CWMS dialin conference disconnect
hello i use cisco webex meeting server
but when i dial in webex
if i dial a wrong conference ID the webex will tell me i dial wrong
but if i dial a right conference ID ,the webex will disconnect...
why
Call-In Issues
Problem Users hear a reorder tone before or after the complete number is dialed.
Problem The "Your call cannot be completed as dialed" message is played by the annunciator.
Possible Cause You need to reconfigure your CUCM servers.
Solution In CUCM, go to the route pattern being used for Cisco WebEx Meetings Server, and check the configured partition. Then go to the device you are calling from and check the configured Calling Search Space. Select Call Routing > Class of Control > Calling Search Space, go to the configured calling search space and make sure it has the partition listed configured for the route pattern for Cisco WebEx Meetings Server. If the partition is set to <None> any device configured in Cisco Unified Communications Manager would be able to call Cisco WebEx Meetings Server.

i compared the logs with working and non-working meeting and i found that, in the non-working meeting after "MediaSessionAgent.set_connectivityEstablished" action "proxycall.onproxystatechanged" event is occuring
but in working meeting scenario after "MediaSessionAgent.set_connectivityEstablished" action "Mediationcall.constructor" action is occurring.
in both of the scenario the session went via my Lync edge server.
Please help

Regards MagerDid you join the conferencing from Lync phone?
Please check if you can join the conferencing from a mobile phone number.
Please check if you can dial the phone number from the conference.

Lync 2010 to Lync 2013 migration - Dialin conferencing
While migrating from Lync 2010 to Lync 2013, i have stopped all services on the Lync 2010 servers to make sure all is okay and everything is working fine with Lync 2013.
Nevertheless, when someone on Lync 2013 schedule a meeting, and someone dial one of the PSTN Dialin conference number and enter the conference ID, this scenario is not working.
If i start the Lync 2010 front end services, then the previous scenario works.
So i did something else. I have scheduled a meeting and i change the meeting options to get a new conference ID. this makes the conference work over dial in pst number while Lync 2010 services are down.
This means:
- When someone (Lync 2013 user) schedule a meeting, the default conference ID that is generated, requires the existence of Lync 2010 services for a PSTN Dial in user to connect
-When someone (Lync 2013 user) schedule a meeting and change the meeting options to get a new conference ID, then the PSTN Dial in user can connect even if all Lync 2010 services are down.
Any clue?
ammarhasayeni have found it. moving the conference directories from Lync 2010 to Lync 2013 solves the whole thing.
ammarhasayen -
today we found an issue with our Lync 2013 deployment while investigating another issue.
ok se we have/had Lync 2013 setup along with IIS ARR. All seems to be working fine.
with the exception of our Dial in page.
no matter what i do it does not work. We have a near identical setup for our other domain & they have no issues. (i copied the Bin folder from the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2013\Web Components\Dialin Page\Ext" of the working site.
then tracked it down to the "\bin\" folder. which contains the "Micrsoft.RTC.nternal.Conference,dll"
file. If i copy this into our US folder the site works as it should.
So now the kicker....our US file is the newest (5.0.8308.556) where as the other domain is "5.0.8308.301"
with that said, & with our correct version (.556) of the conference.dll file, this is the page that loads...which we can then click the link & it opens our conference page as it should.
This content cannot be displayed in a frame
To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame.
What you can try:
Open this content in a new window
So somthing is a miss, & i think it is related to the Oct CU....but have no evidence at the moment.....
any help would be greatyes, IE will shows the warning page, but then lets you click the link.
chrome shows noting. When running Debugger, chrome states:
Refused to display 'https://fepool.company.local/Dialin/Conference.aspx' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'SAMEORIGIN'..
the issue is definatley stemming from the new .dll from the CU update. as i compared it against the older version. the newer version is throwing the "X-Frame-options:
SAMEORIGIN"....
I am not sure if that is intended or not.
also i have not been able to find out what the specific purpose of the conferenceproxy.aspx file that the dialin page
uses as its default document. It appears that the page only stands to serve up the Conference.aspx page in the Iframe..
if we swap our default page to be the Conference.aspx all works as expected. -
Internal Simple URL asks for Certificate to Access Page
Hi everyone
I'm experiencing something really strange on our Lync Infrastructure.
Since some days, when People browse
https://dialin.domain.com
they are prompted with a selection of Certificates (the sip certificates stored locally).
It doesn't matter which certificate you choose. It will not work and the User receives a 403 forbidden.
But if they cancel the Window with the certificate selection, they land on the dialin page and the Certificate Tab seams ok.
Browsing
https://dialin.domain.com:4443 works right away.
If I delete ALL personal certificates on the User machine. It works too. But as soon you restart Lync, you get a new Certificate and the same window appears.
Now to the fun part:
Get-csCertificate shows me for all 3 Services the same certificate, which is ok.
IIS Settings on internal 443 and external 4443 are the same.
What could that be?Here is what the IIS Logs for dialin:
If i browse dialin.domain.com and cancel the Certificate selection:

