Data from check boxes fails to be collected, when sending the PDF as email

Hi
I am working on an interactive PDF that should act as an ordersheet for clients to fill out. I am using Acrobat Pro 9, and everything works as intended, but when the client tries to send the order by email (By pressing a button that uses "submit a form" as actio, where it sends the whole PDF to a single email), the pdf pops up in the email client, and everything looks fine, except all of the checkboxes. None of them have been checked, even though the client have done so. I have searched the forums without luck, so now i am trying in here.
I have made sure that the client is using the version, that has the extended reader rights.
If you feel need additional information regarding the PDF, just ask.

Edit>Preferences>Email accounts>List of email accounts. Click the drop-down that says "add account" and select Gmail. After adding it, you can go to the account area and change it to default.

Passing data from check FM

Hi,
Wanted to know how to pass data from check FM to workflow container?
We are not able to add parameters for event container as it is standard event.
Can we set attribute of object ? I could not find macro for setting property.

Hi Akshay,
Trying to pass data from check FM to workflow container is the wrong approach to use. The purpose of a check FM is ONLY to see if the workflow should be started by the event or not. You cannot and should not even attempt to change the event container in a check FM.
What you need to do is to take a step back and think about your options:
1. "Not able to add parameters ... as it is a standard event". Well you can extend the event parameters on a standard event by creating a delegated subtype of the standard object type. However if the event is raised by standard code this may not help you anyway. It's worth reading the SAP Library doco on this as some types of events do pass additional information provided you define the event parameter names correctly, e.g. change document events will automatically pass the old/new value of certain fields.
2. Is the data you are trying to pass related to:
a) The object - then use attributes of the object instead to calculate the value
b) The person creating the event - then use attributes of the event creator, i.e. as soon as the workflow starts, add a step to instantiate an instance of an object representing the user such as USR01 or USR01DOHR.
c) Other standard data in the event container such as the calling program id, the date/time - any of that info can be passed to your workflow container and then used to derive further info from there.
3. If the data you are trying to pass is only available in the standard calling application, then you need to find another way to raise the event or raise a custom event. E.g. in a user exit or BADI.
4. And one final option of last resort - create your own RECEIVER function module - this does allow you to fill the workflow container during the event linkage. But I would still consider this a "last resort" option.

1) The best is to do the test. In my case, my customer was just doing this transfer (in full) to perform tests on the BEX reportings. Actually, they never raised any issue regarding document number when they did additional postings in test system... I would also say that during the transfer, the number counter in Qual gets not synchronized with the one in Prod. So, I think the system will just take the next number available in Qual. Should not be an issue.
2) As explained in answer 1), in my case, the purpose was not to perform data migration from one system to the other one. Thus, my customer never performed a subsequent consolidation in the target system. But, basically, the transfer copies all data : posting levels 00 to 30, for all periods you have selected + Additional financial data and sequence of activities. Thus, for me, everyhting is available in the target system, including COI documents. In other words, the "picture" regarding the data should be exactly the same between both system. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the customizing : it must be the same in Qual and Prod (example : date of acquisition and divestiture, structure of the group, etc...).
Another very important thing, is that your export data source must not be enriched due to the BCS Delta load scenario. If it is the case, the system will write the consolidation logic (i-e the consolidation group + reporting mode) when transferring the data from the source Real Time Infocube to the Target Real time infocube, which will lead to inconsistent data in the target system.

Load Data from a table on one server's database, to the same table structure in multiple server databases

I have a situation where i have to load data from one server/database table to multiple servers/databases.
Example:
I need to load data from dbo.TABLE_A (on Server: Server_A & Database: Database_A) to the same table on the list of server databases like
Server: Server_B , Database: Database_B
Server: Server_C , Database: Database_C
Server: Server_D , Database: Database_D
Server: Server_E , Database: Database_E
Server: Server_F , Database: Database_F
Server: Server_G , Database: Database_G
Server: Server_H , Database: Database_H
so on and so forth on 250 such server database combinations.
The table structure is the same on all the servers.
If i make the source or destination dynamic, it throws an error while mapping ?
I cannot get Linked server permissions and SQL Server Config thing doesn't work as well.
Please suggest on how to load data from one source to multiple server/databases.

