Data Package 000001 : sent, not arrived. No data load in BW 7

Hi gurus...i am working with BW 7 and i have already had the complete data flow from SRM to BW, some Business Content extractors and somo others generic extractors. We have created transformations, info packages and DTP's, in fact we have loaded master data and transactional data but since last monday data load is not working any more, now every time we manually run the infopackage the next waring message appears:
Data Package 000001 : sent, not arrived
and the data load just wait for an answer of SRM (with is the source system) or SRM waits a request from BW.
We have reactivated the extractors in the SBIW, replicated and reactivated in BW (also we reactivate the transformations) and the data load is not working. Then we also regenerate the Data source but it does not work.
Do you have and idea of what is happening or which could be the problem.
Thanks

Check in transaction SMQA in the source system. The communication might not be working. If there are any entries in RED, then select execute LUWs from the menu to manually process them.
Read the error and try to resolve it before though.

Fire Fox sent not all the data in text form. Reached only piece of information. Where can I find the cache sent the text?
For example, I posted an article on a news site, but found that only a small part of my article was posted.

I'm not sure whether Firefox saved that information. There is a chance that it is in the session history file, especially if you haven't closed that tab yet. To check that:
Open your currently active Firefox settings folder (AKA your Firefox profile folder) using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Find all files starting with the name sessionstore and copy them to a safe working location (e.g., your documents folder). In order to read a .js file, it is useful to rename it to a .txt file. Or you could drag it to Wordpad or your favorite word processing software.
The script will look somewhat like gibberish, but if you search for a word in your article that doesn't normally appear in web pages, you may be able to find your data.
    Any luck?
For the future, you might want to consider this add-on, although I don't know how long it saves data after you submit a form: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/].

  • I need help proving the date tag on a photo stored in my iPhoto is from the date it was sent to my iphone/date it was imported into iphoto - and that it is NOT the date the photo was actually taken.  Please help!

I need help proving the date tag on a photo stored in my iPhoto is from the date it was sent to my iphone/date it was imported into iphoto - and that it is NOT the date the photo was actually taken.   I recieved a photo via text on my iphone and then I synced my iphone to my macbook and now it is in iphoto.  I already know that the date on the photo per the tag that shows up on it in iphoto is NOT the date the photo was actually taken.  I need article or literature or something confirming the tag is from when it was sent to the iphone and/or when it was imported.  I greatly appreciate some assistance!

All I am trying to do is find something on a forum board or article etc stating that the the date showing in iphoto could be the date it was imported or synced or sent to me and not the actual date taken.
The date on the photo could be anything because you can edit the date with iPhoto or any of 100 apps, free and paid for. So, the date on the photo will prove nothing, I'm afraid.

Select all the photos that you need to change, then click the "Photos" menu and choose "Adjust Date and Time".
If you add a year, it will adjust all the photos that you selected by adding a year (so if you accidentally select one of the photos that already has "2012", that will change to "2013").

  • How to get master data records that do not have transaction data in a query

    Hi,
How to get master data records that do not have transaction data in a query output. Can we create a query or any other way to get the master data records that do not have transaction data?

    Hi,
Create a multiprovider which includes transactional data target and master data info object. Make sure that identification for this master data info object is ticked on both the provider.
Create report on this multiprovider , keep the master data info object in rows , and now you should able to see all the values which are there in master data info object irrespective of transaction happened or not .
Next you may create condition showing only zero keyfigure values , ie. master data without any transaction.
    Hope that helps.

  • Create data source -- table does not exist in data dict.

    Hello Experts,
I'd like some suggestion on creating customized data source in SAP R/3.
First, I created a program for extracting data in to a structure layout and then created an InfoSet to link with that program.
Finally, I chose to create a data source for transaction data using "Extraction from Query".
Once I save the datasource, there was a message like "Table SY does not exist in data dictionary."
I checked that program and InfoSet. I did not found any compile error.
I wonder how I could investigate this kind of error.
I tried to create another InfoSet calling other program and then create a datasource. There was no error.
My first assumption was there is something wrong in the program.
Any suggestion on this would be appreciated.
    Thank you very much.
    -WJ-

    Thanks for your suggestion Pravin.
However, I found the problem already. This is because the package assigned to a program and to a structure layout were different. After I reassigned the correct package name to the structure layout (same package name as assigned to the program), my datasource could be created.
    This problem has been resolved.

