Cycle count T code LX 17

Hello Gurus
In the Inventory cycle process when I am executing T code LX 17 For viewing the inventory differences , it is showing me the Relative difference in % between the quantity counted and the book amount in the inventory procedure. Now what I would like to see is the Difference in Dollar amounts. Is there a way we can do, by which we can see inventory differences by dollar amounts and not by %.
I am entering following details in LX17 screen
Warehouse number
storage type
Storage bin
I would really appreciate if someone can look into it and give me some valuable suggestions.
Thanks
Regards
Nishant

Hi Vineet
I tried changing the Output format by applying a filter and then saving the format but after executing the transaction again the system shows no data available.Well that surprises me because with the same inputs I am able to default format but not the new one.
Moreover would it possible to see difference between Putaway Qty & Available Qty( After the cycle count). I tried using LX23 but again It shows no data available.
Thanks
Nishant

  • What does the field Inconsistent mean for ABC Analysis for Cycle Counting report

What does column "Inconsistent" mean for report ABC Analysis for Cycle Counting (T-code MIBC)?  The reason I'm asking is because I see TotalStock values greater than 0, but the Accounting 1 view for Material Master and MMBE both show zero stock.  I do not understand why TotalStock in the report does not show zero.  Can anyone explain how this can happen?
Note: the report is run for consumption/usage date range.
    Thank you,
    Doug

    Hi,
MBEW table and MMBE transaction will show the current stock. When you run MIBC report for consumption, the system considers the consumption for the date range given (from MVER table), which may not be equal to the current stock. Refer the KBA:  1817237 - Stock quantities and stock values in MIBC  which explains the system design.

  • What is T-code to cancel physical inventory document for cycle count MICN?

    HI
Please advice me what is T-code and step to cancel physical inventory document for cycle count MICN?

There is no way to Cancel the Cycle count document. however you can click on 0 count so that it wont post any new entry on the cycle count.

  • Cycle count Process - T code MI04

    Hi all,
I am having a doubt in cycle count process.
I have created some CC document using MI01. When I go to MI04 to enter actual count; I could see that some of the line itmes are non editable. One observation is that; column ZC (Zero count) against non editable material is set as clicked.
what does it mean to have ZC (Zero count)indicator clicked.
also even there are some material in same documents for which available quantity in SAP is zero; still they are editable and ZC indicator is not marked.
    kindly guide.
    regards,
    Parshuram

Someone must have entered the ZC.
Quantity field cannot contain 0. SAP does not consider it as an entry. Hence if you find that there is no stock for an item, you select ZC (to signify 0 stock) since you cannot enter 0 in quantity.
    Hope this answers,

  • Cycle Counting

    Hi
Is Cycle counting inventory process used only in Warehouse Management ?
Can't we use this for std MM ?
    Regards,
    A

    Hi There
Ref the below link for the Detail config process,,
    http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/MMIM/MMIM.pdf
In Transaction Mi01,  if you create the PI document, you have to enter the material one by one or you have to copy from the list of material and paste it to create the PI, it is burden for the user,,
In MICN, based on the last count or to be counted materials automatically picked for the PI doc creation, thats the reason we have t code MICN.
    Hope it clears
    Thanks

  • Status field in Cycle count

    Hi all,
Is it possible to involve the "status field" of the meterial in Cycle count procvess. Here the client need is to count the material at material status level.
If this possible, please let me know the t-codes / Process flow.
    thanks & regards
    Chaitanya Rayaprolu

Explain what your  status is and what it controls, and where you maintain it.
In general SAP materials can have material statuses to control business.
However these statuses are not visible in a phyiscal inventory document or in its selection screen.
you have to modify screens, programs and forms to make such status visible for physical inventory.

  • How does cycle count recommendation works.

I setup my cycle count codes as well as assigning them to the item master, when I run cycle count recommendations there are lots of items need to be counted. Here are my questions
    1.     Where do I go to enter the new counts?
    2.     When I enter the count do I enter the difference or what I counted?
    3.     When Do I flag the items counted on cycle count recommendation screen?
    4.     When I am doing cycle counting some transactions could take place at the same time how does system takes care of that so I do not over count or under count?
    5.     Can I get a report of all items which I flagged as counted regardless of qty on hand or not? I need this data for cycle count analysis.
I have the documentation from SAP but I cannot see these steps.
    Thank You

Your question is too long. One question for one thread. This is forum rule. Although it can still belong to one big question, it is better spitted to more.
    For first 2 questions:
    1. Where do I go to enter the new counts?
Go to: Inventory -> Inventory Transactions -> Initial Quantities, Inventory Tracking & Inventory Posting
    2. When I enter the count do I enter the difference or what I counted?
    Enter what your counted.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • A question about ABC analysis for Cycle counting

    Hello expert,
What is  RMCBIN00  used for? Currently, user asked me if we can copy  RMCBIN00 and perform ABC analysis by quantity? I have no knowledge about it. Can any expert give some clue?
    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards, Johnny

    Hi
RMCBIN00 is a standard ABAP report available within your SAP system (depending on your version and release level). Below is the standard documentation available for this report and a few details of other objects it interacts with such as tables, function modules, includes etc. If you would like to see the full code listing simply enter the object name( RMCBIN00 ) into the relevant SAP transaction such as SE38 or SE80
RMCBIN00 -  ABC Analysis of Cycle Counting (Physical Inventory)
    PURPOSE
This report runs an analysis for the chosen material types in the cycle counting method of physical inventory.
    FEATURES
The analysis takes into account the consumption (usage) or the requirements values of the selected materials for the desired time period. You can decide whether you want to analyze:
Only materials that have a cycle counting indicator
All materials; that is, including materials that have no cycle counting indicator.

  • ABC Cycle Counting Process Steps

We currently want to switch our Cycle Counting by Bin location to ABC Cycle Counting. We want the system automatically generate a list of materials to count daily based on there ABC indicator.
Our Current Process Steps are as follows:
Step 1:  LX 26 - Select Items for cycle count
Step 2:  LI04 – Print the Count sheets
    Step 3:  LI11N – Enter the results
    Step 4:  LX17 – View variance
    Step 5:  LI14 – Create recounts
Step 6:  LI04 – Print the recount sheets
    Step 7:  LI11N – Enter the results
    Step 8:  LX17 – View variance
Step 9:  LI20 – Accept Counts & Clear Differences WM
Step 10:  ZLI21 – Accept Counts & Clear Differences IM
But when we switch to ABC Cycle counting we can't do the LX26 because that is when you select the bins you want to count. We need the process steps if we use the system to generate the kick off. Any ideas?

    1. It is a CO problem - I think your error message is KI235. However you may face this problem if settings are ok but you do not do things properly in IM/WM bookings. Please check these links:
    Re: OKB9
Account 5248654 requires an assignment to a CO object---Message no. KI235
Please describe step-by-step (with trx codes) what you did and in which step you get the error message.
    2.
WM bookings will "never" consume you components (or maybe because a bug...). If you want to consume the components you have to post GI with reference to your PrdOrd (CO11N, CO15, CO27, MIGO, MB1A).
If you did a booking with mvt 261 in MB1A by mistake, do the reverse booking by mvt 262. That's all.
If you cannot solve your issue please clarify your problem, step-by-step...

    Hi,
    1. You can use T CODE- MI23 -Display Physically inventory data for material.
    2. You can use T CODE- MB59 -Give material code/plant code/Mov Type 701-702/Posting period -Execute (F8) >> Click on current display variant button (Ctrl+F) for selection "Amt.in loc.cur".

  • Adding found material in Cycle count by Quant in warehosue - LICC

    Hi Gurus,
    Hope everybody is doing great.
We activated the cycle count by quant in t-code LICC(cycle count in warehosue by quant). e.g. we have 3 material sin the list. After the count we found that there is another material in the bin. I tried to go into the change pysical inventory document and add the material but there is no option to add this.I tried to add the found material in t-code LI11N - enter count but the add new item is disable and doesn't allow. Can anybody please guide how to handle with the found material? Is there any setting in the customizing we need to activate to allow this? Please advice.
    Thanks,
    Shamsul

    Hi,
Many thanks for your quick reply. The new item button is available and when I tried to click it this is the message we get:
*With quant inventory, new item or single entry not allowed*
    *Message no. L4193*
    *Diagnosis*
*For Cycle Counting per quant, only the quants entered in the inventory document can be counted. It is not possible to add a further inventory item manually, or to enter inventory data per individual entry.*
It make sense that since there is no quant of the material so you can not have it in teh inventory document BUT there shoudl be a way to add the FOUND Materials also right?
    Your thought?
    Thanks,
    Shamsul

  • Specify a cycle count

Hey guys, I'm new to labview and I'm working on a project for work. I have my program set up but I would like to add a control that would let me put in a specific cycle value on the front panel, that would allow me to capture data of only the specifed cycles: say 30, or 2000. I already have a cycle counter...is there anyway I could revise my code to allow for a control of these cycle counts?

Most of your code still does not make a lot of sense.
Why is there a 0ms wait and a 0.1s delay time running in parallel?
If you want to change voltages during the run, the terminals belong inside the loop, else they will only get read once at the start of the program.
Why do you connect a DBL to a DBL using "from dynamic data". What do you expect to happen?
You still have uninitialized shift registers
What is the purpose of the ptbypt functions?
You don't need seperate indicators, simply show the digital display of the charts.
There are  "greater or equal zero" and "less than zero", primitives, no need for a zero diagram constant.
Don't do an equal with the cycle counter. If somebody would change it to a smaller value during run, the VI would never stop. Use larger or equal, for example.
Most of your output tunnels are still hollow.
You could read all four channels at once, reducing your related code to 25% of what it currently is.