I just need to transfer one table's data. its like i have to use a query to pick data for
the most recent data. So i use something like, select A, B, C, D from dbo.table where ETL_TIMESTAMP > (the max(etltimestamp) in the destination on different server). There are no foreign key relationships and the data should not be truncated. it just had

Here's an easy way:
Pick the user that you want to eliminate (making sure that the remaining user has administrator privileges) and move all of the data that you want to keep into the Shared folder. Reboot or log out and login to the user you want to keep. Copy all the data from the Shared folder into your account - placing it neatly in folders (Documents, Music, Movies, etc.).
Once the data is moved, log into the account you want to delete just once more to make certain that you've grabbed all the data you want to keep. Log out and log back into your admin account and go to System Preferences>Users & Groups and delete the 'old' user.
That should do it.

I have this exact problem. I have 3 email addresses on my mac and I can select one, and the email still be sent through another account and I won't know it until I get a reply for that email in one of the other accounts.

I have a combobox where it shows the Botanical name, and the Norwegian name. But the rest of the info has to be shown in separate movieclips.
Anyone have an idea how to do this? Can I use the trace function maybe? Here is my AS3 code so far:

Hi! And thank you for helping. Planter is my root node. I tried removing "Planter" from xml.Planter.Lauvtre. It didn't fetch any data then. My code works as is, but what I want the code to do, is to put these 3:
    <Farge>Grønn</Farge>
    <Herdighet>H4</Herdighet>

...into separate textfields.

How do I retrieve data from combo boxes?

The past weekend I spent my whole weekend trying to find this
out and gone through the top 10 pages on google trying all sorts of
things. I would be grateful for anyone who can help me.
I have 6 combo boxes in a booking form and I need to retrieve
the data when someone click submits which gets forwarded on to php
then my mailbox. They are called box1_cb, box2_cb.....box6_cb All
in the instance of: ComboBox - which I don't understand what that
does.
it does not seem to be retrieving any of the data. For each
combo box:
I have the the options people can choose form in "Labels" box
under "Paramaters", nothing for "Data", Row Count is 8 and nothing
for "Change Handler" which I don't know what it does.
Can anyone please provide some help with telling me what
"change handler" does, do I need the data for each combo box in the
"Labels" parameter as well as the "Data" box, what an instance does
(for combo boxes) and what I need to put in the actionscript for
the submit button as well as do i need to put code in the
actionscript for each combo box?
The options people can choose from in the combo boxes are
there when someone views the site.
Can anyone please help me..I would greatly appriciate it.

Fastest way to get data from Multiple lists across multiple site collections

I need to get data from multiple lists which spread across 20 site collections and need to show it as list view.
I have searched on internet about this and got some info like options would be to use search core APIs or BCS . I can't use search because I want real time data. Not sure of any other ways.

Might LINQ be an option for you? Using
LINQPad and the
SharePoint Connector, you should be able to write a query that'll retrieve this data, from which you can tabulate it. I'm not sure how you'd be able to automate this any further so that it's then imported in as list.
For something more specific, I used a third party tool called the
Lightning Tools Lightning Conductor, which is essence a powerful content roll-up tool. In one of my solutions, I created a calculated column that gave an order / ranking on each item, so that when lists were combined, they'd still have some form of
order. The web part is also fairly customisable and has always proven a useful tool.

Transfering data from sand box to development server

Hi, we created some production orders using co01 t-code in sand box. we would like to copy / move those orders in development server. is it possible? if yes pls guide me. thanking you in advance.

Please tell us why do you want to move the production order from sandbox to development?? The number ranges and other stuff would be completely different in both the environments and hence it would be difficult to copy ONLY the production order. Also production order is a transactional data.
The other option would be to apply the transport that you created in sand box to development box..this way the config will be there and now you can create all the required master data in development box and then create the production order.
Try and revert back.
