Damaged Photoshop CS5 Download for Mac

First of all, just switched from a dinosaur Dell to a Mac and then ordered a subscription for Photoshop CS5. Had it on my computer as a trial and deleted it. Now every time I try to download the software onto my computer, I go to click the icon and it tells me the program is damaged or incomplete. I'm frustrated. Tried deleting all adobe system files off my computer and starting over again but I think I'm digging myself into a deeper whole. I'm a rookie at the mac operating system and I'm lost. Please help

Did you run the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers?

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images from Lightroom and choosing the "Render using Lightroom option when it popped up in the dialogue box. She has been doing this for over a year and a half without any problem. Today when she hit Command E no dialogue box appeared and the image just opened in Photoshop. I'm concerned that all of her Lightroom edits are not being rendered to Photoshop. Anyone have an idea as to how we can get the "Render using Lightroom" dialogue back?

Where is the download link for cs5.1 for mac?

I bought Photoshop CS5.1 for my iMac. I now need it on my Macbook too as I am traveling for work. I'm pretty sure I can use my existing licence on 2 devices, seeing as I will only use one at a time. My serial key is for cs5.1 but the only Photoshop download link I can find is for CS6. Will my serial key work in cs6? I actually only want cs5.1 but I cannot find a link to download it. I'm really frustrated - I've wasted hours on this. The link you kindly provided took me to somewhere with links to download older versions of Photoshop but these didn't work for me. I thought it was coz I am trying to download from Dubai - where I am currently working - but I tried a VPN and this didn't work either. Honestly, I am astounded. When you buy software from anyone else it's really simple to use on a second computer. I think things couldn't be more complicated on Adobe.com! I guess the only solution is for me to make a long distance call to Adobe USA then?

CS5 for Windows can only be installed on Windows operating system.
You would need to purchase CS5 for Mac OS.
Given that CS5 is now 4 versions back, it's unlikely you'll find a copy.
You could get DW CC from the Creative Cloud which supports both Win/Mac platforms.

Unfortunately, no. the CS programs are platform specific. You have three options. Upgrade to CS6 and request a platform swap, in which case you will give up the Windows serial number. Second, you could buy a second serial number for Mac outright. Third, you can buy the subscription to Photoshop CC, which can be used on both Windows and Macintosh..

Issues installing Photoshop CS5 in my Mac Book Pro

I have heard that there are issues installing Photoshop CS5 in case sensitive Snow Leopard drives. How do I know if I have a case sensitive drive. I was able to download the 30 trial version of Photoshop CS5. My file system is listed as - Journaled HFS+. Is anyone familiar with this issue and will I have this issue installing Photoshop CS5 on my Mac? Thanks.

As you had already downloaded the installer, give it a try. Well if your file system is Journaled HFS+ installer will not report any error related to file system.
To check the file system -
Finder > File > New Finder Window
Select only the volume under Devices for which you wish to get the file system information.
File > Get Info
Under General tab check Format:
I believe it would be just "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" in your case. For case-sensitive it would be like -
"Mac OS Extended (Case-sensitive, Journaled)" or "Mac OS Extended (Case-sensitive)"

Photoshop CC 2014 for Mac Error With Display Driver

I keep receiving this error and then Photoshop crashes. Has anyone encountered this issue and if so how did you resolve it? I am using a Targus docking station and I had to download this driver: Driver Name: Video, Audio, and Ethernet Software for Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10, Mavericks 10.9, Mountain Lion 10.8/10.7 (R2.3) – January 2015
As long as this driver is installed on my mac pro, Photoshop continues to crash. If I uninstall the driver, Photoshop works fine.

Adobe PhotoShop Elements 6 for Mac

I've downloaded, without difficulty, the Adobe PhotoShop Elements 6 for Mac 30 day trial onto my Pismo running OS 10.4.8 with 1GB of RAM. As soon as I try to open a photo the application crashes. I know the G3 processor (500 MHz) will be slow but it shouldn't be impossible for it to cope. Adobe's site says that G4 or higher is required. Perhaps I should look at earlier versions of the application. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated
