Goto the update rules of the cube 0PP_C05 and click on any of the Key Figure -> Time Characteristic tab -> For FISCPER select the calenday day info-object and make sure the "automatic time conversion" option is checked.

  • Data load problem - BW and Source System on the same AS

    Hi experts,
    I’m starting with BW (7.0) in a sandbox environment where BW and the source system are installed on the same server (same AS). The source system is the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) 5.0.
    BW is working on client 001 while SRM is on client 100 and I want to load data from the SRM into BW.
    I’ve configured the RFC connections and the BWREMOTE users with their corresponding profiles in both clients, added a SAP source system (named SRMCLNT100), installed SRM Business Content, replicated the data sources from this source system and everything worked fine.
    Now I want to load data from SRM (client 100) into BW (client 001) using standard data sources and extractors. To do this, I’ve created an  InfoPackage in one standard metadata data source (with data, checked through RSA3 on client 100 – source system). I’ve started the data load process, but the monitor says that “no Idocs arrived from the source system” and keeps the status yellow forever.

    I didn't see any reason why it's not bringing. Are you doing full extraction or Delta. If delta extraction please check the extractor is delta enabled or not. Some times this may cause problems.

  • What is a packet problem? I'm having sound issues.

    I'm at my wit's end. I am having sound issues. I've run diagnostic tests and everything comes back as OK, but it's not OK! Something somewhere is messed up and I can't figure it out.
    I have been to the help rooms on paltlak and opened up support tickets and everything they told me to try has not helped. They suggested I change the sound tuning on my chat program, change exceptions on my firewall, uninstall and reinstall chat program, uninstall and install earlier version, download drivers for sound card, and etc. Nothing is helping this problem.
    Someone mentioned that it may be router problems or packet problems. I'm not sure what that means, and that is why I'm on this forum asking for help. I have no other sound problems on my computer. My music and videos play fine. It's just when I'm in a voice enabled chat, do I experience these problems, or if I'm on a website that has videos, the video will not load all the way, so I only get 30 seconds of a video. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
    I have used this chat service for over 5 years and up until a week or so ago, it worked fine. I did a complete reformat of my computer in hopes that it would help, but I'm still having the same problems. I lose sound within 5 seconds of entering the chat room. Then it takes between 3-5 minutes before I hear sound again, but then I only hear it for a few seconds. Then it goes away for another few minutes. Repeat. Over and over again.
    I'm running Windows Vista on an Acer Aspire 380 with wireless cable modem. I keep losing sound in any voice/sound enabled chat and on any site that has videos. I have 1gig of ram, 300 gb hard drive, 32 bit operating system, 2 processor cores, directx version 9, realtek sound card. Everything is up to date, and firmware is up to date. My speed test is: download: 6.162 mbps and upload: 926 kbps.
    When I do the ipconfig/all, it shows

    Hi. Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it just started recently and after not being able to fix the problem, I completely reformatted my computer and started with a fresh slate, but still having the same problems. The videos will not continue to load. They get less than half way and then just totally stop loading, therefore I only get to view the video up to the point where it stops loading. I just took your advice and I disconnected the router and connected my computer directly to the modem and my sound issues were fixed. I went into the voice chat and had sound for over 10 minutes (and then I disconnected) instead of the usual 5 seconds that it'd been. So is it the linksys that is causing this?     I m having web application which uses SQL Server database.
    I have to find out some problems in database connection for that there is need to log the jtds data packets.
    I have tried to use class net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.TdsCore but in constructor of TdsCore class there are two parameters needed one is ConnectionJDBC2 and another is SQLDiagnostic.
    I have tried a lot but it did not allow me to import class *SQLDiagnostic*.
    I need help in logging JTDS data packets. If there are any other ways or any body having any idea about logging JTDS data packets/SQLDiagnostic.
    Please reply it is urgent...!!

    From PHP server RemoteObject AMF3 serialization, I receive a
    photo object per below into my Flex client:

    I need photo property in a DisplayObject format such that I

    Loader class performs this task, when sourced from an AS3
    ByteArray.

    My dilemma is "how to" convert a UTF-8 string of photo data

    AS3 String readers expect UTF-16 data, so reading AS3 string
    reading is not a solution. AS3 has no Byte data type, accordingly
    reading my photo data UTF-8 string with a "for loop" into a AS3
    UTF-16 string, or whatever, is not viable. Is there a single-byte
    reader to 'whatever' writer I'm not aware of?
    If I was sourcing photos from a Java based server, my photo
    rendering dilemma would be over. The server to client packets would
    be "java.lang.Byte[]" => flash.utils.ByteArray and voilà we
    could easily and directly render photos via the Loader.loadBytes()
    method.
    I can tentatively extend one of the AS3 ByteArray class write
    methods if I thought there was a way to read UTF-8 streams. Before
    digging down into the ByteArray class on a feasibility basis, I
    thought it first best to ask around the experts per 1) can
    ByteArray be extended for my requirement, or 2) is there a better
    way to approach this, which I have not thought of?

