Daily workschedule and time events

Hi,
we have problem about time events day assignment on holidays. it is as below:
we have a daily workschedule 16:00 to 01:00 (on the next day). it is working well on normal days but when it is a holiday on the calendar the clock out time (01:00) is assigned to the current day and it is not paired to the clock in.
we use P01 as time event type. how I can do something to daily workschedule be prior to holiday calnedar in day assignemt?
could any one help me on fixing this problem?

there was a long break for this discussion,
I tried my solution for this problem but there was big bang after running final time evaluation for payroll payment
my solution:
1- I tried Mr. Omid's hint and changed "day type rule" to 02 and
2- regenerated my workschedule then holidays day type was 0 for this workschedule
3- I put a rule after function p2011 as below
time evaluation worked properly and every thing seems ok when I run it individually but it seems that when it was run finally by our time administrator every thing is mixed up and the holiday is counted as absence for some employees. I don't know what happened, now I rolled every thing back and again we have problem for holidays.

The daily work schedule is imported as follows to table TZP:
Time ID     Time        Duration
01          00.00                   Time outside working time
02          08.00                   Fill time
03          09.75                   Core time
04          12.00       0.75        Core time break
05          09.00       0.25        Fill time break
The time ID is used to control the assignment of time types to time
pairs (function TIMTP) using the Time Type Determination Table (T555Z).
The time pairs generated by function P2000 in table TIP are assigned
pair type "1", if the day type according to the personal work schedule
is blank or "0", and pair type "2" if the day type is "1".
All clock times are decimalized beforehand. If there is a substitution
with cost distribution on the day being evaluated, the appropriate split
indicator is set.

Differences between Time ticket (CO11N) and Time Event (CO19)

Could you please briefly explain differences in between Time ticket (CO11N) and Time Event (CO19) during Prd Ord confirmation?
I tried searching for relevant material but could not get any.

In my understanding CO11N, is generally used to confirm the production execution at operation level or sub operation level or
normally for milestone operation confirmation.Automatic Goos movement can also be performed when this T Code is executed.
There is no track of exact setup start time,end time,execution start time and end time.
Using CO19,we can track the or post the exact or actual setup start time,setup end time,processing start time,end time for each
operation.

Every confirmed time event is assigned internally to a record type group:
Setup times are assigned to record type group 1.
Processing times are assigned to record type group 2.
Teardown times are assigned to record type group 3.
Each record type group can be assigned to one or more parameters in the standard value key for the work center (for example machine time). (See Customizing in Production ® Basic data ®Work center ® General data ® Standard value ® Define standard value key). The link between time event and parameter ensures that the calculated duration counts as an activity (for example, when calculating the actual costs of the operation.
The processing of an operation requires both machine time and labor time. You can only confirm quantities when you confirm processing time events.

Restriction in event reported date and time

Dear All,
            We have a requirement where we want to keep check on all the reported events such that none of the events are reported with future date and time.
          We have some 25 reporting events and we have an option to keep the check in Preprocessing FM but then i have to add the customizing of each of the reported events.
Do we have any possibility to keep a validation via customizing on Actual Reported Date and time event to be within current date and time i.e. no future event is possible without using preprocessing functionality.

                   For an event which I am reporting , I have actual date and time as a field. In this field user can enter any date and time and this will be treated as reported date and time for that event.
   What I need is the restriction that none of the reported date and time is in future from the time when user is actually reporting the event. I am not considering planned date and time as the criteria for restriction.

This feature is new in Lion. I get what Apple is doing but I don't view the calendar in day mode. I use iCal exclusively in Month mode. Therefore, if I add an entry like "10:00am doctor's appt.," iCal will (correctly) assume the obvious, and enter the event as "doctor's appt." at the 10:00 am slot in the daily view. The trouble is, I don't look at the daily view, and I have missed a few appointments because I didn't realize what was going on.
My best work-around right now is to use a semi-colon for the time. That way, iCal won't automatically assume I'm talking about a time of day. For example, I now write "10;00am doctor's appt." This way, iCal puts in on the monthly calendar exactly the way I wrote it, like it was doing in Snow Leopard.
Is there a more elegant solution than using semi-colons for the time to counteract iCal's insistence on entering the time automatically into the daily view?

When I try to adjust the date and time of an event by selecting Photos from iPhoto, the year I enter is altered.

I have images in iPhoto from an older digital camera which did not record the date and time. In iPhoto, with an event selected, I have tried to adjust the date and time by choosing Photo. When I adjust the date and check Modify original files, it makes the date much earlier--in centuries. I now have an event from August 2003 (the date I entered) which reads June 2, 1251 under the event! When I attempt to correct it, it goes back further in time. What am I doing wrong?

