Dashboard comes up at odd times

Lately my dashboard comes up when I click on an email or on a page in safari. At time it will repeat this several times on the same item then stop. For instance I was reading an item in this forum & wanted to go "back to the forum" but got dashboard 4 times then on the 5th try back to the forum OK .
Any clues??

You may have changed the keyboard shortcut for invoking Dashboard. Open the Keyboard preference pane and select the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab. From the list on the left, select "Dashboard & Dock." Is the Dashboard shortcut active, and what is it set to?
If that's not the cause, then maybe your keyboard is malfunctioning. Try a different one.

That second one sounds like malware.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

When I open Firefox my yahoo home page comes up very odd and not usable. If I log into my e-mail it also comes up odd and not usable. (the tools across the top like delete etc don't show up.) If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe mode:
*On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut

You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.

This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.

Seems like there is some physical damage causing an intermittent issue of the iPhone being unable to power on.
You could try a reset:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
- the iphone will turn off(keep holding) then when the Apple logo appears release both buttons
If the reset fails I would suggest next time it powers on to try and back it up to either iTunes/iCloud then you can try a restore to factory settings or just back up and book an appointment at an Apple Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

FRM-41213 message will come up the first time

When users run reports in Oracle Forms from time to time, particularly after the report server engine (InitEng=1, minEng=1, maxEng=2) has been idle for a while, the FRM-41213 message will come up the first time. Then, the second time (or after that) when users try to run reports again reports come up.
It looks like, after certain idle time, all existing report server engines are killed automatically. Then, the very first call to the report server at that time will usually fail because it has exceeded the time limit to ping the report server when it is actually trying to start an engine.
Is this an issue with the server configuration? If so, is there any way to correct it?

The OAS version is actually 10.1.2.3 - latest patches applied to 10.1.2.0.2. The issue is actually intermittent and usually happens when there is a cold call to the report server from RUN_REPORT_OBJECT in Forms. When the first call fails, the second time (or after that) when the same report is called will always succeed. However, this failure pattern is consistent. I also tried to use "trcrro1012" to generate some trace files and got the following. Thanks.

Try these basic things and see if the keyboard goes away for good.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit the Kindle App and restart. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by e tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Have you updated 12 to the 12.1 Update? If not, please do so using an opened project's Help Menu/Update.
The latest version of QuickTime is a requirement for Premiere Elements. Among other things, without it you will not have QuickTime export presets when you get to the Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime exports. So, please download and install latest version of QuickTime to computer with Premiere Elements 12/12.1. QuickTime like Premiere Elements requires that it be run with you as Administrator. Is your User Account one with Administrative Privileges?

Have you verified that you are not accidentally touching the volume keys? I have personally done that from time to time.

Can anyone pls.tell me from where master data like text data comes for standard unit,time characteristics like cal.day,fiscal year,posting year, currency etc..
In info object maintainance screen, master data/text tab, I have seen Master data access,name of master data read class,para from same at bottom... I didn't get it exactly. Can anyone pls.explain it.

It is not mandatory to add the new entry to ECC and then transfer the global settings to BW. The entry if is not needed in ECC can be directly maintained in the BW tables. There are T00* tables in system which stores the unit, date, currency, fiscal year master data.
It is a good practice though to maintain it in ECC and transfer it to BW. There is a standard transfer program available to get these global (Currency + Date) settings in BW. The program is RSIMPCUST (For transfer of global settings), and RSIMPCURR (Exchange rates). You could schedule these programs at needed intervals by going to transaction RSA1 in BW. Source systems tab -> Right click on source system name -> Transfer global settings & exchange rates.