Summary
So there is like a landing zone as I can see on the first log which is / and receives HTTP Code 500
After I cancel the Certificate selection windo it shows once again / but with HTTP Code 200
At the second try by selecting the sip certificate it’s a short log as I get a forbidden page.A
And the last try is of course directly on /dialin which redirects to /dialin/ and it gets HTTP Code 200 -

Deinstallation, reboot and reinstallation of the Web Component did not do the trick and did not help.
Thanks for your Help!
R. Wilke MCP / MCSA / MCSE / CCNAHi Rene,
How long have you have this problem?
Did that work before?
The error you provided is more related with the external dialin page.
I would like to suggest you run the command Test-CsAddressBookService to test the ability of a user to access the server that hosts the Address Book Download Web service.
Please check if you can search Lync contact by SIP address.
If you can, then you can access the address book service. It take some time to download the address book file.
Best Regards,
Lisa Zheng

Hello
Im often get the following error in the CDR_log:
Participant "No" (<<IP>>) left the conference
Disconnect reason "H.245 socket error"; Time in conference <Time> ; Participant called in; Protocol "H.323"; Media encryption status "encrypted"
Any Ideas how i can handle this Problem?
Are there any Options/ tools to check where the Problem occurs?
Is this a Problem of an endpoint, or network, system- MCU etc.?
Somtimes i got this error from external endpoints which are connecting to our mcu
Thanks in advance

The Log says that the Codec sent an "End Session Command" but the MCU says H.225 Socket Error.

SCCP: Configuring Join and Leave Tones
To configure tones to be played when parties join and leave ad hoc and meet-me conferences, perform the following steps for each tone to be configured.
SUMMARY STEPS
1. enable
2. configure terminal
3. voice class custom-cptone cptone-name
4. dualtone conference
5. frequency frequency-1 [frequency-2]
6. cadence {cycle-1-on-time cycle-1-off-time [cycle-2-on-time cycle-2-off-time] [cycle-3-on-time cycle-3-off-time] [cycle-4-on-time cycle-4-off-time]} | continuous
7. end
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmeconf.html#wp1047478
So I would try;
no dualtone conference
dualtone
To enter cp-dualtone configuration mode for specifying a custom call-progress tone, use the dualtone command in custom-cptone voice-class configuration mode. To configure the custom-cptone voice class not to detect a call-progress tone, use the no form of this command.
dualtone {busy | conference | disconnect | number-unobtainable | out-of-service | reorder | ringback}
no dualtone {busy | conference | disconnect | number-unobtainable | out-of-service | reorder | ringback}
Hope this helps!

How can I disconnect one caller from a conference call?
I am not able to disconnect one call from a conference call. I have tried everything and do not wish to end both calls, just one.
I'd love to clarify this information bdgooden. Unfortunately, your only option is to disconnect all lines. The other parties on the phone call can disconnect the line to end the call, but you only have the option of disconnecting all calls or waiting for the other party to end.
Thank you,

Conference Call Disconnects At Same Point Every Time
Each time I make a conference call on my iPhone, it disconnects after no more than 15 minutes. It just hangs up. I'm not sure what happens. I don't have any other problems with it. Is anyone else having this problem when making a conference call?
My husband has been experiencing the same problem. I wonder if there is a standard time-out because it always seems to be after 15 minutes.

