Data not populated for Enhanced field

Hello,
I had done enhancement by adding field to the LO Datasource.
Written the code in the CMOD to populate the data. When i run init it worked fine and i am able to see the data for the enhanced filed.
When i run delta iam not able to see the data for that field in RSA7, But i am able to see the data in RSA3.
What is the reason that i am not able to see the data for the enhanced field in RSA7?

Hi M.A,
This means that there is no delta data for that field.
If there is no change in the data for that field then you cannot see any data in RSA7.
Check in the Delta repetition in the RSA7 for any data for that field.

       I have an issue with 2LIS_17_I3HDR datasource, i have enhanced the DS with Zfields, these are populated from AUFK through user exit. When i fill setup table, i can see the values being populated for enhanced fields, but for delta records, i dont find any values for these enhanced fields, even though the values exists in the AUFK table and i even tried degugging the user exit code, it doesnt go through it during the posting of delta records.
Can some one give some suggestion on this issue.

                 Yes, delta records cannot be populated by enhanced fields. Here the issue is different,
i have added a closed date to the extract structure, this is order specific, so when i create a new PM order after the full load, and release the order and close it, the AUFK table get an entry for closed date, my exit compare the object number of the extractor to object number in AUFK and get the closed date value to the DS, this is not same as enabling delta on the enhanced fields (which cant be done).

Delta not populated for Enhance field

Hello Friends,
We have a requirement to enhance Sales Header (2LIS_11_VAHDR) to retrieve Customer Group (KDGRP). Hence i enhanced the structure Sales Document: Header Data (MCVBAK) and included the field ZZKDGRP. Also wrote the Customer exit to fetch this data from VBKD-KDGRP.
Now the problem that we are facing is that when any of the standard fields of 2LIS_11_VAHDR are changed we get proper Delta records, but if the user only changes the Customer Group (KDGRP) of a Sales Order we wont get a Delta record.
I referred the Blog https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/wlg/1591but [original link is broken] would like to know if there are any other solution to handle such a scenario.
Any help will be appreciated.
Note: This field is also available through VA02 so can we make some screen level changes to trigger a Delta when this field value is changed.

its checking for the LO fields to be change to show you delta but not puling delta when one of your feidls change.
create a temp table like C-t_Data in r/3 load all Lo data in it and check ofr this fiedl data to be chnaged ..you will have to write logic in cmod that if previous value is different from new value then update tempt_table and append temp_table data in to C-T-data. hope that helps ..

Possibele entries are not populating for the fields on the selection screen

Possible entries are not populating for the fields on the selection screen for the query.But its working fine in Development and Quality Systems.

Hi,
In the Selection screen,go to Settings->Value Restrictions tab->Read Mode Settings->Custom radio button and select the options Values in Master Data or Only Values in InfoProv or Only Posted values for navigation.
After this setting,check whether you are getting the data or not.

Data not loading for new Fields InfoObjects from DSO to InfoCube

Hi Gurus -
               I have a DataSource that is providing data to existing DSO then to Infocube. My client asked me to added couple fields to DataSource and get the data to DSO and then DSO to InfoCube.
Here is the Old scenarion:   DataSource -> DSO -> InfoCube.
Here is the New Scenation:
     DataSource ( Added new fields) -> DSO (added new InfoObjects for Corresponding DataSource FIelds) -> InfoCube( Added new InfoObjects to mapped from DSO)
I added the new fields to DataSource, added the corresponding InfoObjects to DSO and InfoCube.
I successfully loaded data from DataSource to DSO. Data is populating for the new Fields/InfoObjects in DSO.
But when I load data from DSO to InfoCube, I don't see any data for New Fields InfoObjects in the InfoCube.
Data from DSO to InfoCube is loading fine for the Old InfoObjects Fields but not for the New InfoObjects I added in InfoCube.

Hi,
Why dont u debug the load through DTP debugging and check what happens to the source field and target field once it passes through the transformation. You can easily trace back where the fields are becoming blank.
The loads which you have mentioned earlier did it have values in Added Records/Transferred Records column for the cube.

We have 3.5 bw and PI 7.x. we have a PI interface in bw working in production and now we enhanced the interface with a new added field. I mapped the new field in transfer rule/ modified update rules/ods and regenerated the soap datasource in bw. The user has uploaded the file in FTP with this new field added. PI picked the file processed and the value for new field got populated and pushed the data to BW. In RSA7, i dont see the data filled in for this new added field.
Not sure, if i missed any steps, in BW, so that I can populate the value for this field.

Data not updating to enhanced field in bw from psa to target

Dear Experts,
I am loading data from datsource to target by using transformations and getting the data for all fields to PSA and i am running DTP the for one field the data is not updating,transformations and dtp also active but in DTP when i gone for with debugging mode in simulation that particular fields transformations are not appearing same thing happened in from one DSO to another DSO loading,anybody can help me for coming out of this problem thanks in advance and ur help will be appercited.

