Data Package is not consistent error

Hi All,
We have a Bex issue the screenshot of which is given in the link below. We have an info cube which has huge data volume. We load it very frequently (every hour from 2 sources). This info cube has been loading from say last 5 years. We stopped compressing the data about an year ago for some reason. We are thinking of compressing the data sometime soon. All of a sudden, users are getting the error shown in the link below more frequently. No much information is available at Service Market place about this issue. Can somebody please throw some light on this?

Hi Deepak,
I am not able to attach a screenshot. Somebody directed me to servimg.com but, I do not know how to create an account in this site. The error reads like this:
"Error Aggregates of <Infocube> were compressed. Data package is not consistent. Error. Error while reading data; navigation possible.".
Thanks and Regards

    When I try to compile a java servlet with the following piece of code I get a compilation error referring to the import statement.
    I have just included the initial import statements. A large number of errors follow, as a result of this 'package does not exist error-message'.
    Has anyone encountered this or any ideas?

    That's probably because you are trying to integrate j2me suff with j2se/ee. That won't work without los of extra work..

  • T410 System Update 4 - Intel Rapid Storage AHCI Driver "Package did not install" Error

    I've not had a problem with system Update 4 until today.  I went out to check for any updates and there was only one (Optional) listed so I went ahead and tried to install it.
    It is Intel Rapid Storage AHCI Driver for Windows 64bit.  The installed version is 9.5.7.1002 and the version trying to be installed is 9.6.0.1014.  The progress bar indicated it downloaded and tried to install, but ended with the error, "1 Package did not install."  Not a lot of help in that statement!?!
    Has anyone had a problem like this before?  Any idea how to "fix" it so I can install this update?
    I even tried once with MS Security Essentials, Windows Firewall and UAC turned off with no difference.
    System details are in my sig, below.
    Thanks for any help,

    Yup, that's what I ended up doing - download and install the standalone file.  Installed just fine

  • Package does not exist error. What am I doing?

    I would appreciate any ideas someone might have. I am doing a proof of concept
    on WLS 7.0.
    I deployed a ear file, containing a jar that has a Home, Remote and Bean class
    like this:
    com\co\test\SponsorHome.class
    The EJB is deployed fine to the server and I see it in the console and everything
    looks good.
    I wrote a JSP page to access the bean and this is the error I get:
    package com.co.test does not exist
    probably occurred due to an error in /testejb.jsp line 2:
    <%@ page import="com.co.test.*" %>
    It errors out on that line, right away. Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    I have been banging my head for two days on this one.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    If you package the JSP within the EAR (or an exploded EAR) then the
    server deploys them as the same unit. They're in the same classloader
    structure to the JSP compiler can see the EJB interface classes.
    When you deploy them separately, they're viewed by the server as
    separate applications. You'll have to include the EJB interface classes
    in the JSP's webapp.
    I'd recommend deploying them together in an exploded EAR.

    And why do you think those jars are required? Guess work? Glassfish already provides them, remove them from the application deployment and try again.

  • BIA Server problem - Data package not consistent

    Dear All,
    I have a strange issue with my BIA server. When I run the report by selecting top most nodes of the hierarchy.
    Report ends up with message: No applicable data, and below error messages
    Aggregates of ZFICSC22 were compressed. Data package is not consistent
    Error while reading data, navigation is possible
    The report works fine when I select the subsequent nodes (immediate lower nodes) of a hierarchy.
    The report also works when I execute bypassing the BIA
    I have cleaned up all the hierarchy buffer but the problem persists
    As of now I am left out with last option which is rebuilding the indexes unless any one of you comes up with a better solution.

    Hi,
    Have you implemented OSS Note 1163991?
    There is nothing like data package compression in BIA.

    Hi,
    I am running into an issue with an existing master data text load process chain in Production.  The extractor is from ERP and there are only 159 records.  What is happening is the chain is stuck on yellow but there is an issue with the data packages.  The status error message is 'Missing data packages for PSA table'.  Clicking into the Details tab the message then states Data Package 1:  arrived in BW; Processing:  Selected number does not agree with transferred.

