Data DVD from iTunes not working - please help
I burned a 4 GB playlist as a data DVD from iTunes 7.
I am trying to put the files on a PC running iTunes 7, and NOTHING is happening. The drive in the PC is DVD-rom and all other DVD's work fine.
What's the deal?

This is how you get songs into iTunes.
Open iTunes.
Inset the DVD.
Go to File -> Add File (or folder) to iTunes and select the files/folders on the DVD.
The DVD is not going to show up in iTunes because it is not an audio CD. It is a data DVD.
Do not try to Import the DVD because Import is used for audio CDs only.

I think you misunderstood the guy. The up-to-date program isn't working for a lot of people. I'm eligible for the free upgrade but it fails to recognise my serial. From what I've read, this is affecting a lot of people who purchased their computers online. Apple seems to be fixing the issue though, so my advice would be to keep trying. Alternatively, click on the manual verificaton link so they can check your order for you and send the redemption code after they do.

My cd/dvd reader is not working at all, when I put any cd or dvd on it, the led of the reader starts blinkin but then it stops and nothing happens. I backed up my Iphone to itunes so i can do the new Update to IOs 7 and so now that i updated it i want to backup and restore and its not working, Please help!
An iPhone backup to a computer via iTunes stores the photos in a backup file that is only meant to be be used if needed to restore back to the phone. There is 3rd party "extractor" software available but otherwise the photos are not directly viewable.
The backup via iTunes was a good idea and your Camera Roll photos should be there and should be able to be restored to your new phone. However if it was me I wouldn't rely on that alone. I would also import the photos to a computer where you can see and verify that you have a copy. That is a good idea at any time (not just when you know you might need it). Any phone can be lost, broken, suffer hardware issues, etc at any time and lose all data on it. If you are running Lion or Mountain Lion, the drivers are downloaded from within Bootcamp Assistant. If you are running Snow Leopard the drivers are on your Snow Leopard install disk.

Hours and Hours of renaming, adding cover photos and so on have been for nothing. Itunes cannot find the files since they're not in the library at all!
I still have the music on my computer but don't want to add it as it is, as I have spent a lot of time "fixing" it! PLEASE HELP!Did you use spotlight to search? (I'm assuming you have a Mac as given above despite this thread being in the Windows forum). How long have you used iTunes on this computer? Is there a backup to your library, perhaps an only copy of it on a machine you've "retired". Is the media present in the media folder? (Yes, you've answered that earlier.) If so then the media files should have absorbed all the tag changes that you made and reimporting the media into a new library might not be a complete disaster, though playlists, playcounts, ratings etc. would be irretrievably lost.

I live in South Africa, and I had the same problem with my iPhone 4.
After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.

I would imagine your iPhone was hacked to make it work on your local carrier.
Updating the iOs to 5.xx will lock it back to the original carrier .The carrier holding the lock are the only
entity able to authorise the unlock .You will have to contact them and see if they unlock and the terms the apply
