Data incorrect in PSA when Loading.

guys i have a generic data source in my DEV R/3 environment, i had to change some code in its function module for loading, the data source bring the right data for employees and is active in rsa6. i have replicated the data source  in BWD.. now here is the issue, i have have 1 selection criteria in infopackage "employee number". when i leave it blank, i get incorrect rates while loading trough PSA or directly in the ODS.But when i specify employee number , the data comes out correctly in the PSA and ODS. any thoughts?
Amer

i cannot paste the code here.. RSA3, the data source brings the correct data...but in BW PSA it doesnt, i have a feeling its still trying to pull up old data even after replication, How can i check if there is logical set up for it?

  • How to avoid 'duplicate data record' error message when loading master data

    Dear Experts
    We have a custom extractor on table CSKS called ZCOSTCENTER_ATTR. The settings of this datasource are the same as the settings of 0COSTCENTER_ATTR. The problem is that when loading to BW it seems that validity (DATEFROM and DATETO) is not taken into account. If there is a cost center with several entries having different validity, I get this duplicate data record error. There is no error when loading 0COSTCENTER_ATTR.
    Enhancing 0COSTCENTER_ATTR to have one datasource instead of two is not an option.
    I know that you can set ignore duplicates in the infopackage, but that is not a nice solution. 0COSTCENTER_ATTR can run without this!
    Is there a trick you know to tell the system that the date fields are also part of the key??
    Thank you for your help
    Peter

    Alessandro - ZCOSTCENTER_ATTR is loading 0COSTCENTER, just like 0COSTCENTER_ATTR.
    Siggi - I don't have the error message described in the note.
    "There are duplicates of the data record 2 & with the key 'NO010000122077 &' for characteristic 0COSTCENTER &."
    In PSA the records are marked red with the same message (MSG no 191).
    As you see the key does not contain the date when the record is valid. How do I add it? How is it working for 0COSTCENTER_ATTR with the same records? Is it done on the R/3 or on the BW side?
    Thanks
    Peter

  • Master data check not working when loading into and ODS object

    Hi guys,
    we are loading transactional data into an ODS from a flat file.
    In the infopackage, we have checked the option :
    "Do not update data if no master data exists for a characteristic".
    This option seems to be unreliable :
    For some characteristics (it seems those loaded using transfer rules (routines)), incorrect data is still loaded into the ODS even if no entry exist in the associated infoobject master data table.
    Any help appreciated.
    Many thanks !
    Pierre-Yves

    Hi Dear,
       please delete all the incorrect master data from the master data characteristic first and then try to uploading the data again .It should work, because there migth be some master data created when data were loaded with out the check before.
    And please check whether all your characteristic info object are of master data , I mean that in the infoobject defination you have checked the master data check box on the info object. If you have only text then it might fail the master data check.
    hope this help.

  • BPC 7.5 NW -- Data Manager Import Fails When Loading 40,000 Records?

    Hi Experts,
    Can't believe I'm posting this because the Data Manager component has always been one of the best parts of BPC.  But, since we got SP04 applied last week, every IMPORT process that I've run that has more than 40,000 records fails out.
    The result logs show that the CONVERT task completes just fine, but it doesn't really show the LOAD task.  ...Not exactly sure what's going on here.  So far I've also taken the following two steps to try for resolution:
    (1.)  Re-added the IMPORT package in Organize Package List from the Library to have a "fresh" version.  Didn't help.
    (2.)  In the "Modify Package" screens, there is a PACKAGESIZE parameter that is 40,0000 by default...  I've been able to locate that in BI using transaction RSA1 and have changed it to 10,000,000.  Saved it.  Tried it.  Didn't help either
    Has anyone seen this kind of behavior before?
    Thanks,
    Garrett

    Update -- This problem may now be resolved.
    I have been able to conduct test IMPORTs of 48,000, then 96,000 and then 1.7 million records.  All were fine.
    It turns out that that difference is that the text files were sorted by amount in the ones that failed.  They were sorted by GLAccount in column A for the ones that succeeded.
    Edit:  Yep, all files loaded normally when re-sorted by GLACCOUNT, etc. on the left-hand side.  Apparently, when you're doing a lot of records that might confuse the system or something

  • Srollpane scrolls when loaded data from XML, not when loaded data from ASP

    Hi,
    I load into scrollpane a swf, which has a dynamicly loaded
    data. If I use the XML file, it works (the scrollbar is visible),
    but if I use a asp file, which creates xml, it doesn't work (the
    scrollbar is not visible). Any ideas?

    Hi,
    let say I have a A.swf and a B.swf. In A.swf I have a
    scrollpane in to wich the B.swf is loaded. Below is the code in
    B.swf. If I load the data from a asp file, the scrollbar in the
    scrollpane is not visible, but if I use the xml file, the scrollbar
    is visible.
    What I've meant is that I think that Flash gets the same form
    of data, no matter if I use the asp or xml, because the asp creates
    the same xml form as I use in the xml file. I hope this makes any
    sense.