    I simply don't get it.
    I have a root class which adds two different children of
    different classes. One child dispatched an event, and the other is
    supposed to get it. Both of the are now supposed to be in the
    instance hirrarchy, or am I wrong?
    Logically, I'd figure this should work smooth and simple
    without any need for any looping or such.
    Right now, the root class can recieve the event dispatched by
    child1, but I can't make child2 recieve any event dispatched by
    either the root or child1.
    I'd appreciate if you could show me the way...

    The overall QM status is red (says processing is overdue)
    The details tab shows

         Message missing(35676 records) : Transfer rule finished

    I checked the LUW in SM58 but didnt find anything.
    I checked infosource (PSA) - one request is in RED, but when i check the data in PSA there are no errors.
    What should I do in this case?
    What might be the excat error.

    Check the DataSource in RSA3, if it is working fine and able to see the data in RSA3, there is no problem in DS level, then checl the Mappings and any routines in BW for that DS, if this is also fine then check the below options.
    See Dumps in ST22, SM21 also.
    Check RFC Connection between ECC and BW systems, i.e. RSA1-->Source System->Right Click on Source system and Check.
    You must have the following profiles to BWREMOTE or ALEREMOTE users.So add it. Bcoz either of these two users will use in background to get extract the data from ECC, so add these profiels in BW.
    S_BI-WHM_RFC, S_BI-WHM_SPC, S_BI-WX_RFC
    And also check the following things.
    1.Connections from BW to ECC and ECC to BW in SM59
    2.Check Port,Partner Profiles,and Message Types in WE20 in ECC & BW.
    3.Check Dumps in ST22, and SM21.
    4.If Idocs are stuck i.e see the OLTP Idoc numbers in RSMO Screen in (BW) detials tab see in bottom, you can see OLTP Idoc number and take the Idoc numbers and then goto to ECC see the status in WE05 or WE02, if error then check the log else goto to BD87 in ECC and give the Idoc numbers and execute manually and see in RSMO and refresh.
    5.Check the LUWs struck in SM58,User Name = * (star) and run it and see Strucked LUWs and select our LUW and execute manually and see in RSMO in BW.

    A DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION dump occurs on screen 450 of the RSM1 function group (saplrsm1).
    Other terms
    DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION, 450, SAPLRSM1
    Reason and Prerequisites
    This is caused by a program error.
    The screen contains unused, hidden fields/screen elements that are too small for the screen check that was intensified with the current Basis patch (kernel patch 880). These fields originate in the 4.0B period of BW 1.0 and are never used.
    Solution
    Depending on your BW system release, you must solve the problem as follows:
    BW 3.0B
               ImportSupport Package 14 for 3.0B (BW 3.0B Patch 14 or SAPKW30B14) into your BW system. This Support Package will be available when note 571695 with the short text,"SAPBWNews BW 3.0B Support Package 14", which describes this Support Package in more detail, is released for customers.
    BW 3.1 Content
               ImportSupport Package 8 for 3.1 Content (BW 3.10 Patch 08 or SAPKW31008) into your BW system.This Support Package will be availablewhen note 571743 with the short text, "SAPBWNews BW 3.1 Content Support Package 08", is released for customers.
    The dump occurs with the invisible G_NEW_DATUM date field on the bottom right of the screen, which is only 1 byte long and can be deleted.
    You can delete the following unused fields/screen elements:

    G_NEW_UNAME                Input/output field

    FIELD G_NEW_ZEIT            MODULE DOKU_NEW_ZEIT.
    The function group is then syntactically correct.
    Unfortunately, we cannot provide an advance correction.
    The aforementioned notes may already be available to provide information in advance of the Support Package release.However, the short text will still contains the words "preliminary version" in this case.

  • Processing data packet (no data)

    Hi all,
    My issue is: I am trying to load data utilizing a custom datasource and a custom function module.  When the job loads it runs successfully but no records are pulled over.  However, I get records using the extractor checkor in the source system.  This is working fine in our production environment (R3) but does not work in our test environment (my sap.) 
    Has anyone encounter a similiar problem or can suggest a possible solution?

    There are no start routines, but there is a date selection in the infopackage.  It uses an OLAP variable of the last 7 days.  Everything shows up green except the processing of data packet shows a warning of no data. 
    I am confused whether this is a problem on the bw side or the sap side.

    I had problem during table conversion tcode se14.
    I corretced the error by Changing the storage Parameters to NO partioning.
    Does the cube gets paritioned by data Packet by default.

    The F fact table is partitioned on the Request which is relaed to the packets.  The E fact table may be partitioned on 0FISCPER or 0CALMONTH which may or may not also be an issue here if he E fact table had been partitioned.
    The partitioning of the F fact table is designed to support loading,e.g. each Request always loads to new partition.  This partition then gets dropped when the Request is compressed.
    You may very well have failures when to try to perform Compresses or back out Requests. I think you will have performance problems anytime the Request needs to be deleted, either because you want to back it out or it has been compressed.  Your compress time will probably be slower if you only compress selected Request, e.g. Request more than 10 days old. I'm not intimately familiar with the actual SQL and DB options used when loading the Request, but it is reasonable to assume that BW is assuming that it is inserting into an empty partition and optmized accordingly.
    I don't know if the BW will be smart enough to figure out the the F fact table is not partitioned and adjust accordingly, but you will certainly suffer on the performance side.