  • Data Transfer Prozess (several data packages due two huge amount of data)

    Hi,
    a)
I`ve been uploading data from ERP via PSA, ODS and InfoCube.
Due to a huge amount of data in ERP - BI splits those data in two data packages.
When prozessing those data to ODS the system delete a few dataset.
This is not done in step "Filter" but in "Transformation".
General Question: How can this be?
    b)
As described in a) data is split by BI into two data packages due to amount of data.
To avoid this behaviour I enterd a few more selection criteria within InfoPackage.
As a result I upload data a several time, each time with different selction criteria in InfoPackage.
Finally I have the same data in ODS as in a), but this time without having data deleted in step "Transformation".
Question: How is the general behaviour of BI when splitting data in several data packages?
    BR,
    Thorsten

    Hi All,
Thanks a million for your help.
My conclusion from your answers are the following.
    a) Since the ODS is Standard - within transformation no datasets are deleted but aggregated.
    b) Uploading a huge amount of datasets is possible in two ways:
b1) with selction criteria in InfoPackage and several uploads
b2) without selction criteria in InfoPackage and therefore an automatic split of datasets in data packages
    c) both ways should have the same result within the ODS
    Ok. Thanks for that.
So far I have only checked the data within PSA. In PSA number of datasets are not equal for variant b1 and b2.
Guess this is normal technical behaviour of BI.
I am fine when results in ODS are the same for b1 and b2.
    Have a nice day.
    BR,
    Thorsten

  • How to know if the data model qry is not returning any data

    Hi
If my report doesn't have data (meaning if the data model qry doesn't retreive any data), I wan't to show this text: "There is no data returned."
My question is how would I know that the qry is not returning any data. I know I can create a text field, and write a trigger on it, to set it True or False depending on the fact that data is being returned or not.
    Thanks
    Shalu

    Hi,
In Data Model create a summary column for function=count on one of your columns.
Then for BeforeReport trigger you can write
    function BeforeReport return boolean is
    begin
    if :CS_RPT_NODATA > 0 then
    return (TRUE);
    end if;
    SRW.MESSAGE(300,'There is no data');
    return (FALSE);
    end;

  • Valid to dates on KONH table not matching the dates in A* tables- SD pricin

We have an issue in our KONH/A* tables. Please review the data below:
A583: ( This is for a Z condition type ZCTR)

    028   0071519869 01/01/2006 12/31/9999
If you look in VK13, for this ZCTR record/material you will see the following dates.  We can see that two records have the same KNUMH , is this a SAP bug?
Also what is the difference in dates in KONH and A* tables ? I see that the valid from dates match but the valid to date in KONH is the valid to date of the last record in the A table.
MANDT KAPPL KSCHL  VKORGAU MATNR                DATBI      DATAB      KNUMH

Thanks for putting so much thought into this, but I still fail to see the advantage/reason of maintaining the original dates in KONH if the new dates are prior to the original date ( in case of valid to). We always have the change log to determine the origibal dates with which the record was created.
    Thanks for all the responses.
The duplicate KNUMH is causing the issue for us:
A583: ( This is for a Z condition type ZCTR)
MANDT KAPPL KSCHL VKORGAU MATNR DATBI DATAB KNUMH
    028 V ZCTR 0006 000000000000031886 03/31/2006 01/01/2006 0071519869

As you can see two records have the same KNUMH. We were trying to run archiving for condition records and came across an issue.
As there is a duplication of KNUMH ( which is wrong) the program does not pick up the 2006 record . This is because it considers the 2008 record to be compared against the residency date and skips the older one too. We tried changing the validity dates of the 2008 record to an older date so that both are within the residency date. This is how the records looks now :
    028 V ZCTR 0006 000000000000031886 06/30/2005 03/02/2005 0071519869

    KONH
Cond.record no. Usage Table Application Condition type Valid From Valid To
    0071519869 A 583 V ZCTR 03/02/2005 12/31/9999
Once we did this the archiving program was able to pick this record up.
Has any one faced this issue before? Is this a known SAP issue ? I could not find any OSS for this.