  • Missing data when loading to PSA in 7.0

    Hi all,
    I have a problem with a 7.0 load.
    I am loading a init load from R3 into DSO.
    I have made a test extraction in R3 (RSA3) and I have 145258 records in R3, but when loading into PSA, I only retrieve 100.000 records... it is very extrange and maybe I am missing something from the new 7.0 version but I have no clue about what could be the error.
    could anyone help me to solve this?
    Many thanks!

    Hi,
    You are using BI 7.0,that means you are loading data to target from PSA using DTP.
    May be you are using Full Update infopackage but while loading to target you are using Delta DTP.
    Due to this it loding only the new changed records from PSA.
    Make the DTP full update then it will pick all the records.
    Kindly reward me some points if suggestion help you.

  • Data loaded successfully in RSA3, but can not find data in BW PSA

    Dear all:
    We have custom datasource enhanced through BADI. For one column, in the source system RSA3, I can see this field populated with data, but in BW, when I load the data in PSA and check, this field is blank...
    I tried seeral ways like re-replicate datasource, delete the datasource in BW and re-replicate, but not work.
    Did anybody meet the same situation before? How to handle this issue?
    Any post would be appreciated and thank you all in advance!
    Tim

    Hi Pavan:
    Thanks for your reply.
    I don't have any selection field for this datasource, and the number between ECC and BW matches. Actually the problem is only for one field, on ECC side RSA3, this field are populated with values, while in BW PSA, this column is there, but all the content are blank.
    I do call one function module called to populate that field:
    CALL FUNCTION 'CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS'
          EXPORTING
          CLASS                      = ''
            CLASSTEXT                  = 'X'
            CLASSTYPE                  = '023'
          CLINT                      = 0

          INHERITED_CHAR             = ' '
          CHANGE_NUMBER              = ' '
          TABLES
            T_CLASS                    = ITAB_CLASS
            T_OBJECTDATA               = ITAB_OBJECTDATA
          I_SEL_CHARACTERISTIC       =
          T_NO_AUTH_CHARACT          =
          EXCEPTIONS
            NO_CLASSIFICATION          = 1
            NO_CLASSTYPES              = 2
            INVALID_CLASS_TYPE         = 3
            OTHERS                     = 4
        IF ITAB_OBJECTDATA IS NOT INITIAL.
           READ TABLE ITAB_OBJECTDATA INTO wa_OBJECTDATA WITH KEY atnam = 'ZLOBM_PLNTMFG'.
           <LS_ESMI_BW_MD_ZBATC0001>-ZORIGPLNT = wa_OBJECTDATA-AUSP1.
        ENDIF.
    The code is very simple, it just call the standard FM and fetch the value from the return table, is there any thing wrong with my code?

  • "****Error from PSA****" error message when loading InfoCube

    Hi all,
    I am getting the following error message when loading transaction data to an InfoCube.
    ***Error from PSA***
    This is not MD or Hierarchies (like previous messages in the forum)
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Miki

    Hi Miki,
    Before just loading data into the infocube. Catchup PSA table and see the data into it.
    Then u may find the solution.
    But as ronald said this shouldnot be the complete error statement.
    bye.

  • Error when loading data

    Hi,
    Please need help!
    I get a strange error message when loading data from R/3 to BW. A lot of rows in the PSA get red with following description (I don't recognize the object REQUESTER):
    "InfoObject REQUESTER does not contain alpa-conforming value 3511"
    The help says:
    "Diagnosis
    The system checked whether the loaded InfoObject
    value conforms to the conversion exit.The check
    failed.
    Forexample:
    The value '1' was loaded into an InfoObject with alpha exit, even though the value '0000000001' was expected.
    Systemresponse
    The load process has failed or the erroneous records are displayed in the monitor. This does not depend on how error handling is set up.
                                                             Procedure
    Find out why the data does not conform to the conversion exit, and, if possible, correct the cause. Possible causes are errors in Business Content or an error in a customer exit in the source system.
                                                             If you cannot correct the problem, you have the option of removing the conversion exit on the InfoObject. However, since the system has already been converted, duplicates appear in the system again.

    Senor Roberto
    I seem to have similar problem, the ALPHA conversion is existent at my Infoobject level and in my Comm Struc but not in mY Transfer_Structure/Transfer_Rules_.
    I have already been running loads from ods to data target no problem and now out of a sudden the error msg
    Err mess: "The value '1' was loaded into an InfoObject with alpha exit, even though the value '0000000001' was expected", appears.
    I have tried removing alpha conversion from info object as u have recommended, and I have transported to QA but in QA the infooject status color is grey and it dosen't allow me to activate what should i do? What i would really like is to load ods data to data target without ever seeing this error again .
    Any thoughts
    Ciao

  • ABAP short dump when loading data into Infocube

    Hello All,
    I am getting an ABAP short dump error when loading data into Infocube. I tried to load data from PSA and ODS.
    I ran the code to compress the Infocube, no improvement still getting the same error.
    Error Analysis:
    A raise statement in the program "SAPLRSDU_PART" raised in the exception.
    Internal Notes:
    The termination occured in the function "ab_i fune" of the SAP Basis system. Specifically in the line 2316 of the module "//bas/620/src/krn/runt/abfunc. C#18".
    The internal operation just processed is "FUNE"
    Advance thanks !!!

