Daily email with no content

I get an email once or twice a day with no content. Any way to get rid of this?

This is spam with some spammer having nothing else better to do, or one of the many PCs around the world that get taken over remotely by a spammer for distributing their garbage without the user's knowledge has some problems. Unless you are able to stop all spam, there isn't much if anything you can do about this except for selecting delete for the message.

  • My Mac mail if filling new emails with past content?

    To All Users,
          I am running on MAX OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard.   Since yesterday some of the new email's in my Mac Mail client are getting filled with content that is one year old.   This problem does not exist with the same emails that are also downloaded to my iphone.   So the problem does not lie with my service provider.  There seems to be something strange going on with my Mail client.  Does anyone have suggestion as to how to fix this issue?   Your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    2. Post in the Mail & AddressBook forum of the OS you are running (which you don't mention).

  • HTML formatted email with international content displays wrong character

    When reading HTML formatted email on the iPhone iOS4.1, it will sometimes display wrong characters.
    Comparing email source content from various html formatted emails I can see that;
    it displays incorrectly when:
    - HTML formatted content
    - Content type is marked as text/html with charset ISO-8859-1 (Latin1) which is the default html standard character encoding.
    - The international characters are not written in html conversion format, i.e. ø instead of ø
    It displays correctly when:
    - The content is marked as text/plain and encoded as Quoted-printable
    Anyway, the email which is display wrong characters on iPhone displayes correctly on OS X Mail app. Leading me to a temporary conclusion that it is a bug in iOS4.
    Can anybody confirm this?

    No matter which format you choose, you're sure to offend some recipients. Some people object to HTML, based on security or privacy concerns. Some prefer HTML because it's a more effective means of communication for some purposes.
    If your default composition format is HTML (or plain text), hold Shift when you click Write, Reply or Forward to switch the format to the opposite type, or if HTML is the default, select Options/Delivery Format/Plain text only in the Write window to make a one-off change.

  • Emails with no content that I can't delete.  Am I hacked?

    Ok guys--Help!  So the past few days I have been receiving weird emails that have been coming in as doubles and have dates that were before I were born, or at least 10 years ago.  They all show no content and I am unable to delete them  They are driving me insane.  Does anyone know what happened to my email account on my iphone 4S or how to fix it??  Any help would be appreciated!!  Thanks so much.

    Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
    Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

  • Received eMail with No Content & MIME 0kb Only on mobile device?

    Several time a day some one can forward a joke, email and etc with pictures and other embedded items. on receipt on mail client within Incredible I get "No Contents" A MIME file with 0Kb. Other times just a "Message xxkb" and when selecting saves to SD card and that's it. Nothing can be opened and nothing seen.
    What's crazy is if I log into the Internet web version email account, I see all of the contents on that account, and when forwarding to my self, it then shows up on my cell email client.
    I have the same issue with the iPad, The wife has the same issue with here Incredible and other family members out of state see the same issues.
    Web search shows many of the same issues with replies of they have same issues, but in no case any solutions have been suggested or found?
    Any one here with similar problems?

    More Info. Sending email as plain text works fine, but if the message is sent out as is, the content type is identified as 'multipart/mixed; boundary="===============1949041318=="' and these are the messages that do not display.

  • How do I setup an automatic daily email with PDF attachment?

    I would like to setup an automatic daily e-mail (that will send every day around 6 AM), with an PDF attachment retrieved from a web URL.  The web URL is constant (that is the PDF file name never changes).    Any ideas?  I've messed around with automator with poor results at best.  Thanks in advance!
    P.S..... Apologies if this is in the wrong forum!

    Just one specific email addres... myself.
    There is an online report that is updated every morning at 5:30 AM MST.  The ideal solution would email that document to myself every morning.; thus when I wake up, it's sitting in my inbox (iPhone/Macbook/Gmail, etc.)

  • Sending an email with text Content using SMTP Adapter.

    I am trying to send an email Message with the .txt attachment using SMTP adapter. I am getting an XML input and I am mapping the input Schema to Flat File Schema. I am trying to Send this Flat File(.txt attachment) in the Email. But I am receiving it as
    HTML format only.
    The Expression in the Message Transform is,
         SMTPUtils.Part.SetContentType(OutgoingFlatFile_Msg.BodyFlatFile,"text");
         OutgoingFlatFile_Msg(SMTP.EmailBodyTextCharset)="UTF-8";
         DynamicEmailPort(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.Address) = "mailto:[email protected]";
         OutgoingFlatFile_Msg(SMTP.CC) = "[email protected]";
         OutgoingFlatFile_Msg(SMTP.Subject) = "TESTMAIL";
         OutgoingFlatFile_Msg(SMTP.From) = "[email protected]";
         OutgoingFlatFile_Msg(SMTP.SMTPHost) = "smtp.org";
         OutgoingFlatFile_Msg(SMTP.SMTPAuthenticate) = 0;
    The Email attachment is HTML format,
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><ns0:Root xmlns:ns0="http://SampleSMTPEmail.OutgoingFlatFile"><Record><CustomerID>Cus001</CustomerID><OrderID>Ord001</OrderID></Record></ns0:Root>
    How to attach the .txt file to the email.

