I have a serious problem in my proBook 4530s
i was working in my windows 8 OS and while i was listening to music on youTube site an error message appeared with a shade on my lap screen and a small vertically black lines .. i pressed the power button untill the lap turned off ,, i opened it after that ,, but the screen still black ,, i think the lap doesn't open the OS ,, cause the power button is lighted but the hp logo doesn't appear ., it still black .. Can any expert help me please :'(

Problems with HP Probook 6475b after swiching computer off during full system restore

Can anyone help?I have a problem with my HP Probook after it was accidently switched off during the running of an inbuilt recovery disc to restore the computer to its original instalation. When I switch it on now it goes straight to a message that says 'Windows is loading files' and after a short while comes up with a screen which says: Windows 7RECOVERY DISC***WARNING***You are about to erase your hard drive. click the greencheck box to proceed. Performing this action will restorethe computer back to it's original Windows installaltion there is the choice of three check boxes - one green with a tick, one red with a cross and one c:\ When I click the green box after about 5 seconds there is a dialogue box entitled ' Restore Error Message'and in the box it states Error 1, with a box to click that says 'ok' If I click the ok box it returns back to the same message that Windows is loading files and goes through the same loop.I cannot get past this point. If I click the c:\ box it goes to a black dialogue box which has the following: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]X=\windows\system32> If I put sfc/scannow the message is as follows: There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart Windows and run sfc again Can anyone advise how I can get out of this 'Error 1' loop and complete the system restore?

I do have a backup of the files, but the biggest issues come with the computer shutting down. I try to save frequently, but it makes it very tedious when I have to wait for the computer to reload, relaunch photoshop and redo my work. These frequent interruptions are hurting my productivity.

Boot device option problem in HP Probook 4540s Laptop..

I have installed Fedora20 in my Laptop in a separate partition. After installing it is showing
"Boot loader has not verified loaded image"
"System compromise hault"
error and system went to power off state.
To recover this I need to choos the Boot device in the Boot device option in BIOS as Fedora then it is booting Fedora20 OS.
But in this case, in Boot device option I am getting more Fedora option with the Windows Boot Manager, Boot from EFI options.
Please suggest what is the issue with my Lap and what I need to do to recover this problem.

Nokia E-7-00 dangerous problem I CAN'T CALL!

it's since I monted last update of symbian anna (service pack 1) on my mobile that the contact book doesn't work anymore.
I open the contacts and it's ok, then if I open a foldel of a contact the application doesn't respond and remain freezed and I can't call... until i close it by the multitask manager and try calling by another application

Please backup important data like contacts, messages, notes, calendar, and files before going to Nokia care.

Probook 4530s graphics problem

Hi,
I have a problem with my probook. When I connect it to HDMI or VGA, I have picture on both, TV and monitor. I dont have picture on my led panel. I have tried anonther led panel and its all the same. Panel only have backlite and as I change output via fn shortcuts, I can see that the backlite on panel stops when i change output to projector only. At the begining I had this problem when i start or restart my proobook. Then I just holded the power button to shutdown laptop. After that i get the picture and it works for a couple of days. Now i cant get picture at all. All that started when i updated my bios from f41 to f50.

(a) Right click a blank space on desktop,
(b) Select Personalize
(c) Select Display
(d) Select Change Display settings
(e) Now, you should see 2 screens. Pull down "Multiple displays" and select what you want
(f) Click Apply/Change

HP ProBook 4530s orange blinking led, won't recognise the power cord

Hello!
yestarday I tried to open my laptop but it didn't start. i thought that maybe the battery was empty so i plugged the power cord, but nothing happened.
then I noticed the led near the power cord blinking orange. After a fast googling i came to this thread ( http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware/charging-light-blinking-problem-with-hp-probook-4530s... )
using the 8-step guide I managed to boot the laptop just to realise that it won't detect the power cord!
It was really strange, because when I noticed this, my battery was already at 2%!
I shut down the laptop, and tried to open it without the battery, it booted normally, but it still can't detect that the power cord is plugged in!!!!!
On the other thread some mentioned to update the bios, but in my case where it can't detect the power cord, that's impossible, because the procedure requires the laptop to be plugged in.
Now the laptop won't start normally, I have to keep the power button pressed for 40 secs and then plug the power cord. In addition it won't work only with battery, and that is my biggest problem!!
What should I do now?

Hp probook 5310m unicast issue

Hi Folks, we have just received a batch of HP probook 5310m and have encountered a strange imaging problem.
They can only seem to unicast one machine at a time. If you start unicasting another it will boot, load the imaging tool and begin to image, then it will stall and eventually fail with a time out.
We are running zen 7 sp1 on netware. I have already updated the PXE files useing the Jan 2010 patch from Novell. Other machines on the netware are not experiencing this problem.
The Probook has a Marvell Yukon 88e8072 Nic.
Has anyone experience this problem before, or have any sugestions ?

Nope, but here are some random thoughts...
As an experiment, obtain the latest imaging ISO and try manually imaging ( Boot, Choose Manual, blah, blah, blah, use img command ... ) and see if you have same issue when two are being imaged. prior ti using the img command check the MAC address of the two machines with ifconfig / ethtool...
My suspicion is that for some reason the MAC address / IP address is duplicated. Prior to running the imag command, each machine should have a distinct IP address - so ping from the ZCM server to the two workstations - simultaneously - to confirm this is not a comms issue. Ideally you will have some oddness when both machines are running, and be able to identify the cause.
On the other hand, perhaps it works when done manually... in which case... ??? Then you need to inspect what happening via PXE.
The other test would be to take a different model of machine and image it with the same ( wrong image for the machine, I know - but sometimes you gotta break some eggs ) just to see if the issue has something to do with the image file itself or some other creepy factor. You can always take the destroyed test machine and image it with the proper image when done to recoup it.

HP Probook 4520s freezing/ locking up

Hi im having problems with my probook 4520s. Its freezing/locking up on me. It seems to be happening a lot more recently. It has happened 4 time today and each time i had to hold the power button to power it down. It seems to happen when im on the internet and everything freezes. I cant move the mouse and the keyboard doesnt work. I have a 64 bit proccessor with i5 and 4 gigs of ram. Has anyone else had these problems or know of anything i can to to trouble shot these problems? thanks in advance

Do you let it load after it freezes? Sometimes your computer is just laggy at times. Also, how old is the computer and do you try Ctrl+Alt+Delete? Sometimes that works and unfreezes your PC.

Photoshop CS5.1 Extended: Could not complete your request because there are too many Files Open

I saved a file last night and now this morning I get an error message stating: "Photoshop CS5.1 Extended: Could not complete your request because there are too many Files Open. Try closing some windows and try again.". I've rebooted the system and made sure Photoshop was the only program running and that there were no other files open prior to trying to open my file. I increased Photoshops ram usage, checked the OpenGL settings, 3D and VRAM settings, cleared my temp files and am at a loss for opening this file.
System Specs:
Win 7 64
6 core I7 processor
32gb Ram
3GB VRAM
600gb free space on 7200 rpm drive
File specs:
1 3D object replicated maybe 5 times (yes, I should have rasterized them, and will do that to 4 of them if I get the file open)
Maybe 8 textures
Not sure how many total layers.
Is there anyway to get Photoshop to reopen this file?

No, more VRAM is useless. I had the same thought as you so I tried with a friend's computer with 3GB of VRAM for 8GB RAM (mine has 1GB VRAM for 16GB RAM). Still got the same error message. Sorry guys but our files are lost until Adobe fix the error in Photoshop code. I hope in the future they will find a way to either fix this error or give a clear limitation, it is really a shame such a dangerous problem exists and persists for more than 3 photoshop gen.
Still you may be able to have at least a flat image of your latest file by trying to open the file as smart object. I started my work over by doing that. Not a lot but better than nothing.
However for my new file I am trying something different : Each time I think a 3D file is final, I do not rasterize it but make it into a smart object and save the new smart object into a single separated .psd file. If any change is needed I can still edit all of my 3D objects by opening them separately. So far it works, the global file is lighter with few to no 3D objects inside but I will not say it is a 100% no-risk method yet.
Last advice I can give everyone : Before closing the file you are working on, save it as a copy (File / Save as... and check 'As copy' in the options below) then with your main file still open, try to open the copy. You may need a lot of memory if your file is heavy but still if the dreaded error message appears when you try to open the copy then remove or rasterize some 3D objects in your main one. Save again as copy and try to open the copy until you do not get the message anymore.

Applications launcher popup - Scrambled graphics

I am getting a very very strange UI bug in OS X Lion (both 10.7.2 and 10.7.3).. When I click on my applications folder in the dock, the launcher window that pops up has very warbled and scrambled graphics. Pieces are being drawn in the wrong place and are stretched out beyond their inherent resolutions etc. It's not a very dangerous problem but it does trouble me that such a major part of the UI is completely messed up like that. I am using a Mac Mini 2011.

