D110 won't connect to server

HP Photosmart D110 will not connect to server. It will print from our iphones, ipads and laptop. I cannot get it to scan to our laptop even when I connect with a USB cord. Windows XP. Tried unplugging the power. I cannot print off the printer code to add it to my eprint account since it will not connect to the server.

I think you have to turn off Private Browsing.
Tap "Private" on Safari Screen to disable Private Browsing. When top of screen is white, Private Browsing is off.

I did that already. I did the full maintenance treatment: Disk Warrior, followed by Applejack AUTO (which does a permissions repair and caches clean), followed by three PRAM zaps.
In accordance with Murphy's Law, it started working again about the time your post came in, but it had been hours of it not working after running the aforementioned gauntlet.
I have my doubts whether it will keep working. Meantime, Mail is humming along on my MBP. If you have any other ideas, I'd love to see them!

eprintcenter printer won't connect to server had it working at first so I delete it now the printer code won't work.

DW8 won't connect to server in Vista

Hi all,
Tearing my hair out trying to get my DW8 suite to run on my
new laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium. Used it for 3 years
on an XP machine with no problems.
It won't connect to remote server. Those buttons are greyed
out. Based on the messages I've read here, I've tried:
1) Run as Administrator
2) Compatibility with XP
3) Excluded it from Firewall
4) Turned off Firewall
5) Uninstalled and re-installed.
Am at my wits end and hope you can help. Thanks!

Don't forget to install the 8.02 patch if your install didn't
include
it.

Most common problem I've seen in here is that 8.0 can forget
your FTP
login criteria. The patch cured that, I think.

Won't Connect to Server

I have an iMac lab running 10.3 in my school. Two of the computers when the students try to connect to server won't let them. They can connect to server on other computers but not these two. Any ideas why?

Are you running Mac OS X Server setup with Home directories on the Server, or just casual File Sharing off one Mac designated as the server?
Are all the Macs set up to get their IP addresses via DHCP?
Are the Macs that can't connect trying to use an address like 169.254.xxx.yyy ?
All wired to the same Router? Any using wireless connections instead of wired?
Can you use Network Utility to "Ping" the Router?
Can you use Network Utility to "Ping" the server?
Do you get an error message or just times out? What error message?

Won't connect to server, other browsers will

Firefox recently stopped working. Is unable to establish connection to server. Both internet explorer and safari still work but I don't like them as much as firefox. I tried removing firefox, downloading and reinstalling- no luck. I tried removing it from the firewall access list and then adding it back in-no luck. The computer came with Mcafee virus protection but the subscription expired about 6mo ago and it won't let me alter any settings it might have. I don't think this is the issue as firefox was working fine before. Checked the network connnection settings and same as the other browsers - auto detect proxy settings. Don't know what to try next. Couldn't find any more in your help section.

Mail won't connect to server

I have a POP account and all the info is correct. but it still won't connect to the server. It is my work email and one of our IT guys came down to see if he could figure it out but he was puzzled. Anyone have any ideas?

Most of the time is is due to;
Ports or firewall blocking connections
Settings put into FMLE are not correct, check FMS URL for spaces and the Stream key not being what was expected.
Application no present on the server
Good way to debug is to use the Admininistration panel that Adobe provides in the FMS install.

Woke up this morning and my iPad won't connect to my email server all of a sudden. I've followed all of the advice about deleting the account, turning off the iPad, and re-adding the account, to no avail, is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Thunderbird won't connect to server.

I've used Firefox and Thunderbird since their inception, and Netscape before that. I am Not a 'newbie' user. Recently, Thunderbird stopped connecting to my server. The app lights up green as it searches for the server for a minute or so then stops after not connecting. I've tried re-configuring the server connections in 'tools' to the recommended settings on the Mozilla site. I've made sure my firewall isn't blocking the app. I've used Revo-Uninstall to completely uninstall the app and re-installed after system re-start - several times. I've tried running it with add-ons disabled. Nothing works. Thunderbird still won't connect to my mail-server. I use Comcast internet and mail and that is the only email I have configured for Thunderbird. My email through Comcast online works fine. Please help!
