D750 LR CC Support, What's the wait?!?!?!

What's the wait?!?!?!
C'mon Adobe, what is the wait about? teaching those "pesky Mac users" a lesson? I am not being able to use YOUR product on y Mac Pro because you just can't give all platforms the same weight... When is support for the D750 coming to Lightroom CC Mac?? You'll loose me as a customer if not VERY SOON!

Raw updates usually come out to cover a group of several new cameras at once, so they normally don't come out immediately after just one camera is released. They do come out at regular intervals and we already know that the D750 is supported in the pre-release version of Camera Raw 8.7 on labs.adobe.com, so they're probably working on it for Lightroom too.
It isn't clear why you think this is because Adobe is somehow anti-Mac, because the Mac and Windows versions of Lightroom are always updated at the same time. The current version of Lightroom for Windows doesn't support the D750 yet either, so Mac users are not left behind.

Apple also has camera raw updates that they release for OS X, so if you want you can leave Adobe and stick with Apple software. But if you do, keep a couple things in mind: Apple has not released a digital camera update for the Nikon D750 either. And, when you look at the past few years of raw releases from Apple and Adobe, Mac users often get support for new cameras from Adobe first.
A lot of Mac users seem to think Adobe is against them. But as a Mac Pro owner myself, I've seen that Mac users often get support for a new camera from Adobe sooner than from Apple. And right now, because the wave of mobile apps that Adobe just released are only for Apple iOS, many Android users are under the impression that Adobe is completely pro-Apple. (I don't think that's true either.) So if you think Adobe is not giving platforms equal weight, consider that the weight may actually be in favor of Mac users.

Or am I missing the bigger picture?

As long as you have a Superdrive or an external burner/drive, burning, watching, installing, etc. from CD or DVD will work just fine. And so will sharing.

  • TS1382 my ipod will not play any format of film i have tried mp4 and .mov and it says this format not supported what is the problem

i have an ipod classic and i have tried to put films on but every format i try it keeps saying thei format not supported i have tried mp4 and .mov and it will not take it anyone got any suggestions on what format to use and the best way to convert films

If these problem videos are already stored in your iTunes library, try using the iTunes built in convert to convert the file to an even friendlier iPod format.  To use it, highlight the video in iTunes and choose Advanced -> Create iPod or iPhone version from the drop down menu.  When the conversion process has completed, try syncing the new version over to your iPod Classic.

  • What do the wait events 'gc cr failure' and 'cr request retry' mean?

I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue for a customer. Environment is Oracle 10.2.0.4 (64-bit) on Redhat 5. Two node RAC cluster. The 10046 trace file shows lots of 'gc current block 2-way' waits but also a few 'gc cr failure' and 'cr request retry' waits. The 'cr request retry' waits take about 0.9 seconds each. I cannot find much if any information on these two wait events. Any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Also, you might need to check the protocol is being used for the interconnect communication.
here are the steps just in case:
    $ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus / as sysdba
    oradebug setmypid
    oradebug unlimit
    oradebug ipc
    oradebug TRACEFILE_NAME
Review the file that the last oradebug gave you back.
Metalink note 181489.1 provides some handy steps to analyze your situation. (also contains the latest supported protocols for IPC)
    Hope this helps

    No.

This forum is a user-to-user forum - it always has been. It is designed so that we users can help each other.
You have to remember that sometimes an entire thread can be wrong. Perhaps the people posting about Podcast problems are wrong. Certainly, there is one thread that has been going on for some time, but the people with the problem seem reluctant to try any suggestions put forward to them, especially if the suggestion includes the thought that Apple may not be the cause of the problem. I use Podcasts all the time and rarely have any problems.
Apple (by the way) is not the cause of every single known problem in the universe!
That said, if you have a problem with Podcasts, why not tell us here and we'll see if anyone can help you?

  • Find the Wait events for an objects.

    Hi Gurus.

I'm trying to download a audiobook I got this morning with iTunes. However, the book is frozen on "waiting" status, what is the audiobook "waiting" for?

    Hello Jose,
I would be concerned too if the audiobook I purchased from iTunes was not downloading on my iPhone. I have a few suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.
iTunes: How to resume interrupted iTunes Store downloads
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1725
If the audiobook still does not download, I recommend signing out and back into the iTunes Store on your iPhone:
    Changing your Apple ID account
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.
The last step states to sign in with another account, but for the situation you described, I recommend just signing in with your same Apple ID.
You can find the full article here:
iOS: Changing the signed-in iTunes Store Apple ID account
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1311
If you are still not able to download the audiobook, you can report an issue with this purchase using the steps in this article:

  • What is the best way to add AJAX support in an existing JSF application?

I've done some research and I found several options listed below:
1.Use JSF AJAX components like JBOSS RichFaces
    2. Use Client JavaScript Library like DOJO
    3. Use JavaScript directly
My question is what is the best way to do that?
And for approach 2, is it possible to mingle DOJO and JSF ?
Thanks a million for your answers.

If you can't wait for JSF 2 GA or don't want to use beta, look at project Dynamic Faces. It looks like JSF 2 AJAX support was based on the Dynamic Faces project, so it should be easy to switch from DynaFaces to JSF 2.