MCU Ad Hoc Conference Auto-Disconnect
Dear all,
Is it possible to disconnect all remaning participants from a multiway-created ad hoc conference after person, who create, leave the conference?
Scenario is a person create a multiway conference between 3 conference rooms and after a while leave conference.
I need to auto disconnect other 2 participants.
Is it possible?
Used MCU : 5310 - version 4.4(3.67)
Best Regards,
MesutMesut,
The only way you could do this is by associating the conference creator as the chairperson and the additional participants as guests. Distinguishing between Chairperson and Guests in multiway is not possible.
If you add Conductor this may be possible in the next version with the use of different PINs for chairperson and guests.

Starkey Halo - Disconnecting from Conference Calls?
I use my Starkey Halo i110's as my telephone headset. (It's the only way I can understand others on the phone.)
I work from home. I use our company's conference calling provider extensively; sometimes 5-6 times a day or more. Occasionally, I will get dropped from a conference call. The conference calling host sees a normal call disconnect from Verizon Wireless (my wireless provider). Their carrier (AT&T) also sees a normal call disconnect from Verizon. Verizon sees a disconnect, but upstream from them. Verizon also claims that I am at the edge of service which I would dispute. There aren't many places in Central Florida where you can avoid seeing a cell tower. I am just SE of Tampa, about 20 miles as the crow flies from the airport.
I have tested with both an iPhone 5C and 5S, both with Verizon Wireless. I have had conference calls get dropped on both phones. In 3+ years, I have had no other dropped cell calls. Only the conference calls get dropped. I have had the dropped calls with the last version (or 2?) of iOS 7 and with iOS 8.0 and iOS 8.0.2.
The problem started about when I started wearing the Halos. That's been nearly four months now and it just occurred to me today that the Halos could be a significant part of the problem (I never claimed to be smart or quick....).
Do any other iPhone & Starkey users experience any dropped calls?I received a reply fro Starkey tech support that told me the Halos couldn't issue an "end call" command. Consequently, the problem is not with the Halos.
I am relieved. -
Problem disconnecting a participant in call waiting and conference calls.
I have a Z10 running 10.3.2 on Verizon. I have not found a way to hang up on one caller in a call waiting or conference call without disconnecting all calls. The only option the screen offers is the end call button. I can switch between callers and merge calls just fine but if I try to end one of those calls, it will disconnect all participants and end the call completely. Does anybody have a solution to this?
Ok. So I completely forgot about this until the flag I put on the problem came up.
So it is working now and as you suggested I called Telusand they "pushed" the SIM and refreshed the switch "in the back". Have no clue what either of those actions entails the critical item being that it now works.
Thanks -
CWMS - version 2.0
I have a 2 different customers (or prospects) who are unable to launch into a WebEx web session. As these are potential customer our ability to troubleshoot with them is limited. Heres what we find:
. Using Windows OS (version unknown)
They were using IE as well as Google Chrome during our test (versions unknown)
We did verify that they were capable of reaching the internet
After launching the "join meeting" URL, the end user had several errors (as we tried to launch in Google Chrome as well as IE):
Setup unsuccessful, error 104, error 103, run a temporary application, setup unsuccessful
Any help or direction would be appreciated!
Thank you,
RCI read that the cloud offering of WebEx (WBS28, WBS29) offers a TFS (Temporary File Solution) which is designed for participants in a locked down Windows environment - to join a WebEx meeting (without administrator rights).
Does the "CWMS" version 2.0 or version 2.5 support TFS?
Thank you,
Ray Capriolo

IMovie Theater video length limit
Why does iMovie Theater limits you to a 15 minute max video length? Most of my home movies are around 20 to thirty minutes. Seems silly to limit the video to such a short length if you are paying for the iCloud storage for your video.
