Data in infoobject not showing in report

I have this situation. I can see cost center number in variable screen but the number is not showing when I run the report.

Hi,
I would suggest you try to see if the data is being populated in the cube for the particualr infoobject.If it is not populated in the cube itself,then check the filters inthe start routine,transfer & Update Routines. If its populating the data then,try to run the query on the same selection criteria and verfiy.This way you can confirm if its the loading into the dataprovider or on the front end that needs to be fixed.

Hi,
We have a text field that shows the date on which the report is running.Date is not showed when report is viewed in PDF.But in HTML we can view them . Can any one help me out?
Totally there are four pages for the report.

I have observed the PDF driver iin EPM 11.1.2.x is not up-to-date and technically the Date (Text) is there just like in HTML. However, when you increase the View (Zoom in), it eventually does show up.
I have chatted with Oracle Support, and they will not address it with a patch for now.

Data mart symbol not showing

I am facing problem. when we load the data from ODS to CUBE .Data loaded succesfully.In ods manage screen DATA MART symbol not showing.

Hi Kamal,
Try running delta update from ODS to Cube manually by right click ods -> Update data into data target -> Delta update.
And hopefully datamart status should get checked.
Also see the request status of datamart from ODS to Cube it may be in red / yellow status.

Subreport dropdownlist does not show any report !!

Just finished preparing two reports, rpt1 (Master), rpt2(SubReport), each a separate report works well. after that i added subreport control to rpt1 and went to SubReport properties to add rpt2 ... but ( Use this report as subreport ) did not show
any report in list.

0IC_C03 Data Not Showing in Report

Dear Friends,
We are using SAP BW 3.5. I have a problem with 0IC_C03 Cube.
Problem is:
Data is transfered to BW i can see the data from Cube --> Contents.
But when i create a report i am unable to see only that particaluar data which dont
have storage location.
Can anybody help me why its not showing that specific data which dont
have storage location.
and on other hand we can see the data from Cube -->Contents

Yes i am taking care of marker.
all data is ok excep 13 records which have no storage location.
and only these 13 records are not showing in the report and thats why
my stock is not tele with R/3.
Any other hint.

Records not showing in Report

Hi All,
I'am facing peculair issue, We have an issue where inventory is showing in -ve.
From 2LIS_03_BF we are loading the data to DSO, from DSO again to Cube.
I can see Reocrds in Cube for a certian Plant , Storage Location and Material combinations....when I gave same selection criteria in Report the records are not shown in Report. I have checked Query designer too if there are any condition applies but there are no conditions as such expet Special Process Indicator K is excluded.
so i checked Special process indicator for that material but its not K.......its Blank.
Inorder to recover the issue, I have selectivdely deleted the material, Plant and Storage location combination and reloaded the data to cube and compreessed the request without checking No marker Update.
Please need inputs here.

I had the same problem here. I was working with OBIEE 10.1.3.2, after a lot of searching an reading decided to upgrade to 10.1.3.3 and the problem was solved.

Data in database not showing up in BI

Hi,
In a table there is a 'COMPANY' column. Every record in the table has COMPANY = 'ABC'. However, any BI reports that use the COMPANY field always show COMPANY as an empty field.
- The 'Update Row Count' option in BI Administration tool reports there is 1 unique record
- The 'View Data' option in BI Administration tool shows "ABC'
- Creating a report in Answers show an empty value
- This only seems to happen with the COMPANY field
How can BI see 'ABC' in the Physical Pane but not show the 'ABC' value in an Answers report?
We have tried:
- Purging all caches
- Rebooting the server and deleting files from Cache and Tmp help
- Clearing Web Browser Cache
- Using Web Browsers on different computers
- Using IE and Firefox

is not a physical sql, its a logical sql. Go to admin - issue sql - paste above - set loglevel > 3 and execute. Once the results come back, check view log - find sql sent to database and post here.

Added field to dataset not showing on report

I have a report with multiple datasets for an existing report. I am adding a field to one of these datasets (Monthly Summary) titled BonusYTD. When I run the sp in the SSRS query designer it shows that the field BonusYTD is populated but when
I place the field in the table it shows nothing. I have checked the textbox to see if it had an hidden properties and even went to a different textbox that was displaying data and changed the field to BonusYTD and it still didn't show up. I checked
my connection to ensure I was previewing the report on the correct development server and refreshed the fields again in the dataset. I am not understanding why the field BonusYTD is showing up in the list of available fields for this dataset yet the
textbox that I put it in is not displaying any data. Please help.

Normally when we preview a report the data for the report is cached to a file on the local computer.
When we preview the report again using the same query, parameters, and credentials,
Report Designer retrieves the cached copy rather than running the query. The data file is normally
saved as <yourreportname>.rdl.data in the directory as the report definition file save.
Normally the cached file doesn’t work once we modify the query. At this time,
I can suggest that you please delete the cached .rdl.data file and then check the problem again.

Custom Groups not showing in Reports

Hello,
Per our reporting requirement, I have created few groups in Authoring pane. However, when I am going to select those groups in reporting, its not showing up.
Env: SCOM 2012 R2.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
It seems like that there is a sync issue/latency between the operational database and the data warehouse in your case. Groups should appear in the data warehouse within just a minute or two in most environments. Check errors and performance on
your management servers and sql servers.
Do you see any error or warning Events in the OperationsManager Windows Event log on one of the management servers which could be related to db issues?

Data Control does not show POJO returned from method

Hi,
I am running JDev 11.1.1.7. In my AppModule.impl I created a method that returns a simple POJO (which implements serializable) that has two String fields. I have exposed the method in the appmodule client interface. In the data control the method shows up with a return element instead of an object or any way to access the two String fields. I want to display the two String fields in separate output text components on my jspx page. I'm not finding documentation on how to do this. Can somebody point me to documentation or tell me how to make this change to the data control method return?

AM method can return custom type, but AFAIK there is no support for object introspection in design time.
(so you can invoke this programmatically and cast to appropriate type, but you can't do DnD from Data Control pane).
So, option 1 is to bind value property of your outputText fields to managed bean, programmatically call AM method, fill these properties manually and refresh your UI components(note that managed bean must be registered in viewScope or higher to preserve values)
Option 2 is to create Bean DataControl (with this you will have DnD support)

Friends I've made the trail balance in report painter but my problem is the GLs description under lead column are not showing. I checked the lead column and kept the radio button on key and description under report layout but sill its not working. Please suggest...

Date difference is not showing the correct result for date interval

Hi Expert,
                I've created two formula variable one for PO date and another for GR date
while i am taking the date difference of GR and PO date for single PO date selection
it showing me correct result , but while i am taking the date interval for PO date it not
showing the correct result.
eg: PO date: 01.01.2010   for a particular PO and Gr date is suppose 03.01.2010, 06.01.2010
      it showing the result 2 and 5.
But if i am taking date interval for PO date:
eg: 01.01.2010 - 31.01.2010
PO date: 10.01.2010 and GR date are suppose 15.01.2010, 22.01.2010 and 30.01.2010
it showing me 14, 21 and 29
