DATA INPUT IN URDU LANGUAGE WITH ENGLISH

Asalam-o-Alekum
I want to do some inputs in URDU, ENGLISH mix in my Form.
For example:
I put the name in Item Name : Pepsi Cola 200 ml..............The same item name input need in URDU but the (200 ml) is in Number & English. Its mean that I want to do inputs in URDU, NUMBERS, ENLISH.
After the inputs we required to print in URDU also.
I also want to understand step by step solution
I am using Database 10g on Windows SERVER 2003 (32 BIT) NLS_LANGUAGE = AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252.
I am using Forms6i & Report6i on Windows 7 (32 BIT).

For English-Urdu bi-lingual support you need to have your database created to use the appropriate character set for Urdu. WE8 in WE8MSWIN1252 stands for Western Europe 8bit. You need to find the right character set for Urdu and use it when creating your database.
If you db is already created and populated with another char set then the conversion may be a little complex.
Once your DB has the right char set, you also need to change your Dev 6i Forms Char set in the Windows registry. Look for AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252 and change it to the same value as what you used in the DB.

Change Secondary language to English

Hi ,
I have English(EN) as the system language and German(DE) as the secondary Language in my development environment.
Also Norwegian(NO) language is installed for which supplementation language is English.
While logging in with NO and executing certain tcodes for example MM02 , I am getting a mixture of all three languages and no translation.
Screenshot attached.
I would like to know if someone has encountered this scenario before and would be able to help with a solution.
Also most importantly, if I want to set the secondary language as english now, could I do the parameter change at any time and take a system restart or should it be done only while installing a new system when there are no languages other than the ones delivered by SAP i.e. DE and EN.

Supplementation and secondary language should be the same as stated in the here under note.
You should then change secondary language parameter to English (zcsa/second_languages = E), you will then get rid of the german texts.
Changing the secondary language parameter could be done at anytime, it just requires to restart the SAP instance.
To my knowledge running supplementation could only help if
1) language installation/supplementation was done wrong (language imported after applying SP, or creating working clients from 000 or supplementation not done in client 000)
2) you did import support packages and did not run supplementation again

To do this,call the following menu option:Language->Supplement Language.Keep the default selection and execute it.

Amount and Date in words (Spanish, if logon language is english)

Dear all,
hope sb can help me with my issue.
We have to print within our system for Spain. That means the check itself have to be in spanish.
But we don't have spanish as logon language available. So the logon language is english.
If we print our checks we use the fields
&REGUD-ZALIW&    (for Date in words)
and
&SPELL-WORD&     (for Amount in words).
Unfortunately the words are not in spanish but in english. Additionally the day is not in words at all.
Could anybody help me? How can I get the words in Spanish?

where w_dmbtr is the amount of the check.
and for the date
but before u need to set up the sy-langu = 'S'. of spanish
after u get the value set it again to english.

OUTPUT = MONTH.

I want to develop a small application using MIDP 2.0 that will be in Urdu language in addition to English. Can somebody point me in right direction as to how to do that?
Plus I want to know if this is something which is device dependent i.e. it may work on some devices and may not work on some?

Smartform Output with English & Japanese languages

Hi All,
I have to develope a smartform with english and Japanese languages in the output. Login language will be EN. The sap system is a Unicode system. The problem is with the Japanese characters. I could able to view english characters properly in the print preview but Japanese characters are replaced by #. I tried with unicode enabled (code page 4110) printer driver also. Could anybody worked before on this. Please provide me the settings need to be done inorder to print both langauages using a single smartforms.

For printing use the device type as JPSAPWIN.

Along with that, when setting up a brand new Mac (or after install an fresh version of the OS), the first thing you have do is: select a language. That choice sets the language for the rest of the setup and the default. Pick English and you're done.
But as Tom mentioned, that can always be changed.

Calling Stored Procedure with a DATE input parameter

Hi. A question about Date input parameters when calling a stored procedure...
I have a procedure that takes a DATE parameter as input. I would like that DATE value to include a Time element.
My Application Module method takes an input parameter as java.util.Date (myParamDate) - which will preserve a time element(?).
However when I create the CallableStatement, I'm trying to set the parameter using setDate like this (for param 5):

How to enter URDU Language data in Oracle

im having great problems in entering Urdu Language data in Oracle 9i rel.2 database on win2000 ad. server having my client PCs on windows xp,, then front end of our application being in developing process,,in .net framework,,using vb.net,,now windows xp is supporting urdu and data in urdu language is entered properly from the front end application but oracle is not supporting it,, and not displaying right translated characters,,my country is Pakistan,,laguage is Urdu,,the character set of my database is we8mswin1252 and national character set is al16utf16,,
plz help me wriggle out the situation.

I am not completely certain what Oracle character sets support Urdu, but I can say that Windows-1252 certainly does not. You probably want to use UTF-8 as the database character set.
Unfortunately, changing the database character set generally requires rebuilding the database. You cannot use the ALTER DATABASE command here, since UTF-8 is not a strict binary superset of Windows-1252.

The main problems are the menus of the control elements (right click mouse) for instance x/y diagrams or knobs.

If the phone is not unlocked, let's say for example it is locked to another carrier such as at&t, when you put in the Tmobile SIM in, the phone would complain about the SIM.
Does your phone do that? If yes, then the party that sold you the iPhone4S (if you purchased it from another person) may have not done the unlocking properly, and that may explain why Tmobile is insisting on the phone being locked.
If you purchased your iPhone4S new from Apple, did you pick Tmobile, or did you choose unlocked?
If you picked the Tmobile choice, then it should come up ready to use.
If you picked the unlocked choice, then you would need to visit Tmobile to purchase a nano-SIM and usually they should be more than willing to help you, since you're paying for their service.

How to sample a data input waveform with a trigger input waveform

I am using the NI USB-5132 digitizer to receive two inputs: one is an analog data waveform and one is a digital trigger waveform.
Is there a way to generate a third waveform/array of data that corresponds to the data waveform being sampled only once per rising edge of the trigger input?

First of all thanks for the reply, I've been really busy this last week and haven't been able to reply.
Right now I have my data signal on channel 0 of the NI USB-5138, and I have the trigger on channel 1. I have attached two corrections of how the signals look coming in (one is zoomed out, one is zoomed in, trigger is the red one the zoomed in one). The trigger signal has 128 square pulses per scan that correspond to the time that I would like to sample 128 different high values for the data input. I also have a 3rd input which has a falling edge for the start of each scan. As you can see in the zoomed out waveform graph, the data input consists of consecutive scans of data.
My end goal would be to process the data so that I have 128 different arrays of 10-20 data points (each data point represents a different scan), with each of the 128-array corresponding to a different element in the 128-long scan, and how it has changed over time. So for example, if the data at array location 3 changes from 0 V at scan t0 to 2.5 V at scan t1, then back down to 0 V at scan t2, then I would like to have an array that looks like:
Array of data for location[3]
Time: t0 t1 t2
Voltage: 0 2.5 0
My biggest challege has been setting up these arrays. Would it be best to capture 10-20 scans using the 'Acquire N Samples', and then do post processing? I also experimented with the PtbyPt VIs, which seem interesting because I would like to do as much of my work in real time as possible, but I'm not too familiar with these or with Labview.
Any help would be much appreciated.

To have an Arabic keyboard on a Macbook, you need to buy it from a store which caters to people who need that. I do not know of any in the US. It would be best to look for one in an Arabic-speaking country. You could also try searching Google for a source for a replacement keyboard of the type you want, but I don't know if they exist.