    Dear all,
    I have an issue with my data loading, when i execute my infopackage, i specify that it should be loaded into PSA before going to the data target. in my infopackage request i notice that i have got missing data package
    e.g.
    Data package 1 : everything OK
    Data package 2 : everything OK
    Data package 3 : everything OK
    Data package 8 : everything OK
    Data package 10 : everything OK
    Data package 12 : everything OK
    Data package 13 : everything OK
    what happen to data package inbetween e.g. DP4, DP5 etc etc?
    In my "step by step analysis" under the status tab everything is green and nothing seem to have went wrong, no short dump, no job cancelled, nothing.
    Since everything "seems" to be alright, when i try to update subsequently to the data target, i get the following errors below.
    Data packet not complete; for example, 000013
    Request has errors / is incomplete
    I got 2 questions here...
    1. why do i have missing data package and it still showes me a green idicator?
    2. how can i solve this and is this something i should be worried about?

    you encounter these type of errors rarely...
    but in RSMO screen, check for any TRFCs struck..
    also go to the JOB in Source System and analyze the JOBLOG,
    there you can find some information about what tht particular job did..!!!
    and after that check for the same in the BW system...
    perhaps while transferring?extracting the recordsthrough data packages, it might have missed ..
    Force the request RED and repeat the IP again...
    you dont need to worry about anything...simply force the request red and reload.. just let us know if the problem still persists after repeating the load...

  • Repeater does not forward data packets

    Hello all!
    I have following setup:
    A root access-point ap1, model AIR-AP1231G-E-K9 with IOS 12.3(8)JEE, is configured with one SSID on VLAN 1 (native) and working fine.
    Now I would like to add a 2nd access-point ap2 of the same model with the same IOS version as a repeater to extend the WLAN coverage of the overall network.
    I managed to configure the 2nd access-point successfully as repeater (same SSID settings, infrastructure ssid set, parent 1 mac-address set) and it associates successfully with the main root access-point.
    Now I observe following effect: As soon I leave the coverage area of the first AP and enter the area of the repeater, the client (iPhone, Laptop or any other WLAN device) associates successfully to the repeater (confirmed with "show dot11 ass" and due to the log entries of the repeater) but the data packets are not forwarded to the main access-point. There is no IP connectivity to the root AP or internet anymore.
    Another example which might lead to the solution is following observation:
    I have my laptop connected to the wireless network with two console sessions open. In one I run a ping to the first AP, ap1 (10.200.3.5) and in the other console I run a ping to the repeater ap2 (10.200.3.6). Both access-points reply.
    Now if I enter the coverage area of the repeater, my laptop gets associated to it and the ping to the first AP ap1 times out.
    Again, it looks like that the repeater denies to forward traffic to the main root AP.
    I have no clue why this happens, nor are there any log messages available which might explain this issue.
    I hope someone can help me finding the problem.

  • DATA PACKET LOSS! Websites SLOW!

    I have tested on 3 different computers on my network.. and I went to my parents house who also have FIOS and the websites that I frequent are slow.. VERY SLOW.. My dedicated servrer hosted at Hostgator is VERY SLOW. and It is VERY rubust.. I Then went to a friends house who has comcast and everything worked FINE!
    The datacenter that runs my server track down the problem and said that Verizon FIOS right now is loosing alot of data packets.  How can we get this fixed?? I hate to call customer service because they refuse to talk to anyone like they are not a 90 year of lady with no tech experience.
    VERIZON PLEASE TRACK DOWN THE PROBLEM ON YOUR END! This is unacceptable!

  • Data packet connection received

    On a fairly regular basis, once an hour approx, my N86 beeps and a message appears on the screen stating that a " data packet connection received". This also happens when I'm on a call and beeps in my ear.
    This is only a minor annoyance but an annoyance nevertheless. Any idea what this is and what I can do about it?

     also have this problem with my N5800. I have noticed on my phone bill that I have connected to the internet every 30 min.
    When I hold the menu button to see what apps are active I only ever see the "home" and "menu" logo. In my Admin settings>Packet data>Packet data connection the only options are "When needed or when available"
    How is the best way to find out what app is connecting to the internet and sky rocketing my bills!!

       and then to a cube. upto this level the data is going fine, when the data is loaded to 2009
       cube using DTP as full load  i have an issue in the report, where the net balance is not " 0 ".
       but when i do a manual load for Selective company code's as a single value selection in the
       DTP filter condetion for all the company codes my data is matching in the report, where
       the netbalance is " 0 ". 
       With this i think there is an issue with Datapacket for DTP.
       Please sugest in this regard.

    Yes, there will problem wth data loads some time with DTP.
    This can be resolved by setting scemantic grouping at dtp level, make sure that scemantic field ur defining will be unique.
    I am not sure with respect to functional side but with respect to ur post. i assume your problem will resoved by seeting company code as scemantic field or by setting some unique field as scemantic while data loading....
