Data in cube is different from what I loaded

A strange problem just happened... I loaded a cube from a flat file and everything looked OK. PSA has correct data. Update and transfer rules are direct assignments. nevertheless one of the characteristics change its value. I do not think a conversion routine has any influence on this although I could be wrong. For example I loaded a flat file with A = '050501' and the cube table gets loaded with '500005'. I've debugged up to update rules and the value is always correct.
If I load the cube through SEM the same thing happens. I write a value and a different value is written in the infocube.
Have any of you experienced the same issue?

How do you see the data in master data? Do you see 050501 or 50005.
Conversion may have an influence. Do you mind to delete the data in the cube, remove the conversion routine of the info object, and reload.
When you say i also loaded thru SEM, what that means?

2lis_13_vditm . which picked the data from r/3 when i see the records in the psa they r good when tried to see the same record in cube record is not avalible in the cube . only few records are filtered out inbetween psa to cube which is leading to lot of data inconsistency . they r no routines which can filter out the data . only standard sap routines .which updates the data to cube . what could be the problem . any help is apperciated and helpful and will be rewarded. thanks in advance for kind replays.

In a cube the data gets added up for similar records -
Do you have the same number of records in PSA and Cube ?
if yes - then maybe there exist similar records and the KF is getting summed up in the result.
Also how did you search for the same record in the cube ? since the characteristics go into the dim tables and all that is in the fact table is only dim ids and KFs ...
Do one thing - can you try a report on the cube and check if the data is getting summed up.
Or another workaround - put the PSA Data into an Excel file ( flat file ) and then upload it into an ODS with the same records in Production - you will know if multiple records exits and thereby find out what the problem is due to. ( Bad workaround - but cannot do it in Production)

Why are emails downloaded with the subject and from address different from what is actually in the email?

The subject and from address listed in the message pane are totally different from what is in the actual email, viewed either in the preview pane or when the email is opened. The emails are correct when viewed online. For example:
Email subject A from Sender A - email A
Email subject B from Sender B - email B
Email subject C from Sender C - email C
After downloading to Thunderbird:
Email subject A from Sender A - email A
Email subject B from Sender B - email B
Email subject C from Sender C - email A *** Subject and Sender for C but is actually email A
This started happening within the past month and appears to be random. Sometimes everything is correct. But more often there are a few that exhibit the above behavior. I have multiple email address downloading from the same domain but this problem seems to occur ostly with my main email account.

Try to rebuild the index file of the troubled folder.
Right-click the folder - Properties - Repair Folder

NIKON D5000 NEF - Lightroom 2.6 and PSE show colors quite differently from what Nikon Software show

With my Nikon D5000 DSLR camera, I took recently photos from small blue flowers. I had set-up my Nikon D5000 to create for every photo both a NEF File and a JPEG File (and had set my camera to use Automatic While Balance).
I noticed that for NEF Files Lightroom 2.6 (and also PSE 7, that uses internally Camera RAW ) shows me the blue colors of the flowers quite differently from what I see with PSE for the jpeg file. It is my impression, that it is in the Jpeg files, that the blue color is close to the reality; and that it is with the NEF Files that Lightroom and PSE show a blue color that is quite different from the reality.
I also looked at the photo files with the NIKON "View Nx" 1.3.0 Software that came with my camera. With "View Nx" the blue colors (both with the NEF file and the Jpeg File) are very vlose that what i see with PSE 7 in the jpeg file (and quite different from what I see with LR and PSE for the .NEF File).
I mentioned this problem to Nikon Support. They suggested, that Nikon Software and Adobe software use different algorithms; and that the Nikon algorithms are better/closer adapted to the Nikon cameras than the more generalized Adobe algorithms that need to support a very large number of cameras.
But ....it is Lightroom that i wish to use to process my NEF Files and PSE that I wish to use to organize my Photos. Can a LR/Camera-RAW expert help me? I would like to find a solution to see with LR and with PSE in my D5000 NEF Photo Files blue colors that are close to the reality and close to what Nikon Software shows me on my PC. Please notice that I am very far away from being a professional and that i will probably not understand complicated explanations.

