Data mis match in extractor checker

Hi Gurus,
Please help me to solve this issue.
there is a mismatch of records when checking datasource through extractor checker. the extractor is showing 1476 records in r/3 table but i check the table in t-code se11 it is having only 506 records. so can any one help me what are the possible reasons and how to analysis and solve this issue.

If generic datasource based on function module : check how the function module is designed to extract data.
If generic datasource based on table : Check the table in se12 data with same restrictions which you may use in RSA3.
If generic datasource based on view :
Check the view in se12 data with same restrictions which you may use in RSA3.

Extractor Checker OK but actual Extract has no data!

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and for your help in advance
I have a simple custom function module in ECC6.0 which is getting employee information from LDAP. This information is then tagged on to a few other fields and sent to BW.
I created a data source based on this function module and I'm trying to send the data to BW. The Extractor checker is working fine and shows the right data. However, when I run the infopackage from BW I receive no data!
I checked the IDOCs as well and noticed that the info IDOCs are sent back to BW with 0 data records, which is telling me that the extractor is not sending back any data, despite it showing the data in the extract checker (RSA3)
Any thoughts?

The partner profile is ok, and when I test in RSA3 I see the data the I need - so running the extract in debug mode is fine, however running it in the background mode gives me 0 data records
I don't think it is an authorization error either !

RSA3 data and PSA data not matching

Hello All,
I am in BI7.0 and trying to Load FI_GL data usng 0FI_GL_4 DS from ECC6. I was able to install, activate all necessary standard objects that are involved. I have executed data Load from Infopackage by doing Init. with data Transfer..which went okay and now i am data upto PSA Level with everything green status. But when I noticed that in PSA Maintenance screen its showing whole lot more data..it shows 103 Datapackages transferred and lot of data records in each packages.
In R3 side (RSA3) shows only 831 records. IN BI7 , monitor screen shows more then 9 million records recieved.
Could anyone tell me why this happened? Is it possible that this particular PSA already had data on it? if so How can i find and delete previous records from this PSA? please suggest...

Hello,
1)The error comes if the data is wrong in the DSO.
Something like before and after image are missing for a record and thats why change log is having some issues.
you can check the data between new tables and PSA and see if its matching or not.
Try to delete all the data from the PSA and the DSO.do proper mappings again especially in the keys of the DSO and then reload it.
try to load it for a small a amount like one company code and one fiscal period.check in PSA if its matching or not from RSA3.
2)If the data is getting loaded then there should not be a any problem with the data source.DTP could be an issue.the program is to activate the data source in BI 7 system and if the data source is already activated then you dont need this again.
3)Rule proposal can be generated if the fields are same and have same technical name.in your case the field name are different since its datasource and DSO mappings and therefore you will have to do mappings manually.
4)you mean RSA3??
RSA3 displays the data from tables only in case of full mode.Also,try to do full loads till the PSA and then check for the same in RSA3 in full mode.keep the package size and number of calls maximum so that it will show you correct number of records extracted.
RSA3 is an extractor checker and can be used for verify small amount of data,dont use it for verifying the datasource for all the drecords.
use underlying tables if you want.
if init is done properly then the data will be correct and you should verify it with the tables and not RSA3.

Error " Data missing for the entry check while creating a new waste code

Hi all, While setting a new Waste code I get the error " Data missing for the entry check, correction:". while filling the NAM- WASTECOCAT - LER item.
This sould look for the catalog's name included in the phrase set but for some reason it doesn't find it giving me this error.
I am changing original Characteristics, phrase set, classes, and value assignment type. Just to have my own estructure with Znames for all of them.
I have also change the enviroment parameter "WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG" with the name of my phrase set.
I have checked everything several times watching for typos or looking for a missing step.
I have even tried including my new Z's characteristics in the classe and living the original SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG. (changing the enviroment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG to SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG) and it works.
I will like to change this characteristic by Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
Phrase set to Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG.
enviroment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG= Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
After matching up the master data It should work fine but I might be missing something to get it running ok.

Hello Juan Carlos, the value and class that I want to duplicate and doesn't work is for Waste Code, I have also duplicated the one you have displayed (waste pproperties) without any problem.
1.I have duplicated and changed class SAP_EHS_1024_001. to Z_EHS_WA
2. Create a copy of the 5 characteristics included in this class.

