Data Extraction.Init & Delta for datasource 0CRM_CONF_COSTS ControllingData

Dear Experts,
We are facing problem with Data Extraction for BW. Prerequisites all checked and done.
No data for Initial & Delta upload for datasource 0CRM_CONF_COSTS,
0CRM_SRV_CO_PLAN and 0CRM_C_ITEM
Other related data source 0CRM_SRV_COSTS and 0CRM_SERVICE_COSTS we are getting data.
Request your help on this issue.

Hi krishna,
yes we did enhancement to this data source. In PRDOCTION its taking 27 hours time to load data.
For extraction from source system (CRM) its taking nearly 24 hours time as per JOb LOG .

like this its taking 24 hours in extraction its self.

Incase of Full and delta loads how does the data will be taken from R/3 to BW,DO we need to fill setup tables ?

Hi Shankar.
HR Datasources do not have setup tables . Though before implementation, certain customizations should be done and the delta loads have dependency on other data sources. Also you must have implemented Support Package SAPKH46C32, or have made the relevant corrections in SAP Note 509592.

No delta for Datasource

In RSA3, I am not able to extract the delta for the datasource 0GM_DO05. But when it is on full update then i am gettign the records, when i changed to "D" it is giving me the error 'Errors occurred during the extraction' and the error messege says
"Errors occurred during the extraction
Message no. RJ012
I have checked Datasource in the ROOSOURCE Table for this datasource the DELTA IS - ADD
It works ok in DEV and QA but my PROD is where the problem is.
Can anyone help?

I have been doing full loads with no problems but when I try to initialise with no data transfer, thats when my problem starts.
So what I did was to go to the source system and changed the extractor checker to D or S update modes. The error occurs in RSA6. I will try to run the extraction again in debug mode an dsee if there is anything I can find.
I have given the datasource as well.
Any other ideas?

i want to make a delta for datasource of 0hr_pa_1 and 0hr_pa_0,because our transction data are not maitain on time, so the full update which depend on the time will lost many data, could you give me some suggustion pls? thanks

Unable to change Extract structure MC03BF0 for DataSource 2LIS_03_BF

Hi all
In LBWE in R/3, I need the change the extract structure MC03BF0 for DataSource 2LIS_03_BF, by including some fields from MCMSEG pool. On including these fields from MCMSEG pool on the right side table to the left side table, and on confirming these entries, I get the following error message,
' Struct. from appl. 03 due to open V3 proc. not changed '.
The long text for this message is :
'Diagnosis
Changing the extract structure MC03BF0 of application 03 is not allowed as there are no V3 update entries for the update module MCEX_UPDATE_03.
If an extract structure is changed for which there are still open V3 updates, these can no longer be updated and the V3 collective update is terminated.
Procedure
Start the V3 update using the "Job Control" function in the customizing cockpit (transaction yDS:TRAN.LBWE>LBWE) or delete those update entries that are already incorrect. You will find these in the update overview.'
Please guide me with what is to be done so that I can maintain the extract structure.

Jelina,
I think still some records available at SM13 clear it aswell.
Clear records at LBWQ, SM13, RSA7, Setuptables in all CLIENTS of R/3 and check.
Still a problem, then instead of enhancing datasource from RSA6, take extract structure name and enhance from SE11.
P.S: Its better to create a new post by referencing same thread, so you can close call by assigning poings.

Init Delta for 0FIGL_O06 required?

Quick question for everyone.
I need to delete and re-load data in 0FIGL_O06 due to some missing deltas (which are no longer avail in PSA). If I look back at the requests in the ODS now (done by my predecessor) I don't see an INIT delta...just delta loads starting several months ago.
If I need to delete and reload do I first need to run an INIT DELTA load?

Hi Barnaby,
I guess there are so many requests that you are not able to see the Init request in the display. Change the display selection criteria and see if you can see the Init request. The delta requests can not run without init request. Hope this helps.

Master Data always in EN for datasource 0BBP_H_SUBTYPE_TEXT

I'm using standard datasource 0BBP_H_SUBTYPE_TEXT and i'm having some problems when i extract data from SRM.
When i run RSA3 in SRM, i got records in PT langu with all texts but when i execute the infopackage, i only get records in EN langu. The infoobject has alreay records in BW in PT, only in EN.
What shoul i do? I've ODS filled with this infobject.
When i execute the infopackage, system send a message warning that langu field must be filled, but i don't know how to fill this field.

I've checked transferstructure and this field is filled with 0langu and it uses the routine ISOLA.
In quality system, i 've texts in EN and in PRD i've texts only in PT.
Do i have to do any translation in SRM? My source system in SRM.

How to enable delta for Datasource 0HR_PT_1

Hi BW Gurus,
I am trying to extract records for the period from 01/05/2007 to 01/02/2007. But it is extracting all the full update records instead of extracting only this period records. I checked in R/3 using RSA3. Here it is displaying only 188 records for this period. So please suggest me how to get only this period records or else how can I enable delta to get modified/newly added records.
Plz suggest me as it is urgetnt.