An additional note, that is perhaps not relevant: I used LR to convert my NEF File into a JPEG File format and looked at the blue in the result. It looks the same as what LR and PSE show me for the .NEF File (and looks different from the jpeg file crreated by the NIKON camera).

I realize, that as a neophit I am an exot among the community of photo-experts and photo-professionals addressed by LR. Therefore the wish that I will now express is perhaps inadequate. But since it is gently, that i express this wish, I am probably allowed to do so......
My wish for a future version of LR, is that LR comes out of the box with a "reasonable" interpretation of the RAW images of most important/widespread modern cameras....without requiring that non-experts like me gets confronted from the very beginning with the need to develop their own default settings.
For this wish, I will formulate a Feature Request.
You might wonder, why a non-expert like me is interested in LR instead of using those Photo-Editing Software (e.g. PSE) that are supposed to address the need of non-experts. Well..... I am coming from the PSE world. I am reasolnably happy with the PSE Organizer....but I hate the complex, inefficient, unfriendli "user-interface" (experts will probably tell: workflow-interface?) of the PSE Editor. Its really a last-century Software. LR is so much more friendly, even for non-experts...within the Library Module, i do not need to switch back and forth between one dialogue-window for each type of change.... nearly all what i need is in that one right-hand pane of the Library module.
I honestly believe, that Adobe should take a serious look at promoting/marketing LR also to the audience of non-experts. That would be a good and attractive additional marketing opportunity for LR.

Master Data: 2 records with different FROM-TO dates

Hi,
I am extracting the master data from R/3. In R/3 the master data record is created with valid FROM: 01/01/1900 and valid TO: 12/31/9999. But when I extract the data into BW it is coming as 2 records one with 01/01/1000-12/31/1899 range and the other with 01/01/1900-12/31/9999.
What settings/steps I need to change to get only one record for now and of course in future any change to the records will comes as different valid date range.
When I schedule the info package, the update tab consist of Fixed time interval start date: 10/20/2005; end date: 12/31/9999.
Time being to avoid this in the transfer rule of FROM date info object selected constant option with date 01/01/1900 as in R/3????

I have assigned one-to-one from R/3 to BW.
In R/3 I have FROM and TO date and assigned these two fields to Transfer structure FROM and TO info objects.
I have maintained Transfer rule only after getting two records into BW for every one entry in R/3. In the rule I just assigned constant date to avoid 2 records for every entry from r/3. So nothing to do with the routine.
I want to see one record in BW for every entry coming from R/3. At present in the BW master data sitting as 2 records.
Example:
one record in R/3 with:
FROM date: 01/01/1900; TO date: 12/31/9999.
Inserted 2 records into BW with:
FROM date: 01/01/1000; TO date: 12/31/1899.
FROM date: 01/01/1900; TO date: 12/31/9999.

[help]why data on table (master ) different from materialized view(slave)?

We have had Oracle RAC 2 Groups (master and slave).
We have created materialized from slave to master. and I have created materialized view log on master .
When slave group job is broken a long time(12 Hrs). We refreshed job and runned job id.
But I have found database on materialized view (slave) different from TABLE on master group. (m$log =0row)
Please tell me how can we resolve Or because that problem is m$log

Yes I do have a unique identifier on each record in the base table and therefore also in the MV.
So now the Downstream application has to update some of its own database tables based on what is in the MV that I provide - just so I understand how would that work e.g.:
1. MV gets refreshed from my base table every minute
2. Some records are newly inserted and some simply updated
and this is the part I don't understand (I might be missing something obvious)....
3. Downstream application interrogates the MV every (say 1-2 minutes) and updates its own tables based on the data there.....but let's say MV contains 10,000 records and in the last minute 100 of those records have been updated and another 100 inserted - how will it know the 200 records it needs to pull?

