DAC - Task Group inactivated - but Child tasks got executed.

Hi
I have inactivated a Task Group and assembled the subject area.
Built the Execution plan and executed.
When i checked for Task Group in the execution history after completion. Task Group is not present but its child tasks are present.
I am not familiar with DAC much, can anybody help me finding the problem.
DAC Version information:
Oracle BI Data Warehouse Administration Console
Dac Build AN 10.1.3.4.1.patch.20110427.0538, Build date: April 27 2011

You need to inactivate tasks as well along with task group.

The mapping is very simple:
Source Qualifier -> Stored procedure -> Update strategy (only two ports: ROW_WID and custom column) -> Target Table
When I launch the DAC Execution Plan the corresponding task take much time (40 minuts). But when I launch the corresponding Workflow from Informatica PowerCenter Workflow Manager this only take 50 seconds... when I see the log session for the task I can see that much time is spent on the time of the updates. For example, when DAC is running the writer updates 10000 records every 6/7 minuts, but when Workflow Manager is running thw writer updates 10000 records every 8/9 seconds.
So, what happens (in the DAC) to that so much time difference? Is there a way to reduce the execution time when the task is launched from DAC?

Have you tried using bulk load type?
In Workflow Manager can you open the associated task, navigate to the mapping tab and seled the target table.
What is the value for "Target load type" and which of the following boxes are checked: Insert, Update as Update, Update as Insert, Update else Insert, Delete?

Need Help to check DAC task log in DAC

Can someone pls help me to check DAC task log in DAC.
I mean i want to see DAC task log.
The thing is I have a scenario: Where DAC task has failed but the Informatica Workflow invoked by the DAC task is succeeded.
So I want to check DAC task log to find the reason for the dac task failure.

You can check this by going to the DAC Client -> find the Task that failed-> Click Details. You should see where it failed..for instance, since the WF succeeded, it may have failed on an Index creation. You will see all the steps associated with the task. Also, once you find the step that failed, you can click on the "Status Description" column to see additional details. If needed, you can also check the logs on the server itself but you will probably find the issue from the DAC client.

What are you trying to do? What sort of data source is SHALL-PCAdventureWorksDw?
When you use EXEC() AT, I would execpt to see an SQL string to be passed to EXEC(), but you are passing an XML string????
If you explain why you think this would work in the first place, maybe we can help you.

All scheduled tasks stopped execute

Hi guys,
We are using the version 11.1.1.5(BP 2) of OIM. Now all scheduled task, stoped execute.
We clicked em "Run Now" but isn't inserted a line in grid Job History, in log doesn't show no errors.
This happen for all scheduled tasks.
What be should the problem??

Also enable looger for Schedule task (oracle.iam.identity.scheduledtasks). You will get more information in the log file.

I think you will get the some exception in diaognestic log file.

How do I make my program wait for tasks to execute

I want to write a few java classes to do things for me, namely:
1) Create a directory on a local machine which is named to the current date - that I can do with Calendar and String
2) Download the latest committed code from SVN - I suppose I will have to use a process to call SVN from command line. Does Java have a local process caller? I'm familiar with Qt's QProcess, but I'd like to do this with Java.
3) email confirmation that the tasks have executed - I can use javax.mail for that.
If anyone has comments on 2, I'd like to know, please. My greatest concern is how to make sure that steps 1-3 execute sequentially. How do I get that right?

OIM - Same tasks being executed at the same time

Hi,
I'm using Lotus Notes and SAP User Management connector to provision users to these target systems.
Both Lotus Notes and SAP has a issue related to same tasks being executed at the same time. In other words, if we try to create two or more users in these systems, an error is thrown because a user is currently being created.
So, when I run a trusted reconciliation, I'm getting many errors related to this issue because OIM is trying to create more than one user at the same time in the same target system.
Does anyone knows if I can configure OIM to run the same provisioning process only when the previous process is already completed?

Frankly, I haven't thought about using OVD yet. I just assume that OIM should be able to deal with 2 instances of the same kind of ITResource. Because this requirement is very common.
I did a little experience. For the second OID, I created manually a new set of ITResource, Resource Object, Process Form, Process, AttrName Lookup Code, Recon Rule. The apporach seems working. I can successfully provision the OIM user to the OID now.
But a problem is in the original OID User Process definition created by the OID connector installation, there are almost 20 Process tasks, how do I copy those tasks to my new Process definition? I just mannually created a "Create User" task, which is needed for provisioning.

Try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):

You should call Apple Support and give them your Apple ID so that they can verify how many photos you actually do have backed up in iCloud...
Also, are you able to do an iTunes backup at all? Because that would save all of the photos and allow you to get them onto the new device.