    Have you tried the following steps:
    Create the message (“msgEnvelope”) as a Multi-Part message, with the required message in the Message Body Part (“Attachment”)
    Set the following properties of the Envelope Message:
    msgEnvelope(SMTP.Subject) = <Email Subject>;
    msgEnvelope(SMTP.From) = <Sender Email>;
    msgEnvelope(SMTP.SMTPHost) = <Email Host name>";
    // This is the default value
    msgEnvelope(SMTP.SMTPAuthenticate) = 0;
    // Set the message text included in the email
    msgEnvelope(SMTP.EmailBodyText) = <Text in body of email>;
    // Important - This is required if the EmailBodyText is set
    msgEnvelope(SMTP.EmailBodyTextCharset) = "utf-8";
    // A value of '1' means include Message Body Part as email attachment
    msgEnvelope(SMTP.MessagePartsAttachments) = 1;
    Set the following properties of the Message Body Part (“Attachment”):
    // Important - Change this MIME type if not sending a Text file
    msgEnvelope.Attachment(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.ContentType) = "text/plain";
    // Set the Filename of the attachment
    msgEnvelope.Attachment(MIME.FileName) = <Physical name of the attachment>;
    Set the following property on the Dynamic Send Port:
    // We set the Email Address on the Port itself
    Dynamic_Send_Port(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.Address) = <recipient email address>;

  • Deleting emails with no subject content will cause the app to close and when returning to the app the previous emails that have been deleted re-appear.  This is happening ever time I receive emails with no content.  Is this spam and what kind of

    Internet protection is the for the iPad if any?

    I've been having deleting problems, too, and finally found a couple of fixes here on the message boards. I'll copy and paste them for you. It doesnt fix why it happens, but at least you can delete your emails.
    (at least it works so far!)

    Hey try this.
    Swipe to delete. When you are in either portrait or landscape view swipe from left to right over the message in the inbox listing. That should show a delete option without loading the email. Worked for me.

    You can also do this go into your settings>mail, contacts, calendars then turn off the "load remote images" then try to delete the message.

  • Sending emails with both body and attachment to multiple recipients

    I have a requirement to send email with body and attachment to multiple recipients.
    Body of the email is a standard text. It is a proxy-to-mail scenario.
    Here is what I've done: (I'm using PI 7.11)
    One mapping from Source to Target structure (format of the attachment text file)
    Second mapping from Target Structure to Mail Package format.
    In the second mapping I'm concatenating the output of first step into "Content" of the Mail Package.
    "XIPAYLOAD" is the message protocol used.
    The "Keep attachments" option in the Mail adapter allows only to send "Content" as attachment or as body of the email.
    How to send an email with both content and text?
    The other problem is even with using ASMA, I can't send email to multiple recipients. I can only do CC and TO for 1 person each - a total of 2. Although I can resolve this by creating mailing lists, it is better if this can be addressed in PI.
    Thanks for any input you can provide!

    Thank you for your response Mikael.
    For the first question, I was able to find the solution in the following blog:
    XI Mail Adapter : Dynamically building attachment and message body content using a simple UDF
    (I just needed to search with the right set of key words )
    The key is to set the "Content Encoding" as "None" in the mail adapter. If this is not done, the mail will be sent with an attachment - untitled.bin containing both the mail body and the attachment text. Also, don't forget to check the "Keep Attachments" checkbox in the mail adapter.
    Multiple recipients could be added by separating the email IDs with a Comma. I have used ASMA to set the recipients.

  • Custom actions - can we send email with VC button?

    Hi all,
    I wonder if there is a way to create custom actions for button in VC so that we can use to send an email with predefined content and some fields from a table? Will appreciate any idea reply real quick.
    Thanks very much,
    Tien.

    Hi,
    Currently you cannot trigger a background mail sending from VC. However, you can use the "hyperlink" system action on the button, and create a mailto: link.
    This way the default mail editor will open up when clicking this button.
    You can use dynamic expressions to build dynamic Recipient/Subject/Body to this mail message that will automatically be created for the user when clicking this button, and then the user can edit the mail message and send it.

  • Cannot delete email from iPad with no content

    Have tried all of the suggestions to get email delete without content. have restored iPad and that still does not work, prevents me from deleting other emails also as it hangs and then jumps me out of email. WHen I move an email to trash it keeps putting these emails with content back into Inbox. extremely frustrating!

    Reset of settings worked!
    +1 for sharing that.
    It seems an issue that has krept up in 8.1.x. I was not looking forward to having to wipe the iPad in any way.
    Note: off the top of my head, my "accessibility" settings (even though I have no vision issues, just trying to compensate for apple's design direction) were reduce motion, reduce transparency, reduce white point and bold on.
    Was able to delete apps after that settings reset, which took the above out, and rebooted the ipad.
    Did have to re-enter wifi password, set wallpaper and the above settings. Haven't tried deleting since, but have left bold off, as it requires a restart.