Filing date of judgement is different from date listed on credit report.

So first, let me say that my judgement is due to fall off in April of next year. If it weren't for reading so many success stories and having many of my own (including an early deletion of the last paid collection account on Experian just yesterday) I might be willing to leave well enough alone. The problem is, the paid judgement is the last bad item on my report. I just called the circuit court where my judgement was filed because the dates seemed off. I have copies of the money orders that I sent to pay the judgement and all of them were AFTER the judgement file date listed on my credit reports. According to the clerk, my judgement was actually filed on January 12, 2009 not April 16, 2009. My question is, aren't civil judgements supposed to fall of 7 years from the filing date or is this the case of the 7 years 180 days I've heard about? Did my payments somehow reage the judgement? If the date is indeed wrong, what is my next course of action? If the judgement rightfully is due to fall of January of 2016 I am within the 6 month range for requesting good will early deletion from at least two of the CRA's, correct? I'd really like to buy a house next year at the best rate possible and my Fico scores are EX 709, TU 719, and EQ 721. I’m hoping this removal will help me get the best rate possible. Regardless, if I can get the dates changed or no,t it's good to know that I have a possiblity of getting early exclusion on judgements as well. From what I read on this forum you can get a judgement vacated if he was improperly served. You can request the service info from the court where the Judgement was placed. I, like Rebuilding, didn't show up for my court date because I assumed that being in contact and negotaiting payment was all I needed to do and judgement would be thrown out the window. Yeah I know, stupid. Wow, if my judgement falling off netted me 66 points I would keel over. It's my last baddie and the only bad thing on all three reports so my fingers are crossed. Experian is an interesting one. In my case, they seem to hang on to anything and everything. The other CA's dropped most of my stuff a few months early without me even having to request it. The only thing I had left was the judgement and one collection on Experian. I called them mid june to ask for early deletion of the collection( 2 months ealy) because I heard they would remove it 3 months early. They turned me down, but I was very polite and thanked them for their time when they told me to call back April 1. I called them July 1 and after being transfered once my collection was removd. The phone call took less than 5 minutes. It was due to fall of August 16 of this year. The number I called was 1-800-360-7580. Note this account was not my oldest account and it was shown as being in collections so I wasn't in danger of having my Aaofa taking a hit. Oh, one last thing. I don't think it's odd that one report had collections info that another doesn't. They not only differ in how long they keep stuff( my point about Experian having a collection nobody else had) I also think it depends on who the collector reports the info to I'll update if I get my judgement updated and EE. Otherwise Kaylavaand I will have our judgement removal day party April 16th of next year!

What do you do when your BD-R.iso builds differently from what you have on the simulator?

I'm about to kick this Encore CS6 BD-R making machine out the window. The simulator plays the menu & functions like i want... I build the image & burn the disk and I get a menu that STARTS at the loop point and highlight groups that don't highlight. Again, this works well in simulator; works and looks like crap when i burn the built image to BD-R. I can see why disk delivery is going away. Who has time for this stupid, time sucking crap. This is the last custom menu i'm ever doing. Five days at this now and i still have no useable menu. At anyrate, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. //dc

Thanks Stan, here you go... it's pretty simple. And yes I meant Encore Preview... DVDSP called it Simulator, so i'm a bit hung over from those days. If i can get Preview to reflect accurately what I'm building, then I can finish this thing- I'll be able to sort out the settings causing the badness.. Basically the selected subpicture highlights DO NOT highlight in the build, they are just barely noticeable, so faint that you can't tell this is the selected button. I'm including the Menu Color Set image her as well, maybe it'll help. Again, it is all FINE/ looks great in Preview, sucks and is horrible on the build/burn. //dc

The terms of sale for the Store, though, say that they're not responsible for such purchases, so they may not be able to do anything for you.
Normally such purchases require that the user know the iTunes Store account password. If your son does know your password, you should immediately go to the Restrictions section of the General preferences and turn off the option for In-App Purchases. If your son should not be making purchases on his own, you probably should also change your iTunes Store password.