    Hello Siv,
    try to run program SAP_DROP_EMPTY_FPARTITIONS to display existing partitions. Then compare it to the number of uncompressed requests. Maybe there's a mismatch.

  • " Error when inserting in PSA table RSTSODSPART" when loading into PSA

    Hello,
    Did anyone encounter something similar, and found a solution ?
    BI 7.0 -  EnhP 1 - SP5
    When loading data from R/3 into PSA, we encounter following error message:
    " Error when inserting in PSA table RSTSODSPART"
    ===============================================================
    - the first datapackage is written successfully to PSA,
    but from the second datapackage onwards the error message pops-up
    " Error when inserting in PSA table RSTSODSPART"
    - The original dataselection in the infopackage is somewhere stored
    If the selection in the InfoPackage is reduced (e.g. only one document i.o. a period)
    it stil starts loading according the original selection (the month)
    - If we create a new InfoPackage and select very few data (only one datapackage)
    then we can load to PSA succesfully, but when we load to DSO we can't activate the DSO.
    - We remarked that:
    Two versions of the PSA exist for that datasource 0FI_GL_40:
    a Table(/BIC/B0000555000) in version 1 exists,
    a Table(/BIC/B0000555001) in version 2 exists
    Thanks in advance,
    Best regards

    Hello All,
    We had a problem similar to what Ilse Depoortere describes. The problem happens in our BW QA system a few days/weeks after it has been copied from Production. Data loads start failing with these two error messages:
    RSM2 851 - Error when writing in PSA (Caller 32)
    RSAR 130 - Error 7 when adding to PSA (Caller 70)
    We have just implemented the fix described in note 1340371 (replaced the LIB_DBSL with patch level 247), and the problem is gone. Failed data load process chains can be restarted and finish successfully.
    This has been a really useful discussion, thanks all! And thanks to my coworker Bob who found it.

  • Error 1 when loading data

    guys can u pls help me out regarding an error called Error 1 when loading external data in the infopackage.
    when I click on start data load am getting that error. Waiting for the answer.

    Hi,
    Actually, this error has little to do with lowercase letters. At least upto PSA level data should be loaded in most cases.
    Error number 1 occurred when loading external data:
    1. Error when reading the file (access rights, file name, ...)
    2. File size or number of records does not correspond to the data in the control file
    3. Error when generating the IDoc
    4. File contains invalid data (errors with an arithmetic operation or data conversion)
    I had the situation when error 1 and file not found error occurred. The reason was in very little memory. The system couldn't open the file. Check it with basis guys.

  • How to load data for attribute of Master Data Object from PSA

    Hi Experts,
    I have a Master data Object, 0Equipment.
    I loaded data to PSA from R/3.
    I am able to see records for Zxxx field in PSA.
    I have added a new mapping object Zxxx in BW.
    But, when I loaded the data from PSA to Master Data Object, 0Equipment,
    I am not able to see records for Zxxx which is an attribute of 0Equipment.
    I do see the records for rest of the attributes of this Master Data Object.
    I tried deleting and reloading the data
    and treid to check attribute change run
    Please let me know if I am missing something in loading the Master Data from PSA

    Jr Roberto,
    I checked all the records in Maintain Master Data and did set the Zxxx Not Equal To Blank.
    No data for Zxxx InfoObject, eventhough there is data in the corresponding field in PSA.
    I did 1:1 mapping.

  • Errors when loading data to ODS

    Hi,
    I am getting the following dump when loading data to ODS
    whta might be the problem
    Runtime Error          MESSAGE_TYPE_X
    Date and Time          29.09.2006 14:26:52
    ShrtText
    The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.
    What happened?
    The current application program detected a situation which really
    should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was
    triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).
    What can you do?
    Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
    and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
    error.
    To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
    You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
    termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
    date.
    is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
    Error analysis
    Short text of error message:
    Test message: SDOK_GET_PHIO_ACCESS 001
    Technical information about the message:
    Message classe...... "1R"
    Number.............. 000

    Variable 2.......... 001
    Variable 3.......... " "
    Variable 4.......... " "
    Variable 3.......... " "
    Variable 4.......... " "
    How to correct the error
    Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
    You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
    in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
    use the following search criteria:
    "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" C
    "SAPLSDCL" or "LSDCLF00"
    "INTERNAL_ERROR"
    If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
    an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
    1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
    To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
    Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    2. A suitable printout of the system log
    To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
    Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
    after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
    "System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
    supply the source code.
    To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
    Upload/Download->Download".
    4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
    or which actions and input led to the error.
