Data Load Error - Unknown Item

Under the advisement of an Oracle engineer our users were instructed to export the data from one of their DBs using "Level 0 Data", and then import the data back into the database. This process was needed in order to allow us to restore compression on our DBs as it had been lost during a patching process.
In any event,
I've exported the data to a .txt file and now I am attempting to load the file back into the database. I am receiving the below error:
Parallel dataload Enabled: [1] block prepare threads, [1] block write threads.
Unknown Item[-1. #IND] in Data Load, [360639] Records Completed.
Unexpected Essbase error 1003000
I did some searching on the web and located a discussion topic dealing with this type of an error. Id indicated that the error was related to an attempt to write a value to the DB that does not have a corresponding "table" in the DB. I 'kind of see' that from the error message, but I don’t understand how it could be occurring if the data export and import are occurring on the exact same application DB.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It is a planning database, if so log on my oracle support and have a read of -
Error "1003000 Unknown Item [1.#QNAN] or [-1.#IND] in Data Load, [xxxx] Records Completed" [ID 961934.1]
Even if it is not there is invalid data that has been exported.

I am having a problem with the new 7.02 update of Report
Builder. The issue is it's not finding my SQL query.
I have wrote my query initally in the advance mode, and it
doesn't seem to reconize it. Is there an issue with this?

This report works in 7.01. So all query variables match with
a variable in the SQL select statement.

Thank you very much for help.
The "Unknown column name " is a field still used in my
report, so I can't remove it.
After I clear the query in the report and reopen the report
and apply the same query back to it, I get different error message:
Element TASKNUM is undefined in QUERY.
The error occurred in : line 1
-1 : Unable to display error's location in a CFML template.
I know for sure this "Element TASKNUM is undefined in QUERY."
is defined in query. each time it complains something different. I
get really confused.

3. change run unsucessful or did not run properly and data in master data is messed up.

Save/Load Error "Unknown Error" while converting VI to Template VI

Hi,
I am trying to convert LabVIEW 8.0 VI to Template VI. If I change the file extention (Windows) from *.vi to *.vit, then icon is changing but while loading the template from LabVIEW 8.0 it tells Save/Load Error "Unknown Error". I tried mass compiling the VI's but no change. I tryed LabVIEW Save As options to save VI as Template VI.No Use. Then I created one Blank Template VI then copyed the contents from VI to Template VI. If I am reopening the Template again it tells the same error.
I assumed I can use all LabVIEW functions inside Template VI. (There is no difference between VI and Template VI). If this this assumption is wrong please let me know about the limitations in using Template VI's
Please let me know what procedure I should follow to convert VI to Template in LV 8.0

with my copy of LabVIEW 8. I created a
VI, saved it as a .vi, renamed it to .vit, and even did “save as..” and changed
the extension there to be a vit. Have
you tried these things with a different VI – say, just a VI with a while loop
and a stop button? Is this error
accompanied by any other .cpp error messages?
We have seen situations like this where this error dialogue comes up,
and it’s usually a result of some sort of VI corruption. If possible you might want to post the VI
here too, and I can see if I can convert it for you. I’m happy to help, please let me know if
anything here helps, or if you have any additional information on this problem.

I got Data Loading error when I am loading from Flat File.
Following is the error message :
Too many error records - update terminated
Error 18 in the update
No SID Found for value '00111805' of Characterstic ZUNIQUEID (Message No 70)

Check the format of your charecteristics and key figures .
Check you put data separators in you flat files approriately
In the particular charecteristics ZUNIQUEID ,ensure data is consistent...check the related tables

Key here is that 5 records were loaded before failing on the 6th, indicating it's not a header issue on the load rule.
Check the first 5 records and see how the column containing 2007 differs between them and the failing 6th record. Perhaps the 6th record has a null (as indicated eariler) or prehaps 2007 is not the name of the member in the outline.
I have had both issues give similar error results.

with value "08:00:" need to convert to 08:00:00...for some records and rest of the records are coming with normal 6 digit time.

Try out following sample code inthe transfer rule for the same info object and it should work
lv_len = strlen( str ).
if lv_len = 4.
concatenate str '00' into str.
endif

Hi Jayram,
I am assuming that you are getting this error when you are loading data from PSA to IO. If so, the error might be because of
1. Duplicate records
PSA might have duplicate records. But you will be able to load only one record to Master data IO. In DTP Update tab, there is an option for "Handle Duplicate Record Keys" . Just enable this & try to load again.
2. Erroneous records.
Some special reocrds are allowed in PSA where as thye might not be allowed in Master Data/Data Targets like Lower case letters/ some speacial characters etc. If error is because of this, then you might need to correct the data at PSA level & reload the data to Master data. Else get it corrected in source system itself & fetch the data to BW. Or write some code to take care of these special characters.

we are geting data load error as; Process 000087 for deterermined fro infoobject DUVTYPE started in STATUS TAB and in DETAILS TAB update(251new/160 chnaged): Errors occured.
what should i know from information and what are the reasons for this load failure and possible rectification methods.
This load is through process chains and aslo a delta load.
Can i delete the request and start the infopackage manually? also will it make my Process chain Green automatically or should i repeat from the subsequent process?

Hi siddharta,
look in the details of the monitor to see the error. Be very cautious with deltas! They can not be repeated every time. it depends on the datasource! What you can do is delete the failed request from all(!) the data targets meanwhile!

ERPI data load error

We are loading one month data from peoplesoft to planning application using ERPI 11.1.2.1. It takes about 1 hrs to load one month data.Is it normal? Hello,
Part of the message you are getting is because the WebLogic process is a bit intuitive. It knows when something is running and waits. It also assumes anything running for a certain period of time is considered "stalled/stuck" and reports it. The time it waits is dependant on the Weblogic configuration.
As for the time it takes to load data... that is very vague. Without knowing more about your environment that is very hard to state. We know nothing about the hardware, platform, dataset size, etc. You would need to review ODI to find out what is taking the long amount of time and try and replicate it outside of ERPi/ODI to see if you get the same results.

As it is comma separated and all the members for the POV need to be together try enclosing it in quotes e.g "USD,E01_0 ,Jan,Current,Working,FY11"

Material Master Data Loading Error

I am loading master data for material. i got the following error.

    Process :   If this message appears during a data load, maintain the attribute in

I have applied RSKC tcode in BI with ALL_CAPITAL, ALL_CAPITAL_PLUS_HEX, and one special character string. but still getting the same error.

Procedure
    If this message appears during a data load, maintain the attribute in
    the PSA maintenance screens. If this message appears in the master data
    maintenance screens, leave the transaction and call it again. This allows to maintain your masterdata
which string i should have to add in RSKC to remove this error ? i have already added the ALL_CAPITAL, ALL_CAPITAL_PLUS_HEX.

Data Load Error

Everytime i try to run data load i get the following error,
Object [7905367] is locked by user [user3k]
Unable to load database, locales [English_UnitedStates.Latin1@Binary] and [English_UnitedStates.US-ASCII@Binary] are not compatible
Object [7905367] unlocked by user [user3k]
Unexpected Essbase error 1019057
The rule file is validating successfully.

Not sure where the difference in ESSLANG is occuring. Is the ESSLANG variable on the EAS server different to the Essbase server?