  • How do I update out of date package which is not mine?

I want to update this package:
    http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pdfedit
Do I need to keep the previous contributer?
Do I need to replace him by me?
Do I not need to touch this at all since I do only a little changes?
And what if it become big changes?

Contact the maintainer about it. If he doesn't respond, you can ask a TU to orphan the package so you can take control.
EDIT: Or just change the package locally. Use a pkgrel of "local", so you don't confict with the version in the AUR if it's updated.

  • Copying transaction data between planning version - Not delete existing dat

    Hello all.
I made copy from one version, like 000.
The result is Version A1 and A2. I copied everything(Master Data and Transaction Data).
For each version, i ran a MRP. But in differents periods. Like October and November.
After MRP, i have a lot Planning Orders in A1 and A2. But in differents months.
My question is: I want to merge A1 and A2 in another version(Merge only  Planning Orders). How i can do this?
Using /SAPAPO/MVM or /SAPAPO/VERCOP i can copy all data from source to target. But always delete previous data.
    Thanks
    Best Regards.
    Marcelo

This isn't the answer you WANT to hear.   But there's no way to my knowledge to achieve your requirement using standard version copy functionality in APO.
One way to preserve the data for alternate / merged versions that I've found useful is to use the /SAPAPO/REL_TO_OLTP transaction to send volume data to the ECC client.  If you are loading both inactive versions to BW, then you should be able to release that data from BW to ECC inactive/"long-term" simulation versions where it can be aggregated.  That is to say, you could send A1 and A2 separately and they will simply add to one another, not overwrites (delete and re-create).
This being said, requirements using this transaction are sent as planned ind. requirements in ECC.  This may not be the desired outcome that you're looking for, so you might have to be careful which key figure you send to represent volumes.

  • To date when column is not always a date..

I know how to use the to_date function select to_date('1/1/2011','MM-DD-YY')
however there is a varchar column in a table we have that can have a date or string value.
I am wondering how I can do a to_date only on data that is a date?
I thought perhaps there was a way to do a case statement and if the to_date had an error then
show the data that is already there as string assuming it's not a date since it failed the to_date conversion.
I am not sure how I can accomplish that? Or if there is a better suggestion I am open to anything.

ThanksYou can use the suggestions given to find valid dates (it would be easier if you at least have a "standard" format for those values that are intended to be dates, however there is no way that you can display a date, and a string in the same column. Case can only return a single data type, which it takes based on the first expression:
    SQL> SELECT CASE WHEN flag = 'd'
      2                 THEN TO_DATE(str, 'dd-mon-yyyy')
      3                 ELSE str END converted
4  FROM (SELECT 'd' flag, '01-jan-2011' str from dual union all
      5        SELECT 's', 'Some string' from dual);
                   ELSE str END converted

    SQL> SELECT CASE WHEN flag <> 'd'
      2                 THEN str

I thought perhaps there was a way to do a case statement and if the to_date had an error then

  • UDO with DI object - some times udo data gets added but not di obj data

    Dear Experts,
      Greetings.
I have created a customized inventory transfer form according to the customer need. I have used document type udo object and inventory transfer. Some times the udo data gets added without adding the data through inventory transfer object. Below is the code that i am using in the item event,
    If pVal.ItemUID = "1" And pVal.EventType = SAPbouiCOM.BoEventTypes.et_ITEM_PRESSED And pVal.Before_Action = True _
                        And pVal.FormMode = SAPbouiCOM.BoFormMode.fm_ADD_MODE Then

I Would like to know if there is any other method by which if there is any error the UDO data or DI object then both should not add. I am working in SBO 2007B Patch 17.
    Regards,

    Dear Siva,
Thanks for your response. I did go through the links that you have posted. I do not have any problem in adding the stock transfer through DIAPI. My problem is that if the addon that i have developed gets disconnected, what happens is like only the udo data from the user defined form gets added and the stock transfer does not work. Hope i made my point clear.
    Regards,
    Gokul K.
