Data Analysis Plus won't install. OS 8.1 with MS Office Professional Plus 2013

Hi. I am trying to install Data Analysis Plus and it won't install. An error occurs stating that:
The value of the property 'type' cannpt be parsed. The error is: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.BusinessApplications.Fba, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find

I have never had any other OS or MS Office version installed on this computer. I am running OS 8.1 and MS Office Professional 2013. I have tried to use the alternative version of installation by placing files in the appropriate folders, but to no avail.
Please help! Thank you!

Anyone have any ideas on what is causing the corruption and how to prevent it?
BTW, if I re-copy/paste the corrupted section from the source file, it appears correct...for awhile...and, then, later, I'll notice that it has become "corrupted" again.  I have *not* compared various corrupted sections
to see if the corruption texts are identical each time.

    Thanks for the reply, Melon.
I disabled the only 2 Add-ins that were present - [COM Add-Ins > Sharing Add-in for Microsoft Lync 2010] and [Actions > Instant Messaging Contcts (English)].
This did not fix the issue.  After they were disabled (and they currently still are), I copied back un-corrupted text from my good source file and the text at the end of the document has become corrupted again.  Except for the ][Languages] section,
which is much further up in the document, the corruption seems to be consistenly near the end of the document.
I tried to highlight some of the corrupted text and change font, as suggested, and the text just becomes corrupted text in the new font.  :-)
I notice that, if I start selecting text (starting from a paragraph mark above the corrupted text - I always keep hidden formatting symbols turned on), as I "arrow down", the "selection" includes lines in blocks lower down -- that is, the corrupted text is
    repeated down the page.
Since this may not make sense, I'd be glad to upload samples of the good, original, source text and the corrupted "versiion" of it.
I still need to test the file on one of my computers at home.
    Thanks.

    Hi David,
Are you installing Office 2013 with a CD or source files on your local drive?
The log above tells us that the failure occurred during the install of the ProPlusWW.msi. "1603" is a generic MSI error code, so doesn't help much here.
I noticed below part in your attached log:
    "2015/02/06 15:36:55:270::[6108] MSI(INFO): '02/06/2015 15:36:55.254 [3892]: Assembly Install: Failing with hr=80070005 at RemoveDirectoryAndChildren, line 396"
The error code 0x80070005 is also described as ACCESS DENIED, so you might want check your permissions and make sure you are running as admin.
Also, if you are installing with a CD, then please try a flat installation (which means perform an installation from an image that has been copied to a hard drive rather than directly from CD media), and see if issue persists. This can help
with problematic software installations because performing a flat copy is much easier for the computer than the random access reads required during a normal installation.

  • Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 VBA error

This question has been asked many times and I have yet to find an answer that actually works.  I am running Windows 7 Professional with Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010.  It has been working perfectly until now.  When I start Word I
get the error "Microsoft Access 2010 requires Visual Basic for Applications.  If you continue, Visual Basic will be installed."  This then starts a series of uneventful installations one after the other until finally stopped and then an
error report with instructions opens and talks about macro security settings.  This only happens when opening Word - not any other Microsoft Office programs.  By the way, changing those security settings did not work.
I have tried all "fixes" offered and nothing has worked including registry changes and even Microsoft's Fixit.  What am I missing?

    Hi,
I'm not quite sure what you have already tried. I would suggest you try to launch Word 2010 in
safe mode and see if issue persists:
Press Win + R and type "winword.exe /safe" in the blank box, then press
    Enter.
Some have reported that it was caused by some third party add-ins and disabling all the add-ins fixed the issue. Please have a try and feel free to post back with any findings.

  • Office Professional Plus 2010 - Fails to Install - Error 25004 - "System error: -1073418209" - Microsoft Key Management Server

I am receiving an error when attempting to install a site license copy of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. The enterprise environment that I am in is using a Microsoft Key Management Server for the authentication of all Office 2010 and Windows 7
installations. The error that I receive at the end of the installation is: "Error 25004. The product key you entered cannot be used on this machine. This is most likely due to previous Office 2010 trials being installed. (System error: -1073418209)".
I have never installed a trial of Office 2010, nor did I ever install the beta of Office 2010. I do have a copy of Microsoft Office Projects 2010 installed. Before attempting to install Office 2010, I had Office 2007 installed. I used the Upgrade option
to install 2010, instead of removing 2007 (which apparently I should have done instead) first. I have tried using the Microsoft FixIt tool to remove both Office 2007 AND Office 2010. Neither of those tools has fixed my problem. Office 2010 also does not show
up in my Add/Remove Programs list.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I do not have time to reformat until after the Holiday seasons, and need to have Office working!