I checked the funcion C14K_WASTECATLG_CHECK is in the value of the Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CODE characteristic

I could not able to create a Blanket PO with document type FO and item category B (limit).
Normally for a blanket PO, GR is not allowed and IR is mandatory. So, I could able to see these checkboxes for GR (not set and grayed) and IR (set and grayed) in the item details of the PO in delivery and invoice tabs. But I end with an error message that 'GR is not set is used is not allowed' (exactly i don't remember but some thing like that)
Before creating a blanket PO, I found that in 'attributes of item categories', that for the item category B, GR is set and IR is not set (in customizing-OMH4). Of course, one cannot change the attributes of item categories.
I suppose due to this mis-match in the attributes of item categories and that in the PO, I'm getting an error message while creating a blanket PO and could not able to save.
Also I have checked all the system messages for the message displayed. No where(i.e. in any message class or category and for that message number) I found any such message defined with error in 'attributes of system messages' for purchasing, material master, inventory, invoice verification etc.
I suppose this error message is coming somewhere from the application program for the PO.
So, what can be the solution

I have tried matching the GR and IR controls of account assignment category with PO GR, IR controls and also with item category B, GR, IR controls. Still i am getting the same error and could not able to save the PO
Also I have checked the field settings for PO for all categories like transaction relevant, item category relevant, etc in customizing.
Main problem is both GR and IR controls are being grayed in PO. Other wise I could able to change them as per my wish and could able to avoid the error even though the GR and IR controls in PO are correct as per the process requirement.
If possible, please check the GR and IR controls for item category B (in my system it showing that GR is set with binding and IR is not set with binding). But it should be reverse as per the process requirements and in limit PO it is showing correctly. i.e. with GR is not set with binding and IR is set with binding.

Multiple Version Issue. data not matching

Dear all,
pleas help me in this issue..
we have the Apo (DP) Cube. we are running the reports on this cube..
when we run the query we are giving the Verion ( means week) in the selections.. data is coming but.not matching with Apo..data..
we assumed that data is coming more. beacuse it might taking the data of previous year also.
so we included the Calyear and aksed user to selct both, vesrion as well as year.. because their req is for multiple version with historical data.
They want to see the data for multiple versions with historical data... even though data is not matching..
what we had done is again deleting all the data from Cube and dso an datasource , again loading... this time we asked user to run the report and match it the data is matching.. with vesrion
But when we go for historical data with mutiple version. its not matching ,
pleas help me out where to find out this probelm , what could be the cause ,.
how to chek

Where as in case of Multiplr versions . data is coming more.. donno wheather it is mixing up the duplicate data . or what not able to underand.

R/3 Extractor Checker doubt

I created a Custom Master and text datasource and when i do the RSA3 Extractor checker :
if i change the "Data Records / Calls" and try the extractor, the number of records extracted changes :
Like if i entered :
Data records / calls = 1000 - i get "570 records"
Data Records / Calls = 10000-i get 57 records.
My question is that : why is the number of records extracted not Consistent ??????
Similarly if i change the "Display Extr. Calls"
to 1 or 10 , the number of records changes.
Any suggestion please.

Hi Shalini,
The idea in of these 2 fields in RSA3 is like this:
Data Records / Calls = 1000
Display Extr. Calls = 1
This means display one call and each call can include maximum of 1000 records. If you change the second parameter to 10, it means, display 10 calls (packages) with max of 1000 records per package.
Unfortunately, this figure is not always correct. I do not know the scenarios but like you mentioned, it is not always correct.

IPhone 6 Plus 16GB blue screen crashes: Read, error type:Address map hole or size mis-match

Hi folks,
Some time ago I had a 16GB 6+ and it crashed with the blue screen, so I returned it. I now have a brand new one that I got from Tmobile ($75 return fee) and although it has mostly worked just fine, I have gotten 2 blue screen crashes. Below are the details from the phone's log.
What strikes me is the message "Read, error type:Address map hole or size mis-match".
Does anyone know if this could be caused by a hardware defect?
I've gotten one of these crashes running iOS 8.1.2 and another in 8.1.3.

Extractor checker

can anybody tells me the steps to use extractor checker.I knw tht we use RSA3 and the screen give the datasource name.After this step wht shld i do.Also do i need connection to the R/3 system when i use RSA3.

