Data Matching For Non Alphabetical Letter (Japanese character)

Hi,
I want to do some data matching for Japanese Character like Name & Address (Using kanji or kana).
There's a lot of uniqueness of the japanese character like the letter is the same but the pronounciation can be different or it can be in reverse, the letter is different but the pronounciation is the same.
I don't know what is the best method that can support unicode letter (japanese) for matching.
Can anybody help me what is the best method for this case?
Can I use fuzzy logic things in SSIS?
Regards,
Felix

Hi Felix,
Fuzzy matching is based on a number of characters, not just one, it is for complete words.
So it will not match pronunciations, same is with the case when it is reverse, but it may may be matched if you come with an artificial match table.
So to make it out with SSIS you need to use a Lookup Transformation against this match table that defines what characters constitute a match.

  • Can SAP BI (BW) stand alone as a data warehouse for Non-SAP Source Systems.

I recognize that the answer to this question depends on the version of SAP BW we are discussing. My question is one being posed to determine how SAP BW fits in with the BI world and the other tools available.
    - Can a company implement SAP BI without also having the SAP ERS applications?
    - If so, will SAP BI effectively support 3rd party source systems and what is needed to make it effective (NetWeaver XI, NetWeaver 2004s)?
    Thanks for your expertise.
    Denny

    hi dear,
clearly the most valuable input given by BW is a native integration with all SAP world...
well, you can manage a BW without having a SAP ERP as source system:

  • How to setup EWA for non-ABAP system with SM 4.0 ?

Hi, we are running SM 4.0 with the support-stack 06. I have set-up a solution for monitoring which includes a NW04 WebAS 6.40 Java only system. Has anyone set-up EWA reports for this type of non_ABAP system who can advise of the steps necessary for this ?
It seems like you need to define RFC destinations for where the monitored system data should be collected from , but there doesn't appear to be anywhere to do this for non-ABAP systems ?
I have looked at Note 738676 - Service Data Download for Non-ABAP Components but it hasn't helped and it seems to be SDCC specific, rather than SDCCN.
    Thanks.

    Hi Andrew,
we are just developing it, at the moment you have the following option, your java system has to send by ccms agends its data to an ABAP 640 system or higher, there you can see its alerts in ccms, then you have to make both system available in SMSY. Then important you have to assign the java system as a system component, then we collect also the java data and shows them in the EWA of the ABAP system. There for go to the main instance tab and set a java main instance to relevant and assign your java system.
This is the old, available standard solution. At the moment we develop it also for java stand alone.
I think it will be available with the new ST-SER in autumn

  • Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching.

    Hello all,
I am using the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 to detect the rotation angle of a template image. However, it shows the error: "Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching." What is the problem exactly? How to solve this? The details are explained below.
My project is a little bit complicated. Part of the block diagram containing the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 is shown below:
The source image is a series of frames of images read from an AVI video (I used a for loop to process the images frame by frame). The template image is a selected region of the first frame. So it means, the user selected the object of ineterst in the first frame of the video, and in each of the following frames, we need to find the matched object of interest & determine its rotation angle. When I run the block diagram shown above, it does not have any error. However, it shows the rotation angle as zero no matter what it "really" is. Therefore, I changed the block diagram by adding the parameters, shown below:
But in this case, when I run it, it shows the error that I have indicated in the subject line.
If you need more details about my project to identify the problem, please let me know.
    Thanks in advance.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

-Please go through pattern matching example which comes along with labview fiirst
Go to labview Help>>Find Examples and you can search for example.
-You have create template with angle range and what type of pattern matching you want use.
-For this you have to use IMAQ Learn Pattern before using IMAQ Match Pattern 4
    Refer :http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370281U-01/imaqvision/imaq_match_pattern_4/

  • Data elements for IDoc Segments to non-SAP system

    Hi,
I need to create IDocs for transferring data to non-SAP system. When I create segmet fields should I create new data elements for all the fields with attributes specific to receiving system? Because there are many fields where the field attributes of SAP system do not match the corresponding fields of receiving non-SAP system.

  • Mapping deploy for Non-Oracle Data Source hangs

    Hi All,
I am trying to deploy mapping for Non-Oracle Data Source and it hangs.
Oracle version is 10.2.0.3 and OWB version is 10.2.0.1.3.1
It would be really appreciated if you can help.
    Thanks!
    PS.

That helpes quite a bit. I still can't get the app to retrieve data, but I am getting a more useful message in the log:
[Error in allocating a connection. Cause: Connection could not be allocated because: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied]
As you suggested, I removed the <default-resource-principal> stuff from sun-web.xml and modified it to match your example. Additionally, I changed the <res-ref-name> in web.xml from "jdbc/jdbc-simple" to "jdbc/oracle-dev".
The Connection Pool "Ping" from the Admin Console is successful with the user and password I have set in the parameters. (it fails if I change them, so I am pretty sure that is set up correctly) Is there another place I should check for user/pass information? Do I need to do anything to the samples/database.properties file?
By the way, this is the 4th quarter 2004 release of app server. Would it be beneficial to move to the Q1 2005 beta?
Many thanks for your help so far...