    Hi,
The full error text is as follows: Error 25004: The product key you entered cannot be used on this machine.
This is most likely due to previous Office 2010 trials being installed. (System error: 1073422308)
The key you are currently trying to install with, is an Office Professional Plus Trial key. A machine will allow one Professional Plus Trial key installed on it ever. Meaning you can
install a trial on a machine, used it for some time, uninstall Office. When you go back to the Microsoft website and get a new key, the second installation will be rejected with the above error message.
If this is not the situation, try to completely uninstall all the versions of the Office programs from control panel, and then use the suggestions in this KB
    article to uninstall it:
How do I uninstall Office 2003, Office 2007 or Office 2010 suites if I cannot uninstall it from Control Panel?
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
Then, reinstall the Office 2010 program.

  • Fails to activate Office Professional Plus 2013 Trial

    Hello
Yesterday I downloaded from Microsoft evaluation center the Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 Trial. The installation completed successfully but when I am trying to activate Office using the email address that I use to download the application,
I receive a message saying that "The email *****@live.com isn't related to this Office product subscription. The activation cannot proceed".
Why it doesn't recognize my email address since is this that I used to download the product?
    Thank you

    Hi,
It seems you tried to activate Office with the registered account. Which language did you download then?
I visited http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-office-professional-plus-2013 and downloaded the Chinese (Simplified) version of Office Professional
Plus 2013. Before downloading it prompted a trial product key which is used to activate the trial version:
Please try to activate the trial version of Office with the trial product key instead of the registered account, check the result again.

  • Add Microsoft Publisher to Office Professional Plus 2013

    Hi,
I'm trying to do a command-line installation to add Microsoft Publisher 2013 to an existing Office Professional Plus 2013. It was assumed that our staff would not need it, but as we have already received one request to get it installed, and the school year
has not yet started, we assume that others will also need it, measuring possibly in the hundreds or thousands. As a result, I'm looking for a batch scripting option.
Via other postings, I found it was possible to script the uninstall of the Office Upload Center via:
    msiexec /i{90150000-0011-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE} REMOVE=WxpFiles
I'm looking to find something similar to add Microsoft Publisher. I know that the Office Customization Tool exists, but quite honestly, I don't have time to learn how to use it. I'd prefer not to send my network technicians out to the computers, especially
when there should be better options, but if it comes down to only the GUI, then only the GUI it is.

I'm still not entirely clear as to how this would work. If, for example, I use an MSP to add Publisher, then the user also then needs Outlook, would the Outlook MSP also need to have Publisher set to "Run all from my computer", or could that one just add
Outlook? I havent had a chance to run the OCT yet, my firewall consumed my day today.
By the way, it is exactly this type of question why I was looking for the way to add it via an msiexec flag. If I can remove a part of the Office installation that way, it seems to on me that I should be able to add one as well, even if it is not "the best
    way" or "the right way".
You will need to try it out and see how it plays in your environment.
In my environment, we initially customised Office such that InfoPath was set to "Not Available". Subsequently, a need for InfoPath was identified, so I grabbed the original MSPfile which I deployed Office with (sans InfoPath), modified that to set InfoPath=RunFromMyComputer,
set that to [F]orce,  then pushed msiexec /p enableInfoPath.msp, to those computers which needed InfoPath.
Note that I re-used the previous/existing customisation file (the file which already had all features other than InfoPath set to enabled), and toggled the feature state of InfoPath.

