DAQmxBase for Mac OS X: where's the support for all DIO ports?

As of version 1.5.0f2 of the NI-DAQmxBase release for Mac OS X, only port0 is supported for digitial IO. I would like to have the full functionality of my E-series board; does anyone know if a new release is in beta now or will be released soon that, you know, supports more than 1/4 of the board's DIO functionality? Are there workarounds one can employ with the current version? Thanks in advance.

There are no current plans to add support for the extended digital on the NI 6025E. The architecture is unique to that board and the newer M Series boards now have an extended number of digital lines. Another option is to use an E series board and the PCI-DIO-96 which is also supported in NI-DAQmx Base.
With that said, we continually add features based on customer requests. Do you have a lot of these systems? Do other people out there want the extended digital on the 6025E supported?

I am about to rebuild my X201 Laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I downloaded systemupdate40-2009-10-19.exe and systemupdate40-2009-10-19.txt. The txt file is extremely poorly formatted for notepad. It is one long line.

My iPhone 4s no longer has sound for any of the applications but it does have sound for phone functions. Where is the setting for app sound? I have gone to the multitask screen and the volume bar is empty.

I recently found my phone outside in light rain (it had been there about 20 minutes). It had some glitches at first, however after letting it rest overnight it seemed to mostly recover. The one problem I am having is that I no longer have sound for any of my applications. I do have sound for phone fuctions, and I am able to use the speaker for phone functions.
When I am in my applications, including music/videos, the only way I can hear is if I use my earbuds. I am able to make a video and it will record sound just fine.
When I go to the multitask screen, the volume bar is empty and I cannot adjust it using the side buttons (even though in settings I have that feature activated). I completely reset all of my settings tonight and that did not make a difference.
Is there a setting I am missing, or am I just SOL? I am trying to avoid having to get a whole new phone but it is very frustrating to not have sound with my applications.

There are two places where vibrations can be set.
One is the Settings > Sounds
The other area is Settings > Notifications
If you have an app set to Alert, it may have a vibration set for it.

I was only pointing out that the suport apple offers is not support IMO, not criticizing your post.
Having to pay for a support that should be included whenever you buy a software is a shame IMO.

Where is the support for system upgrade malfunctions? I lost PDF options

and I am getting no resolution to the issue. My computer was fine before the most recent upgrade. I even tried to download the 10.5.7 combo upgrade several times after it was suggested. The download not only took forever but I had to restart it several times after it timed out. Once it finally completed and I installed it, I still am having the same problems including no PDF print options and my Pages keeps quitting.

This might not actually have been the case. One of the top reasons for an upgrade failing is for there to be some kind of subtle underlying problems that the user might not yet have been aware of. For that reason, it is strongly recommended that you repair the boot drive and repair permissions before every system update.
The other likely possibility with 10.5.7 is bad RAM, as it seems to be picky about that. However, bad RAM would not show up as a lack of PDF print options or a single app crashing, so that makes it unlikely in my eyes.
Also, *never ever* restart your computer in the middle of an update, unless you are reasonably sure that it has really, truly frozen. If such a thing does happen, you should download the combo updater rather than using Software Update and try that. Of course, if you have installed the update without doing the preemptive diagnostics, you should go and repair the hard drive before trying to update again.

Still it says ConnectionManagerType MSOLAP100, however in the connection string I now have Provider=MSOLAP.5, this seems to be another SSDT bug.

You don't have to worry about. They are stored in a kind of volume named "MobileBackups", but they appear as stored in your hard drive. To delete them, open System Preferences > Time Machine, and turn off Time Machine. Then, turn it on. However, you don't need to delete them, as they will be deleted when your hard drive gets full

I've read the mozilla article on downloading firefox for mac, and it shows a download firefox for mac button. As suggested I went to http://mozilla.org/firefox , but there is no such button there, nor was there any indication that the promised 'detecting the right firefox version for your computer' took place. Do I just go ahead with the install or do I need to look elsewhere on the mozilla site for that firefox for mac button?
