Daily Requirements--MRP Segment- Sales order

Dear all,
In MRP3 view of Material Master i am using the availability check as 01 -daily requirements ?
When i create 2 sales order(make to stock) with the same delivery date , the system grouped the requirement and shown as one requirement in md04.
Here When i click the mep element i am not able to see the 2 sales orders ?
Is there any setting required........
In the same case when i create the 2 production order it was shown as 2 mrp segments ...
When i check the raw material it is showning as individual dependant requirements (though i set the availability check as 01)
Please reply me your comments and suggestions..........

Hi,
There is no relation between them as ind/coll indicator use to requirements are allowed for the dependent requirements of the material
Individual requirements
Requirement quantities of the dependent material are stated individually.
Collective requirements
Requirement quantities of the dependent material are grouped together.
Availability check 01 and 02,
01 and 02 are the checking group. Availability check is carried out with the help of these checking group and checking rule. Checking group 01 and 02 are maintained on the material master.
01 - Individual requirement -For this system generates transfers the requirement for each order to the MRP .So that MM can either produce or procure.
02- Collective requirement.-In this all the requirements in a day or in a week are processed at a time. System stores all req and passes on to the MRP in MRP run.In this system performance is high however you can not do the backorder processing whereas in other you can do.

Please check have you assigned any MRP group to your material masters in MRP1view? Then check the planning horizon maintain in MRP group in OPPR also check same for your plant in OPPQ.
If you define it as 200 days then system will only plan the requirement which falls under 200 days with processing key as NETPL.
If we set planning horizon as 200 days then in the material in which MRP relevant changes happened in last 200 days will only be planned. Planning horizon is the period beyond it, requirements don't generate planned orders
Please check and revert back.

View requirements for delivered sales orders in MD4C.

MD4C shows requirements for open sales orders and other related data but if a delivery has been created for the order which covers complete sales order item quantity it is excluded in the report.
I want to view such requirements too. Is there a possibility of the same and how?
Or any other transaction where this can be seen?

Hi,
When a delivery is completed (e.g. bu PGI). the requirement is not needed any more and it's deleterd in table VBBE or VBBS, so, you can not see it in requirement list any more.
You sill can see the order in table VBAP(sales order) or table LIPS (delivery).

Requirement type in sales order

hi sap gurus,
i want to know how requirement type is configured and how it conmtroll the scenario in MAKE TO ORDER scenario. previously i have seen that with requirement type in sales order Procurement tab, system determine the planning statergy and it determine the special stock type of material, e.g. E for sales order stock and Q is for project stock. but i want to know whether this is correct or not and how this is happenning i.e. what is the configuration and assignment.
please help at earliest.

Using MD50 to run MRP for Sale Order

Dear all,
I have some problem when using MD50 with Mill Product Industry.
When SAP system not activate Mill Product yet. I used transaction code MD50 to run MRP for Sale Order, the system have generated planned order for multilevel. But when SAP system have activated Mill Product, I used transaction code MD50 to run MRP for Sale Order, the system only generate planned order for single level. I think that we have to configure something based on Mill Product Industry. So can you help me for this

MRP AGAINST SALES ORDER

Dear All,
when i am using MD50 for MRP of Sales Order, i am getting the message sales order is blocked for single item planning, though this t code is used for Multilevel planning. My sales order bom has 3 levels.

check for reason for rejection against sale order line item in thse sale order. There should not be any reason for rej in that field.

Removing incoterms as a required field from sales order.

I have rechecked the whole thing
May be at item level it should be asking now
Check the procedure flowing at VOV7 for your sales order item category
Go to OVA2 choose your sales item
Again the procedure of what is there in VOV7 and remove the incoterms at item level also
Then completely come out of SAP and relog and do it after 2 mins
I have Incoterms removed and tested it and it is working
Incoterms completely removed in sales order the order gets saved without incoterms
Both at header and item level it has to be removed from the incompletion procedure

I read your message and actually helped me to think about some config, that is:
If I do not assign this field as M (mandatory), then I would have the possibility of creating the return order with reference to different billing documents, by selecting them from the menu. I could include as many as items as possible, once it is the same customer.
Is this reasonable or there is another way to create with reference of multiple billing documents.

MRP Requirements due to sales order rejected

Hi,
I am using the strategy Assembly to order in an environment Make to Order.
When the sales department fill out the field reason for rejection with any value the system deleted the production order even it has the status release or has notification.
Does any one knows how to avoid this behavior in the system?

How did you handle the requirements. Because if you do not type a rejection reason the system generate another production order for the sales order after you run the MRP.

Super BOM doesn't generate while run MRP from Sales Order

Hi all,
I am trying to make a Super BOM
where i have a material x as finished product, and i have 2 material as component for that finish product ( A and B )
i already create characteristic and assign it to the class 300, i also have created the configuration profile for the finish goods material and the object dependencies selection condition type for those material component in the BOM Item,
i also have check using simulation CU50 and the BOM is ok
But when i try to create Sales Order, entry the characteristic and run the MRP using MD02, the Super BOM doesn't explode
Is there anyone who can help to solve this problem??

Does any planned order generated for the finished material? or you are talking about the components explosion?
If all the answer is Yes, then check and maintain the 2 collective requirement in MRP4 tab for the components material master.
And reprocess the MRP and check.

MRP type "VB" components generated dependent reqt. after MRP by sales order

Good morning to all SAP gurus
        I hav scenario for mech. industry where we r going to implement MRP run , having FERT which is MTO scenario and " PD" MRP type.and its BOM components having MRP type "VB" with no strategy type. At MRP run after creating sales order system generated purchase requisition for components(ROH) depends on sales order requirements along with reorder point PR. So please help me system shouldn't generate PR depends on sales order requirements should create as per reorder point PR only.
       EX.   To manu. 1 nos of FERT (PD) required 1 nos of ROH (VB) . we r creating sales order of 10 nos. , reorder pt is 11 and
stock is 15. after mrp run system generated PR for 10 nos which is dependent for sales order.
       Pls elaborate regarding above scenario. Thanks in advance.

Practically speakig , system should generate special stock PR as you are dealing with MTO sales order and MRP should plan the depedent requirement accordingly based on the MRP4 -Indiviaul and Collective Indicator -1 .
But , if you do not want to consider it as special stock , then you need to assing MRP4 Individual and Collective Indicator -2 and run MRP MD02-2,1,1,3,3 .
In you case , you have already stock 15 pc and ROP -10 , so system will not genreate any PR because , it will fullfill the requurement ( 10 PC FERT -10 ROH) .Once the stock fall behind 10 , then it will trigger PR .

Requirement generation through Sale Order

I would like to know how requirements are generated and mapped to SAP with Sale order based. All I know is the Make to order process. Is there any other process? Will third party also come into picture.

Dear Biplap,
Exception Message 20 is Cancel process, meaning the system is directing the relevant person to delete the requirement in order to avoid excess inventory.
This is bound to come, since u have not run MRP but you are manually procuring the material. This need not be a point of concern as long as u are aware that the material and qty in consideration is what u require. Once u run the mrp at a later date, the exception message will change based on the planning results.
The exceptional messages will not stop you in any of your transaction but it is only a message for the MRP controller to take corrective action, if need be.
