I Create Profiler Repository in Repository manager
While I login in BO DI Designer
I am getting an error
While login in Profiler Server Login
Connection to the Profiler Error is : server failed
close the application saving the login
Web administrator Problem
I have some doubts.Business objects Data Integrator.
error is : I can't View the Batch jobs history for the repository
Procedure I followed
In data Integrator Web administrator
--while logging as Admin
--In management Tree left frame of browser
--Click Status Interval -- Select > Show last Execution of job -- Click
apply --> Click Home
after Clicking home --- Click the repository ( I created direpo) i.e
Batch
After that I can't view anything any job name.......
Help me to figure it out

Hi,
For the profiler problem : you need to add the profiler repository to the web admin too (you can do this in the tree Management/Repositories). Next you need a webadmin user that is linked to this repo, you could use the admin user for that, just check in Management/Users that for this user the profiler repo is attached.
Once this is set up in the management console, from within the designer, you can connect to the Profiling services using the web administrator's server name and port (e.g. localhost:28080) and the web admin user and password (e.g. admin/admin).
For your second problem : please check the connection to the repo (I assume you added the direpo already to the web admin) . Again in the tree Management/Repositories go to the local repository connection you created and check the connection (there is a test button). If the connection is correct, you will see the job history (empty if there are no job executions), in the configuration page you will see a list of all jobs and can execute or schedule a job.

Data integrator web administrator fails to pull batch job status

We use DB2 v8.1.17.644 with fixpack 17 database for the repository. With fix pack 10 everything worked properly. After the upgrade to fix pack 17 on database server residing on linux operating system and the data integrator server installed on windows 2003 server, it fails. Does anyone have the similar issues or a solution for this problem.

the issue with ALVW_HISTORY failing for DB2 is fixed in DS XI 3.1
for 11.7 you need to modify the view definition, the problem happens if you are using System configuration to run the Job. the view is failing to convert string to number
search for following in your view definition of ALVW_HISTORY
L.OBJECT_KEY = CAST ( SC.VALUE as numeric)
and replace it with the following, it should work fine after that
CAST (L.OBJECT_KEY as char) = SC.VALUE

EssBase: Login fails due to invalid login credentials

I am currently running Hyperion System Planning 9, authenticating users through my LDAP server and am having a problem creating new users. I have gone through what I believe are the steps I need to take and have created my users but now when they try to login to EssBase, through the excel add-in, I get this message: "Login fails due to invalid login credentials"
I have searched the forums and the Essbase knowledge base and have come up empty. The only thing I have found is this:
"You just need to provision your shared services user with access to Essbase. Right-click on your user, select provision and then give them the required Essbase rights."
I have provisioned my users several times and made sure that they are added to the correct groups but they still can't log in.
Has anyone had this issue before?

Another point that you need verify, the service sequence:
1. Start the analytic Services
2. Star analytic Administration services.

If you have moved the server to a new data center and an issue has started occurring then it could point to the change.
Are you able to log into essbase directly with Maxl using the same account?
If you run a registry report do you see any of the configuration with IPs instead of DNS/hostname

Need help!
I searched all the threads for this but i still have not found one that works for my issue.
I was trying to add a new essbase server using EAS and i been getting the following error.
I am able to login into the EAS with the same user name and password, but i am getting the following error when i try to ADD essbase server.

Cannot open database " " requested by the login. The login failed. SQL Server 2008 Express

I am getting this message when I try to create a path to a work file from my application.
Cannot open database " " requested by the login. The login failed.
SQL Server 2008 is installed. I have placed the computer name and instance in the application's config file as connection source.
The database is also not showing up in SQl Server Management Studio in list of databases.

Can you please confirm login exist in the sql server and its mapped to particular database.
Are you directly connecting to SSMS?
Or using any 4 part query?
Please share how you are accessing the DB and screen hots of error messages.

Data Integrator Web Service Job State

I would like to know if there's any way, through DI's web services to know if a job is running on the job server or not. I am building a .NET application that will allow a user to manually launch a job, but I need to prevent the users from launching the job if it's already running.

Finding Error while creating Data Integrator Repositor

Hi,
I am working in SAP BO Data Integrator. I have created databeses and its login. Installed SQL Server and while installing Data Integrator I got an error for creating a new repository which is as follows
Cannot open connection to the repository. The error message from the underlying DBMS is <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <MSSERVER\SQLEXPRESS> failed: <[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'AIO_REPO_IDOC'. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.>. Notify Customer Support.>. (BODI-20006)
Can anyone resolve this problem.

I used SQL Server Authentication to logon to databases and for DI Version I am using SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.2.
I tried it again by deleting all databases and then create the same databases but on creating repository for table AIO_REPO_IDOC in repository manager gives error which is as follows

Error 1051293 - Login Fails

Hi,
We have couple of MSAD users in a native group which has admin rights to Essbase server as well as Shared Services in 11.1.2.1. Can login to EAS but when we expand the Essbase servers we get "Error 1051293: Login fails due to invalid login credentials". However, provisioning the ID's individually is working.
Tried both "Use single sign-on" as well as typing the ID & password separately.
Any pointers will help!

How to redirect to a page after login fails?

Since I am working on an automated login from Forms I would like the login page to redirect to an error page if the login fails. I can't seem to find an option for this.
I am using a public page that branches to 101 with BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT, but when login fails I see this login page.
Instead of that I would like to redirect to a public page that shows a message.
How can I do this?

A login failure is when the user and/or pass is not correct. I do not want to show page 101 but a different page when this happens.
I am using the default login page but I am calling it with BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT so the user never sees it and I want to keep it that way....

How to codepages in Data Integrator

Data Integrator sets the codepage at the job server and the datastore layer. Each job server, which is the Data Integrator "engine" where all of the processing takes place, has a single codepage. In addition, each datastore has its own codepage. The datastore codepage is set via the "locale" of the datastore. Because Data Integrator allows each datastore to have its own codepage, you can build a single job which will read from and/or load into datastores with multiple different codepages.

1st step: create your schema on your database, you can create one schema for both repositories (master and work) or you can create one schema for each repository.
2nd step: execute repcreate.bat
3rd step: run topology and create one or more work repositories.
You can also read the "Installation Guide" let us know if you have any issue.

Connection to data store on host MYSQL failed

We have observed multiple occurrence of below errors on the 6 App-V servers (default server group).
<ServerName> 3796 9044 SW_ServerAuthenticationTask::Authorize - "Default Provider" <UserID> - 2 41472 "Module execution failed."
<ServerName>nPool::Reconnect - "Default Provider" <UserID> - 2 41543 "Connection to data store on host MYSQL failed.
APPV Server details:
APPV Server 4.5.3.19480
The issue is been there for some time and we seen these error on the SFT-SERVER log now and then.Though the error is reported in the APP-V log but we have not seen any issue accessing any APPV application during the duration.
Could someone suggest solution to resolve the issue.

Do all your servers face this issue? They are load balanced I suppose?
Check those servers if the App-V management Server service is running and that the firewall doesn't block anything. If that's not the case, try to give the machine account of those servers full control for Share/NTFS on the content-share.
If that does not work, open a ticket with MS.

DataServices 3.1 AIX/DB2 Profiler server problem.

This is a brand new DS 3.1 installation. Profiler repository set up and added to job server and web mgmt console; server restarted. In Designer, job server is active and running jobs, but Profiler server is crossed out showing non-running status.

I just went through this- see my thread (Profiler Server Not Running).
I had installed BOE3.1 after DS3.1 and believe that I re-did the Tomcat app server and the conf and/or port assignments ended up incorrect.
Try this- in Designer drop down Tools and select Profiler Server Login. The popup box will show the port- it may be 28080 (the DS setting). Change it to 8080, the BOE setting for the Web Server.
My connection then worked and the dreaded red X disappeared forever....

Get-splogevent Correlation ID, login failed for "Edit My Profile" in My Profile Error An unexpected error has occurred

    Edit My Profile in My Site displayed an error that "An unexpected error occurred" with a
Correlation ID. I have tried to read the logs in the 14 hive Logs folder but unsuccessfully.
I was able to understand Event Viewer logs, there was supposed to be 4 possibilities
one was wheter UPS was running, the other was clearing the cache and the other 2 I also fixed
I even recreated the Search Service Application, Metadata and UPS but when I fixed the problems
the error still occurred.
    Then I used a Powershell command that displayed output but the Output doesn't make sense
because it is saying the login failed associated with the database that was created by the Search
Service application when it was created.
    But how can that username be related to the Search Service database? Below is the output:

Use Netmon to analyze the traffic and understand more on same
Check available DISK SPACE on SharePoint Servers and SQL Server. On SQL Instance especially check if any databases have set Size limits.
Did we modify something on EditProfile.aspx page. Any custom solution deployed related to search