I need to know about the extraction process from SRM. Is there a tool available like LO Cockpit in SRM for extraction and how can we manage the delta in it. Or i can use the T-code RSA5 for that and follow the normal process. If I can get some documentation that can give me an idea for data extraction and delta management in SRM that would be appreciated. Any kind of help will be welcome.

SRM doesn't use kind of "cockpit" LO-like in ECC.

Not getting the data for delta for 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT in RSA3

In RSA3, I am not able to extract the delta for the datasource ASSET_ATTR_TEXT. But when it is on full update then i am gettign the records, when i changed to "D" it is giving me the error 'Errors occurred during the extraction' and the error messege says
"Errors occurred during the extraction
Message no. RJ012
Diagnosis
During the extraction phase an error occurred for the extractor. An exception, 'error_passed_to_mess_handler' was triggered.
System Response
A more precise description of the error can be found in the log.
Procedure
Check the function module or the call from the extractor check program
Kindly provide some inputs on the same

I have checked Datasource in the ROOSOURCE Table for this datasource the DELTA IS - AIE. And do did the Init from the BW i got 8210 recods.Then i executed the Delta Pack. there was an error happend.
But When i loaded Delta i got the error as :
Diagnosis
         Not all the initialization requests have been completed yet for this
    DataSource, or there may be an incorrect initialization request.
System response
No delta requests can be processed whilst there is an initialization
    request that has not been completed.
Procedure                                                     Wait until the initialization request has finished, or delete the entry
    for the incorrect initialization request from the corresponding display
    in the Scheduler.

Delta not working for datasource 0CRM_SRV_IBASE_TRAN

Hi All
We are facing problem with setting up delta for datasource 0CRM_SRV_IBASE_TRAN after transporting to QA system.
In QA System:
a.Initialization and Full load has worked successfully and it did fetch the
records.
b.But the newly created records are not coming through delta.
c.Moreover delta is working in Dev but not in QA environment. All the transports
have gone in successfully from Dev to QA system.
d.Only difference we found between dev & QA is: Datasource not listed in SMQ1(Outbound Queue) whereas it is listed in Dev System
We have already checked & ensure that following things are in order:
Source System Checks:
1.Init successfully in place. Entry present in RSA7.
2.SMW01 checked.
3.BWA5 & BWA7 checked.
4.GNRWB checked
5.No entry present in SMQ1 in QA system but its present in Dev system???
BW Checks:
6.Datasource replication done. Info source activated.
Would appreciate any help on this.

Hi Pramod,
SMQ1 will only show an entry, when there are available data for the delta queue, i.e. someone has made a change or added new data.So checking RSA7 and SMQ1 will give the same result, if RSA7 shows more than 0 entries.
The problem may be the init. What init did you do: an init with data, or an init without data, or an init with a filter. Experience with our CRM system tells me, best way to initialize any CRM data is to do a full data init (without filter) or a init without data (without filter). I wonder about the FULL load you mentioned ? When did you do it ?

CATS data extraction

Hi,
We are implementing flow for CATS(Hr) data in SAP BI.
I underastand the mechanism for extraction and delta for the data sources 0CA_TS_IS_1 and 0CA_TS_IS_2.
and i Searched for best practices for CATS data extraction, I did not get any documents on this.
Can some share their experiances on this or some documents ?

SPM data extraction question: invoice data

The documentation on data extraction (Master Data for Spend Performance Management) specifies that Invoice transactions are extracted from the table BSEG (General Ledger) . On the project I'm currently working the SAP ERP team is quite worried to run queries on BSEG as it is massive.
However extract files are called BSIK and BSAK of; which seems to suggest that the invoices are in reality extracted from those accounts payable tables.
Can someone clarify the tables really used, and if it's the BSIK/BSAK tables what fields are mapped?

Few additional mitigation thoughts which may help on the way as same concerns came up during our project .
1) Sandbox Stress testing
If available u2013 take advantage of an ECC Sandbox environment for extractor prototyping and performance impact analysis. BSEG can be huge (contains all financial movements), so e.g. BI folks typically do not fancy a re-init load for reasons outlined above. Ask basis to copy a full year of all relevant transactional data (normally FI & PO data) onto the sandbox and then run the SPM extractors for a full year extraction to get an idea about extraction system impact.
Even though system sizing and parameters may differ compared to your P-box you still should get a reasonable idea and direction about system impact.
2) In a second step you may then consider to break down the data extraction (Init/Full mode for your project) into 12 monthly extracts for the full year (this gives you 12 files from which you Init your SPM system with) with significant less system impact and more control (e.g. can be scheduled over night).
3) Business Scenario
You may consider to use the Vendor related movements in BSAK/BSIK instead the massive BSEG cluster table as starting tables (and fetch/lookup BSEG details only on a need base) for the extraction process (Index advantages were outlined above already).
Considering this we managed to extract Invoice data with reasonable source system impact.