Hi Denzil,
To check if the same data is loaded into BW, you cannot use the RSA3 tool. You would need to check by scheduling an InfoPackage. You have the option to just load to the PSA and you can check the data here.
RSA3 can be used for other source systems, like CRM, but not for flat file systems as for flat file loads the datasource is just on the BW side, not in the source. But here too you can set up the load to just load till the PSA and once you are happy with the data, you can load further.

Then , I use RSA3 extractor check , prompt: 0 data records selected .

The extractor checker comes packaged in Service API (SAPI), which enables you to create generic DataSources via transaction RSO2. The extractor checker has been available since very early SAP releases (both SAP_APPL including the 3.X track and BW including the 2.X track). It can be considered release-independent. It does not require the source system to be connected to the target BW system. For more information about SAPI, go to SAP Service Marketplace. You search SAP notes using the keyword u201CSAPI.u201D
By running the extractor checker in the debug mode, you can learn a lot about the underlying application. I have been in situations where I had to work with application-specific standard extractors in areas that Iu2019m only vaguely familiar with. Running the extractor checker in the debug mode has helped me identify the base tables without a lot of effort.
I have seen generic extractors delivering no data because of faulty logic/coding. The reaction on the BW side is usually one of bewilderment and disbelief. You can avoid this by running the extractor check before executing your InfoPackages from BW. Iu2019ll show you how to use this tool in a more effective way and explain why you might want to use it more frequently.
For extraction of data we create datasource in the source system.............after that we replicate it in the BW side...............
Now our datasource can extract data from any:
Table or view
Query
Function mudule.................................
Now to check whether thae datasource is working fine or not.........We have to go to RSA3 in the source system...........There we will give the Datasource name.................then we will execute.........then it will displsy the data it contains...............we can also check for a specific value......

Error in Extractor checker - RSA3

Hi gurus,
I tried to run the extractor 0CO_PC_ACT_10 in RSA3-extractor checker and it just take so long and then it dumps. I am just confused because this extractor works fine and very fast when I loaded data to BW with the same selection as I run the checker.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I uploaded 525 records in BW with runtime of only 1m 23s but when i run the checker with the same selection as with my infopackge, it takes so long and then dumps.
st22 says...TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED, The internal table "IT_208" could not be enlarged further. You attempted to create a block table of length 1106192 for the internal table "IT_208".
I think this means it exceed the allocated time to run a certain program.
My question is why it takes so fast to upload in BW and in other hand it dumps in RSA3? Is it because RSA3 is being run on line? .. is there a way to run it in backgroud and just check the extracted data afterwards?
I am not sure of my thoughts.. i just thinking of some possibilities.

Extractor checker not working

Hi Geeks,
It seems all the questions in the world are vexing me today. Any ways.
I activated 2LIS_03_BF using RSA5.
I checked whether 2LIS_03_BF is transferred correctly in RSA6.
Then I activated data-source in LBWE.
I went to extractor checker (RSA3)to check whether 2LIS_03_BF works fine.
But it does not extract any records, even though I have thousands of entress seating in MSEG ( material document)
I am not giving any selection criteria. (even for selection criteria I my extractor checker is giving me 0 records)
Help me most awaited.

Hi Monica,
In RSA3 in the update mode option it will be by default full load...so when u r trying to extract the records for the BF datasource you are getting 0, because u didn't fill the setup tables..and in lo cockpit datasources won't pick data from the application tables so first we have to fill the setup tables
As Pradip said their is no harm in filling the setup tables even if u any postings THIS IS APPLICABLE ONLY TO DEVELOPMENT.
IN PRODUCTION before filling the setup tables you have to make sure that the system is locked for any new or changed documents in the concerned application.

Extractor checker problem

Hello experts,
I have done some enhancements to the billing data source (2LIS_13_VDITM) but i cant view that record in the extractor checker. But when I check the Delta queue i can view those new records.
Please need ur inputs on this as to how we can view the records in RSA3. Its very important.

Hi,
Sometimes its not possible to view the records for the changes using RSA3. Try to view them in both F and D modes using the extract checker.
In this case, would suggest you to pull over the deltas upto the PSA and then check the changes there.
