Cycle count report issues

Hi all,
Please tell me What the table (LINK-Inventory document headerr in WM and LINV-inventory data per Quant) fields
LINK-IVNUM - Number of system inventory record - ??
LINV-LQNUM- Quant - ??
Any suggestions welcome,

execute transaction SE11, enter table name e.g. LINV, click display.
You get an overview of all table fields.
Double click the name in field data element, another screen opens that shows the detail of the data element, click the button documentation there to get info for what this field is used.

Sorry I never responded. It's really just a matter of what you need to report on. ISEG has all the basic information you need like plant, material, sloc, etc... so the other tables invovled is really a case by case type of thing. I can't think of much else you would really need for generic cycle count reporting.
Also, the previous post is a good method depending on your needs. If showing difference postings and whatnot is suitable, then go with the movement type. But if you need to dig deeper into it by showing system/counted quantities as well as the difference, then the custom extractor would be the way to go. For me, I did inventory accuracy/cycle counting type of reporting that needed to consider the actual quantities, as a difference of 2 units on an inventory of 100,000 units is a lot different that 2 units difference on a balance of 100 units. But that was just my case is all.

What does the field Inconsistent mean for ABC Analysis for Cycle Counting report

What does column "Inconsistent" mean for report ABC Analysis for Cycle Counting (T-code MIBC)? The reason I'm asking is because I see TotalStock values greater than 0, but the Accounting 1 view for Material Master and MMBE both show zero stock. I do not understand why TotalStock in the report does not show zero. Can anyone explain how this can happen?
Note: the report is run for consumption/usage date range.

Hi,
MBEW table and MMBE transaction will show the current stock. When you run MIBC report for consumption, the system considers the consumption for the date range given (from MVER table), which may not be equal to the current stock. Refer the KBA: 1817237 - Stock quantities and stock values in MIBC which explains the system design.

MIBC - ABC Analysis for Cycle Counting -Report : RMCBIN00

Hi All,
We are trying to have our CC inventory indicators updated by using report RMCBIN00. We noticed that if a have a part with a very high value it is most likely to get indicator A even though the demand for that part is not as high as for a part with a very low price but that we sell thousands. Can some explain how can we use this report in such a way that considers demand? Thanks for your help.

A cycle count indicator A or B or C or D is allocated to material in the material master based on either consumption value (consumption X rate) or forecast value (forecast quantity X rate). You can also specify whether this analysis is to consider only the materials with cycle counting indicator or all materials. The cycle counting indicator in the material master records can be updated automatically by this program.

Physical Inventory & Cycle counting report

Hi,
Would like to reports on Physical Inventory & cycle counting.
Also would like to know a comparitive report which should show before & after Physical Inventory alsong with Qty & values per plant & material.
Will be pleased if I could have at IM level & WM level also.

Hi,
1. You can use T CODE- MI23 -Display Physically inventory data for material.
2. You can use T CODE- MB59 -Give material code/plant code/Mov Type 701-702/Posting period -Execute (F8) >> Click on current display variant button (Ctrl+F) for selection "Amt.in loc.cur".

we created a custom report that is the best solution.

Cycle Count Reservation Issue in Item Supply/Demand Form

Hi
Few of the inventory items are stuck with Cycle Count Reservation in Item Supply/Demand Form. The Identifier field is empty. It is not tied to any sales order or PO . I checked the On hand quantity(on-hand quantity form) and the current on hand (Item Supply/Demand form) both are same. Could not able to figureout what went wrong and how the cycle count reservations are created. Even after performing the Cycle counting on these items, it did not consumed these reservations and releaved those reservations.
Could anyone suggest me please in what scenrios we get this issue and how to eliminate these records from the Item Supply/Demand Form. we are on 11.5.10.2 INV and WMS RUP4.

CC reservations can be triggered by Curtail (Short) picks on mobile gun. When this happens the ATR qty gets decremented by this Qty by putting a CC reservation.
This can also be deleted from front end by changing the demand source to acc/acc alias, save and then delete.

how can i calculate above rquirements?
I have LINK , LINV , LINP , MSEG , MSKPF TABLES but not getting fields exactly to use.

MacBook Pro 2011: Inconsistent cycle count for battery

hi folks,
i observed some strange behavior of the cycle count reported by the system.
when i got the machine the count was at one.
after loding the system twice the count was already at 6 cycles. (i really attached the power cord only twice and the system got continuous power. once i observed the the cycle counts changed while being on battery).
did anybody observed that behavior as well?

The way the cycle count work is by percentage... eg if the computer runs on battery it has a 100% charge when full. If you discharge it 20% consider that 0.2 of a cycle count, these small percentages do add up. Now if you keep your computer plugged in all the time and you are experiencing these weird cycle counts and honestly have kept the adapter plugged in ALL the time, then please try to do a SMC reset (Shutdown the computer and make sure the charger is plugge in. Hold down the left shift key, the left control key and the left option key. Once those are held down press the power button, release the power button then the keys. Wait 5 seconds and boot up the machine.) If you are still having issues please call 1-800-APL-CARE... Apple is investigating strange hardware issues and the engineers would like to take a look at your computer.

Running a cycle count by period. Cycle count was established to start on 27-Aug-07. Created the Perform full cycle count (Report Set) which runs every month...however in September the auto schedule in the cycle count form has the next date as 24-Sep-07 yet the report set which is set to run monthly will run on the 27-Sep-07...and this disconnect will continue month after month. Did I miss something obvious in set up or is there no way to have the report set in synch with auto schedule on the cycle count?

You are not connected to the user that started the database. Please verify the owner of the database processes. You can use the ipcs utility if on linux/unix to verify the owner. Please also verify the owner and permissions of the 'oracle' binary under the RDBMS Oracle Home bin directory to verify that it has the proper owner and permissions. This file should have the suid bit set in its permissions and must be owned by the proper group as well. It should appear something similar to this:
-rwsr-s--x 1 orahelp dba 96735691 Jun 17 2009 oracle
You can find the proper group by examining the 'config.c' file under the RDBMS Oracle Home rdbms/lib directory. It should look as follows:

Inventory - Cycle count history

Hi,
I wanted to know is there a form/report, which can show the details of the historical cycle count Runs?
i.e. if we schedule to the cycle count eg. every week, is it possible to see what all items are counted 3weeks back run?

Cycle count listing Report not generating out put

Hi Team ,
We are into 11.5.10.2 , We have set Auto schedule to weekly in cycle counts and cycle count is not generating output for cycle count listing in Production.
But, we are able to generate report output in Test instance and unable to generate in Production . We tried testing with same login in Production and Test Instance .

Also please confirm that the CC calendar and other CC related setups are exactly same from the PROD and TEST instances.
Also make sure that you are running the report for the same INV org.. as there is no Input parameter for the Org in the report input but it picks from the MFG_ORG_ID profile value, which gets assigned when you loginto the responsibility.. You can confirm the selection by Chane Instance Org and select the Inv org and then run the report..
