D900 sms / call doesn't work with address book

Unlike similar posts,
the 'SMS' and 'Dial with' options ARE avaliable and the phone pairs just fine.
However, when I type a message and send, nothing happens phone side. Same with dial a call.
The bluetooth emblem on the Adress book remains glowing blue. The phone doesn't seem to stay connected though(?).
at least I can sync now though (10.4.9)

Blackberry desktop software doesn't connect with address book

blackberry desktop software version 2.4.0 doesn't connect with address book on a mac os lion (10.7.4). Sync contacts not possible. Use a BB 9500 v5.0.0.841 (plateform 4.2.0.380). Any solution ?

You have both Desktop Software and Link set to open when a device is connected to your Mac. You need to go to the settings of Desktop Software (I don't recall exactly what to do but there should be some settings in the top right corner) and set it to not open when a device is connected. Once you have it set to not open when your phone is connected, make sure that Link is set to open. That should resolve your issue.

Room Finder not working with Address Book Policies

Hi,
I have an issue with Room Finder and Address Book Policies whereby when a mailbox user is apart of an ABP they cannot see any rooms within the room finder in Outlook. They can however see their organisations rooms in the address book (which is
the intended outcome of using ABPs)
If the user is part of the default GAL (no ABP) then all roomlists can be seen in room finder making me suspect that the problem is with the ABP
I came across an article which is very similar to the problem that I am encountering however I am already using the suggested fix (using recipient filters) -
Background to configuration
We have a multi tenant exchange 2013 environment where each tenant is segmented from other tenants by the use of address book policies.
Each tenant have been set-up using the following cmdlets:

As you can see each address list is populated by custom attribute 15 corresponding to the tenants code (of local significance) and the OU that the object resides in.
N.B. I have rebuilt my outlook profile, switched to non-cached mode to no avail
To reiterate, the ABP is working great apart from this room finder feature issue, each tenant can only see their rooms in their address book just not in the room finder.
I have tried to build distribution group roomlists and set the custom attribute and OU to test but this didn't work as I'm aware you can only have address lists in the set-addressbookpolicy -roomlist cmdlet parameter, not distribution groups

Apologies for not replying sooner, I've been busy over New Year!
I have already seen/followed similar instructions to create roomlist's to no avail.
The roomlist's created are all visible to a user when they are not apart of an ABP but when they are part of an ABP it shows no roomlists within room Finder.
As initially mentioned, the tenants rooms can be seen in their address book just not in room finder!
Here is the powershell results

Right click doesn't work in Address Book

Not sure what's caused it, but I noticed recently that right-clicking from the trackpad on my MacBook Pro in Address Book doesn't. If I do want to see right-click options, I have to hold down the control key. The trackpad right-click works fine in all other applications. Any thoughts?

Try regular "left" clicking on the labels to the left of the entries. Does this work?
Now try right-clicking on the actual entry data (email address, phone number, street address) and see what happens.
Seems a bit inconsistent, but I noticed it right after upgrading to Snow Leopard.

Why search doesn't work in address book ?

Hello, I'm new on this forum and have 3 questions about AddressBook:
I use AddressBook 6.1 on a imac 3.1Ghz i5, macos 10.7.3. I have more than 2'000 adresses on my icloud account
1) I use two accounts on Address Book: first is my own icloud account and second is my company's one, which is on an AppleServer.
When I type a name in the search field, nothing happens... ?
2) Is it possible to get the old appearance (as it was on macos10.6) of Address Book? I find this new look difficult to read.
3) Is it possible to get each account on AddressBook with a different color or sign, so that it would be possible to know visually which address is on which account and vice versa ?

Eliminate the possibility of a corrupt plist (preference) file. Quit Address Book, find the com.apple.AddressBook.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder, drag it to the Desktop, log out/in or restart and let us know what happens.

HT2486 Searching doesn't work in Address Book (Mac OS X Lion), can someone help?

I've repeatedly tried resetting Spotlight and deleting AddressBook-v22.abcddb, to no avail.
What happens is I type a name in the text search box and get absolutely no response.
Help?

Back up all data.
In Address Book, select File ▹ Export... ▹ Address Book Archive... and save the archive to your Desktop.
If you use iCloud, disable contact synchronization in the iCloud preference pane. When prompted, select Delete From Mac. Re-enable synchronization. Wait for the contacts to re-synchronize, then test.
If you don't use iCloud, or if the contacts fail to synchronize, delete all contacts from Address Book, then select File ▹ Import... and import the archive you created. It may take a few seconds for the contacts to be indexed. Test.
If you don't like the results of this procedure, quit Address Book. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, copy the text on the line below into the box that opens, and press return:
~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook
Restore the folder that opens from the backup you made before you started.

Help! iTunes not working with Address Book

I have the latest iTunes and the newest version of Adressbook.
When I go to Sync my iPhone 4. The Address Book Groups that appear in iTunes (under the INFO section) are not the same as the groups in my Address Book program.
I tried deleting all the contacts off my iPhone and then re-starting the computer and then restoring them, but iTunes will not pull the new Groups into the program. iTunes just continues to display the old Groups that no longer exist in Address Book (because I have deleted them) nor will it show the new Groups I've created.
Is there a way to reset this area? Or wipe out the preferences. I don't want to lose by iPhone backups.

Apple Store said the only soluction was to wipe computer clean and re-install system from original disks and restore from back-up.

A Verizon-model iPad can only work on CDMA with Verizon. You cannot use it with any other carrier. Apple, to my knowledge, has not released the iPad in Yemen, so there is no iPad you can use with any carrier there that works only on CDMA. You would need to find a GSM carrier and then get an unlocked GSM iPad.

Caller ID not working with Nokia 6600?

I have a T-Mobile (US) Nokia 6600, and I can't seem to get address book to display incoming SMS or the caller ID of incoming calls. I've successfully paired the phone via bluetooth, and I can make address book dial the phone and send an sms. I can sync via iSync, use my phone as a modem, etc. etc.
But regardless of what settings I tweak, I can't seem to get Address Book to show a bezel of any kind on incoming calls - not even an 'Unknown Caller' message! Am I missing something obvious? Third party apps like BluePhoneElite work just fine, so I'm pretty sure it's something wrong with Address Book...

The Caller ID issue was due to an outage. It should be resolved anytime soon. Can yu log out and log back in. Go to app settings and in notifications and turn CAller ID off and on.

Video call doesn't work on iphone 6 iOS 8.1.3

I have a iphone 6 with iOS 8.1.3, updated skype to version 5.10, all functions works fine but video call. the icon of video call doesn't respond (it stays blue when you click it), camera was turned on in setting also under privacy, I can use camera to take my photo for screen photo, that means the camera was setting correctly, but only video call doesn't work, can anyone help? Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

Going to the local Apple store this morning...
My problem is not uncommon as the board is showing signs of this happening to many others as well. That is where I found the restore and reboot information to try to solve the issue of crashing apps.
I understand that Apple will not "give away the cow", but letting iPhone users know that the problems they are having are being addressed by Apple is a little more comforting than nothing at all. Other wise, all the apps in world are useless and even more importantly worthless, if a person has to reset/reboot/reload just to get them to work.
IF Apple can not address the basic problems with todays iPhone apps, why should one believe that the iPhone 3.0 OS is any better? Using a PC comparison, which is better, XP or Vista. If the current iPhone OS of 2.2. what ever is not working that well (as related to down loaded apps and iTunes), will OS 3.0 be any better?
The waste of time I refer to is in going to the apps store and downloading the apps... Again why by apps if the free version does not work?