Sensitive Data Breach; FF displays content from a previously loaded plugin when displaying new content from within another pugin

Sensitive Data Breach.
When loading content from a plugin, such a pdf or flash, any content from previously viewed content from a plugin is flash before the new content is displayed.
In our app we show sensitive information and this represents a data breach.
This issue present across or between the same or different plugins. Silverlight - > PDF, PDF -> PDF, etc.

In reviewing the steps to re-create the problem, I'm not sure I understand what's happening.
<br>1. Load some flash content
2. Leave the Tab open or Close the tab
3. Load a pdf within the browser in another tab.
<br>Note: Ensure Options -> Tabs -> "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is selected.
<br>Note: Ensure you clear your cache so plugin content is downloaded.
<br>The longer it takes to download the pdf the longer the sensitive data will be displayed. When the plugin fails content may be displayed indefinitely.
(I view PDFs outside the browser, so I haven't attempted to re-create the above scenario.)
Are you saying that Flash content appears where the PDF is supposed to load, or a previous PDF appears?
I assume this previously viewed data doesn't survive a shut-down and restart of Firefox. Is that correct?

Infocube turned out differently from PSA

Hi,
In BI 7.0, if i have confirmed that the content of PSA is what i expected, but the content in the fact table of the infocube turned out differently. How do I rectify the mistakes? It should be something to do with the transfer or update rules, but how do i check those?

Hi Lip,
If you feel that data in Cube is different from what is there in the PSA, then it could be that there are some routines written in the Transformations.
When you are checking for Data Reconciliation, you can proceed as follows.
Check for the Data in the Source System --> RSA3,
Check the Data in PSA in BW(SAP BI)
Check the Data in the InfoCube.
For test purposes you can take a few records and check if any Transformations are taking place and after that do the reconciliation.

When did the version change to 10?   I used it in March and it was the one I was used to. It was much simplier. Is there another Adobe Photoshop besides Elements?

Hold down the CtrlShiftAlt keys and simultaneously click on the Edit button on the welcome screen. After a few seconds release the three keys and look behind the welcome screen by closing it. Alternatively hold down the three keys whilst clicking on the desktop icon for the Editor or PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe in the Programs folder. Keep holding down all three keys for a few seconds; then release. You should get the settings option. When you see a pop up box with the words: Delete Adobe Photoshop Elements Settings File? Click on Yes Then wait whilst Elements rebuilds the preferences.

JPG colors different from Lightroom Display

I am aware of issues when you try to print an image without taking into account the calibrated color profiles of both the printer and your monitor, but not when it comes to displaying 2 images on the same monitor.
To put it simple: I process an image in Lightroom. I get the desired result, create a JPG out of it.
The JPG is very different from what I had in Lightroom. Much lighter among others.
What would be a potential reason to explain such behavior?

Indeed. Now it makes sense. What totally confused me was when the JPG, reimported in LR, did not look the same as the RAW image. I thought that if LR was color managed, then both images should look the same.
After I clicked the "Reset all default Develop settings", the reimported JPG looks "correct". Not sure I fully understand what happened however

Not calibrated as of now. Will fix it soon now that it seems that it is the reason behind my problem
What you are saying is consistent with what I had read, and this is actually what confused me the most. Because I read that Firefox was color-managed, but the JPG looked the same in FF, IE, Irfanview and LR (JPG reimported before I clicked the "reset settings" button). So it looked to me like if color-managed (FF) and non-color managed (IE) software would display the JPG the same way, but yet my LR RAW image would look different. When Windows Image Viewer displayed the JPG the same way LR did for the RAW, this is where I got totally lost.