HI,
It might be the patch level, anyways what you can do is open that particular transformations, then on the top menu bars click on extras => display generated program. once you click on this the program behind the transformations will be displayed, check in the methods if that fields is assigned , if you locate that rule, put a break point and do that DTP debugg simulation you can see that in debug.
2. Quick solution will be to delete that field transformations, activate it and again create transformation for that activate activate it.

Updated Date not populated for Vendor in R3 Tables

I made few changes for Vendor in R3 but it didn't update UPDAT field in LFA1 Table whereas i could see other data fields changed that i did in the screen.
Could you pls. tell me why is it Or Is there any configuration required for updating Update field in R3 Tables....

Hi Harpal,
There are two ways you can check it,
1) Directly do the changes in vendor master transaction and before saving switch on debugging (/h) through command bar and simply debug the code and you can check where the data is getting updated.
2) Once you do all the changes in vendor master through transaction, start another session and put transaction ST05, switch on the trace, after that go to earlier transaction and save. In the ST05 screen simply switch off the tract and display trace.
In the shown trace check the update command on LFA1 table from there you can analyze which are all the fields it is writing to table.

Data Not Populating for report

Hi,
i am using Oracle BI Applications 7.9.6, i just loaded few sample data using universal adaptor. In "Financials GL - Budget and Expenses" subject area, there are two facts: Facts-Budget, Facts-Actuals.
I could get the data with dimensions across these two fact columns independently like "one column from company dimension + one measure from Facts-Budget" and "one column from cost center dimension + one measure from Facts-Actuals", but when i apply the report with "one column from company dimension + one column from Facts-Budget + one column from Facts-Actuals", i am unable to get any data. I have checked the physical tables if data was coming and row counts are fine. Please suggest me on what should i check on.

Delta problem for enhanced field in master datasource

Dear Experts,
I have a master datasource 0customer_attr. I have enhanced it with field sales group. Daily delta comes for this datasource.
But when user changed sales group for a customer from s1 to s2 then it is not coming in delta.
Still there is old sales group exist in BI for particular customer. In short , delta is not coming for enhanced field.
Please advise what should i do ?

The problem is that no delta is posted to the message type for KNA1 in the bdpcv/s tables because the orignatting field is a KNVV field
So if KNVV was changed ie sales group it will not post a ale change pointer for KNA1 therefore the delta for KNA1 will not pick up any change
However if there was a change to KNA1 on the same day as the KNVV changwe then the delta will pick up the change
The way to get around this is to either use a KNVV delta datasource into BW and then enhance 0Customer that way via transformations into the customer infoobject in BW only
Or to put a user exit into the KNVV change on R3 to generate an ale change pointer for KNA1(ie every change in KNVV will generate a change in the KNA1 extractor)

Syntax
ASSIGN mem_area TO <fs> casting_spec range_spec.
Effect
This statement assigns the memory area specified using mem_area to the field symbol <fs>. You can assign a data object or a memory area calculated from the address of a data object. After the assignment, the field symbol refers to the assigned memory area and can be used in operand positions. When used in a statement, it behaves like a dereferenced data reference, meaning that the statement works with the content of the memory area.
The data type with which the assgigned memory area is treated, depends on the specifications in casting_spec. You can either execute an explicit casting or the field symbol takes on the data type of the data object specified in the assignment. A field symbol to which a memory area is assigned, has this data type after the assignment and behaves like a data object of this type.
The assigned memory area mem_area must be at least as long as the data type specified in casting_spec and must have the same alignment. If the data type determined in casting_spec is deep, the deep components with their type and position must appear in the assigned memory area exactly like this.
Use the specifications in range_spec to restrict the memory area that can be assigned to the field symbol.
You have to assign it back to internal table to modify the content.
Check in debug mode if you have still doubt.

Infotype Screen Control (T588M) not working for additional fields to contro

Hi,
I have a requirement to enhance IT 0002 with fields LNAMR, FNAMR and CNAME. Also field preferred language.
I have included LNAMR, FNAMR & CNAME as additional fields in the Include Screen 2040 elements, lay editor and maintained table T582c where i have assigned enhancement to the standard screen. These fields are getting displayed in infotype 0002
But the issue is Infotype Screen Control (T588M) is not working for these fields to control the display or hide.
Has any of you come across this issue? what could be the reason for this issue? Please suggest ASAP.

BAPI' BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA' throws error the below error while creating material.
'The value 4010 39 99 is not allowed for the field MARC-STEUC/BAPI_MARC-CTRL_CODE'

As this BAPI is triggered from external sytem that by client in production environment , I would not be able to dig it further.
Thats why I asked if anybody confronted the same error previously.

Report Painter values are not populating for a particular cost center

Report Painter(GR55) values are not populating for a particular cost center for the months of April 1 2011 where as for May onwards values are displaying correctly..We have check the transaction code KSB1 for this cost center there are some values posted for the period of April..
Can any one help me to find out where exactly the issue is and how to resolve the same..
