4 now i want to fully restore my ipad to resell but when i restore it it got stuck with apple logo and progress bar with 45% completed as firware file is downloaded using ipad 4 wifi itunes 11.3.8

hi i rescently updated my ipad 4 in ios 7.0.4 and for resell purpose i want to restore my ipad via itunes but it got stuck at apple logo and progress bar of 45% completed i tried it 50 times but it stuck on that exact point for hours i cant able to restore it and had no errors it just like freezes at one point i also uses dfu mode but got stuck at same problem using windows 7 32 bits itunes 11.3.8 ipad 4 wifi please help

My iPhone 5 wouldn't start after I turned it off a few minutes after writing this. It went into recovery mode and I had no choice but to connect to iTunes on PC and restore.
I restored to factory setting first, just to validate my phone was okay. For a second consecutive iOS update, the  iPhone 5 did not update smoothly while connected to PC and iTunes - I had to retry two times before the progress bar for the update showed. (The exact same problem with the restart occured when I updated to 7.0.4.)
The good news is that I was ultimately able to restore the iPhone 5 to factory settings while running iOS 7.0.6. I did have a backup from about a month ago lying around and was able to successfully restore with that as well, so the damage done is almost negligible since I had my contacts, notes, mail, etc. backed up to iCloud.
Once I completed both restores, the sync with iTunes worked fine.

  • Toshiba Satellite p75-A7200 stuck on toshiba logo after bios change

My Toshiba Satellite p75-A7200 is stuck on toshiba logo after bios change.
entered bios fine changes from UEFI to CSM boot and now i cannot enter bios or boot past toshiba logo.
Ive tried F2 tapping and holding while powering up the laptop(tried every Fkey,DEL,ESC, with and without FN key)
    cannot re-enter bios.
Also i tried to run the bios update cd created multiple  1.50 1.40 even 1.00, it doesnt seem to read any media.
i tried holding C, FN+C and f and just about every key on the keyboard to get something to work. i had dvd as top of boot priority for a while now so i shouldnt have to try f12 or holding C before boot but i tried . it doesnt seem to read any media
i tried windows 8 install cd, Ubuntu, centos, nothing goes past toshiba logo and no errors, i dont get the non bootable device error so its seems to not be reading the dvd. (dvd does spin and make read noises) im trying to find my usb floppy drive to try a floppy version but it acts like its not reading any media.
I also pulled the HDD and all usb devices to make the dvd the only media available and with the HDD out it spins then toshiba logo then black screen with solid white  horizontal curser on top left of screen.(only happens when hdd out)
is there some type of key combination that will force a bios update or a crisis recovery mode for bios.
I also Pulled the battery for 2 solid days(battery, cmos battery, and power supply and held power button for about 10 mins while watching tx to make sure the thing was drained before the 2 day sit with no power at all.
this happened the second i changed from UEFI to CSM boot so its not a motherboard problem or anything like that because all was well before this setting change.
I already pulled the HDD and backed it up to another drive and swapped it to elimiate that.
any ideas on a secret key combo to force a bios read from dvd or usb or anythng.
or another combo that im just missing to enter bios after CSM boot.
    UPDATE
to do a crisis recovery on this laptop
1 get a usb stick and format it in fat or fat32
2 download "7zip" and install it if you dont have it.
3 download bios from toshiba website.
4 run the installer for bios but dont choose and option just close it we just want to extract the files to the location normally  c:\splnvxxx where xxx is the version number like 150
5 goto the installed locaion "c:\splnv150" or whatever number.
    6. find file os2014273a_150 or something similar. it will be an application, it will end in version number _150, and it will also have a disc image file of the same name. but we want the app.
    7. right click on it and you should have an option 7zip then extract
once extracted there is a folder now archesxxxxxx_bios_v150_win
8 copy the bios file located in archesxxxxxblahblah/X64/BIOS.fd , BIOS.fd is the bios and just copy that to a BLANK usb thumb drive that was formatted with fat or fat32.
    9. put usb into your satellite and unplug the power from it.
10 holding FN + ESC key together plug the power back in and press power button.
    11. release keys FN and ESC if all is right it will have the power button and led on from blink abut every 1 second while it searches for the bios. once its done it will reboot and you should be good to go.
if it keeps cycling with the power button then the bios is named wrong or something is not right with the usb. try reformatting it again and make sure that the bios file is the ONLY thing on the drive.

Ok a little research and digging into the bios exe downloaded from toshiba shows this has INSYDE BIOS witch should have a recovery process wich i prepared a usb stick with just the bios.fd on it found some post around toshiba forums with different models using win +B or Fn + F but neither of these worked for me to force bios update
anyone with this model know the key combo to force recovery
