Data element automatically gets deleted

hi sapiens,
I am working with invoice form rvinvoice01.i have cretaed my own invoice form editing standard one. i have included all the data elements in the main window as in the standard one .but when i print the invoice in vfo2 it is showing data element mnot defined in main window.
if i see that in se71 the data elemt gets deleted automatically .every time i am including it and saving it but it gets deletyed .what to do.?????

Hello Manikandam,
No your print program will not have text element by default. It s not like when you add a element to the script, it gets autogenerated in print program. You have to put it in print program. You can search for the element in the script. It will show in write_form fm  under elements.
And I do not have any clue how something is getting deleted from script just like that. Could you give an extract from the script what you have done after activating. Just put from 2 lines before that also.
Regards
Indrajit.

    Hi,
I think I had something similar once. The thing I did then was deleted the task and created a new one, and let SAP generate the container elements of the task from the method. Then I inserted and the task in the workflow and did the binding and it worked.
So maybe an option to try.

  • Music from iPod automatically gets deleted when I plugged it in

When the iPod is being plugged in, the songs that exist in the iPod and not on the computer are automatically deleted from the iPod. In case there're some confusion, I'll just make an example.
Say I have two musics, "Yellow by Coldplay" and "Rockstar by Nickelback" on my iPod. And I only have "Yellow" on my computer. "Rockstar" will automatically be deleted from my iPod.
I was wondering what could be causing this. Help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

*When the iPod is being plugged in, the songs that exist in the iPod and not on the computer are automatically deleted from the iPod.*
That's perfectly normal when your iPod is set to update automatically (sync). Sync is short for syncronise. When your iPod is is set to sync all music and playlists it automatically picks up any changes you made to iTunes since you last connected. Anything you added to iTunes will be added to the iPod, anything you deleted from iTunes will be deleted from the iPod. In other words the two libraries are kept "in sync".
If you want to delete songs from iTunes and keep them on the iPod you need to change the update option of your iPod to "manually manage music and videos". Your iPod will not sync with iTunes in this mode so it can have different content, you can get details here:
    Managing content manually on iPod
    iPod 101: Fill 'er Up
One major word of caution. If you delete songs or videos from your computer and have no back up other than the iPod you will risk losing them permanently if your iPod fails or you find you have to restore it to solve a problem. You should consider investing in an additional internal or external hard drive to store/back up your music. Alternatively at the very least back up anything you can't replace such as iTunes downloads to CD or DVD: How to back up your media in iTunes
Something else to be aware of when using an iPod in manual mode is that the "Do Not Disconnect" message will remain on the display until you physically eject the device. In that case use Safely Remove Hardware icon in the Windows system tray on your desktop or check this link: Safely Disconnect IPod

  • How to insert data elements automatically?

    Hi,
I am developing an ADF (JSF, BC) application with JDev 10. What I've done up to now is an creation form, where you can put in the attributes of an object which are stored to the database by clicking the commit-button.
This works well. What do I have to do if I want to automically create a primary key which should be added to the same row by clicking the commit-button? In general I would like to know, how to automatically write elements to the database in case of certain events. Is this realized with mananged beans or do I have to alter the class of the entity object. I've searched for this toppic in the Developers Guide but found nothing.
I don't have much experience with Java, so if this problem could be solved with Java-Code, it would be nice if you could give me a source where I can read how to program this.
    Thank you in advance.

Use a database sequence to create the unique key and use the DBSequence type for the attribute in your EO that maps to this key.
Search for DBSequence in the ADF Developer Guide and you'll see it.

Try to adjust the database tables using SE14 transaction.
SE!4 --> Enter table name MC11VA0ITMSETUP -->Select radio button "tables" --> click on Edit -->Select processing type "Background" --> Click on "Activate and Adjust database".
Here before performing the Activate and Adjust database function -- first try to check the data base object (click on check button and select database object --ok) if every thing is ok then proceed with the above steps.
Next try to delete the setup tables and check.. hope this should work.
Try to check the logs in SM21 and also check if the data source is active or not before deleting the setup tables.

  • Images and videos keep getting deleted automatical...

Recently upgraded to symbian anna for my nokia N8, but keep having problems with it. All new and old images got automatically deleted. everytime I take new photos, they automatically get deleted as soon as battery gets low or cell gets switched off or restarted for any reason. what to do? please please help!! whats the use of 12 megapixel camera if cant store photos..

Im afraid it sounds like your device memory has corrupted, have you deleted or removed any applications or software on the device that may have caused this to happen?
The only way to fix this problem would be to do a hard reset, However before doing this go into mass memory storage and recover whatever image, video and contact files you can (I am aware that you said most of them are .lnk now), and try to manually back up your media and information that you would like to keep, also create a full phone back up using Ovi Suite (this most likely wont be used, because if you where to use this back up after the hard reset the problem would probably persist however its nice to keep it just incase!).
After doing a hard reset, put your phone back into Mass memory storage and manually put back your media and other information.
If your phone still isnt fixed, restore your phone using the full back up made in Ovi Suite, created before the hard reset.
If your problem STILL persists, You will have to take your phone to a local Nokia Care Point and have a technical expert take a look at it.
    I really hope this helps!
    Sheldrick

  • Creating link on report elements to get more info

    Hello,
I have created a data model in BI publisher which integrates two data models one from BI Answser (a query ) and One from source data (a table)
I have linked an element on the BI Answer data model to the corresponding lement in the source table. to get more information on that data element.
I want to be able to create a report and click on that data element and get detail information about it. Do you know who I can do this?
    Thanks

  • Purch Req get deleted once the maintenance order is TECO'ed

    Guys,
Purchase requistion is automatically get deleted once I do the TECO, I think there should be a config to restrict this. Could anyopne knwo what I need to do for this. Thanks.

    Hi Praveen ,
TECO is assigned to work which is Technically completed (Physical work  completed ).
When Maintenance work required for the Order is completed , it means that excess material and services planned are no longer required.
Hence Purchase requisition is automatically get deleted once you do the TECO .
Any purchase requisitions that have not been converted into purchase orders are deleted . This is standard functionality.
Though system allows you to do the following
    a)Locked or Unlocked
    b)Set deletion flag
    c) you can still post some cost like invoice receipt for material delivered or consumed
User Exits will surely help you in this Scenario ,  Your ABAP team will be able to help you here  .
    Regards