  • Smartform Alignment for the PDS(Personal Data Sheet) for Japanese Language

    Hi,
I have a Probelm in the alignment in the smartform for the Personal data sheet report when logon in
    Japanese language.
    The texst are Overlapping.
    For example:
I have 2 columns in the PDS such as Postion title and Job title.
The texts in the Postion title is Overlapping into the Jobtitle and So on.
And the issue is happening only when i log onto Japanese Language(JA) where as for other languages
    the texts are not overlapping.
Could anybody help me in solving the issue.
    Thanks.

Japanese characters usually occupy duble byte space, that is a single japanese character will occupy the space of 'AB',
so what you can do is,
change the layout of the Screen (make the window larger),
you can split the text and write it in two lines (if your team agrees)
you will have to create a seperate Smartform for Japanese Language
you can try condensing the text &test(C)& for certain texts it might work

    Hi Stefan,
I got your point it's really helpful for me.
    I have one more doubt;

  • How to validate for non-english character on a single line text field

In a "Single Line Text" field we would like to allow the users to enter alpha numeric values only. We should show error when the user enter non-English values like
    carácter
    Vijayaragavan, MCTS

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to validate for non-english character on a single line text field.
I recommend to use jQuery to attach regular expression validation. Please refer to:
Using #jQuery to attach regular expression validation to a #SharePoint list form field
In addition, for custom validations you can create your own Types. Refer to

  • Data Mapping Templates for NON-RTA Systems

    Hi all,
I'm designing n extractor for my NON-SAP System.
I've been reading the Appendix B: Data Mapping Templates for Non-RTA Systems from Configuration Guide - SAP GRC AC 5.3.
I have a couple of questions regarding the size of two fields in table ACTION PERMISSION OBJECTS TEMPLATE
Is correct the size that the documents says about fields:
ACTION (document says it's 20 but in other tables is 50)
PERMISSION (document says it's 10 but in other tables is 100
ACTVT (document says it's 10but in other tables is 50)
    Thank you in advanced.

    Hi Luis,
Yeah i will follow the recomendations but i'm updating some files to RAR and i've seen another kind of inconsistency such as in the table User File Template. Recomendation says that both FNAME field and LNAME field are 50 size each one but in my case i can update a FNAME 51 size and a LNAME 49, i mean between FNAME and LNAME it's 100 size.
    Cheers.

    Vikram

To load that file with BULK INSERT, use this format file:
    9.0
    4
    1 SQLCHAR 0 0 "\""      0 ""    ""
    2 SQLCHAR 0 0 "\",\""   1 col1  Latin1_General_CI_AS
    3 SQLCHAR 0 0 "\",\""   2 col2  Latin1_General_CI_AS
    4 SQLCHAR 0 0 "\"\r\n"  3 col3  Latin1_General_CI_AS
Note that the format file defines four fields while the fileonly seems to have three. The format file defines an empty field before the first quote.
Or, since you already have a .NET program, use a stored procedure with table-valued parameter instead. I have an example of how to do this here:

  • BW Extractors for NON-BW Data Warehouse

    Hi,
I am working on a client who wishes to use a custom developed Data Warehouse. Is there any way to use SAP's standard extractors to extract data to these non-sap dw systems (or download the data in flat file format from extractor after run)? We are looking for mainly LO Cockpit and Finance extractors.
    Best regards,
    Nikhil

One option I know of is using Informatica you can extract data from SAP R/3 and load a non-BW data warehouse via SAP BCI adapters. BCI adapter makes use of delivered extractors.

  • 10.2.0.4 for "non-mainstream" platforms - release date?

    According to
    SAP on Oracle
--> SAP on Oracle Development Update
patch 10.2.0.4 for non-mainstream platforms (Windows IA64, Linux IA64 etc.) was to be released "in August", now we have mid september and patches are still not available.
Any idea why this is postponed and if there is a new date?
    Markus

    lol
If that was true then it´s even more ununderstandable, that the "mainstream platforms" are already released

  • 'Zero-width Non-Joiner' Unicode Control Character for Xperia International Keyboard in Persian

I use Xperia International Keyboard in Persian (Farsi) on my Xperia Z3 Comapct. I really like its Gesture input for Persian. On the other hand I like Google Keyboard for Persian for its 'Zero-width Non-Joiner' Unicode Control Character key. This character is used in Persian as a non-breaking space or "نیم‌فاصله". But Google keyboard lacks gesture input for Persian. I would like it like very much If there is a ZWNJ (U+200C) key on next updates of Xperia International Keyboard for Persian. It would be perfect if it also have Arabic Decimal Separator (٫) (U+066B) and Arabic Thousand Separator (٬) (U+066C).

  • Delivery date for Non stock items

    Hi,
While creating Maintenance order for Non stock items in component screen planned delivery time fld comes. Here
I put 10 days. But system creates PR with delivery date as today's date ie order creation date.
Actually delivery date should be 20.09.2009.
    Waiting for your valuable inputs.
    Thanks
    Prasad

    Hi,
The requisition delivery date is dependent on the operation start date. System does not consider the planned delivery time when calculating this delivery date.
The delivery date is based on the following calculations:
    - The start date of the operation
    - Minus  Goods receipt processing time of the component
    - Plus or Minus  Lead time offset for the component in the order
The above values can be adjusted to manipulate delivery date.
As mentioned, It is also possible to influence this date by implementing exit COZF0002.