(I use iPhoto only to import from my iPhone; I organize all my images, including thousands of RAW files, in folders on a big external drive.)
Why are you using iPhoto at all? use image capture or drag and drop the photos
The problem is that the files I am copying are getting stripped of the EXIF metadata
eliminating iPhoto from your work flow will eliminate one oppertunity to have this happen For photos in iPhoto it is best to export them rather than drag an drop them - this assures your EXIF and IPTC data is correct and uptodate
Why would I be able, over many years, to retain EXIF metadata in photos imported from an iPhone--then one day find that the same workflow strips such photos of EXIF data?
Because exporting is the supported way to "export" photos - I never drag and drop photos out of iPhoto and I never use thrid party programs on the photos in the iPhoto library - try exporting as suggested above and see if that is the solution

Why do some events show date and time in ical?

Some events show the date and time, others show only the time. I cannot find a setting in preferences to have it be one way or another. I do enter events both on the computer and also my iphone 4s, but that doesn't seem to be the difference.

Thank you for your response. That does adequately cover the
client-originated sessions, but still leaves the ability I am
looking for unavailable.
It did serve to definitively answer my most pressing
question, however, with this statement:

sending code must keep track (for example, in a database) of the
messages it sends and their destinations. When a response event
arrives, it can look up the origniatorID to determine whether it

I will play around with the Application scope to see if there

Adjust Date and time for all Photos in an event?

Would some one tell me how to adjust the date and time for all photos in an event. For some reason when I change the date, it only changes the first photo in the event and I am left with a range of dates in the event, but I would rather they all have the same date in the event. Any thoughts or ideas?

How are you selecting the photos and changing them? How much of a change are you trying to make? A total change of date and time or just a delta change either plus or minus?
Using the Photos->Adjust Date and Time... menu option will apply the time/date difference to all of the photos in the Event if you click on the Event icon in the Photos mode or the Event mode.

Entourage Calendar Events: Dates and times are not being saved accurately

After an event has been created and saved, the date and time will change pushing the event forward, but not consistently. Some events jump forward a few hours others an entire day or more. I've been using this program for many years without fault but this problem started several days ago after a recent automated software update. It is not only happening with newly created events, it has also altered events saved weeks ago! (note: time zone is set accurately in the System Preferences and Entourage)

I would check Microsoft's Entourage 2004 forum to see if others have experienced the same issue. Entourage 2004 has been replaced with Entourage 2008 awhile back. It may be those issues are fixed with 2008 and will never be in 2004, or you may need a later patch for 2004. If the automated software update was Microsoft's I'd contact Microsoft, if it was Apple's, this may just be a sign you need to upgrade your Microsoft to keep up with Apple. Whenever you do a system level software update you always need to verify compatibility bugs don't exist with the newer system when you are talking about other third party software. There are way too many third party software titles out there new and old for Apple to test with its own system given the time frame people desire updates.

It doesn't.
What it does is discard intermediate backups at the end of 24 hrs and keep just three spaced backups from the previous day.
At the end of the next day, that day's will be reduced to 3, and the previous 3 trimmed to one; the last backup of that day.
Daily backups are kept for a month, then trimmed to the last backup of the week.
The weekly backups are kept until the disc runs out of space and TM starts deleting the oldest ones.

Using + and - keys to change dates and times; Find and Replace event

I have two iCal related questions. One has been bugging me since the Snow Leopard upgrade and the other I'm just wondering about.
1. Is it just me or is it no longer possible to use the + and - keys to increment dates and times when editing an event? It seems that now I have to actually type in the numerals instead. Is there something in the preferences I'm missing or is that just the way it is now? Seems like a step backward, if so.
2. Is there a way to do a "find and replace" for an event that occurs sporadically throughout the year, but isn't a repeating event per se? I just want to rename the event itself.

I did not know that was possible. Try using the ↑/↓ arrow keys to increment numbers, and →/← arrow keys to change fields.

AFAIK, you have to use the search field to find the individual events, and change them when you click on the events in the search results field.

Calendar List mode not showing correct event days and times

I am currently using Exchange server to sync my calendar events to google apps. All my calendar entries are correctly syncing to the iphone, but when I open List view, it shows all my entries on different days and times. Drilling down into an event, and it brings up the correct information. Switching to day or month, the events are displayed correctly.
I have reset my phone and this problem is still occurring.