A minor update and kudos for Lenovo/IBM support:
A couple of phone calls to IBM (who service/support Lenovo here) and the machine has been picked up by a courier (within 90 minutes, which is great!). What was particularly good was that the gent from IBM Brisbane asked me at the beginning of our conversation whether I was technical, and when I said "yes", he didn't stuff me around - we got straight to the meat of the problem and had narrowed it down to a hardware problem pretty quickly. I cannot begin to tell you how much that means: in the past, I've had Dell tech support on the phone asking me to reinstall Windows over Linux on a failed hard drive before they would accept that it had failed, and similar nonsense from help desk people who insist on going through a script that doesn't even make sense if the user is completely clueless.
Sounds like this will be a system board replacement, and since it has to be back-ordered (made worse by the CTO nature of the machine) it will be a couple of weeks. Hopefully, I'll be able to check the "Solved" icon then.

Query result set ordered incorrectly

I have this problem.
I have a table (lisitab) with a list of codes, for example:
A0001
A0002
AD063
AY064
In my java class I run a query (select lisi_codi from lisitab order by lisi_codi) and I expect the following order:
A0001
A0002
AD063
AY064
but I have this result:
AD063
AD064
A0001
A0002
What is strange it's that if I execute the query in SQL*Plus or other tools (PLSQLDeveloper for example) it works fine! When run my JDeveloper application I have the bad ordered result set.
My DB is Oracle 8.1.7 on Windows2000(SP2). The DB language is set as AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8DEC.
The client is set with NLS_LANG AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8DEC and I'm using Oracle OCI JDBC Drivers 8.1.7 deployed with JDeveloper 3.2.
I presume there's a bug (a BIG BUG!!!) into JDBC Drivers.
How can I work without trusting in order by ?
Could anyone help me?

I'm working on Oracle 8.1.7 on Windows 2000 and JDBC drivers are Oracle JDBC 8.1.7 deployed with Jdeveloper 3.2.
I also tried with an Oracle 8.1.7 DB with charset WE8ISO8859P1 and a client with the same charset, but the result is same: bad ordered result set!
Is there anybody at Oracle who could tell me why and how to resolve (or workaround) this tedious and dangerous problem?

Disable A2DP

Is there any possible way on the iPhone 4 to disable A2DP?
I have the Jabra Stone bluetooth headset. This headset allows me to be connected to two different phones/devices at once, which I need since I have a work cell phone and a personal cell phone. It also has A2DP which lets me listen to music or watch videos while listening through my headset. However, I do not want this to automatically happen. In fact, I would rather disable it and then enable it when I need to.
I have a speaker dock on my desk at work and a dock in my car that plays audio through my car speakers. I always put my iPhone 4 into the dock and listen to streaming Sirius XM internet radio or listen to my own music through the iPod application. If I take my headset out of its stone charger, it will automatically begin to play the music on the headset. I do not see any way to select the output source within the Sirius application. I do not want it to play through the headset since I want to make a phone call using my work mobile phone. The good thing is if I am receiving a call on my work phone the headset will automatically pick that as the source when I take it out of its charger.
The only way I can find for this to not automatically happen is to disable bluetooth on my iPhone until I need it...Which I don't want to do, since I can't easily just enable it once I receive a call, only before I make a call.

There seems to be a serious audio output issue where the iPhone does not want to remember the desired sound output when connected to an A2DP bluetooth device (Jawbone Era). I am able to switch my output to "Dock" rather than "Jawbone", however, every time I finish a call on my bluetooth the interrupted music starts playing from my bluetooth headset rather than the original source selected (my car audio "dock"). I have to go back into the output settings in "iPod" and select the "dock" while driving.
This problem creates unnecessary fumbling and distractions while driving with my bluetooth device. To make matters worse, the music is always blaring in my ear after the call. This really causes a hazardous situation where I'm forced to focus on my gizmos rather than the road ahead.
Apple dudes, this is a very dangerous problem that needs to be addressed! Please add the option of switching off a pared devices A2DP music settings. All it takes is one switch in the bluetooth device settings. Another option may be to lock the desired output.
The iPhone and Jawbone are a great combo but this is something that needs immediate attention from your dev team.
P.S. I would gladly accept a position in your company if you would like to hire me.

Iphoto OSX Mavericks didn't load complitely. Can i reload Mavericks to help iPhoto to dowload completely?

I installed Mavericks on my iMac. iPhoto didn't download fully. what to do to finish the download? It is fine on my iPad , iPhone. and MacBook. But all three items, are unbearably slow and caussing a lot of real, dangerous problems. My Macbook couldn't boot up or reboot? HELP.

Check to see if the startup disk needs repairing. If so, better to do that before finishing the iPhoto download.
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If DU reports errors, restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you can access the built-in utilities to repair the disk using OS X Recovery
Backup all important data before restoring OS X.
If the disk is ok, finish the download > Mac App Store: How to resume interrupted downloads