  • SharePoint site connection with Office Professional Plus 2013 on Terminal Server

    Hi,
    Background info:
We use multiple Office 365 E3 subscriptions (12 now) and also have an Windows Server 2008 R2 Terminal Server.
The users may install Office 365 Pro Plus on their local machines and are able to connect to SharePoint online with the Office applications. Now not everyone has a PC so they log in to one of the two Windows Server 2008 R2 Terminal Servers. I do
however want one big happy family working with SharePoint so I installed Office Professional Plus 2013 and tweaked the Group Policies so that the start up screen and movie arent beeing showed.
When I log in with my test user on the Terminal Server (who has a E3 subscription) I miss the feature to add a location (to connect to the SharePoint site). I just do not have that feature. When I log in with my domain administrator account who also
has an E3 subscription, I am able to add a connection.
There is SO much info on the web about Office 365/Terminal Servers etc but I am not able to find what I was looking for.
    Question:
What do I need to do so our Domain Users who log in to the Windows Server 2008 R2 Terminal Server are able to open/save files directly to the SharePoint site? How do I add the SharePoint location as shown in the image:

    Hi,
SharePoint would not exist when Office 2013 initial installed.  After you save a file to a SharePoint library for the first time, you can click
Save as you do for any file. Please try the following steps:
    1) Add the document (Word file) to a document library on a SharePoint 2013 site
    2) Click on the file within the SharePoint document library.
    3) Click open in Excel
    4) Save the file
    5) Close Excel
    6) Open Excel, select new Blank Workbook, File, Save As, "SharePoint" should now appear.

of the solutions listed on the Microsoft websites and answers deal with
    "Restore" functions, not the
"Backup" itself. I have 3 folders being skipped during the backup.
So I went and changed the Backup from "let Microsoft choose files, directories, etc" to "Let me choose". I included the files and folders that were being skipped, and ran the "Backup" again, and got the same error message,
but the files that were skipped the first time were "Backed up" finally. This issue is somehow related to my "Libraries"?
    The 3 backup problems are:
Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\My Audio Books\Audio Book Recordings. Error:(The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003))
Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\My Audio Books\Audio Book CD Label-Cover Art. Error:(The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003))
Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\My Audio Books\Audio Book MP3 Tag Art. Error:(The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003))
Did a "checkdisk" - no problems. Ran a program to fix registry - no problems. All updates up to date. I guess I could eliminate these folders from the Backup folders in the
Library, and just choose them under the "Users" locations, and be done with it. But I really want to understand this, and fix it. This is within Windows 7 and may be related to Windows Media Player or
    some recent Windows update.  Thanks.

  • Locating the Product Key office professional plus 2010

A few years ago, I purchased MS Office Professional Plus 2010 32 bit, through a military member purchase program. I filed the disc away, in it's original, cardboard sleeve packaging, without opening it. Now, I have a new computer and want to install. However,
I can't find the Product Key. Help!

You can obtain a new product key by contacting North America Customer Service (NACS) at (800) 936-5700. A new key can be generated only
if you have retail copy of the software (DVD) or downloaded version through Digital River or Microsoft Store.
Note There may be a charge to obtain a new product key from Microsoft ACS. When you contact ACS for a new product key,
make sure that you have the following items available:
The product CD or DVD, if the product came on disc
The computer on which you want to install the product
The readable parts of your original product key, if this information is available
The "inner circle" number on the product disc, as shown in the following graphic

  • MS Office Professional Plus 2010 cannot verify the license (in use for more than a year)

After more than a year of use, I now receive the following error message for all Office Applications ....
"Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 cannot verify the license for this product. You should repair the Office program by using the Control Panel." When I Click the OK button, the application is terminated.
I tried using the Control Panel to repair Office, and I have tried to re-install Office. I still get the same message. Note, during repair or installation, my Product ID key is accepted.

It is working. If you have 64bit machine please type cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14 --> cscript
    ospp.vbs /act
    Thank you

  • I cant activate my trial of office professional plus 2013 to work as it will not accept the product key

I downloaded a 60 day trial version of office professional plus 2013. I dont think I activated it straight away and then when I tried to activate using the product key, I get trial configuration not completed successfully. Error 25004. Product key cannot
be used on this machine. This is most likely due to previous office 2013 trials being installed.(system error : -1073422308) then another pop up says Repair office product suggested (system error: 0x800761ac). I have  not trialed this version fully as
yet but would like to so how can I sort this out?

    Hi,
You can use the following method to repair your office 2013 and check if it works fine:
    1.Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features;
2.Click either Quick Repair or Online Repair.
You might need to restart your computer after the repair is complete.
If it doesn’t work, for the Error 25004, you should uninstall the existing version of Microsoft Office 2013 as mentioned in this KB:
