Data is overflowing into the next fields
Hi All.
I am loading Master data of Customer using 0CUSTOMER_ATTR datasource from R3, the load was failed due to Conversion problem. then I checked the PSA data with R3 extractor (RSA3) data. I noticed that some of Customer Address filed data is overlapped with Telephone number data which is next to address. I checked the address field dataelement in both ERP and BW, it is CHAR 35, The data is in chinese characteristics.
Not able to conclude as Unicode system problem also, because both ERP and BW 3.5 are Unicode systems.
Could you please explain the reason and solution for this problem?

Hi Chandra,
Mapping is correct. 0CUSTOMER infoobject is getting loaded for last one year. In the above specified failed load also, we got 13 records, out of 12 records were updated correctly, only the record with Chinese/Korean Characters has got this problem.

When I tried to import data with DTW, for the data that includes ",", the data after "," all jumps into the next field after import.
E.g. Column A(memo): bank, United state
Column B(project code): blank
Result in SBO: Memo field : bank
Project code: United state
I have tried 2 ways.
1. Save the file as csv, and adding double quote(") at the beginning and ending of the data. However, it didn't work. It didn't work with single quote as well.
2. Save the file as txt, without amending the data at all.
It worked, however, in SBO, double quote is auto added, it becomes "bank, United state".
Please kindly advise how to handle such case.

How do I connect my text boxes to allow one to overflow into the next?
In older versions, you could create a text box on one page and have it flow into a text box into a different page. How do I do this in the newest version? It's a pretty important function!
Pretty well stuffed up in Pages 5.
You select the Textboxes > Format > Arrange > Unite
This makes them one masked shape with no control over textflow and does not let you link from one page to another or any custom textbox order.
As with virtually every answer here the solution is to use Pages '09 which should be still be in your Applications/iWork folder.

If you have this kind of requirement then you must be having 2 internal tables ,one existing data and 2nd from which you have to insert the records into 1st table.
so in this case,
loop at itab1.
v_index = sy-tabix.
loop at itab2 into wa where pri_key = itab1-pri_key.
v_index = v_index + 1.
insert wa into itab index v_index.
endloop.
endloop.
Using this code ,your data records similar to your 1st tables primary key records will get inserted into table. -
Data moves to the next field with 'tab' or 'click' on writable pdf.

I added in the clientListener for the inputListOfValues' valueChange event

and in javascript I call the TAB action of AdfLovInternalEvent

so it's forcing to perform the tab action when there is value change. doesn't matter tab or enter or mouse click on something else.

if you are using OO ALV, you should enable the 'SAVE' button in the main toolbar. if the user press the save button, then you should upload the data to the custom table.

Global binding text disappears once you move to the next field
I have created this pdf form using Acrobat 7 Professional. now I have ver.8. I also have Adobe Desinger 8.0. I wanted two field to have the same data, so I used global binding. In the preview mode, it works fine. I have add reader extension rights and security to the document. Now when I open it in Adobe Reader 8 and fill the form, it will let me type in and shows up in both the fields, once I move to the next field, the name in the field disappears from both the fields. Any idea?
Thanks in advance.I'm having the same issue. Fields are named independently (my one and only global field is set on the master page, named "Beryllium"). Other fields function as they should and binding is set to normal.
When I type into my Beryllium global field, then move into another text field below, the typing I entered into "Beryllium" disappears and does not carry over to subsequent pages.
Anyone help with this frustrating issue? -
How do you move automatically to the next field of a form after scanning a barcode?
Hi, I have been playing around with a barcode scanner (by the way I dont have a clue) and I've converted a form into a PDF document. I'm trying to move to the next field after the data has been populated in a previous field automatically. I'm not sure if this is done within Adobe Acrobat it self or on the scanner.
The scanner has several different modes, TERMINATION CHAR - CR, TERMINATION - LF, TERMINATION CR+LF and DISABLED.
I believe one of them put a ENT after the data from a barcode and one of the others doesnt. Any ideas?Are you using a handheld scanner and scanning the barcode on screen and wanting the focus to be in the next field after scanning the barcode?
Otherwise, I am not sure what you are asking. The scanner itself won't do this for you if you actively filling out a form. The field which receives the scanned data could have an exit event which has a setFocus method taking you to the field it specifies. (haven't tested this in a long time, so my presumption is once the data is received it will exit, but focus could remain. In that case, another event would be needed. However, A manual <TAB> will force an exit of the field, and the setFocus() function will excute taking you to the field specified in the method. -
I can't be the only person who has this problem with iCal- when a month ends on a Saturday I can't drag events into the next month and instead have to cut and paste - a real pain in the butt. I thought there was something called "scroll" but I can't find that.
Yeah that works, but, it involves a click on the event, a click on edit, a click on the date, keystrokes, plus, since you can't see the next month you have to have a calendar in front of you so as to put it to the right date. It's easier just to cut it and advance the month and paste it, once you are in the right month you can move it around helter skelter willy nilly no problems. Although now that you mention it I will try it, maybe it is easier than cut and paste as I don't really care about the date, as long as it gets moved into the right month I can drag it around all I want.

After updating to 7.0.1 I can not always use the tab key to move to the next field or use the shift and tab to move to the prior field in forms. This always worked in previous versions and it's much needed for my type of work. Does anyone know of a setting to activate this? If not can the Firefox developers work on this issue (please). I love Firefox but desperately need this feature to work correctly. Thanks!
I tried in safe mode and the tab key worked just fine. I'm not sure about all web forms I've only recently updated to 7.0. The wen form I was using was for appraisal purposes and it has multiple data fields to fill in and also drop down menus to select from. Might I always have to use Firefox in safe mode to be able to utilize the tab between field feature? Thanks for your help!

When I open a new tab, the cursor doesn't go automatically into the navigation field anymore, since I have reinstalled Firefox yesterday. Is there a fix?
Did you remove your personal data when uninstalling and have created a new default profile folder?
It is possible that you previously had an extension that set focus to the location bar.

I just updated to ios6. My month view in calendar now shows the start time and end time of appointments running over into the next day. I.E. start appointment on Friday at 5:00 pm, end it at 1:00am Saturday moring. I used to only see the one entry on Friday. Now the appointment runs across both dys showing start and ent time. Can I only show start ttme on month view as I did before?

(Can't try this one because I don't have physical media or a burner and don't want to upgrade to 8.1)
Tried maskedferret's and jarvil's instructions that might work for others but not for me. Also the process must be older version of disk utility. There is no "minus" to remove a partition in the one I have.
Half the problem is those threads are so long with people posting up their problems that are not even the same problem. So then you have to sift through all these responses that aren't even really releated.
If you're problem isn't this problem then please don't use this thread to solve another issue.

I can't find in the release notes of any beta Maverick update that this is being addressed.
1) Does anyone know if there is a fix coming out for this?
2) Is there some solution that doesn't require to have physical media?
a) I have Windows 8.1 iso and product key
b) I have a 32gb USB stick that I had Bootcamp format
c) I have a spare 16gb USB stick. Both are USB 2.0 so I can't do Windows To Go. Maybe I should get one.
3) I have no idea how tell which MacBookPro I have since no one at Apple seems to believe in model numbers. I just ordered it online two weeks ago and received it this week so I guess it's the "latest" model hardware wise. Running 10.9
The cloest possible solution I came across was to boot up Windows 8 OS on a USB stick (Not the install) and run diskpert or fdisk for mbr thought I can' try this out because I don't have Windows To Go. I'd rather have it worked problem from Apple if I can figure out when they plan to update I might be willing to wait.Finally got a physical CD and to the third link option still same issue. Even worse actually as even after formating the partition I get a "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style"

When using Firefox for Andriod:
When filling out a field on a form, they keyboard has a Green Enter button that submits the entire form. However, there are multiple fields on the page, and I would like it to tab to the next field. At the very least not submit the form.
Also, is there a way to configure the keyboard that shows up for each html5 input type?They keyboard that shows up has the large "Green Enter" go button, a backspace and some arrow keys, but no tab button.

GPS data has disappeared from my photos in iphoto
I imported photos into iphoto, edited (for hours) and shut program down. I have now gone back into the event and all the GPS Data has disappeared. Can anyone help me?