  • Error:  microedition.io.* package does not exists

    Been at this for a few days...frustration...funny.
    Using JDK 1.6 NetBeant 6.8 with WTK 2.5.2 on XP
    Was able to resolve the javax.bluetooth.* package does not exists and xylostudio by doing the following to add the libraries to the project file.
    1) Tools > Libraries
    2) in the pop up Library Manager window click 'New Library'
    3) in the pop up New Library window typed 'bluetooth' > OK
    3) highlight 'bluetooth' in Library Manager scroll menu on left
    4) click add JAR/Folder
    5) added jsr082 from C;\WTK2.5.2_01\lib\jsr082.jar
    6) click OK
    7) right click project and select properites
    8) highlight the library node under Categories on the left side of the Project Properties window
    9) 'Add Library' created 'bluetooth'
    10) click OK
    When the process was followed to resolve the microedition.io.* package does not exist error it was unsuccessful.
    The difference in the two processes being New Library name: 'microedition' and added jsr75, MIDPapi20, jsr118, then MIDPapi21 with no resolution to the errors.
    Also add the jsr75, MIDPapi20, jsr118, and MIDPapi21 directly to the project by clicking the 'Add JAR/Folder' button in the Project Properties window.

  • Import statement reports 'package does not exist'

    I am seeing another odd error. I'm working on learning how to read and write to text files, and I have 2 errors reported, but one is obviously caused by the other. My package is labeled as such (copy>paste of package line):
    package michaelchristopherp4db;
    and the import line is this (copy>paste again):
    import michaelchristopherp4db.ProductRecord;
    However, Netbeans looks at the import and flags it red, saying package michaelchristopherp4db does not exist. this caused my line:
    ProductRecord product = new ProductRecord();
    to also be flagged in red as it cannot find the ProductRecord class. However, it has no problems with any of the product.get* method calls. Thank you in advance for any ideas or input.
    here is the full code of the file reporting the errors.

    I am embarrassed to admit this, but I am completely lost on the last question.. I have no clue wether it is a convenience for development or a dependancy, as I have not learned those terms or distinctions yet. For now I copied the ProductRecord file into my new project folder and renamed it's project line to match the new project name. However, while that eliminated the package does not exist error, and netbeans reports no errors now, when I run the program it does not write the new files. I have made some modifications to the code tryiing to get it to write properly but so far no luck in makingit work. Here is the current version of the file not running right.

I will be exploring the closeFile method in case the error is due to not closing all of the files in that method, but does anyone else see what might cause it not to output the data to the appropriate .txt files?

  • How do i get at the data in the data package of the start routine

    I have some very simple code in my start routine but it says data-package is not a table but it is SAP code that defines it this way.  here is my code
    SELECT DOC_NUM S_ORD_ITM CH_ON CREATEDON INTO TABLE T_ORD_BKG_DATA
    FROM DATA_PACKAGE.

    Hi,
    The data package is not a DB table, but an internal table.
    You will have to use a LOOP statement to get at all data :
        LOOP AT SOURCE_PACKAGE INTO w_SOURCE_PACKAGE.
          IF w_SOURCE_PACKAGE-myField = '98'.
          something to do
          ENDIF.
        ENDLOOP. " SOURCE_PACKAGE
    Hope that helps.

  • Package does not exist problem

    Hello everyone:
    I am a very new programmer student, and I'm having a problem I cannot seem to resolve. I am setting up a method for a JButton, and with the first inputs I'm getting a package does not exist error. Here is the code in question:
    private void placeOrderJButtonActionPerformed( ActionEvent event )
              double subtotal = 0.00;
              // calculate subtotal
              if ( hamburgerJRadioButton.isSelected() )
                   subtotal += 6.95;
              else if ( pizzaJRadioButton.isSelected() )
                   subtotal += 5.95;
              else
                   subtotal += 4.95;
              // declare display format
              DecimalFormat dollars = new DecimalFormat( "$0.00" );
              // display subtotal
              subtotalJTextField.setText( dollars.format( subtotal ) );
    It is coming back with these errors:
    C:\Users\Brian\Desktop\LunchOrderForm.java:255: <identifier> expected
              subtotalJTextField.setText( dollars.format( subtotal ) );
    ^
    C:\Users\Brian\Desktop\LunchOrderForm.java:255: package subtotalJTextField does not exist
              subtotalJTextField.setText( dollars.format( subtotal ) );
    I declared subtotalJTextField as an instance variable, but I'm not sure what its telling me here. Could anyone help?

    When you post code, click on the "code" label and paste the code between the code tags.

    ^It appears that the line with the error is not inside a method. Java does not allow you to write code like this outside a method (or an initializer block).

  • Extract specific data packages from PSA

    Hi all,
    When loading 20 million records from the PSA to the DSO, 50 000 records (in 6 different data packages) have not been loaded (we got a dump).
    Now we want to do a delta load only containing these 50 000 records. Is it possible to choose exactly which data packages to extract to the DSO? Or do you have other ideas we could test?
    Thank you.

    hai,
    it is posible .u click the tab comes under dtp...first u click the dtp.under the delta u choose get data by request...after tat u load the data...so the data loaded package wise...if any one not loaded then only load that package only...
    thanks.
